The worst hotel I've stayed in. - Very untidy, breakfast is in the basement (horrible location). - Rudest and careless staff. - The price you pay reflects the state of the hotel. - They advertise they have laundry service, they do not and the nearest laundry service is a 30 min walk. - Only positive is that there are other hotels and train station near by for you to check out ASAP and move your stay somewhere more decent. - A lady wrote a page of complaints about the hotel before she left, and moved to another hotel, she gave it to the receptionist and the receptionist carelessly chucked inside the draw so the manager wouldn't see. - Every family or person we came across in the hotel all had negative comments and regret booking this hotel. Get your act together and look how you treat your guests. Treat guests they way you wanted to be treated at a hotel.

They had no option for half star, so unfortunately had to put one star! Everything about this hotel is just so disgusting and untidy! We had a stay here for 7 days and it was booked online. First two days were okay, but third night we witnessed our beds (our room was double bed) full of bugs. I literally mean, 15-20 bugs with you on bed. Can't imagine right? My father went down to the reception ASAP. But there too, there was this boy who didn't even bother to take action. But due to continuous pressure by my extremely annoyed father they gave us two rooms. We immediately changed our hotel the next morning. All our money gone in vain! This is my humble request to each and every one reading this article, PLEASE dont book your rooms in this hotel as it would not only disturb your sleep but also make you not enjoy your trip.

Absolutely terrible! If I could rate this no stars, I would. Stayed here on July 15, 2019 and came out with tons of bed bugs bites. Had to immediately book another hotel the next day. Rooms are very poorly maintained: doorknobs falling off, very dusty corners, clogged up vents, dirty walls and disfunctionional wall sockets. Fridge seems like it was never cleaned (was probably never clean since it was bought). Bathrooms are disgusting and their cabinets are falling apart. This place should definitely close down! A very bad impression of what Singapore is like. Save your money and DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!

If you like sleeping with bed bugs and cockroaches, yeah, this is your best choice! Also if you like having cold water shower after a long rainy day, this hotel would be a great choice for you too. The workers here are also extra hard working, they clean your room at 9pm, like the time when you get back from outside. They have like pillows with hair balls crawling for decoration too.

Devastatingly sad to have a hotel at a prime location. This hotel is horribly neglected in terms of guest comfort and relaxation. It is unfortunate even that it is near good shopping centers since the hotel ambiance, facilities and service is unsatisfactory. This hotel needs to be shut down for all sanitary and health safety reasons - would leave a bad name for your Singapore experience. We neglected the previous negative reviews but they were all true for us. One night alone is a waste of money, sanity and good sleep. The Claremont checklist: Bed bugs - check Dirty room with hairs on the bed and pillows - check Breakfast - better skip it if you dont like repeated food Creepy elevator - check Junk appliance - check

A very average hotel. Needs a good overhaul to freshen things up. The hotel has central AC which is great. The free wifi works well. Location is ideal for exploring Little India. An MRT station is only a few feet away. Rooms are just ok at best. There are plenty of shops nearby. The City Square Mall is opposite the hotel. The rooms we stayed in had a fairly strong odour which seemed to be a mix of cleaning products and damp. I hated it. Bed bugs can apparently be a problem but thankfully we didn't encounter any. A relative of mine was however welcomed by around 50 cockroaches upon check in!! The floor felt greasy and sticky like it hadn't been mopped well in a while. The place is however quite cheap which is its only selling point. The bathroom is functional. Towels are provided. Liquid soap is provided but no shampoo or other toiletries though. There's a kettle and packets of instant coffee and tea. There's a safe in the cupboard which didn't seem to work.

There must be Negative Rating for such type of hotels. It was worst ever experience in any hotel. Poor condition, bad smells everywhere, restaurant is in basement full of ugly smells. Moreover staff is very very rude. I asked them for room service she told me do it yourself. Advice to spend some more money and go to some good hotel. I cancelled my 6 days booking after 2 days only.

This hotel is by far the worst experience I've had so far. If there some sort of clean and hygiene factor required by hotels; this should definitely be shut. Do not go by the pictures posted on their website. Everything is old, dinghy and definitely looks like the sheets have not been changed. My family and I had gotten 3 rooms for 3 nights. We barely stepped into our room when we realized we didn't want to stay there. So we immediately decided to check out. They told us that we would be reimbursed for 2 nights. After 3 months of asking for a refund, they finally got back to us with an email saying they would not refund the money. Terrible place, and terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone.

So let me explain. Back in 2010 when I was a young boy, my father took me and family on our first International trip to Singapore. It was this hotel were it was our first stop and we were shown the photos you all can see of the “family room” one big bed + one side small bed on Booking.com. Before booking they told us that they have a room for 4 people as well, but all lies. My dad prepaid the room as it was our first trip and he didn’t want to take any risk in a foreign country. Upon our arrival we were shown our “family room” which was basically a normal room that was jammed up with another full size bed instead of the half bed as per the photos Let me draw this picture for you with words, two beds jammed up so tight that the door of the room only could open half way, the bathroom was only accessible of you jumped over the bed to go there. When my father asked them as to why we were given this room instead of a proper family room for 4. We were told “room not available if you want to go somewhere else go, we will not return the money” that too at 1am in the night. No water was provided. Bathroom was dirty. We also saw a rat in the lobby. I would recommend you to show them a middle finger from my side if you are ever cross this shithotel. Breakfast sucks too.

This is probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. Upon exiting the elevator there was a bad smell. And in the room the soap dispenser had fallen off the wall and was just sitting on he counter, the outlet was broken, there looked to be some sort of mold growing on the bathroom wall. And the fridge was broken, the sheets were stained, the bed was really uncomfortable. There was even some trash on the floor. I pushed through and stayed the night but it was really painful and I was happy to leave and never go back.

Not at all like the photos online- pictures online not representative of actual condition of this hotel. It was gross- would not recommend to anyone! Super dirty, fake and cheap bed, smelly like mildew, everything falling apart, and in urgent need of maintenance and some serious cleaning. If I could give it negative stars, I would! Can't believe they advertise charging around $200/night for this... Steer clear of this one.

Actaully, I have booked the hotel with 2 rooms for 3 nights(26-29/09/2019) but I have stayed only 1 night and give up the rest 2 nights because of the cleanliness is not good, photos in AGODA are not the same to the real. The room is not clean with bad smell, especially for the bathroom facilities are old and some of them are broken. Rugs is allergic to the skin and make my family and me could not sleep for whole night. I would like to recommend to clean the room and prepare the cleanliness.

Dont stay here. We booked for 6days, checked out after 5hrs. The room was horribly dirty and smelly that my daughter got sick. It was not cleaned before we checked in. Dirty clothes from previous guests are still in the cabinet. Bedsheets were stained. Pillowcases have hairs. Beds and pillows smelly. Comfort room is yellow with stains. This hotel is the worst.

The hotel room was extremely untidy and dirty. Moreover, the staff was arrogant and shrewd. This place isn't worth a penny of what they charge. I'm forced to give it one star, but in my own will, I'd like to give it a -5 stars rating. Don't book this on Agoda, in fact, don't book this hotel at all. Agoda cheated us by posting pictures of hotel rooms that seemed luxurious and fancy, but the actual hotel is not like anything shown in the images. The hotel is gross, no soaps, the furniture is broken, the sheets are stained and look used. Worst thing ever built in this century.

Please, don't ever try this hotel. Worst ever experience in life. Very dirty. Lots of bed bugs crawling all over the bed. Inside pillow case, bed sheets & inside blanket. Other insects available too. When complaint to front desk, they just refund without checking the room. Logically, they're well known about the issue. Intended to lodge complaint to Singapore Tourism & Health Ministry ...

Extremely bad management, housekeeping. There are a lot of bed bugs in the room that was really scary. Very less space to keep things, though this is adjustable. For breakfast also, there was no plates and glasses for guests. We had to wait unless we got the earlier ones washed. This took a lot of time. People serving breakfast are even illmannered. They were really harsh and rude when asked anything. Also, when I entered the hotel room, there was a lot of water standing in front of the entrance that made it even horrifying. Overall by this much amount they are charging, it should be improved a lot.
