Perfect location in the middle of orchard road. Easy access to Takashimaya and Paragon. Room wasn't really big but enough just to spend the night here. Price was ok. Gym room was on renovation. Laundry is self-service, $8 per washing and $8 per drying. Free parking at this hotel. Ask from the concierge for the coupon else $3 per 30 minutes.

We had a great stay here and I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! The staff were so friendly and the cleaning team especially were amazing - we loved that the hand soap, shower gel, shampoo etc were all Dove! Really nice touch and felt luxurious for a 3* hotel. In a good area of the city for shopping etc and Garden by the Bay etc easy to get to via taxi or subway. We were really pleased with this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much! 100% recommend!

Positive: Great location in the middle of Orchard Rd, close to all the shops. Service was polite. Mattress is hard (I like it, other people may not). AC works quietly. Negative: Bathroom is badly designed with disfunctional shower door. Vanity countertop is unusually low than normal (+/- 30cm lower) so I have to bend down to wash my hands and it hurts my back. Small space. Sink water tap sprays everywhere unless it's running slowly. Breakfast is free but quality is really bad. This is shocking considering Singapore is famous for its food. Very noisy as I can hear other room doors slamming throughout the night, and water running loudly in the wee hours, and people talking next door.

Staying here during early pandemic in 2020 for months!! It was a great experience. It’s located in the center of orchard road. Since most of the shops were closing during the Circuit Breaker, it was easy for me to find food around orchard and buy groceries. They have washing machine that can be used. Their staff is so good to me n my dad. They have been so helpful with printing docs, adjusting the bfast menu and so on. Thank you so much. 😊

The room is pretty spacious compared to other Holiday Inns I stayed. Simple but adequate. Room is well taken care of. Bed is definitely comfortable. I dislike the bathroom. The door either close for the shower area or the entire bathroom. If u close for the shower area, it means the toilet bowl area is exposed. If u close the entire bathroom, u gonna wet the entire toilet too. It just doesn't make sense. Also, the room is a bit too close to the office building opposite. I can see workers hustling at their desk. I'm not sure if I am motivating them or demoralising them by having a vacation on a weekday!

Stayed here for 5 days. Hotel is nice and convenient. Location is also strategic. Unfortunately, manager called tony was pretty hostile. He was very unpolite and unhelpful. I had to stand there for 30 minutes to no avail when i was locked out of my room. This manager called tony should not be a manager at this hotel. Thank you.

The small sister from Holiday Inn did not look like the big sister at all. Quite disappointed to be honest. I dont even know why they got the SG Clean label whereas it was totally different than what i found. First impression was the room was dirty, the main switch light had blood splattered, got hair stuck in between towels, lipstick mark on the coffee mug, stain marks on the bed sheet, room was heavy with dust, and worst of all? Promise not kept. I rang the hotel before booking if the hotel is willing to put plywood board underneath the mattress (normally to give more support), the receptionist said YES. i put this condition in writing too at the time of booking, and when i checked in at the hotel, receptionist also said YES. I kept asking for it, after a week of keep asking, finally the Cleaning Manager admitted the hotel never has one and does not intend to buy one. Ever. Hmmm how convenient… For those who has back problem and need hard support, please take a note. Another thing was this particular receptionist. This one was really badly need training, both general Singapore information and major hotel fees or charges. How can he refer food poisoning issue to Ministry of Health instead of Singapore Food Agency? This is a basic knowledge for common Singaporean, let alone someone who stand behind a global major hotel chain’s desk. About the fees, if you dont know or in doubt, it is better to say 1. “i dont know” or 2. “let me ask my colleague”. Especially about hotel charges, it is not fair to say one thing but do another. Lastly, about his parcel delivery management, when it is CLEARLY SHOWN YOUR GUEST NAME and the RIGHT ROOM NUMBER printed on it that means it belongs to YOUR SPECIFIC GUEST. Your guest does not need to show evidents whatsoever. Also the hotel offers laundry machine facility which guests has to operate themselves. Facilities also need to be maintained. Noone wants to use a dirty gym or broken fitness machine. This applies to laundry machines as they dont self cleaned or self fixed. More responsibility if you ask your guest to pay for them. i found it the hard way. My clothes got the dirty black mark and i decided to put towels to protect my clothes. Now breakfast, i would say for one or two nighters, if it was included at the deal, keep it. But for long stayers, just skip it. Very basic variety, below standard taste and quality, awful coffee, and some of the wait staff, they speak minimum english and need food preparation training too. I asked one of them to reheat my burger, what she did was put the burger, the plastic and paper wrapper, all of them in the microwave!!! Speechless… One last beef was this one security guy. He didnt help guest with their luggages but always talk arrogantly to taxi drivers like he owns the hotel. He seems to maintain traffic control, yet he uses rude tone to taxi drivers. Overall, accomodation is half the experience for your holiday and very important to me as we spend a minimum 7-8 hours to sleep and another hour to shower, watch TV, pack luggages, eat snacks, etc. Imagine you waste 1/3 of your holiday money and time on inferior and low value product. I felt like my 3 weeks Singapore is robbed, but thats fine, so my readers dont have to.

Great stay. Stayed for 15 days with parents. Breakfast was nice with plenty amount of choices. Room wasn't that big but comfortable enough for us, also we spent only 30% inside. Location right in the middle of Orchard, next to bus station and a few minutes from shops and basics like 7-eleven or fast food. Gym was good and open air and next to in house coin laundry. Friendly staff and lots of complimentary bottled water is a plus for us. Last but not least was their housekeeping truly take their time to change our sheets make sure our room is ready for resting. Overall, great value for money spent.

Amazing service from WANG at the breakfast place. She served us very genenuinely and attentively during our last stay last year. I was so touched when she greeted me and my mom on my recent stay, and even asked me where was my dad and sister. In surprised she remembered all of us. She made our stay truly a memorable one. Great, friendly and welcoming. Guys at the reception are awesome and the Chef is fantastic. The chef is super friendly. I asked him to make me an omelette for breakfast and he did. It was delicious and just perfect. Rooms are nice.

For the price it can’t be beat. Clean rooms and excellent location. I must shout out Chef Ram on an amazing and delicious breakfast spread that changed daily but was always excellent - and ensured you didn’t get bored of the food. Highly recommend.

Overall, the hotel is great. It's along Orchard Road so you don't need to worry about shopping and buying food. The rooms are clean and orderly. You have all the basic amenities you'd expect from a hotel. The bed is comfortable after a long day in the city. The bathroom is good, with a big shower and a well mounted shampoo and body wash. Their breakfast buffet is great. With a pretty descent assortment of food, deserts, and drinks. They also have a coffe machine if you want something to go. Highly recommend this hotel especially if you are out and about most time of they day. It offers just the right amount of comfort and basic necessities.

HIE is what it is, a budget hotel in a top location. rooms and amenities are pretty standard which is OK. however the service and attitude of a certain Front Office staff could be better when explaining the direction to me and the taxi driver. we are only trying to get to your hotel, not knowing the exact location is normal for tourists. their dining staff was so much better, with smiles and positive greetings, especially from a love lady by the name Wang.

My family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for the F1 Grand prix and I was stunned how beautiful the hotel is. First off the service was one of my favourites in any hotel I've been in. Second of all the locations are easily the best I've been in for the past 11 years going to Singapore for holidays. The only thing is that the rooms were a little bit too small for 2 people but otherwise everything else was spectacular. This hotel may be the best budget hotel I've ever been in and I highly recommend this place if you are on a budget. My thanks go to Mrs Wang for the great hospitality.

Great place to stay around Orchard Road. The staffs are friendly. The breakfast choices are plenty and some of the menu keeps changing every morning which is a plus, so guests who stay for days won't get bored with the same breakfast selections.

The location is excellent, as it is very convenient. The room is clean. Staff are helpful. Only downside, if i were to nitpick, I would say there's no swimming pool here.

Best experience. Knowing I was booking for 3 pax, the Hotel has prepared 1 extra bed without asking an extra charge, all were completely provided whe I opened the door. Limited dining room but handled with care and dexterous by the staff. Amazing.

Stayed for 4 nights, everything is superb. Location 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Hospitality 5/5 Food 5/5, for an express hotel the variety of food are excellent. Staff 5/5, all smile and very helpful. The last day when we’ve got rejected by gr*b car due to our luggages, one of the staff (the gentleman with glasses, unfortunately didn’t get his name) helped me and explained all the options i can choose, then He ordered another car and stayed with us until we left for the airport Would love to stay in this hotel again in the future

Highly recommended for both short and long stays. Scrumptious breakfast with great service. As it's located in the centre, getting across the city is not an issue. Clean and comfortable bedding to retire after a long day. Chef Ram took care of all our dining needs.

We stayed in a room for 3 people with 2 single beds and a sofa bed. The room was very clean and well furnished. Breakfast was included with good coffee and hot food. Conveniently located on a quiet side street just off the Orchard Road shopping area.

Rooms were of a good size and clean. Really convenient location as well as it’s right by Orchard but is cheaper than most hotels in the area. Breakfast buffet is great with halal options. Hotel has a gym and laundry area for guests. Staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

a fantastic hotel, the unbeatable staff, friendly and very helpful, we were very much at home, in the absence of a little more variation in the buffet but that is not a negative point, the rooms could not be better, the daily cleaning unbeatable. the maid that touched them I think her name was IAN or a similar name deserves a promotion, the friendliness of the reception and the guys at the buffet were incredibly unbeatable... without a doubt we will repeat Singapore and we will repeat in that hotel... central with all connection bus, metro etc at hand! 100% recommendable!!!

Decent sized room, spotless clean bedroom, commendable daily housekeeping, friendly staff, and a tasty breakfast in this hotel definitely made an impression. The location of the hotel is just perfect. Orchard MRT station is just a few minutes' walk. A couple of bus stops are just a stone's throw away from the hotel, innumerable shops nearby if you fancy shopping, and a number of restaurants in the vicinity to dine in. Overall, we have had a pleasant stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Orchard, Singapore and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Orchard and within easy walking distance of many of the city's top attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept soundly each night. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower and plenty of towels. One of the things that really stood out to me about this hotel was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. Whether I needed directions to a local attraction or recommendations for a nearby restaurant, they were always happy to help. Overall, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Orchard, Singapore. It's a fantastic hotel in a great location, with comfortable rooms, exceptional service, and all the amenities you could need for a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed four nights here and the locality cannot be beaten at this price point. We received incredible and welcoming service at check in by Richard and Laurence who made our stay even more the better. The hotel is very contemporary, clean and crisp with decent sized room and bathroom. As mentioned, the location is close to many MRT stations and shops so your never too far away from the action. Breakfast was provided during our stay and it was a decent assortment, something to keep most happy, the coffee was pretty good too. Will definitely stay here again next time.

The location is excellent. Steps away from shopping, dining, bus stops, taxi stand, and subway (MRT) station. The room is a little small, but well equipped. Beds are comfortable and housekeeping was done daily.

Nice room, clean, quiet. Very strategic, good location. Close to shopping malls, within walking distance to Mount E. Limited menu of breakfast, I wish they provided more variant of fruits and vegetables. The room price is slightly higher. For the sake of convenience, yes I would like to be back 🤗

I enjoyed my 10days stay at this hotel. Had small bumps on payment issue and the front desk staffs are really helpful and being so patience keeping up with me and my issues. 10/10 to the team esp. NAQIAH. Breakfast was good too. Chef Ram did well serving us a very good breakfast with various options to choose for. I will definitely come back again.

We previously stayed at this property prior to the covid pandemic over two years ago and have always thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, This time we stayed 10 days and have to thank so many staff here that made our stay so pleasant. From the front desk to Michelle ( Mika ) and Patrick who would because of one enquiry we made and from then onwards would greet us with our names each time we meet. To the kitchen staff with the wonderful breakfast spread each morning, the head chef Ram who would make sure everything is in order and greet guests each morning. Wanted eggs cooked different from the menu and he would gladly obliged one morning, to all his team particularly to Wang who exudes great personality and so happy each morning clearing the plates and making sure we were satisfied with the breakfast. Finally to the housekeeping team on our level ( Tina ) who would ensure we were comfortable in our rooms. Being an IHG Gold Elite member since 2011, being treated so well by all hotels under this banner ensures members keep coming back.

Make no mistake that this hotel is basic, at best. I chose it for the central location, which gets 5 stars, as we had not been in Singapore for 18 years. Breakfast was disappointing, tasteless and unhealthy and it was a fight with the masses to get a table. A few of the front desk team were great (eg Gerald). Had a peculiar exchange with a young lady at the desk before we departed yesterday for the UK. I asked if the hotel had an airport shuttle.. instead of just answering the question and saying "no", her subsequent remarks suggested I was after a free ride and she actually said "I would suggest you call a cab yourself" - as if this wasn't obvious. Disappointing for sure.

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights . Excellent experience from check in till checkout. All staff were very friendly , welcoming and made me feel at home. They were always courteous and helpful. Simple spread at the breakfast buffet but no lack in quality or taste. The chef was always checking on the food and making sure it was well stocked. The rooms were clean cosy comfortable and was cleaned daily. Value for money stay here in this holiday inn express. Thank you everyone and job well done to the operations staff.
