Can't tell you how much I love this hotel. Immaculate rooms with actual balconies that you have access to, bacon at breakfast, the sumptuous pork stomach soup, various types of coffee served at breakfast and not to mention the spread at the breakfast buffet, I will definitely be only coming back to this hotel the next time I'm in Singapore. Service is top-notch too.

First time here for wedding celebrations lunch. Surprisingly food is a great spread of excellent, sumptuous and good food. Though its only 6 spread of wedding lunch but each dish was offered in such good and high class spread. Besides, it nicely offered , every dish is extremely good and nice. Everyone there love the food and give them a thumb up. Pricing also quite reasonable in view of its high class presentation. We are planning to celebrate our 70yrs old here in 2 yrs time. Price may be slightly high but with the standard of food presented its worth the price. You guys are strongly recommended to try them yourself....I managed to take 1 of the dishes - lobster noodles. Every dish is being served individually.....

Excellent experience at this hotel. The rooms are cleaned, the bathroom is good, and I just could have a door to close totally the shower place, because the floor got completely wet. The amenities are great and smell very nice! The beds are comfortable, and the ac works well. The breakfast is great as well, just the dinner could have occidental options for American people. I loved my stay here!

Very very tired rooms....apparently this totel has had some renovations but I can assure you that my room definitely wasn't renovated. My husband who is a corporate travel manager booked my room and it's sad that our room was so old and tired that sadly he will go by my review and this hotel definitely "won't" be used for any of his clients visiting Singapore sadly. Wish we'd have thought to ask at booking if we were getting a very old or renovated room....didn't think we would have to to be honest, when the website says newly renovated that's what I presumed that's what we'd get!!. The buffet breakfast was cold and wasn't replenished from 9.30 even though scrambled egg and baked beans were empty. Infact as we sat down we were approached by a lady who said we are closing soon...with 30 minutes to go. Read the room, if 27 odd people walk in with 30 minutes to go they have paid for a hot breakfast and food should be replenished accordingly.

Excellent location. Good food. Special mention to Praba & Joshua who made our stay even more memorable. They helped with local information and movement. Helping us with the tram system. Well done gents and thank you so much

A very disappointing experience. Our room for a 4 star hotel was very underwhelming. A very small dated bathroom, stains on the floor, a balcony you can't use and a door that doesn't shut properly. As for service, I regularly tried to call reception with no answer and when they did answer no one knew what was going on. As a exec who travels extensively across APAC this hotel is just one big disappointment. It's only saving grace is the location

I have stayed at Kings Copthorne several times before and although the hotel is not the most modern it has always been a reasonable stay with a nice outlook. This time however I was put in room 702 which is at the back of the hotel and the view is mainly of the air conditioning units and generators which is not great. The room was also next to where the service staff work on the floor and was very noisy. Internet was not reliable and I had to go down to reception more than once to get fixed. Maids button for cleaning room switched itself off within a minute of turning on making it impossible for the staff to know when to clean the room. Most likely won’t go back as other hotels I have stayed in Singapore previously offered better value

One of the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed, when I checked in (around 6pm) the hotel couldn’t give me a room and said the the room is still being cleaned. I waited for almost 2 hours and they finally gave me a room. The breakfast, lunch and dinner’s menu are the same everyday, the hotel could’ve put more effort into changing the menu. There’s one occasion when I decided to take a plate of fruits from the dinner buffet which I paid for back to my hotel room however the staff told me I’m not allowed to do that. All the amenities in the hotel room are pretty basic, nothing special, the room design and furnitures look pretty dated.

It was an wedding banquet event. The banquet manager Mr Ivan was very helpful. He has great leadership. The service and experience with Copthorne King was enjoyable. Food was excellent! My guests have all given great review for the food and experience. Well done and keep it up! Will intro my friends for such great hotel and their service performance!

Stayed here on business for 2 days, 18th till 20th Jul 2022. Reception staff is arrogant with no courtesy at all. Rooms were congested (tower wing). House keeping was disorganised, rooms were cleaned in early afternoon but towels were replaced only late evening...Very limited choices at the resturant if you are looking for Continental or Indian cuisine...Only plus point is location, walkable distance from Clarke Quay.

No coffee available before 7 am. There are many expats staying here that are awake well before 7 - at 6:30 am when I asked if I could get coffee I was told the gas station across the street served coffee at this time. They use automated coffee machines, the time you get coffee doesn’t matter but their hotel policy states that they open breakfast at 7 and not sooner.

I was blessed with an upgrade to the suite and it was an excellent stay at Copthorne King's Hotel on Havelock. The service at front desk was fast an efficient. Do note that the hotel was renovated in the recent years, so they are pleasantly clean and new. The bathtub was a beautiful touch on top of a shower. We had issues with our AC that night, but they have a technician on duty 24/7 who promptly arrived to fix the issue. The breakfast buffet was average, but definitely substantial with their variety and you can find something to fill your tummy with :) better than some others I've tried. This hotel is a short walk to Robertson Quay, and you can stroll around the area for food, drinks and just chill out. Overall an amazing experience and kudos to the Hotel and the team!

Is a 3D 2N stay with a total bill of 500plus. This is a price which most hotel can offered. The room interior are very old. Thick 42 inches TV. Seem like is those 20yrs TV with very thick side. TV image flicking just like the old type using antenna. When to use the steam bath. Controller dropped from the wall and hanging and with a moldy smell. Terrible hotel with such a high price to pay. Not worth at all Went for their breakfast and they have dirty bowls on the tables for customer.

They billed me incorrectly and forgot the late check out twice but they fixed that. However, the TV in the room is the worst ever in sound and picture. Also, pool and parking area under renovations so will be down for awhile. Great for sleeping only.

Went there a couple of times, to both the Cantonese and Penang food restaurants. Overall, service at both restaurants were good. Food were tasty, only at times, a bit in the salty side. Food was delicious and authentic in general. Still recommended A rather old hotel, but very well maintained and nice cozy touch.

Located centrally in a good surrounding. All the famous attractions are at walking distance or nearby. Rooms as usual are tight in space. The hotel has a large buffet spread but most of the stuff gets repeated on a daily basis.

We recently had our wedding lunch banquet in Copthorne King’s. Many thanks to Ivan’s constant attention and support throughout the entire preparation phase and Nick with Ah Lim during the actual day for the food coordination, march-in and audio video coordination. We had good feedback from our guests on the delicious food. Overall, it was a happy and memorable event for us and our guests.

We made our 1st anniversary trip to Singapore in 2009 and after deep search, opted for Copthorne kings hotel which was a 4 star property and it stood on top of our expectations. The location, Ambience, food, hospitality, security and the staff made our stay comfortable. It must have grown much better as we couldn't get an opportunity to visit it again however it remains in our preferred list, if any when planning a next visit to Singapore.

Stayed in signature room but Air con not working. Good Size Room and comfy. Served by Ms AYE during breakfast, her attitude was bad and refuse to let us in for breakfast. Talked to manager Mr Rafle but he said nothing can be done for Ms AYE attitude problem. Seeking management response

Nice hotel. Nice view. It took me 4 attempts to get door open, to get to balcony to see the view, security need to do it. Worse part is door saddle in the bathroom is a tripping hazard, banged my nail at it, still black 2 month after, same with my mom. watch out for you toe nails. Pool at the back of hotel is nice. Breakfast is nice.

Nice hotel. A few peculiarities including you can’t have cheese in the bar with a glass of wine , but it’s available in the adjoining buffet. Check-in was much more time consuming than it should be. Close proximity to the river and the staff are friendly and rooms are good.

This place is really good and the food is pretty decent which is included your stay. But you can order a variety of food if you like and enjoy your stay in this premium hotel. This is located near Chinatown and you can access diffrent tourist attractions within walking distance.

Recently stayed at the Copthorne Kings Hotel while on a business trip to Singapore. All in all, it was adequate, but I think categorizing it as a 4-star hotel is a bit of a stretch. The room I had was quite old. The paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom, the metal fixtures in the bathtub were rusted, and there was a prominent musty/mildew smell. That said, the staff were very friendly and the location is good. If you were to find this hotel available for a very good rate, it's potentially worth it.

Great experience there overall... the managers were all good and professional in handling matters. The stay was very good as well. Lovely surroundings for a 4 star hotel.

Might be nicer if the balcony doors were easier to open. Most receptionists are nice but a couple of the blokes are downright surly. Cocktail bar is hideously expensive and lacks variety (I hope you like whiskey) but Mei, the bartender, is a sweetheart.

Had a corporate dinner at Tien court marquis room. The space of the room is suitable and comfortable for all. Service from the banquet staff is good. Overall, food is delicious especially the lotus rice leaf and yam paste (solely based on my preference). Thanks Ivan for coordinating with me throughout the process, appreciate it!

Really cool hotel, smells great when you walk in. The rooms are pretty good. Some of the bathrooms are like slipping hazard death traps. Wifi is good, balcony is cool. The really good part is the buffet. Lunch and breakfast were VERY good for hotel food. Dumplings and lentil curry was amazing. 🥴🤤🥴🤤

A good hotel, friendly staff, and location are also good. However, the fire alarm went off at night, and the outside doors where locked. There was no information given, people where panicking, this lasted a good hour and was allegedly caused by a burglary. So should you choose to stay here, there is a "break in case of emergency" plate under the door latch.

I recently stayed at an exceptional hotel that exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The rooms were tastefully decorated, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable retreat. The hotel's amenities, from the fitness center to the on-site restaurant, added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers seeking a blend of luxury and personalized service.

Good hotel and in very convenient location, however, it has passed its glory days, whilst lobby, restaurant and other public places are in reasonably good condition and kept in order, the rooms are aging and more maintenance/renovation required, especially in bathrooms. Breakfast is ok, but lunch and dinner are mostly Chinese food which might be ok for some, but I had to go out for dinner because lunch left me very hungry and I have not given any more chances to the food they provide. Review based on 2 or 3 stays in this hotel.

Stayed 3nts here in a deluxe king room on floor 5. Nice to have a balcony but room was smallest I have stayed in and bathroom was tiny. Not the cleanest either. Musty smell on floor 5 corridour but rest of hotel smelt ok. Dinner choices were a bit limited for westerners. Breakfast ok. Lots of noise from unruly children at both lunch and dinner on last day. Was let down on departure when i was promised I didnt need to book taxi beforehand but then at 5am they struggled to get one. Never EVER known a hotel that didnt have limousines/taxis to ring straight away. While waiting for him to sort a taxi, several girls of the night frequented the hotel. Very dissapointing end to our visit.

Pleasant hotel. Staff especially when having breakfast attentive. Choice of breakfast varied in that there are many types of guests to cater for. Our room was reasonable. My only comment would be that they should be checked more thoroughly before guests arrive and allocation is made because the tops of our curtains(drapes) were rather off the tapes and did not run so smoothly when opened and closed. Think the staff at the reception desk seemed a bit unsure when asked questions but very polite. The hotel was clean and foyer well presented. Staff at the desk by the main doors were also very polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Copthorne King's Hotel.

  • 1/5 Hasyim I. 9 months ago on Google
Front desk was courteous however hotel seems to be too strict on checking in and out policies. Could at least offer guests other alternatives if late check out was not possible. When we came to check in after 3.30pm, the technicians came to fix the leaking sink (perhaps to be completed before check in? As we pre checked in around 12pm). For the balcony, the door requires guests to sign an indemnity for safety issues, but during check in, we were not told. So honestly, a good sized room but still too shabby and old. Just. One timer hotel. =)

This was our second stay at this hotel after pandemic. It’s in a fantastic location with main attraction places well within walking distance. Hotel staff's are so friendly and helpful - special mention of course to Mr Krishna the Security Concierge Officer who is charming, knowledgeable, very helpful and downright hilarious. We had a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back.

One of the older hotels in Singapore. Its getting a little run down. Had a corner room which had a nice balcony facing the pool. Its very noisy due to the airconditioning machinery at the back next to the pool. The windows are not double glazed. Not much of a view. Small bathroom and the hot water always takes some time to flow thru. Food is average. Tried both the Chinese restaurant buffet and breakfast in the local food restaurant. Could be better for the price.

Good location but parking could be overly expensive. Service - I don't think there was anyone to help us with our luggage when we arrived. the security guard got us a trolley to help ourselves with our luggage. Staff was not really friendly when we were checking in. We were shocked upon checking into our rooms. Furniture and overall vibes in the room looked really tired. Taps in the shower were really old, and we can't seem to have water of the correct temperature (either too cold or too warm). The shower curtains has some marks, and again looked very old. We also saw some ants in the toilet and on our bed. Overall a below satisfactory stay, and wouldn't recommend, as there are much nicer hotels around that area for the same price.

Lovely stay at this hotel made better by the amazing Bell Boy, Joshua. He was very helpful to assist us with you baggage and cab service while we are juggling with our toddler. Rooms could be better as the AC was stuck on a certain temp and the mini fridge was not working.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in and arguably the worst in its class in Singapore. I requested for king and twin beds in my two rooms one month before my arrival and confirmed the same 4 days ahead of my check in date. However, they gave us queen rooms at check-in and claimed that they are fully booked and could not meet our request. Throughout the stay, everything from the breakfast to housekeeping and front office staff was disappointing. The bathroom shower did not work and the taps kept leaking. We complained thrice and the plumber just came to check twice and left saying that he would fix it soon. Throughout our six days stay it was not fixed. The front office staff was not helpful at all and even though we had an emergency they told us there was no way they could help us. They refused to allow us to checkout at 2PM and told us we had to leave at 11AM as the hotel was fully booked. However, people kept checking out late after us without any problems. This is by far the worst hotel in Singapore and they really need a overhaul.

Stayed 2 nights. Great breakfast & buffet lunch. Good location to access the sights. Air con in room a bit cold, we kept turning it off then back on when it got a bit warm. Comfy bed/ pillows. Bathroom adequate but sink unit far too big, made the room cramped.

Totally ok. But when we check in. The front desk told us overbook. My check in date 23/06. I booked from Agoda in 20/06. So hope the hotel can fix it The interior of the room is Old English style, very unique, there is a balcony, the room is OK, there is a TV, the plug is at the end of the bed, the two sides of the bed are not

Worst hotel, I have ever experienced. Service was pathetic. AC was not working, rooms were stinking. Neither proper Bell boy service nor average hospitality of the front office staff. I would recommend every one not to book rooms there. Overall Pathetic experience.

The fact that this hotel is listed as a 4-star hotel is laughable; it's a 3-star at most. We had just come from Japan where we were staying in 3-star accomodations that were much better than what the Copthorne offered. The room itself was large, however the hotel photos made the room look more brighter and newer than it actually was. The bed and chaise were comfortable, but the bathroom was very, very dated. It doesn't look like it's been updated in decades and certainly did not match anything shown online. And the balcony view they tout in their hotel webpage, nothing like what they say it's like, especially if having rusty railings is appealing. Definitely would think about staying somewhere else next time.

Absolutely disgusting place ! No greetings upon arrival, check in took super long, the bathtub was dirty , there was strains of hair on the tub . The refrigerator was cold and upon complaining again they claim its just a chiller so it can't get cold only chilled . A bucket of ice was $6! Despite paying $271 for a night ! The place states it is a smoke-free area but there were cigarette butt in the balcony!Terrible place to stay , save your cash and please go elsewhere!

We just held our wedding recently at the hotel on 8 July and our Coordinator/Senior Sales Manager was Ivan. We would like to thank Ivan for making our wedding night enjoyable and memorable for us as well as our guests. ❤️ He was efficient and very attentive to all our needs and answer our enquiries promptly from the beginning to the end of preparation. Banquet manager Joseph and the entire team has done a very good job in making sure the banquet runs smoothly. Our guests also enjoyed the dinner too. 😊 We are glad that we have chosen Copthorne King Hotel Singapore for our wedding, the pre and post wedding service was excellent. We would highly recommend Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore as a wedding venue. Once again, thank you Ivan, Joseph and team. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Our wedding date is actually a very popular date (27 May), and apparently many couples chosen this day in 2023. However, we are fast to have chosen our venue since March 2022, to be at Copthorne Kings Hotel over many of the other nearby hotels around the vicinity. In particular, we wanted the best for our food for all of guests and an enjoyable experience with lovely ambiance. Overall, it fits to what we actually wanted and it is value for money. We are very honoured to be served by Mr Ivan Tan and CKS team, who have several years of experiences in handling many wedding or big events. Under his care, we can fully entrust him to run the show well. CKS team even warm up the food for us, and provide us a complimentary upgrade to stay at the bridal suite for a night. And we are truly truly grateful for the wonderful experience! We truly recommend couples who are looking at decent hotel to host your big day, you could consider this wonderful place and CKS team to trust on! ❤️

I thought the building was a bit old, but that has its charm too. Everything in the room was working, the hot water was hot, and the air-conditioning was sufficiently cold. Conveniently located nearby Havelock MRT, as well as many food and drink options. We brought oysters that needed to be kept frozen until the moment they are to be eaten, and the reception very kindly accommodated. All in all, a pleasant stay!

Nice hotel. It's far from most attractions. The hotel is lovely in a classic, elegant feeling, but there are things that need an upgrade. Like bathrooms. I also found breakfast not a high quality.
