An honest review from a guest in the 32-40 age group. This hotel is beautiful and super comfortable, however the experience left a lot to be desired. We stayed here for four nights on part of our honeymoon, and while the room was amazing, the staff experience ranged from odd to uncomfortable. Let’s be short - the staff here are professional and kind, but the target audience is 60+ and British. When you’re a younger guest, the staff do not recognize you as a guest - they recognize you as a tourist coming to Long Bar or to take pictures on the grounds. At a moderate sized 5-star hotel, I’d expect the staff to at least recognize the faces of their guests. There were too many times we were greeted with apprehension like we were just part of the tourist masses that constantly roam the open grounds. The other weird piece, we had to request turn down service every night, otherwise it wasn’t done (they also forgot one night we asked). Never been to a 4 or 5 star hotel where that wasn’t just the unspoken expectation. Don’t get me wrong, my wife and I are easy going Californians, but this just felt tense the whole time. Maybe look elsewhere if you are in our age group and want to enjoy this super cool city! The final straw was the bait and switch at the spa. My wife was quoted $70 for a manicure and charged $280 at checkout. Classy place…

This review is for the Long Bar at Raffles. Come for the classic Singapore Sling. Sure, they serve other drinks. But nobody is there for other drinks. Be aware that they do not serve food. You get a bowl of peanuts with your cocktails, but that is all. It is never crowded inside. They throttle the number of people that can be in the establishment pretty nicely. There's never standing at the bar. If there's not a seat at a table or at the bar, you are waiting in line outside. The two times that I have been there, I never waited outside more than 15 or 20 minutes. Also be aware that your Singapore Sling is going to set you back almost $40. If you want the glass, that's going to set you back another $30, and you can't buy it at the bar. You will need to go back during the day when the Raffles Boutique, in the hotel, is open. But it's iconic. You kind of have to do this if you are visiting Singapore!

Our stay at Raffles was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! The grounds itself are so beautiful and it’s located in a fantastic spot in the city. Just a short walk to the underground station, even close to nearby malls and restaurants. The colonial design of the hotel is very rare to see nowadays and walking through there felt like I was walking in history but with modern touches. From the moment we arrived, we felt very taken care of, the staff was AMAZING! And even though we didn’t use our butler as much they still insisted they come by the night of our late night flight to drop off some coffee and chocolates for us which was a great touch and much appreciated. Breakfast at the Tiffin Room was probably the most favorite part of my day honestly. Everything on the menu was so delicious and perfectly cooked every time and on top of that eating with real silver flatware?! We love it. Definitely have to go to Long Bar and have a Singapore Sling, or any other cocktail- it’s a really cool vibe in there. There's another cute bar that’s in the courtyard of the hotel and they’ve got some delicious bites as well to try out while you’re enjoying the weather. I really did enjoy staying at this hotel and the next time I visit Singapore I would love to stay here again!

A fabulous hotel with a unique history, albeit it has been rebuilt twice. A star attraction when visiting Singapore if not to just enjoy a Singapore Sling, which it must be said, is probably not quite like the original served decades ago. But that's the changing world for you. Raffles is a hotel that displays Colonial style & elegance at its best, but with the rapidly changing world of hotels it's lost its edge a bit. There are better, more interesting and certainly more stylish options in Singapore now, namely The Fullerton and the Mandarin Oriental being just two examples.

Had a lovely Singapore sling in the Long Bar. The hotel has been done up over the last few years and is really beautiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dress code is smart/casual. No beach attire. Men can wear shorts

Even if you don't stay here it is worth a visit and a.stroll through. beautiful buildings with lovely staff who were so helpful. Long Bar is a must go to for their Singapore Sling, where the drink was invented!

Timeless Elegance: A Refined Escape at Raffles Singapore Accommodation: Nestled in the heart of Singapore, my stay at Raffles was elevated by the charm of the Palm Court Suite. Priced at Rp35,493,770 per night, the suite epitomizes timeless elegance. With a harmonious blend of colonial aesthetics and modern comforts, the spacious interiors and luxurious amenities provide a haven of tranquility. Service: Raffles Singapore is synonymous with exceptional service, and my stay was no exception. The staff's commitment to delivering a personalized experience was evident in every interaction, from a seamless check-in to attentive concierge services. The legendary Raffles service added an extra layer of refinement to my stay. Cuisine: The dining experience at Raffles is nothing short of extraordinary. From the iconic Singapore Sling at the Long Bar to the culinary delights at the various dining venues, the gastronomic journey was a celebration of flavors. The blend of local and international cuisines showcased the culinary expertise that defines the Raffles experience. Wellness and Activities: Raffles Singapore goes beyond being a hotel; it's a destination in itself. The wellness facilities, including the Raffles Spa, offered a retreat within a retreat. Thoughtfully curated activities, both within the hotel and in collaboration with the vibrant city, ensured a holistic and enriching stay. Ambiance and Design: The ambiance at Raffles Singapore is steeped in history and sophistication. The colonial-inspired architecture, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, creates an atmosphere of refined luxury. The Palm Court Suite, in particular, embodies a sense of opulence and serenity, making it a fitting sanctuary in the heart of the city. Overall Value: Paying Rp35,493,770 per night for the Palm Court Suite at Raffles Singapore is an investment in an experience that transcends traditional accommodation. The historical significance, coupled with the impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and luxurious ambiance, makes Raffles Singapore not just a hotel but a destination where time stands still, and every moment is a celebration of refined living.

I have stayed at this hotel on my birthday. This hotel made me feel that I am in history. When I arrived, They were serving Signature cocktail "Singapore Sling cocktail" The hotel staff service was amazing. and so many celebrities visited this hotel. There are Pictures of Michael Jackson, British royal family, George W Bush etc.. I recommend the afternoon tea at this hotel. There is Victorian architecture and The sweets has sophisticated taste. It's like a dream at this hotel.

We had afternoon tea here which was amazing and definitely worth the price. Excellent food, faultless service by professional staff. We then visited the Long Bar for cocktails which were superb. You can't visit Singapore without going here!!

On our bucket list to visit and experience the Long Room. It would be better called the long queue. I was surprised how shabby the hotel was for a 5 star. We then tried to get a coffee in the garden and were met by an unhelpful staff member who told us there were no tables because they had a large booking. Then we tried the coffee shop and were asked to wait for a table to get cleaned. Fifteen minutes later, the waiter came back and complained that my wife's wheelchair was blocking the way when it was him that asked us to wait there. He had taken all that time and had not sorted a table. The place was not even busy!!!!! Never 5 star service. A place living on its reputation. A very big disappointment.

This review is regarding a wedding at Raffles Hotel's Jubilee Ballroom. We held a wedding at Raffles Hotel sometime last month based on a wedding package for the reception to be at the Jubilee Ballroom. Everything about the wedding from the food to the venue was fantastic. However, Shane Tan (who was the main contact of liaison for all wedding matters) simply had very poor service, was rude and irresponsible. When we sent him queries via email, he was irresponsive and did not reply our emails. Even when he did (after repeatedly emailing him on the same queries), it was always a few days late. What made it worse was that during the day before the wedding, we again contacted him to ask for confirmation that everything is in order for the wedding reception the following day. Again, he went radio silent and did not respond. Very poor service from a supposed 5 star wedding hotel venue, and for the top dollar we are paying to host a wedding reception at Raffles Hotel. Whenever we had small requests, he would also always tell us off that "other couples do it this way" in a really condescending manner. A wedding is supposed to be a special moment for the couple and there is no reason why Shane should keep telling us to conform with how other couples run the wedding. The best part is - the cheek of him to suddenly act all friendly and warm during the wedding reception itself, asking us how we found the service and all (although it was another manager who managed the reception service during the day who did a great job), hoping to get a red packet from us. What a shame and embarrassment really.

We had afternoon tea at Raffles last Friday and I was so disappointed with it. We were really looking forward to it. Tea is served in the hotel lobby on the ground floor. The waiter was friendly and polite. We started with Champagne- served in a wine glass rather than a champagne flute. I was expecting leaf tea for a supposedly 5* experience but instead it was a tea bag! No refill was offered. The sandwiches came out with the cakes but then the waiter put three scones on the same plate we were using for sandwiches- no clean knife was provided. The jam and cream were so small, hardly enough for one person let alone two. We went outside to get some air and the waiter chased me to settle the bill first even though we had not finished. Not a patch on Afternoon Tea in top London hotels. Very much over rated.

With more than a century of history that dates back to 1887, Raffles Singapore was first gazetted as a national monument in 1987. A national icon and a destination in its own right, the Grand Dame has been delicately preserved to retain her old world charm and lovingly conserved for future generations. one of the few remaining great 19th century hotels in the world. Fantastic service with friendly smiles and banter The drinks were expensive, but they were the best Singapore Slings in the whole city. Wonderful hotel and great, friendly service. The overall ambience and atmosphere in the room were amazing. The food was sumptuous and mouthwatering, paired with very polite staff.

We arrived at Raffles Hotel to stay for 1 night only as a special treat for my wife’s birthday. The hotel is fabulous & lives up to its international reputation, everything is about the place is first class & nothing is too much bother for the staff. We had the special seasonal afternoon tea, boy was this something else. Really special for both of us!

Beautiful atmosphere and service great, but unfortunately for SGD$104, I was hoping for more quality in the food. Sandwiches are not bad, but there are too many sweet and extremely rich desserts on the tier. I was hoping for some hot savouries to be included. Scones jam and clotted cream nice but not the best scones I've tried. A little stale. The single savoury scone that was presented had no butter on offer, which, again, was expecting more. Overall, this experience was on my bucket list, and I can now say I've done it. There is no need to try again. Plenty of other places offer better value and better choices. Oh, and don't try and enter grand foyer prior to tea time, your certainly not welcome. The doorman is a stickler for early arrivals and will send you away.

Christmas Day afternoon tea. My friend and I was desperate to find something festive to do Christmas Day to take the chill off missing Christmas away from our family’s due to being in Singapore for work. We came across the raffles afternoon tea and thought it looked a little pricey but worth more than happy to pay it because “it must be amazing at that price” we had both heard such amazing reviews of the place and we were both so excited to spend our Christmas at Raffles. Everything from start to finish was a huge disappointment. I felt like our table had been added in at the side out the way, we was placed behind a plant in the corner of the room. Couldn’t see a thing, it was almost like the were hiding us. The tea didn’t come until 30 minutes after we was presented our sandwiches. Due to the position we was placed it was impossible to get any waiter’s attention I kept having to get up and stand and wait for a waiter at the till to ask for tea. The sandwiches were wet almost like something had been spilt all over them saturating the bread leaving it soggy. I would have brought this to the attention of the waiters had they not been too busy on their phones and impossible to get the attention of. We were both that upset by the experience neither of us felt like finishing the afternoon tea and just wanted to leave and go to bed. This was the worst experience I’ve had going to an afternoon tea and I expected so much better from raffles. Very expensive mistake

Raffles Hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels in Singapore situated at Centre of the city very well connected with all the major public transportation. Most of the tourist attractions are just a walk away from the hotel. The hotel is Designed in a boutique form Palm suite is good option. This hotel is a perfect example of a luxury.

My one-night stay at Raffles Hotel Singapore was a wonderful experience. From the moment I stepped into the iconic lobby, I was transported to a world of timeless elegance and unparalleled luxury. Cocktails at the Long Bar were a true highlight of my stay. Sipping on the legendary Singapore Sling in the very place where it was first created was a privilege I won't forget. The ambiance, the history, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the experience made it truly memorable. Despite my short stay, the service and quality at Raffles Hotel Singapore were so captivating that they've left me yearning for a return visit. The addictive blend of warm hospitality, attention to detail, and luxurious surroundings makes it clear why Raffles is more than just a hotel – it's an unforgettable experience that beckons you to come back for more.

Our afternoon tea experience was extremely underwhelming. Having had afternoon team in a number of 5 star high end hotels around the world I have to say that I was really hoping for more. The service here was very mediocre. Staff had mobile phones in their hands on display. No offer of more sandwiches, tea or champagne. The attentiveness just wasn't there. The scones were offerred with very little cream, we had to ask for more. The food.... Sandwiches were OK, I think they'd been sat there all day to be honest and one of the bits of salmon did not look OK. The cakes were lovely and the scores were really good. After paying the £205 bill we went for a drink in the hotel bar. The bar was nice but there was no atmosphere. We moved on to the long bar to grab a singapore sling and unfortunately this tourist trap bar was just not for us. 1 drink and out. Such a shame and the experience was a costly one at that.

So sad I first stayed at Raffles in 1984. Tried to have breakfast there as couldn't justify $1800/night and turned away. Now making up for it at the Park Royal, excellent service, amazing 👏 food and happy to take my lunch money.

Stopped here to have a Singapore Sling. Absolutely fantastic!! Make a stop to the 'Long Bar' and have a Singapore Sling! The hotel itself and absolute gorgeous! The staff as very kind and professional. We did not see a room, but would absolutely stay here in another trip, based on what we experienced as a guest just stopping in for some A/C and a drink!

It was our second visit to Raffles, once at the ‘old’ hotel and this one in the recently refurbished version. As expected, Raffles is the pinnacle of discrete luxury, attention to detail and unparalleled customer service. We were remembered from our visit ten years ago and presented with charming gifts reminding us of that time. Our butler Allen embodied the spirit of the building and couldn’t have been more helpful in meeting our needs. My only very small complaint about this iconic hotel was being served tea using a teabag rather than leafed tea in a manner befitting its its reputation for providing its residents with the best the hospitality industry has to offer. But, there is no doubt we will return to this grand old dame as often as we are able.

We had a fantastic four night stay at the Raffles Singapore. The whole team is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The resident historian Leslie provided lots of interesting information about the rich history of the hotel. Our Courtyard Suite was spacey, newly renovated but still had the charming colonial style character. Just like back in the days, Raffles is the place to stay when you come to Singapore.

I stayed at Raffles Singapore recently for the first time since the renovation and Covid... WOW! Singapore's Grand Dame is grander than ever, and the service and attention to detail as impeccable as ever. We took breakfast in the Tiffin Room each morning, frequented the Raffles Spa and Courtyard Bar throughout our stay, and made use of the limousine transfer service (which was seamless in spite of delayed flights); wherever we were, whoever we dealt with - the service we experienced was of the highest standards. A true 5-star experience.

The breakfast buffet at the Raffles Hotel was the most beautiful and perfect experience of my life. Additionally, the Raffles Hotel left me with another impression. I was extremely embarrassed to discover that I had lost my wallet while leaving the hotel for sightseeing. I filed a report at the police station and received a call from Raffles. A fellow hotel guest had found my wallet and kindly returned it to the hotel. The hotel staff checked the receipt inside the wallet, found my cellphone number, and contacted me. I would like to express my gratitude to the guest for finding and returning my wallet and also to the exceptional hotel staff.

Filled with an opulence of the past yet renovated with a touch of modern class, it felt like we went back into history yet with the present day technology and comfort. The butlers were precise and thoughtful in ensuring we had an amazing experience and pretty much everything you’d expect from a 5Star hotel. Beautiful venues for events at every turn of the property. The breakfast at the tiffin room was splendid and high tea was really good as well.

First built as a privately-owned beach house in the 1830s, this long-standing property was converted into a hotel in 1887 by Armenian hoteliers the Sarkies Brothers. The years have seen various expansions and renovations that have turned the original 10-room building into the sprawling, grand edifice you see today. It closed from December 2017 for phase 3 of their three-phase restoration project, and reopens in mid-2019.

If you love opulence, mixed with rich colonial history, five star service, Raffles Hotel is one of the best in the world! English novelist William Somerset Maugham stayed here and wrote abound it too. Many Australian service men enjoyed this the Long Bar during the war. Famous for the Singapore Sling, the Long Bar is an experience you must have! Enjoy the unusual custom of eating peanuts and throwing the peanut shell on the floor! Try a yard glass of beer! Our Raffles Hotel Singapore visit, though brief, was a sensory delight. Beyond its historic allure, the hotel's shopping arcade is a treasure trove. Elegant boutiques offered a curated selection of luxury items, blending classic and contemporary styles. This added dimension heightened our overall experience, making Raffles a complete destination for indulgence and sophistication.

A must for tourists. You can't book the long bar so be prepared to queue. Nice relaxed atmosphere inside. All cocktails superb. Try the Singapore Sling if you wish but all cocktails brilliantly mixed. If you have a nut allergy beware. All tables given a bag of peanuts and shells traditionally thrown on the floor.

A fairly large party of us went for Christmas tea in the lobby followed by happy hour drinks at the long bar. The service for the high tea was wonderful! The staff were attentive and very helpful. Unfortunately it ended there. The wait staff at the long bar were rude and a little aggressive. One member of our party wished to change her cocktail and it appeared to be very much a problem from the waiters. They were argumentative and very customer unfriendly. Can't say we will be rushing back. But thankfully we were still able to have a great time.

The Raffles Singapore went above and beyond on our recent stay, which was for a special occasion. From upgrading our room, to unexpected gifts, the generosity and level of service provided by the Raffles was amazing and like nothing we had ever experienced before at other luxury hotels. All of the staff were friendly and professional and the hotel itself, including the rooms, the restaurants and the pool area are amazing. Our room was large, clean and luxurious. The hotel also offered a relaxing and peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle that is Singapore. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

A Birthday Celebration for my husband and an Engagement Party for my daughter and son-in-law. Our Afternoon Tea at the Raffles was superb. Such elegance, with all the trimmings of yesteryear but with a vibrant twist of current trendy staff. The tea was exceptional the atmosphere amazing, the harpist played current music. I stayed here once when the Raffles turned 100. It never disappoints. Refinement, curtesy and attention to detail. Wow…It blew the kids away. Thank you all for such a wonderful day.

One word for this place, “Class”. Amazing surroundings, very peaceful considering it’s location and stunning views of the grounds and halls within. Managed to tick off the compulsory “Singapore Sling” at the long bar which wasn’t very long a wait (10 mins). Great experience and will return again to sample the afternoon tea.

The moment one steps foot inside Singapore Raffles, you are greeted by a harmonious blend of history and contemporary luxury. From the meticulously preserved colonial architecture to the opulent interior design, every aspect of Singapore Raffles exudes charm and sophistication. The impeccable service provided by your attentive and courteous staff is truly commendable. Each and every individual I have encountered at Singapore Raffles has gone above and beyond to ensure that my stay is nothing short of extraordinary. It is this level of commitment and dedication that sets Singapore Raffles apart from other luxury hotels.

Probably an essential stop when visiting Singapore though $39 + tax for a Singapore Sling was a bit keen even as good as it was. *Note* you will likely find your self in a 12minute + wait to wet your whistle, the Long Bar is very popular.

Beautiful place with great heritage! I took my Canadian friends who visited me in Singapore there. He wanted to try the famous Singapore Sling, but we met with long queue!!! We just made do with a cup of coffee eventually!

Beautiful heritage hotel, the Grand Dame Hotel is marvellous, and the service quality is excellent. Every guest is considered a resident of Raffles Hotel! Exclusive private history tour for residents at Raffles Hotel. We had the most wonderful time with Resident Historian, Mr Roslee. Thank you for a memorable staycation at Raffles Hotel.

We had tried twice previously to stay here. Once it was being refurbished and the other time Covid struck! We finally managed to stay last week. It was magical from the time we arrived till the time we left. Well worth treating yourself.

Fabulous place, steep in history. I love the court yard gardens, the ornate cast iron fountain and the Singapore Sling (of course!).

One of two best hotels we have ever stayed at in the world; if not the best. Staff were amazing. So customer-centric. Didnt just answer questions, thought about what was needed and then delivered beyond expectations. Food in all restaurants was fabulous. Drinks a little pricey. Rooms and facilities were exquisite. Thank you team. See you again soon.

Truly the grand same of Singapore. The service is exemplary, the settings pure luxury. This building has me coming back time and again. Thank you Raffles.

Absolutely the best service one can get in a hotel. The architecture is also one of a kind. This place should be a national treasure.

Iconic with excellent staff and great proximity. Despite adverse conditions during the pandemic the management and staff are doing their best to keep things pleasant and operational.

A wonderful experience, a little bit of the elegance of the past. The classic high tea was scrumptious and the staff were professional. One small annoyance ..... under our table the carpet was covered in crumbs from a past seating. I think this should have been noticed and cleaned up before seating anyone else at that table.

Raffles Hotel is now open to public around their courtyard area after their recent renovation. Great for the public to be able to access the courtyard area. Walking along the alley kinds of brings you back in time when this beautiful historical building was built.

Firstly, I would like to thank you Wendy, our wedding consultant for arranging our big day. It was indeed a luxurious experience to hold our solemnisation in the presidential suite, and we would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the butler team, housekeepers and audio crew for ensuring that the venue is well maintained and the whole process is indeed smooth. From the time of check in served by Akira to the process of checking out, we have not encountered any obstacles on our big day. Once again, a big thank you to the team and I strongly recommend Raffles Hotel as a venue for weddings.

Visited the Long Bar and had a very nice time, very friendly and service minded personnel. Seems to have been renovated recently and it looks very fresh and good.

This is it! The best Hotel in Singapur. Service, Flair paired with luxury and high quality is provided every single moment. Wonderful places to hangout. The place to be if money is not the issue. Restaurants and Bar are top notch. Go and have the Singapore Sling Cocktail where it has been invented.

State Room Suite is incredibly beautiful. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were treated like royalties from the moment we arrived at the lobby. They allowed us to park our car right at the front of the hotel. Highly recommended.

The Long Bar never disappoints. Great cocktails and friendly service ( like you'd expect anything else from the Raffles) truly make for a great night. Yes, you must have the Singapore Sling, and No, that's not the only good cocktail on the menu. Come for the legend, stay for the wonderfully modern trailblazing cocktails.

I have now stayed at raffles multiple and every time I go I am always blown away by the experience. The rooms are beautiful and I really appreciate the attention to detail that you see across the whole hotel. Even though I live in Singapore I have booked in for another stay as it feels like an oasis in the middle of the city

Very nice hotel with beautiful decoration from yesteryear. Did not stay overnight but ate dinner in restaurant and drank cocktails in the writer’s bar. Food and drinks were tasty, albeit too small for their prices they charge. Do not expect western size portions. I left the restaurant hungry and wanting. Hotel management needs to reevaluate if they are delivering value for the prices they charge. That said, the service was excellent.

A stay at Raffles is a joy. This is an extraordinary five star hotel experience from breakfast to your nightcap. To stay at Raffles is to share a piece of Singapore’s history. The renovation has catapulted a stay here to the highest level in terms of setting, rooms, facilities, attention to detail, restaurants and service. Even the gym and pool are first class and keep you coming back. Breakfast is one of the highlights and staff remember your coffee order when you return months later. So is room service on your own balcony. The long Bar, Osteria B&B by Alain Ducasse, Courtyard Bar, Writers Bar, Lobby Dining-it’s all top end. Just go.

A must see place when in Singapore! Fabulous atmosphere in Raffles Bar and lovely serenity in the hotel rooms areas and gardens. Amazing selection of drinks with the obvious Singapore sling. Would be 5 stars but the prices are pretty steep..$200 dosents go a long way at all.in the bar.

Context: 2 night stay for anniversary Overall: beautiful place, clean and elegant designs Pros: rooms are smart, you can try out temperpedic pillows, the historical tour is good. Spouse likes guitar, so as a surprise doorman let me bring by early that morning and he put in room before we arrived. Super nice! Cons: before arriving, emailed the concierge of the occasion and dietary restrictions (1 vegetarian) which was acknowledged by concierge in an email reply. I also mentioned it again at check in (“yes, we were emailing a few days ago, all noted”). Not that we wanted to feel special or anything but the visit felt just like business trip in terms of service we received, hotel seemed to be operating at <20% capacity too. At dinner, got a non-veg dish (it was in-room dining only at the time). Chefs obviously cooked something quick which is thoughtful but it was quite bland and was still hungry after. After the visit emailed about this and reply received was “we will note this for your profile for next visit.” Summary: we did no other staycations / had no honeymoon so combined this with the first anniversary (due to covid). We saved for something special like Raffles. If you’re expecting extraordinary, the location is, but for the price attention to detail / service didn’t quite hit the mark. We have experienced more memorable service and attention to detail in other hotels / destinations. Next time, will just come here to dine.

The best hotel experience ever. We stayed 3 nights, all staff members are so lovely and service is very personalised. They make us felt special. We will definitely come back when we visit Singapore next time. Big thank you to raffles team for the amazing time!

Great staycation experience and enjoyable hospitality. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was responsive. Staff were friendly and were flexible with restaurant bookings and pool reservations. Controls in the room take a bit getting used to, so do pay attention when the staff explain. Not much needs to be said about the property, it’s tastefully maintained.

Wow! What an experience. We just concluded our stay at the Raffles Singapore and the experience will stay with us for a long time to come. The hotel, the staff, the food and the general ambience of the hotel is off the charts. Stayed at enough hotels to confidently say that no other comes close to the experience of staying at this hotel.

Had a very less than impressive afternoon tea experience. Food is very average. Scones taste like bread, most local bakeries do better than this. Everything else tasted flat nothing really impressive. Will not return for sure. My 4 year old doesn't even want to eat their chocolate dessert being a sweet lover like most kids.

Raffles is an iconic bar and an absolute must for a visit to Singapore! The floor is traditionally covered with peanut shells as the customers throw them down as they eat and it only gets cleaned up at the end of the night. Ok so it's a wee bit pricey but reasonably standard for Singapore, it takes a wee while to get served as well but the atmosphere is lovely and you won't mind waiting. Friendly staff.

The raffles would be one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service and room was top notch. We were assigned a butler for our whole stay. I really enjoyed the tour of the history of the hotel. Look out for the brown steinway in the upper levels - it's one of 5 in the world. The breakfast buffet at the courtyard was a delight.

Attended a beautiful wedding at this hotel but the service was extremely poor. Everyone had to ask for their drinks multiple times before they were served. I expected much more from such a prestigious hotel. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Truly iconic, The Raffles Hotel is a part of Singapore's history. The service I received here was truly like no other hotel that I've ever stayed in. The personalised service, the food, the attention to detail. The friendliness of the staff. I had a magnificent experience here. Absolutely unforgettable. Truth be told, I don't think I would have ever stayed here if the pandemic didn't curtail my travel proclivities. Everything happens for a reason and I look forward to staying here again.

We went for afternoon tea. A small sample of life for the upper class in years gone by. Every member of staff, from the door captains to the hostesses & servers made us feel very special. Sandwiches were excellent. Cakes, pastries & scones were just perfect. One of us had tea. The other had coffee. Unrushed & indulgent. It has to be one of life's small pleasures when in Singapore.

My family and I had an excellent stay this past weekend at the Raffles Hotel! The true highlight was the staff, as we needed an extra bed and an extra party to join us for breakfast and the staff accommodated us for no extra charge. The complimentary in-room snacks were delicious (we devoured the chocolates), and the room service was superb and accommodating since we had to rush to leave before an event. The hotel’s architecture was beautiful; Raffles has done an excellent job of preserving their long history while modernizing their facilities, which was much appreciated. I cannot recommend Raffles enough and if you have the time, even just visiting their iconic lobby is well worth your time.

Nestled in the heart of Singapore, Raffles Hotel is a true gem that epitomizes timeless beauty and elegance. As I stepped into the property, I was immediately captivated by its stunning architecture, adorned with lush greenery and classic colonial charm. The grand white facade and graceful archways transported me to a bygone era of sophistication and luxury. One of the highlights of my visit was indulging in the iconic Singapore Sling, the hotel's signature cocktail. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait as the popularity of this renowned beverage draws quite a crowd. But trust me, the anticipation only adds to the experience, and when that refreshing glass of pink elixir is finally placed before you, it's pure bliss. The Singapore Sling is a delightful concoction of gin, cherry brandy, pineapple juice, lime, and a secret blend of ingredients that has been perfected over the hotel's long and storied history. Speaking of history, Raffles Hotel has a rich heritage dating back to 1887. Originally established as a beachfront retreat, it has hosted numerous luminaries, including famous writers, dignitaries, and celebrities. The hotel's Long Bar, where the Singapore Sling was first crafted, has witnessed countless tales and conversations that resonate with the spirit of a bygone era. The property itself is a haven of tranquility. Immaculately maintained gardens, courtyards, and fountains offer an oasis of calm amidst the bustling city. The charming suites and rooms are tastefully decorated, blending classic colonial elements with modern comforts. Every corner of Raffles Hotel exudes a sense of refined luxury, providing an unforgettable experience for its guests. Beyond its physical beauty, Raffles Hotel Singapore is a true cultural landmark, representing the essence of Singapore's history and heritage. It stands as a testament to the city's evolution, showcasing a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary allure. In conclusion, Raffles Hotel Singapore is a mesmerizing destination that truly lives up to its legendary reputation. From its captivating beauty to the anticipation of savoring the renowned Singapore Sling, every moment spent within its walls is a journey into elegance and charm. Don't miss the chance to immerse yourself in the rich history and remarkable splendor of this iconic establishment.
