-28March2021- Footprints Hostel will always have a special mark in me, 2016-2021. As it officially closed on 15March2021, the memories will be with me and my friends forever. It has been our meet-up spot and everything else. A good friend of mine used to work there and I know how excellent his service is, not to mention all his efforts of keeping the elemental vibes at Footprints afloat, up until the hostel's last day of operations. To the entire team, wishing you all the best! :)

We picked this hostel because it was highly rated on Hostelworld and honestly I can't see why it was so highly regarded by other patrons. We received a space in a 10 bed mixed dorm for S$12 per night (if I remember correctly) including free breakfast. The rooms were quite standard and included lockers which required your own padlock. The rooms contained air conditioning, which was lack luster and the room remained hot during the night. The breakfast was just toast and semi-stale cereal. With free hot drinks. The area is not great, but it is close to a subway station allowing easy access to the whole rest of the city. The WiFi is weak. The laundry facilities are not great, and expensive. The shared showers / bathrooms are kept rather clean which is good. The staff are friendly and quite helpful when any problems arise. Overall, not great but cheap. There are other nicer looking hostels in the local area so I, personally would stay with them next time I'm in Singapore. But this is pretty decent bang for the buck.

Overall good experience! Communication is fast and pleasant. Check in was easy, and possible sooner than stated. Also staff is quit friendly but sometimes pay more attention to their mobile phones :) Breakfast is basic and room is small but for included price it's great! Showers on second floor not very clean. Ceiling quite moldy but smell is OK without any problems. Rooms are great, lockers are too small for backpacks though. After all a good choice on Footprints!

A very finely managed neat and clean hostel in little India, Singapore. It is just 100 yards from the nearby metro station. Breakfast is complimentary here. Eatables are not allowed in the rooms. Service is prompt and staff is helpful and straight forward. No hidden charges there. We loved our week long stay.

Extremely hospitable and friendly environment. Clean and cozy stay. Loved my stay here. Staff is very helpful and kind even at 12 in the night! Made my first visit to Singapore a memorable one. Ooh and it's very reasonable too. Plus it's located close to an MRT station and the city. And did i mention that they have a yummy spread of breakfast too? Totally worth your bucks! Completely changed my anxiety about staying at a hostel. Thanks Darius and Job :)

The hostel location is easily good. Has many restaurants and 2 nearby metro station. But Air conditioning in the dormitory and cleanliness in the washrooms was not the mark. The air conditioning is active only during night time but felt it as insufficient. The staff here is very cooperative and the hostel provides breakfast. One can try if solo and really on budget.

The hostel staffs have demonstrated utmost professionalism during our stay with Footprints. They are very friendly, polite, and helpful. Apart from that, it is located with variety of eateries around the are and conveniently located near 2 MRT Stations. More importantly, it is the wonderful stay with Footprints that matters.

Cheap and very convenient (close the MRT). The breakfast is nice too. However, the room I stayed in (207) was really hot. The AC was turned on but it wasn’t doing anything at all. Other than that, I like how cheap and convenient this hostel is.

While I was there visiting I was very sick, I couldn't stop coughing, of course this was not the hotels fault I was sick but naturally I didn't want to wake up the bunk mates in the room I was in, so I spent most of my nights in the lobby waiting, the first night I stayed up until 6 am and went upstairs to sleep, I woke up at 8 am pouring in sweat, they turn off all the AC's in the room at 7 am and it turns into a sauna and stays that way until 7:25 pm when they turn the AC back on. It says 7 PM But it doesn't turn on until 7:20 pm or so. One night I was finally not coughing much and decided to try to sleep, and roaches were crawling all over me. I felt uncomfortable and went into the lobby and there I found more roaches on the couch. I told the lady and she gave me another room. She was the only nice employee there. That room was much nicer, still same sauna problem. Definitely would never recommend this place. There were stains all over the mattresses that made them ugly and disgusting looking, they gave you sheets to put over them, I think they should do whatever they could to hide those mattresses before you get there. It's disgusting. They need new mattresses. Good location in Little India near the MRT and all public transportation ( buses, taxis ) roach infestation, very dirty, only nice area is the lobby, needs new paint, needs AC all day, needs a better AC unit too. Just a sad place. I wouldn't recommend staying here, save your money for a nicer place.

I was able to get to the game and back safely and easily. This is not a fancy hotel but I dont really care much about that. The room was nice and clean.

Pros: cheap place to stay if you're don't mind staying with unknown people (dorm style) cleanliness is okay. Cons: looks bit rubdown but hey what you expect in a backpackers stay right? You must bring your own lock if you want to use the locker. Overall, decent stay for anyone who looking to just lay your head and sleep and not keen in spending on accomodation

It was nice stay @ Footprints Hostels. Good and friendly Staffs having kind nature, Proper maintenance of the rooms. Hostel is at very nice geographical location to access of the three different MRT stations and three bus station. Along with its situated in the heart of the Singapore (Little India), many good places to visit nearby (walkable distance). Moreover, the hostel charges are reasonable for the facilities provided.

If you're on a budget this place is good enough to stay for a night. Location is great and staff are friendly. Bathroom could be improved esp on the cleanliness part.

Good deal for what it is. Unfortunately for me, the cleaners dismantled my bed a day before my checkout date (clearly displayed on the bed tag) and stole what I had left out ($80 microfiber towel, $45 travel pillow, sandals, socks, sunglasses.) Took it up with reception who said the cleaners didn't see anything. Also my bag was gone through and had clothes hanging out of it. Everything in the locker was fine.

I quite like this place - fairly inexpensive given Singapore standards, close to the MRT station and Little India, which when you're staying with Indian people can be a blessing. Rooms were good mostly. It's a hostel, so I wasn't expecting the Hilton. Comfortable beds, which is all you mostly need anyway. Bathrooms were good. As someone who spent very little time in the rooms, I didn't much care about facilities anyway., Although they do have free wifi, which is nice. The complimentary breakfast is something I'd skip and get some proper food around little India, unless I was really strapped for cash.

😠 First time in Singapore and the worst experience I’ve ever had in life. We didn’t like the beds and told the front desk we didn’t like it and we want our money back. They didn’t give our money back and we were kinda forced to stay just because our fees were not refundable. Very very congested. They...
