Great value for a family room in Singapore. We loved the room clean and simple design—5 stars level for us. Absolute soundproof and good mattress made our sleep experience unforgettable, We did not interact much with the staff, but all seemed efficient, friendly and attentive. Good location with metro, restaurants and supermarkets close by. Toiletries were substandard. The breakfast did not work for us. After two days, we stopped asking for it. The lobby and restaurant seem empty and temporary. It would need some improvement. The door opened in the back of the reception to the office area was a total turnoff—a 3-star level for us. Overall, we loved our stay and will return in the future.

This is a nice place to stay. Rooms and bathrooms are a touch small (we stayed in the family suites with 2 bedrooms). Pool was great but closed at 9. 10:30 or 11 would have been great given the temperature at night. With a few small improvements this could move from a 3 to 4 star hotel. On arrival if you walked the guest to their room and showed them around. This is favourable to just handing them a key and pointing to the elevator. A better explanation of some facilities. We didn’t know until check out day there were towels available at the pool and had been using our own beach towels. A simple smile and hello each time a guest re-enters the hotel would be nice.

All are good except 1. The housekeeper never clean all the floor even I stay for 8 nights. The crumbs from the foods and the hairs in the bathroom were still in there.

We had an excellent stay here. Our room was comfortable and relatively quiet, though some noise from neighbouring rooms could be heard through the walls. The best part about this hotel was its proximity to MRT stations, and to nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Over the course of our stay, all of the front desk staff were professional and pleasant to deal with. The rooftop pool was also great and always had loungers available. I would gladly stay here again on future trips.

Had a great experience staying here. Very central location close to everything and MRT. Rooms are decent size and very clean. The rooftop pool is a nice bonus!

The room was large and had two writing spaces, which were very helpful. Though the refrigerator was a bit small, it was enough to keep some drinks and foods purchased at supermarkets. Location is outstanding for sure. Though placed at the very center of the city, it was kept very quiet inside the hotel. Since the whole building is kept well air-conditioned, it was not required to turn on the room air conditioner at all, at least in our case.

The hotel was great. Modern and clean. Excellent size room with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was lovely with nice towels and toiletries which were changed every day. Air con was good and the room was cleaned everyday. Location was great in a nice part of Singapore with a metro station 2 minutes away from hotel. The pool was great and we had it to ourselves most mornings. We did have a balcony but didn't use it as there was no view and the noise from the air conditioning units on the building next door were deafening. We could hear this noise in our room too. I had to wear earplugs.

It's one of the best hotels that I've been to. All the staffs are very accommodating and kind to us. The location was perfect, there were a lot of good and cheap restaurants and bars around. Also, there's a money changer and a 7 eleven near the hotel. Would definitely be back here.

Great! Located 100 meters from exit A of Bencoolen Station. Superfriendly staff, great room and very nice, small pool area. Walking distance to Orchard Road. Bus Stop around the corner, as well restaurants.

Excellent rooms, excellent location, excellent service. We had a late or early morning check in. I contacted the hotel a few days prior to let them know. They were waiting for us to arrive. Had everything all ready when we arrived. Super nice man at the desk in the middle of the night. Location is next to 3 different subway lines. So to get anywhere in Singapore is easy. Rooms where clean. Had no issues. Small fridge, laundry machines available on level 5. Pool looked nice but never went in. Prices are very reasonable for Singapore.

Great place, great location, close to an MRT station, the lobby is very roomy, there is a rooftop pool and hot tub. There is a foodcourt nearby which made breakfast super easy. One thing to note is that there is no dedicated hotel driveway for taxi pickup and drop off. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind if you have tons of luggage.

Very centrally located and right next to train station making it easy to get around. The staff were very accommodating and stored my luggage for me after checkout as I had a late flight out of Singapore. Was also able to use their pool shower to freshen up before heading to the airport Was perfect!

We booked a total of 7 rooms for our recent stay with family. The hotel was clean and tidy and super quiet. Staff was really helpful and attentive. Hotel was situated in a great location close to transport and food. This is very handy especially when you are travelling with young children. Will definitely be back!

Room and amenities were very nice, hotel was in a great location, but unfortunately, the front desk staff were all not friendly and I did not enjoy my interactions with any of the front desk team members I dealt with during my stay.

Great hotel. Very convenient to buses and trains. Facilities is mid range, but suitable for a long stay without being over the top. Pool area is nice. Will come back. Rooms come with a kettle and mini fridge.

My partner and I were here for 2 weeks. We were very happy with our room, the pool and the support of friendly staff. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The location is closed to the center with the convenient train station right across from the hotel. Nice place to stay for your trip in Singapore.

Great little hotel. Staff are awesome and nothing is too much trouble. We requested an early check as our plane landed at 7:30am! Understandablybtge hotel said they would provide if they could. On arrival at 9am we were very pleased that one room was available immediately! The hotel has a great roof top pool and was very comfortable. If it had a restaurant it would be even better

We booked thos online and had no idea what to expect. We reached quite early and room was not available. We were given access to the pool and shower facilities. But it took so long to get the room ready. We had an apartment which was great if you have kids. Had everything you ask for. Only criticism is that there was no room service. Train station is just across the road. Quite a few eateries in the vicinity. Mall is around 12 minutes walk.

Location is just perfect. a few steps away from the SMRT, a number of options around the hotel for meal and for catholics, there are atleast 2 churches nearby. :)

My partner and I stayed at 30 Bencoolen for 5 nights mid January 2024. Staff were excellent from the staff at reception to those cleaning rooms. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. We stayed in a Deluxe King Room and found it to be perfect. Room and bathroom were both excellent, plenty of room and really comfortable. Ours was part of an interconnecting room (door locked) but wall was very thin so could hear everything happening next door, not ideal. Hotel was right next to the MRT Downtown Line and next to a major bus stop route. Food hall next door was excellent. Would absolutely stay again! Look forward to coming back to Singapore!

Very strategic hotel, near 2 MRT stations and near orchard and bugis area. The room is also very comfortable, spacious and there's a fitness and pool area. Price wise if you like to have comfortable stays during your trip in SG

Room was spotless, decent size, easy access to public transportation, excellent service (checkin and checkout). Definitely return, for our next vacation.

I believe the accommodations at the main area of Singapore were worth the price I paid. The overall cleanliness and condition of the place were satisfactory. Although the toilet was small, it was still suitable for a single person. The hotel had a gym room for guests, but unfortunately, it was not equipped with exercise equipment. One downside was that the hotel did not have its own restaurant or food supply. However, this was not a major issue as there were numerous local food options and chain restaurants in the vicinity. It was quite easy to find a variety of dining choices nearby. A minor flaw I noticed was the awkward location of the taxi or car drop-off spot. It was situated on the side of the hotel, lacking a designated area for passengers to embark or for cars to wait. This arrangement could lead to annoyance from impatient drivers behind us. In summary, considering the cleanliness and overall quality of the accommodations, as well as the convenient availability of nearby dining options, I believe my stay was worthwhile. However, some improvements, such as addressing the drop-off situation, could enhance the overall experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 30 Bencoolen in a family suite. The hotel is well appointed and we couldn't believe how much space we had in our room. The location is excellent, right near 2 MRT stations, and a 10 minute walk to Little India, Haji Lane and central shopping district. There are also lots of food options close by to choose from. The rooftop pool and hot tub are great - there is also a gym and laundry. We had a fantastic stay here and will definitely return next time we are in Singapore.

Our first two days at 30 Bencoolen were like being in heaven. The last two days were like being in the Other Place. A family with a toddler and a baby moved into the room next to ours. The walls are so thin that we could hear a cough in the next room. So, we could only sleep (or concentrate) when the children slept. We liked the location near MRT stations and restaurants, and we felt that the room was big enough for our three large suitcases. The light breakfast was minimal but sufficient to get us through the morning. The staff were very helpful, especially Mr. Tang, the concierge, who helped mail some cards during a rainstorm.

Location is very good access to public transportation (Mrt, Bus and Taxi) the place was very quite and clean will definitely stay on our next visit, highly recommend to friends and family visiting Singapore.

Comfy beds and good location. The rest is pretty much non-existent, no food, bar closes after 5pm (who drinks before 5?), gym has no weights (but 3 threadmills) and pool is closed due to rain. Disappointing

A great hotel in a great location, easy access to MRT, food vendors and local shops. Staff were happy, attentive and friendly. Hotel was clean and comfotable and the pool area was a lovely place to relax and unwind. No buffet breakfast available and the bar was not open which was disapoointing but not a deal breaker, overall a great stay.

Best location, very close to Bencoolen MRT. Beside the hotel there is 7-11. So convinced! The room is also very spacious compared to Singapore Hotels Standards. But they don't serve breakfast so you have to find your own, which is just 1 minutes walk and you will find yoogo. An all day breakfast.

In General a central and nice hotel. Staff is very incapable especially at the reception. The gym is missing some core items and is too hot. Also the room has some old things such as the hair dryer. Would recommend management to have a close look at details and employees again. The pool is a nice touch and if you get it below 200S$ it’s a good deal.

Really enjoyed staying here the week we were in Singapore. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was warm and welcoming. The hotel was located near to all the places we wanted to visit. Finding place to eat was very easy with nearby restaurants within walking distance. We hope to able to stay here again the next time we’re in Singapore.

The rooms are top-notch and way better than other hotels. If you need anything at all, don't hesitate to contact the staff. They're always more than happy to help with anything you need, be it extra towels, toiletries, or ironing board. Not to mention, the location is perfect. As it is close by to bus and MRT station, hawkers centre's and shopping malls. But compared to nearby hotels, they are a bit pricey.

Fantastic central location! Great place to stay. Close to shopping, food, nightlife, museums, 2x MRT stations... and a pool. Staff were super helpful. Did some printing for me and let up drop bags there prior to check in time.

Rooms are definitely much better than other hotels. If you are missing anything, simply contact the staff (I.e. ironing board, extra towels, etc.) Staff are very friendly and the location is perfect. It's located very close to hawker centres and shopping malls.

Sentosa, Chinatown, Raffles/Chimes, Airport (pro tip: Take the coastline BUS to get there from the airport, saving on 1 Transfer and plenty of escalators with your luggage) Good mattress, clean, quiet rooms, not spacious but hey, that's downtown Singapore.

Fantastic location! Situated within a minute walk of two MRT lines, a 7-eleven next door, and tons of restaurants nearby. Very clean hotel with comfortable beds, great air conditioning, and a lovely rooftop pool which is a great spot to relax after wandering the city all day. Next time I am in Singapore, I will without hesitation, be staying at the 30 Bencoolen.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were some advantages, there were also several disadvantages that made my stay less enjoyable. One of the main advantages of this hotel is its location near the city centre, which was convenient for exploring the city. However, there were several disadvantages that I experienced during my stay. Firstly, the television in the room had limited functions and only had a few channels to choose from. There were also no local channels available, which was disappointing. Additionally, the toiletries provided were very basic and did not include a shaver, which is a standard item in most hotels. Furthermore, there were many bugs in the shower room, which was unpleasant and made the experience uncomfortable. The strength of the shower was also too weak, which made it difficult to get clean. The gym was another disappointment. It was only for display purposes and had only five machines, three of which were treadmills. There was no variety in the equipment, which made the gym experience less enjoyable. Finally, when I raised a request to the hotel due to a disruption in my itinerary, the hotel refused to make an exception to their cancellation policy. This lack of compassion and flexibility was disappointing and left me feeling disappointed with my overall experience. In conclusion, I think the hotel is not value for money, given the service provided and my overall experience. Overall, while the hotel's location was convenient, the various disadvantages and lack of flexibility from the hotel staff made it difficult to fully enjoy my time there. I would not recommend this hotel to others and suggest that improvements be made to the amenities and staff policies in order to provide a better experience for guests.

Had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. Great location for pretty much everything with affordable pricing. Friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean but some electrical plugs are a bit hard to use. Highly suggest you bring extra power sockets. Just a minor bit of feedbacks, but other than that, would be back here again and thank you to all the staff for taking care of us while we were there.

I'm sure it's a fine establishment but when returning to Singapore I would never stay there again because it did not suit my requirements in many ways. the location is excellent but the service is cold, the rooms are nice but not cosy, the lifts are not good enough for the volume of guests, there is no breakfast provided, there are no towels for the pool, and generally the value for money is not good.

Stayed here for a mother-daughter trip and I would honestly stay here again on my next trip! We stayed in a room at the end of the hall so there was barely any noise coming through the walls. The room was no frills and minimalist. They also have a small gym, laundry room and pool (pool and gym required a reservation done via QR code at the time I visited in fall 2022). All the staff were courteous and friendly in helping me with any issues that came up. Best to book on their website for complimentary breakfast that's delivered to your room! Just need to reserve it the day before. No need to worry about food options as there are quite a few malls around the area and also a food court right downstairs. Last but not least, it is in a very convenient location and near multiple train lines and bus stops! It might just be 3 stars but it felt on par with the surrounding 4/5 star hotels!

I eagerly looked forward to a relaxing stay when I arrived at the hotel on Sunday. Still, unfortunately, my first impression was not very positive. The receptionist who greeted me seemed tired and unwelcoming, making me uncomfortable. Moreover, specifying the hefty fine for smoking in the room did not leave a good impression either. Despite booking a room with a balcony, I was not allowed to smoke on the balcony, which was quite disappointing. Maybe that's the law and does not depend on the hotel's policy, but I was disappointed. Furthermore, the room didn't meet my expectations, given the high price I paid. Although clean, it was simple, small, and sparsely furnished, making it feel less comfortable. I did not enjoy my stay, and the overall experience was not worth the money I spent. I would consider another hotel for my next trip, where I can expect a more welcoming and comfortable stay.

Excellent location a very short walk from Bencoolen station. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a gym and roof top pool with towels and water. The value breakfast is fruit juice, a croissant and a fruit delivered to your room (not a dine In option). Service and check in are efficient.

Excellent location, most of the staff were friendly and the swimming pool is nice. The room was smaller than I'm used to and was missing something, it felt dull.

Fantastic modern hotel in great location, easy to get around to most areas. Modern, spacious rooms with plenty of storage/cupboard space. Very modern, spacious bathroom. Nice cold airconditioning! Rooftop pool a fabulous set-up and laundry on level 5 was a very well needed addition. Could not have been happier with my stay here!
