Worst experience! Not worth the money! Booked a suite as a platinum member and I was given a room next to the construction site. Received 2 bottles of flavoured iced and was told it's my welcome drink as a platinum member which was the same as everyone else! The most traumatic thing was 1) I was told at check in that I would have a small view of construction but when I entered it was the entire view from one end to the other suite room. 2) I was told that construction would stop at 10pm. It didn't stop till 2am and on a Saturday night. Plus I had a young child in tow! I called the office numerous times but they only suggested moving us to a quieter room to sleep and that would involve us walking some distance to another room just for the night. 3) I was told that there will be no construction on Sundays but at 8am on Sunday we were woken up by drilling and construction noises. I was told at check out that they will come back to me regarding my feedback and possible compensation but 1 month on and have not heard back. I even emailed the group manager but no response at all. I would not have chosen to stay at this property should I have known that I will be put through this torture of enduring construction noise. That is not the way to spend on my anniversary at a resort! Others: They seemed under staffed all the time especially at breakfast and it doesn't feel in anyway like a resort, staff weren't that friendly.

Would have given 5 star review had we not experienced some disappointments. Read below. What's good: 1. Great ambience, surroundings. Near the beach and amidst lots of greenery. The architecture and overall setting of the hotel is French style and picturesque. Lots of good places where you can take photos. 2. Great breakfast spread. Loved the options. 3. Lots of peacocks around in the hotel. 4. Free fish spa 5. Nice and cozy rooms. 6. Complimentary wine for our special occasion. What's not good: 1. Our welcome/arrival experience was pretty disappointing. The staff could have done better. No personal touch/communication to the way they greeted us. No proper guidance/introduction/overview of the hotel. A 5 star hotel and you can't even spend couple of minutes to get to know us and share what, where and how of the hotel? No welcome drink as well? There wasn't even much rush of guests checking-in that time. We were left confused on how to navigate the hotel, what dining options are there, what activities we can do, whether we need to reserve table for dining or not. 2. Very few options when it comes to vegan/vegetarian food for in-room or at-restaurant dining. Please add more vegan/vegetarian options into your dining menu.

Good in Hardware facilities only The hardware facilities of the hotel are very good, the room is very spacious and tidy. There are many choices for the breakfast. However the Service expectations is not up to par. There are only 2 front desk counters and always have a long queue. Although there is 1 desk so call priority desk. But there are no staff at all. I'm their Accor Platinum member, but I didn't experience any privilege at all. And the most ridiculous thing is that when I check in the room. The welcome name shown in the TV is another customer's name. As there platinum member, I expect to enjoy there welcome drinks in their bar or lounge, but not just sending 2 bottles of tea to the room. And these welcome drink offer is I need to make a special mention to there staff. I did not expected that this will happen in a 5 star hotel. And I didn't experience this in there other brands of hotels.

This is a nice and luxurious resort in sentosa on the Tanjong beach with lot of food options including Le Bar and the cliff. The pool is nice and big and a perfect place to snooze. A 7min walk through a trail brings you to the beach. The junior suite is spacious and well equipped. All amenities are provided. Due to covid mini bar was emptied out which was a bummer but room service delivers ...so you can chill in front of the TV with a beer or two. Staff is helpful and courteous. Check-in process was relatively easy. They have a spa located on the other side of the property. The rooms are such that they allow maximum privacy. Would recommend for a stay to move away from the hustle and bustle of the city and be close to the nature. The junior suite would set you back $790 per night.

Relaxing ambience with friendly staffs. However, the room’s interior is old and all of their pillows have a funky smell - we had to request for fresh towels to cover the stench and sleep. Also, I was expecting a 5-star luxury hotel to have items like disposable shavers and masks at hand, but they do not have when requested. Overall a disappointing experience :(

One of the worst experiences I ever had and I strongly discourage people not to use this hotel if you have stayed at any other five star hotels before. You will be purely disappointed because the standard is so low. We booked a room under junior suite for a short stay to celebrate my husband’s birthday. First of all, we were taken to the wrong type of room first. I called the front desk about it and I was told to wait for half an hour. No one called me back so I called the front desk again and requested to move the luggage to the new room while we are away. Later, I went to the front desk to get a new room card but the attitude of front desk lady was so disappointing. Nothing was arranged and the lady was backfired. In the end, I got the card for the junior suite room, but guess what!! The room was for the smokers and the room/ sofa was so smelly. I cannot believe these consecutive bad services which happened at the five star hotel.

The hotel's shuttle bus is very useful. The peacock is in the garden. I got the feeling of a peacock from all over the hotel. The bathroom tiles are overwhelmingly beautiful. The line of movement can be felt long with the arrangement of the ㅁ-shaped rooms. The cleaning staff is diligent and friendly. The lobby staff is blunt. Clean rooms and a beautiful, rich garden with a feeling of age. The bottom of the pool has a lot of leaves and many mosquitoes around it.

A beautiful place in an ideal location. The hotel has a beautiful view overlooking the surrounding area. And extremely close and easy access to the beach. The place is green and luscious whilst being peaceful and quiet. Our room was not large but very clean and tidy. Of note the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. A very big thank you to Sherilyn from reception and the restaurant staff where we had our breakfasts and dinners for all their help and cheerful smiles. You made the start of our days that much better with all of your smiles :).

Very nice stay here. Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa combines French elegant style and Balinese resort designs. You would feel relax when you arrive here. And there is a corridor to the seaside place and it has stunning scenery at sunset moments. This time I am stay in a junior suite, has good renovation. And in a good French style. Morning time, there are 2 peacocks have breakfast with you together at this wonderland.

Pros: The driveway entrance, lobby, and grounds as you make your way to your room are definitely a sight to behold. You immediately feel as if you're in another country on holiday! The rooms are solid though nothing really stood out from 4-star hotels. Cons: Unfortunately, the customer service at this hotel is terrible. They do not reply to queries over phone or email prior to your visit. They also take too long to address room concerns and sometimes don't bother answering the phone when you call the front desk. Room was also dusty. Also, the fire alarm went off for a good 10 mins before being addressed. I overheard a woman complaining to staff saying this happened 3 times this month alone... Bottom line: wouldn't come back, can definitely get a better experience for my money elsewhere.

Had a lovely stay there with my wife. Initial experience at reception was very good with pleasant and efficient staff. Later on, observing the large queues at reception and agitated guests I realised there really isn't enough capacity at reception for a hotel of this size. The room was nice and comfortable though the decor was very dated (would have been very fashionable in the 1970s). The breakfasts were good with a warm welcome from Peter though the menu for evening meal in the restaurant is very limited, more so than the room service menu in fact. Do yourself a favour and eat at the cliff Italian restaurant in the hotel, excellent wait staff, a good menu with a good wine list and delicious food. The integrity of management has to be questioned though as we found our room was a stones throw from the major construction the hotel is undertaking with long working hours and lots of noise. For us the problem was rectified quickly by Michelle on reception who managed to find us an alternative room in the other wing of the hotel. If in the next couple of months you find yourself allocated the peace wing I suggest you insist on being moved to the tranquility wing instead. So in summary: great location, great staff (maybe apart from management!) and a good restaurant at the Cliff.

Very disorganised hotel and not friendly for families with young children. 1. Received an email before check-in with an offer to upgrade to junior suite for $92/night. Called to ask if I needed to decide before check-in and was told that it would not make a difference and I could decide at check-in. At check-in I was then told that I should have responded to the email and now the price was $250/night! I wanted to respond to the email then but was told that it was too late. Complained to the manager the next day and found out that I could still have responded to the email at check-in to get the $92/night offer. 2. Came back late one night and both kids (under 7) were sleeping. Asked concierge if I could park the car at one of the reserved lots near the hotel so I could carry the kids to the room, but was told that it was not allowed even though the lots were empty. In the end, I had to wake the kids to walk back to the room. Complained to the manager and found out that I should have been allowed to park at the empty lots. If all the lots were full, the concierge should have offered the buggy to help because the visitors parking was very far away. 3. The room safe was stuck, so we called front desk to send the security team to reset the safe. It took 1.5hrs for the security team to arrive! 4. I understand the need to make bookings to use the hotel facilities because of covid, but I think it is unacceptable that everything is fully booked for the 4 days that I'm staying at the hotel. If that is really the case, then the hotel should be upfront with the guest before confirming the reservation or not accept the reservation since their facilities cannot support all the guests staying at the hotel. Who wants to book a staycation only to stay in the hotel room for 4 days?! Had to make so much noise before the hotel finally accommodated us. The only saving grace is that the general manager understood that this level of service was unacceptable for a luxury hotel and tried to make the stay better, but it was already day 3 of our stay by then. Would not recommend Sofitel for families with young children.

Decided not to book it because of horrible customer service. Email with my questions unattended for 2 weeks already. It's totally unacceptable. From my previous experience with the hotel when I stayed there during pandemic, five star level it's just not there. You could spend 30 min trying to call for assistance, for example. I've been hoping it changed, but seems like only got worse. The rooms itself are nice, but do you really need it without proper service when Sentosa have so many options.

Paid $1600++ for the Infinite Family experience for 3D2N with full meals to celebrate my family’s birthdays. Definitely NOT worth the price. Though the food was great, the cleanliness and service were not consistently good. The phone receiver stank and there were black mold on the curtains. After booking the SPA pool, my young daughter and I turned up in our swimming gear, only to be turned away as the SPA did not allow children in their pool. My daughter was present when the hotel staff advised us to choose to either SPA pool or villa pool however no one mentioned the no-children policy for the SPA pool. When the hotel kindly extended our check-out time, we were locked out of our room as they did not extend our card access duration.

First time to a resort style hotel. It was indeed luxurious, cozy and welcoming. The room is nice and clean. The bathroom was awesome. Room came with the coffee machine seated on a nice standalone pod. I was upgraded to a balcony room. Thanks but no thanks the balcony is like a back door which we totally didn’t utilised it due to the construction cover up ahead of the room. Take note: there’s no buffet lunch/dinner option during weekday. What could be better: Better hospitality - being first time to the hotel, we have no idea where’s the reception. No one to lead from the drop off. Expect a very warm welcome from a 5* Luxurious Hotel but none of that. There’s a lot of mosquito which is quite a turn off. Restaurant staffs weren’t as friendly as expected too Nevertheless, we still enjoy the stay just that maybe we expecting much more coming from a 5* Luxurious Hotel.

It was nice to have a staycation there. The food was good and I had a great view out of the window. However, their time to assign us to our rooms was very long. The rooms were pretty old. I loved the fish spa there though. I do hope they can be a little quicker with their service next time.

Not a 5-star resort. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful in accommodating us. Front desk staff were extremely rude and far from empathetic. Didn’t care to listen when told my wife got food poisoning from a piece of fish. Thoughtful hospitality providing treats for our honeymoon. Hotel needs to work on understanding gluten free. They expected GF bread could be mixed with regular bread toaster. Rooms very basic. No buffet for dinner. Spa is run down. The massage itself was delightful but the hot tubs weren’t hot and the facility was bland.

My room is big and makes me feel very comfortable. I especially like the coffee area and the toilet, where essential items are provided. The sofa is so comfy that I almost fell asleep while watching TV. Service is fantastic; they helped clean my room, offered me water bottles, rang me a courtesy call… very peaceful staying there for a night.

I am writing with regards to the spa. I booked for a day spa with use to the facilities. When we got there, I was doubtful if the place was in operation as it was run down and poorly maintained. My package came with use of spa facilities, but the whole ground looked abandoned. Where the massage huts used to be, it was overgrown swamp and dead leaves strewn across. The mud pool was not in existence, and the labyrinth garden was overgrown. The deck chairs at the pool was falling apart, and the condition of the pool and handle bars were not maintained, it was too scary to attempt any of these dirty surface. Indoors, the male section hot and cold jacuzzi was not in operation, and both sauna were out of service. So was the restaurant. A chat with the staff told us that post covid, the establishment has been neglected, and construction works to the hotel affected the management of the spa. I have been to this spa numerous times and had beautiful experience. Therefore, I chose this for an important occasion expecting what I know it to be. When the staff sent me a reminder email, it should have been courtesy to inform at this point, if not earlier, that the property is in disarray so I have time to make alternative arrangements. It was every bit disappointing, and embarrassing to be greeted this way on an important day. The only saving grace was that the 90 min massage was very good, and we thank Angeli and Diane. I wrote to the hotel with my feedback and asking to be contacted because patrons should really be informed before they make a decision. I have not heard back since last week. I will say with absolute certainty Spa Sofitel is no longer fit to accept customers.

Our stay at the Sofitel Sentosa Resort was quite perfect really - location, the grounds were beautiful, the rooms meticulous. However, 2 flaws stood out: First, check in was delayed by nearly 2 hours. We waited from the stipulated check-in time of 3pm, until almost 5pm before our rooms (2 x Prestige Suites) were finally ready. I know the hotel was extremely shorthanded and perhaps overwhelmed that day - being the first day of Chinese New Year, but an acknowledgement or quick apology would have been appreciated. There was no form of damage control, sadly. Second flaw which could have easily been avoided: being Accor members and, I suppose being in the Suite, we received a plate of fruit. This gesture in itself was very nice. But my daughter had taken 2-3 bites of the apple before discovering the insides were rotten. I can furnish photos if you require. Otherwise, all other aspects of our stay were beautiful, and our needs were met and well taken care of. The pool, the proximity to the beaches, were all good. It is likely that we shall return to this wonderful resort hotel.

It's quiet resort located in Sentosa. Not really convenient to access via public transportation, but you can use cab or Grab. Great service from all of the staffs. Love this place.

    1) Front desk was trying thier best to solve an issue regarding a payment issue. When she asked help from the manager, the manager shooed her away claiming she had other issues to settle. I waited 45mins just for them to tell me I had to settle the issue on my own before I could even check in. 2) When I entered the room the first thing I noticed was how dirty the room floor was. It had stains that were not attended to. The bathtub in the toilet is rather slippery and no grip mat was provided, considering the fact that you have to shower in the bathtub as there is no separate shower stalls. 3) The cupboard is rather rundown with it's paint peeling off and there were no complimentary cold drinks provided in the fridge. 4) The plug point in the room is placed at very inconvenient locations and 3/5 plug points did not work in the room. 5) Amenities were alright. The pool staff were fine and kuddos to Dylan for being such a nice pool staff and attending to our needs. The fact that Sofitel is a 5 star hotel baffles me. Great ambience but no effort placed into improving the small issues within the hotel. One things for sure an automated reply from Robert Gauer is to be expected and yet no action will be taken.

Our room was located on level 1. Before falling asleep, my husband commented there might be mosquitos, but he decided to brush it off and went back to bed. He woke up again in the middle of the night, badly bitten on his arms, back and toes. The room’s balcony door was not opened throughout the stay. No idea how the mosquito got in. We did not sleep well for the rest of the night as we felt uneasy. Pictures are taken in the morning after we woke up. The only comment we got from the staff upon check out was to “feedback to housekeeping”. Overall I do think this hotel needs improvement on it’s cleanliness, especially because their rooms and furnishings are old.

Was passing by the hotel and realised that the hotel is pet friendly. You can actually bring your pets, but only to the non air conditioned area, I.e. the reception, court yard Anyway there is a nice jazz bar coming up at the basement in July

Liked the ambiance but hated it that the pool section for 1,5 meters was literally tiny. Basically all the kids are in that area and you cant find any space to enjoy the pool if you don't want to go to the depth. For honeymoon not much recommended on the weekends as it gets quite busy with families and kids. But the worse part was that a middle aged lady on the reception was basically rude.. Just rude. You were able to feel it very badly. And this in a place like SOFITEL! in SINGAPORE!.. Our honeymoon went not well in that place. Disappointed.

Poor service, long wait time, room check in time keeps getting delayed. The room check in was at 3pm. We arrived at 3.30pm and waited for 30 minute before we made it to the hotel lobby front desk, only to be told at 4.15pm that the room is not ready yet. There was no apologies, no offer of any complimentary drinks or food item while we wait. The location of the hotel is also secluded so there was no where else for us to go to. The lobby aircon was also leaking. We have not even gotten the room and its already such a poor experience. Not what i expected from a 5 star luxury hotel.

Sofitel Resort & Spa is a 1930 history architect building. I read the history and decided to give it a go. Was at Sofitel staycation on 17th - 19th June with husband and 2 furbabies. It was a splendid and relaxing stay where we can chill out of the busting city and daily rountine life. Most importantly not many hotel/resort accept pets as family for staycation but Sofitel "YES". Furbabies - Sofitel take an extra mile arrangements for my 2 old dogs meals(home cooked food as old dogs need special diet) to keep at their kitchen and deliver them as per their meal time (instructions given). They even prepared gift box, toys and disinfectant liquid for my 2 furbabies. Rooms was spacious lots of space for furbabies to run/walk around. Garden for furbabies to walk/run. Cafe and restaurant as long is open space they allow pets. Didn't try furbabies meal as my pets need special diet but i know furbabies food was good (infor from friends). Human - We had a great staycation as the resort is quiet and peaceful and room were spacious. No mosquitoes. Resort were surrounded by trees and flowers. In the mornimg there were birds chirping and singing which make the place, serene. Birds, Peacocks, squirrels, monkey roaming free which bring us back to nature. Food was good where they served western,.asian, indian and Italian food. Quite a wide varieties of choices to choose from. Hmmm.. would appreciate if they there is a actual chinese restaurant like servings teochew or cantonese dishes only. Haha 😄. Spa time (Human) - Upon arriving at So Spa we was greeted with warm smile, hot ginger tea and cold scented towel by "Diane" before we change and starts our massage.. Massage was great and we had a relaxing, let down our hair 90mins massage. Amenities at So spa where they had a indoor jacuzzi, hot pool and outdoor swimming pool which we can use after massage. Do remember to bring your swim costume if going for outdoor swimmimg pool. Overall stays was great and relaxing. Special thanks to Ms Pauline for helping us to make the booking for room & spa & furbabies arrangement. Special thanks to Diane and Zu Lee for the great massaging time.

Disappointing, not a 5-star hotel. My stay at Sofitel Sentosa was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel's building was nice, and it offered a good range of amenities in a nice location, which initially set a promising tone for my holiday. The noisy construction site does not lie in the responsibility of the hotel. However, the negatives in terms of service and communication overshadowed the positives. The check-in process was tedious, taking nearly 30 minutes, and with only two counters for a considerable number of guests, it lacked efficiency. The reception is constantly under-staffed, so each visit comes with 15 minutes waiting in the line. I would have expected somebody to step in and check if they can help or at least sort the line a little (You have a question or an issue?). This lack of responsibility and organization reflected poorly on the management. The main issue I encountered was the poor communication and management. Despite pre-requesting a third bed and receiving confirmation, it was not set up during check-in. The staff seemed unaware of the request, and even after showing the confirmation, the issue was not promptly resolved. At lunchtime they promised to set it up immediately. At 22pm it was still not set up. I had to follow up multiple times and visit the reception again to get it sorted, of course each time waiting for 15 minutes. One of the staff which seemed to be of the management, passed by multiple times, never cared about the guests. At midnight the bed showed up. Regarding breakfast, while the food was decent, the limited indoor seating often meant sitting outside. This exposed guests to birds that interfered with the dining experience. The staff had to juggle between cleaning tables, preparing food, and handling the birds, impacting the overall service. In summary, while the hotel has a nice building, good amenities, and a nice location, the poor service, communication issues, and management inefficiencies were notable drawbacks. The staff, though mostly friendly, seemed burdened by the lack of proper support and responsible management. Considering these factors, I would give Sofitel Sentosa a maximum of 4-star rating. I hope the hotel management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements for a better guest experience in the future. Sadly I won't return to check. Management: poor/not visible Reception: understaffed Location: nice Breakfast: ok, full of disturbances (birds and noisy construction site)

Very pleasant experience here. What impressed me most was the amazing customer support. He was VERY polite and helpful, even delivered hangers right to my doorstep. His voice was so nice and soothing too. His name’s Damian or something. Highly recommended.

Superb location, feels like a tropical island. The staff are extremely courteous and polite and very helpful. Giving that extra service that makes the difference. The pool staff are wonderful, so friendly and can't do enough for you to make your stay that extra but special. Rooms are very clean and well kept. It's a vast estate, so there are lots of options for eating, drinking and just relaxing. There's a 132 step path that leads down to the beach, so plenty for the whole family. It's a dog friendly hotel, so if you like dogs, there's loads about for you to admire and take your dog for that extra special service too

Our first stay here was a year ago and it was absolutely disappointing. Our hotel room lights turned itself on multiple times in the middle of the night. We tried to call the operator to tell them about it, yet our calls went unanswered. Finally, when they answered after close to half an hour, they sent someone to check on the lights. Unfortunately, the problem persisted, and we had to call the operator again. Again, multiple calls went unanswered and when they finally answered, the service staff did not believe us when we told her many calls went unanswered, even to the extent of telling us she could trace back the call logs. She sounded annoyed when we requested for a change of room, and when she relented, insisted we pack all our bags and bring our luggage to the new room even though it was 330am and we were exhausted. The next morning, we flagged this incident to the Day manager and he compensated us with a free night, which we used on our current stay. A year has passed and not much has improved. Our check in process was complicated as although we made a booking (with an extra bed request) a year in advance, we were told there were no more extra beds. The manager helped us with that situation and thankfully, we managed to get an extra bed for our children. We were also given complimentary drinks at the bar, which we were supposed to be able to redeem anytime during our stay. However, to our horror, we were automatically checked out the next morning even though we had a 2 night stay planned. Our key cards did not work, and we were locked out of the room with the impression that someone else had checked in and was using our room (due to a misunderstanding). The concierge who assisted us was rude and unapologetic. We managed to speak to another director, who offered us some dining credits and sent some snacks to our room. However, my questions about the complimentary drinks (comp drinks were erased from the system when we were checked out) went unanswered and ignored and were forfeited eventually. This would be the final time we will be visiting the hotel. We are shocked that a supposedly renowned hotel chain can offer substandard service with no follow ups. Would highly recommend not coming here. (Giving a 2-star and not a 1-star review only because we did have an excellent experience at The Cliff with the dining vouchers - the food and service was wonderful, and we are thankful to the staff there for what is possibly the only good experience out of our whole stay)

Room was generally, not bad at all. But feel like the furnitures and things are misplaced - might look good but not following usual flow line of the user. Also the room had sofa bed but no blanket or mattress for it. So I had to use the bath towel instead. The service was generally good. I just felt a specific receptionist starting with P was kinda arrogant but maybe was busy in getting people checked in. Ah, the check in experience was not comfortable at all. They better improve it rather than having bunch of guests waiting in line. Overall, I paid about 800USD per night but was not worth it compared to what you would get in a similar pricing hotel in other counties. But this is my first time in Singapore, so I'm not sure if this is what I should be expecting.

I enjoy bath tube and room decoration, functional is very nice. I have a very good sleep here. But it should have balcony for my wet cloths after wet activity. Breakfast can be better. Moreover, air con seating should have more because outside super-hot. The hotel facing the sea that make me feel so good.

Very lovely hotel. Do recommend it. Lovely grounds. The room was very comfortable. Had a great shuttle service to the mainland. The only disappointment was the pool. The pool looks incredible and very inviting but it’s warmer than a bath so not enjoyable at all

Our hotel of choice for a pet friendly staycation! It’s very well located, and I can bring my dog to stay with me. Love the service too. Only reduced point because of the amount of mosquitoes on grounds. There’s also rat poison laid around without any warning to us. These have been notorious for causing deaths of dogs locally. And also they increased the price for pets drastically. Otherwise a great stay and we will come back again.

The place is lovely and clean. Brought my dog along with the pet package provided. The room is good at the ground floor with sliding door where we can access outside. Only some minor comments or suggestions on the limited F and B outlet which can accommodate pets. Also the decor in the room could use less mirrors, quite disturbing for my pet dog. And carpet is not necessary for room accommodating dogs. Another thing is the access to the beach could be improved with a lift for elderly, young children and pets. Otherwise the stairs can be quite steep. Would also be good to offer buggy service to access the beach. But overall, the stay, staff and environment are wonderful!

Thank you Sofitel Sentosa - we loved staying with you. Our room was magnificent- spacious and comfortable. The surroundings were stunning and the staff were friendly, sweet and kind. Our first time in Singapore was made perfect staying with you. Thank you so much to everyone there. We can’t wait to come back ❤️

All in all it was a pleasant stay, the room has everything you need, not much more and no high tech stuff but that’s okay. The Staff was friendly (mostly). One of the downsides was the kind lady at the front desk that didn’t speak enough english to understand us which made any communication that went beyond the standard questions hard. The location is nice if you just wanna relax at he pool or the beach. Otherwise you need to take a bus or a cab.

Rest and Relax with beautiful gardens surrounded us. Friendly and responsive staffs. Front desk, Sherilyn provide a great customer service too! Great stay with clean room. Highly recommended for a staycation here.

hotel was clean, staff were professional and helpful. It was very entertaining to see peacocks roaming around, made the day for my kids. There were 2 areas that could be improved. Firstly, the kids club was not manned and not as fun as expected from my kids. Secondly, I missed the fresh juice counter that used to be present for breakfast buffet, please bring it back. Thank you for a great staycation.

Overall, we had a delightful experience, with exceptional service and amenities that truly reflect the standards of a 5-star establishment. However, I feel compelled to bring to your attention an issue that significantly impacted our stay – a power outage during the night that lasted for approximately 5 hours. Unfortunately, this disruption had a notable effect on our sleep quality and overall comfort. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can lead to technical challenges, and I acknowledge the efforts of your staff in managing the situation. Nevertheless, I believe it is essential for the management to be aware of such incidents, as they can influence the overall satisfaction of guests. I kindly request that you investigate the root cause of the power cutoff and take the necessary measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. A consistent power supply is crucial for providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for your guests, especially in a luxury setting. I trust that, with your commitment to maintaining high standards, you will address this matter promptly and effectively. By doing so, not only will you enhance the experience for future guests, but you will also solidify your reputation as a top-tier destination.

We came here for family staycation. We also brought our cockapoo to stay with us. I stayed here a long time ago when it was still called Beaufort hotel.. I feel the hotel now looks better, well maintained the room is nice and had luxury feel. The hotel is also pet friendly.. we can walk around the hotels quite freely with our dog. I saw other guests bring their rabbit, cat , corgi too. But what stands out also the natural friendliness of most bell staffs.. they are very helpful, smile and make us feel welcome. If there's small suggestions are .. better, stronger coffee beans .. the coffee beans was weak for latte.:-) . The other suggestion is to train the reservation who handled phone call to be more tactful in answering questions. I was referring to M. I also talked to another person , Wendy on the phone , she is excellent and helpful. In short, we really enjoy our time there, relaxing environment Damage : $>1000 for 1 night for family of 4 and a dog

The hotel was at a beautiful location in Santosa, Singapore. I was there for business but managed to have some relaxing moments in the stunning surroundings. The staff were always friendly and super helpful. My waiter, Marcus added a special touch in my last evening when we had dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic! So much choice and delicious!!

Pleasantly surprised by this resort! We booked Prestige King room for 2 nights and the room is huge with a living area. Love the room so much! It's just a short walk through the pool area down the long flight of (nature walk) stairs to Tanjong Beach where it's beautiful and not over crowded. The kids club was also where the kids enjoyed themselves and the staff was friendly and nice. Breakfast is buffet style and will be served by the staff as you order. Every experience from check in to stay to check out was awesome. Would definitely come again!

The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool and the fish spa. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed spending our afternoons lounging in the sun and taking refreshing dips in the water. The fish spa was also a unique and enjoyable experience. It was a bit ticklish at first, but we soon got used to it and found it to be quite relaxing. The rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. We particularly appreciated the comfortable beds and pillows, which ensured a good night's sleep. The only downside was that the resort was a bit far from the main attractions on the island. However, the hotel provided a shuttle service to the nearby eateries, which was convenient. Overall, we had a lovely stay at Sofitel Sentosa and would definitely recommend it to others. The pool and fish spa were the highlights of our trip, and we appreciate the effort the staff put in to make our stay enjoyable. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Everything about this resort gave me a Bali resort feel. From the entrance, the long walkways, the pool that oversee the sea, to the interior of the room. There are plenty of lush open spaces that is perfect for my pet dog to stretch his legs. Staff are friendly especially always stopping to say hi to my dog. Breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic, with variety and quality. Pool is a bit small for a hotel of this size. Bookings are a must due to Covid measures, hence it is not exactly convenient. The view from my room also leaves much to be desired. It is just facing a random back pathway. The grass there are not maintained and workers in buggy roams up and down this stretch which causes my dog to be distressed as he always thought it is some strangers encroaching into his space.

We upgraded from a garden room to family suite and it worked for our family of 2 toddlers and 3 adults. The sitting room and bedroom is separated by a foyer and each has its own entrance so we liked that we could watch TV till late whilst the kids sleep in the sitting room. Only con was the loo was in the sitting room so we had to tip toe around to use it. Ala carte menu at The Cliff was good much to our surprise! Dinner buffet at kwee zen was a smaller affair but value for money at $68++, but overall glad that buffet breakfast spread are back as I heard loads of hotels stopped doing it after covid happens! Also, one of the best thing about it is the HEATED POOL! No more wasted mins of hesitation to jump in! Overall great family hotel, service was decent and staff were patient with kids. Would give it 5 stars if the interior wasn’t so dated.

We booked the Luxury Garden Room for a pawcation with our 2 doggies. The hotel advised that only guests staying in Garden room bookings are allowed to bring 2 dogs. You need to top up extra payment for each dog. The room opened to a grass patch. This is great for the doggies as they could play outdoors. In addition they would be expected to do their toileting activities outside as no pee trays were provided. Only 1 bed and 1 toy would be provided. No feeding bowls were provided too! The hotel provided an inflatable pool. Do remember to request for it. Great fun for the doggies. The hotel location offered convenient access to Tanjong Beach through a back gate. This is great for pawrents to bring their doggies to the beach. Remember to book your slots at the beach before you head over. One downside is no access to pets @ the F&B outlets inside the hotel despite having outdoor areas. It will be nice if they perhaps allow dining with pets in the outdoor areas during off peak hours.

It was a really awful experience at Sofitel Sentosa. We were booked for a one-night stay under the hotel's pet-friendly offer. 3 adults, 1 dog. Reception We were not exactly ushered to where we had to be after we alighted from our taxi. All we were told to do was 'Safe Check-in'. Of which, the staff gave us no instructions on what to do over their system. After doing our safe check-ins, we found our way to what seemed like the Concierge for Hotel Check-in. My sister got in line for registration while me, my mom and our pet dog waited in the lobby. A few minutes later, a staff came to us and told us to 'stand one side' while throwing looks at my dog. First when I heard, I hurriedly replied with a 'OK' but then I realised I didn't know what he meant by 'stand one side'. Which side did he want me to stand? Against the pillar, against the wall, next to the concierge doors or next to the planters? I was really confused but I think I know why he wished we didn't stay in the lobby - was it because of my dog? If that was the case, where should we pet owners be waiting with our pet? Registration/Check-in time My sister spent 20 minutes inside an enclosed, badly ventilated room for registration. It made me wonder about Sofitel's efficiency and also health awareness given the current pandemic situation? If check-in time was 3pm, Sofitel should expect majority of guests to arrive at that time to register. I strongly recommend you update your check-in process. Make use of your spacious lobby area to do check-ins. Your concierge staff should be able to process registrations over portable devices like an iPad and then collect any necessary prints from the print room while your guests wait by the lobby, with fresh air. Hotel Room I actually cannot believe Sofitel has not got decent interior or furnishings. Everything was super dated. The room was dark, some wood finishings on the wall were cracked, the toilet door and bathroom door opened up to each other which means they can clash into each other and break, the curtains were old and rusty, the outdoor deck and seatings were really dirty and sandy! TV was not working and my sister's name was addressed wrongly. Transport and Customer Services FYI Sofitel provides no transport services within the island. Yes, Sentosa is a small island but it is not that small. The location of Sofitel is not the most accessible too. When I made a call to Sofitel's customer service team seeking help, the assistant over the phone either interrupted or defended herself instead of letting me finish my sentence. At many points, all I heard was 'but mam', 'but mam', 'let me finish mam', 'listen to me, mam'. And for half of that, I did let her explain herself. When I had my chance, I made it known to her that she should be listening to me and what I had to say. She was supposed to provide assistance. If she was unable to help, the least she could do was listen to me and let me finish my sentence..... seriously. I was appalled by Sofitel for hiring such a staff member! Also, Sofitel pays almost no attention to details about their guests. No personal touch! It was my sister's birthday but Sofitel GAVE NOTHING to her. The last time we were at Village Hotel for my sister's birthday, they gave her a cake! Food and Beverage (pet-friendly) Yes, Sofitel offers pet-friendly staycation. But there is NOTHING for the pet to do except staying in the room and walking with their leash on. Sofitel provides ZERO pet food or food option. Even with alfresco seating in some restaurants in Sofitel, they did not allow pets to join their human owners. Honestly, I could have done way more with my dog by staying at home. Food and Beverage (human) Kwee Zeen has the most amazing wait staff. If you stood at the same automated doors as them, they would not let you pass first because they are so important and so much in a hurry that they have to get through before you. Warning: There are literally red fire ants EVERYWHERE in Sofitel even on their posh floor tiles. It is really gross to have to walk through an army of ants!!! DONT GO.

Not a good experience despite it being a 5 star hotel. Long queues and only 2 check-in counters when we arrived at the stipulated check-in time at 3pm. The hotel should anticipate the number of arrivals and deploy more staff/set up more counters. Does not look good when the lobby is crowded! Hotel should also prioritise hygiene and maintenance especially in the current climate. Shower floor was sandy and even had 3 tiles popped up! Thankfully we did not injure ourselves - we did inform the staff to get them to rectify it before allocating the room to the next guests. Breakfast selection for 2 days was very limited. As mentioned from previous comments, not sure if it's due to the pandemic fatigue but the service quality was sseverely lacking. It was our first and last time there. We would rather spend our money on other hotels in sentosa or return to Fullerton or Shangri-La as their service is far better.

The rooms were nice and service quite standard. Some parts of the room felt a bit old and coffee machine wasn't working. Overall nice stay but... a lady almost drowned in their pool and life guard was quite slow so someone else had to go and rescue the girl. Would recommend having to look into this esp since it's life or death. Had friends who also received rooms that had used utensils which is so disgusting especially given the covid situation !

GM Mr Tommy was excellent in rendering help and assistance to an injured staff. He didn't hesitate and went the extra mile to do what was needed to assist the staff. He deserves to be recognised for going the extra mile for the safety of the hotel staff. Well done Tommy and thank you for your steadfast reaction and kindness.

Visited this hotel for staycation. As staycation experience, overall it’s quite nice as the hotel gives you an ambiance of being in Indonesia when you walk in it’s lush garden Amenities at the hotel are also quite good. I loved the spa center and the spa garden where you can spend some relaxing time after having a massage. The hotel’s location is also convenient while the beach is only a short walk away.

Return stay for 2021, and extended nights this time as I really loved it the last time I was here. Check-in was a breeze, it was good to see some familiar staff at the concierge and front desk. The resort brings one back to Bali, I love the long walkways and gardens. The wonderful front desk team gave me the same room as before, so thank you! The pool is the best bit, it's so lush. I was served by Marcus who was very friendly. In reading some of the less positive reviews, I can only feel sorry for the staff who are doing their level best to provide exceptional service in the midst of a pandemic and having to deal with demanding and unreasonable guests. Please do read up before you book (as well, you need to book restaurants and the pool), as this hotel is no exception to other establishments who need to follow the guidelines given by MOH. Let's be kind to others as everyone is burnt out. :) Overall, looking very much forward to the rest of my stay and hope to return before the end of the year.

The bad 1. Delayed check in. Was told somebody would call me when room was ready, but received no call and checked with reception at 4pm and room was actually already ready 2. Booked using a gift voucher. And nowhere in the gift voucher or confirmation email did they indicate I had to present the physical voucher (literally a A4 paper with no chops/signatures). Was told I would be charged for the room if I did not present the physical voucher and gave no other options 3. Call concierge to deliver matchsticks but had to call again to remind. Only got it after an hour. 4. Room was a bit dated and not super well maintained. 5. Stranded in the rain at the bus stop outside and called concierge for help but no answer 6. If the above came out from a 3 star hotel it would be perfectly acceptable. The good 1. Well manicured garden grounds.

Had an amazing time at the Sofitel in Sentosa. The staff were amazing, super friendly and the food at the Cliff Restaurant was top level. Big shout out to one particular staff member Mildra in the Cliff restaurant who was the nicest and most helpful person and just made the experience that much better.

I had 2 adult and 2 kids staying in the 1 Luxury room. We stayed 3d2n and everything was very pleasant. Quite the opposite from the reviews posted here. Covid restrictions are inplaced and guests should do their homework and book all the relevant restaurants and facilities before their arrival. That was what we did and everything went smoothly. My kids enjoy their stay. Food at the Cliff and Kwee Zeen were excellent! We had no issue using the pool. Staff there were hardworking and friendly, especially the younger ones. Thank you Sofitel! We will never forget our lovely experience with you!

Tired looking place in need of a retouch. The lift to rooms looks ancient and makes a scrapping noise when the doors open/close. Many of the furniture and items like tissue holder are chipped and old, the place did not feel luxurious at all.

Was a bit worried about the negative reviews but the stay was perfect. The lady who was at the counter and who helped us check in at around 745pm on 8 Aug was quick and helpful. The room was luxurious and loved the bathtub. It is also a suitable distance away from the crowded part of Sentosa so if you want peace it is a great place to stay at.

Good hotel but can be better. Love the airiness and the landscape but not a fan of the FLOOR TILES on the hallways and at the pool side. Be extra careful especially when wet. My daughter slipped twice during our stay luckily she’s ok. Employees were OK but there’s a lot room for improvements.

Booking was done through the system, and it was quite smooth. The check-in and checkout process were smooth, and the staff members were so friendly, kind, and helpful They attended to our requests such as coffee machines etc immediately and followed up through the phone as well Our room did not have the better view, and we were facing the gym and construction site. Decent breakfast buffet offered with variety of options(Indian food was not good) The windows of the room were a little dirty and when we entered the toilet, smell was so bad. Price was little high for the given quality and facilities.

Absolutely amazing!!! Relaxing!!! Quiet!! Peaceful!! Restaurants was good enjoyed the dining experience, cocktails was great!! The only thing I can fault is the bed, which admittedly I had better sleep by the pool side. Bed is very important, then in the room. Room was spacious, only issue there was dip in bed, and pillows were terrible. Was a very relaxing hotel with beautiful gardens & water features. More 4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

The place you want to be for a mountaintop view. Luxurious atmosphere, with very laid back beach resort vibes that we like! Several restaurants to meet your preference, be it chill at the cafe vibes or dining with a view vibe. Service crew are friendly all-around too. Nice to just walk around the hotel premises for a calming greenery scenery. Food was average to me, but my partner enjoyed it! What I loved was the butter that came with the bread rolls before our mains arrived!

I will try not to be too critical but this hotel only deserves 4 stars at best. Rooms were decent but the bathroom water pressure was really very weak. The toilet does not have a bidet too. Also, do prepare some insect repellent as there are quite a bit of mosquitoes in the compound. The breakfast has a pretty decent spread but wished they not use Nespresso pods for coffee. Gym was a decent size with a lot of machines on offer.

Wonderfully artistically decorated resort that’s Instagram worthy photos. The room is very spacious and yes arty decorated too. Loved the shower tiles. Pool is good for swimming laps & is 2.5m deep. Staff are very friendly. Had dinner at the Cliff Restaurant. Ambience very good. Or you can seat at the outdoor seating with a sea 🌊 view. The pizza 🍕 is worth to try as their dough is freshly done and delicious. The other orders are just as tasty and great! Overall experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and would ❤️ to be back again for another R&R!

Great service from Sunati who was manning the front desk. Check in and out were a breeze. Excellent selection of breakfast choices though getting there early before 8am is a must if you want to avoid the long queue. Swimming pool has ample beach seats to chill. The bar is also a good alternative. Great view at the dining place if you pick the outdoor seating. The place is not exactly new but you still have the fantastic facilities like a good hot shower and clean bathtub. Also the room was cleaned promptly when requested.

Upon check-in, front desk did not even share about hotel amenities, restaurants or breakfast area. Told us her colleague will show us to our rooms, but the colleague only brought us out of the check-in area and told us how to go to the room and said bye. Would expect a 5-star service from such hotel as we’ve been to other hotels and they show us to the room and even showed us around the different amenities ect. Was greeted with a dusty and carpet stained room. Opened wardrobe and dusts flew out to my face. Hangers and everything else had thick layer of dusts. Opened the fridge wanting to put my bread but was greeted with flies instead. Told front desk about it and she asked if we wanted to stay in the same room and she can get someone to clean up the room while we are inside….. seriously? In the end she offered a room change and told us she’ll make sure they clean the room before we move there. So the next room was clean but bathroom tiles already came out. Stepped on 2 while showering and it hurt my feet… toilet flush was also spoilt and water kept leaking which was quite annoying. Breakfast food wasn’t good as well. Service staff seemed inexperienced and couldn’t understand when we asked if there was oat milk option for coffee. Cheese area had a lot of flies flying around and the staff didn’t even bother swatting them away. Saw the flies land on the cheese several times. Overall a budget hotel service and food standard but charging 5 star hotel pricing… not worth at all and I won’t be coming back.

Overall the staff are friendly especially at the concierge. The room furniture is a bit old. The room has all required sockets for charging. TV, mini bar, bathroom toiletries and slippers are provided. We would like to thank the staff shuttle service driver who pick us up at the bus stop right outside the resort due to heavy rain. The food at The Cliff restaurant were good and exquisite. We had buffet breakfast & dinner at the Kwee Zeen that serve international buffet. Food was nice also. Love the fish spa and bicycle rental.

Booked a Prestige Family suite for the family of 4 and I liked the feeling of being cast out of Singapore while at Sentosa. Rooms is spacious, well equipped and clean (except for the mold in the shower area); but service felt a little lackluster, professional though not extremely welcoming. Swimming pool is good and deep (2.5M), so please swim at your own risk, particularly if you have children. There is a life guard on duty but it’s always good to take precautions if you are with kids

Was given Rm 529 on 20 Dec 21 which was unmade & after roaming for 3hrs, asked Front Office if I can use the room, told me yes but never reactiviate my keys & I ended up spending another 30 min in my friend's room. The Front Office was not even apologetic about this entire event. Including Samantha, the Manager on duty.

Room was given late upon check-in. Called umpteen times for room service but no one answer. No restaurant would accommodate a family with 2adults 2kids if you did not make any prior booking because they are all FULLY BOOKED. At a hotel that you are staying mind you. No hotel staff would tell you anything. Figure to ask if I need to make pool booking and indeed yes. Same thing no one mention anything. Disappointing stay paying $1517 for a night stay. Well bad luck choosing the wrong hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

My family and I stayed at the Sofitel Sentosa Resort & Spa for my wife's birthday celebration mixed with a family holiday. Ahead of our stay, I corresponded with the hotel about organising some special activities/items and the team went above and beyond to make our stay a special occasion. The hotel itself is well located in lovely surrounds although it was a little tired/in need of upkeep in places and the gym seemed to be an after thought. We had the half-board package which was well worth it - not limiting and very good value. Would recommend.

Food was good. Chocolatier was still on the hotel map even though it's defunct - I found out when I had craving and wanted to visit. Good to remove it. Toiletries were not stocked though - after couple of pumps, lotion was empty. Will still return for more stays.
