    My friends and I checked in on 2 Sept 2021 for 2 nights to celebrate a happy occasion. Shortly after we checked in for an hour, a guy actually tapped in and opened the door. We were shocked. Then, he explained that the front desk assigned him the same room! The poor guy was very apologetic and we were really shocked that the property would double assign the same room to another guest. My friend and I were very disturbed by the insecurity that we experienced and the blunder that was made. Then later that same night, we were locked out of our room because the key cards were deactivated by the security and no one communicated this to us and we stood stranded outside our room in the middle of the night. After all this inconvenience and at least 3 times of expressing our displeasure, we were only offered an additional complimentary breakfast, late check out of 1pm and some food gifts. They said that when we return, they will offer complimentary upgrade. In addition, the air- con control was out of order and we couldn't adjust the fan speed. They apologized and said it was a system glitch and the staff did not do a proper handover when they changed shift. I felt that there was a lack of sincerity in resolving the whole matter as it concerned the security of the guests at the property.

    Great location and good service as what you can expect from Ascott. Location is superb as it's just stone throw from orchard road. We stayed for 2 nights for Jacky Cheung's 60+ concert at the Indoor Stadium. Though we could have stayed somewhere else closer to the concert venue cos we didn't come for the shopping. Strong currency makes everything expensive in Singapore. It's right next to Paragon Mall with connecting bridge

    I had an excellent stay at the hotel during my visit to Singapore. First, the location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of the buzzling Orchard. You go out and in 2 minutes you'll have restaurants, coffee shops, shopping mall and a beautiful avenue to go for a walk. Second, the hotel's amenities are top quality, the hotel is all about luxury, they even have on display a collection of LV & Chanel etc. items on their lobby. Third, the room has a spectacular view, the bed is super confy and I love that they give a nespresso coffee machine in the room. As a coffee loved I really appreciate this nice touch. The pool has a really cool design and I was surprised to see thatvthey have a fully equiped gym. My stay was absolutely perfect, the staff made me feel really welcomed and I'll definitely come back.

    At first didn’t expect much because didn’t read any review about the hotel. First impression was great because there is a long queue for checking in which mean that a lot of people likes the hotel. We got the room from booking.com and check in procedure was a breeze. The only disappointment part is there is no breakfast serve in the hotel. The room is huge with bath tub and my son love running around from the living room to the room and the bed is so comfy too. Just that the automatic lighting of the clothes cabinet can be scary at times. :) In regards to the swimming pool, the booking is quite hard to navigate when you want to book for two days. But the reception manage to solve for me and confirm my booking. The swimming pool water temperature can be better because it is super cold. Overall our stay at Ascott Orchard is excellent and might try Ascott Raffles in the future.

    Stayed for 2 weeks in November 2021, decided to write this review now after revisiting the receipts. Throughout these 2 weeks, there was simply no working internet. Despite endless requests to the front desk, talking to the duty manager (who faked her best listening face but who did absolutely nothing to rectify the problem), even speaking to the IT department 3-4 times, the entire establishment simply could or would not solve the issue. Imagine paying 300 USD per day to stay at a so called 5-star service apartment and not being able to do any work at all (or watch Netflix) simply because you do not have a proper internet connection. In 2021. After trying and struggling with this for 2 weeks, I simply gave up as I identified the issue to be an equal mix of indifference and incompetence on the part of the management and service staff. There are so many other wonderful service apartments in Singapore right now that will fulfil the most basic needs of its guests and more. You do not need to pay a premium to suffer such abuse. Fraser Suites, Pan Pacific Service Suites, Shangri La Service Apartments, even the 4 star ones like Oakwood and Le Grove have offered me the most basic decency in terms of a pleasant stay with full working wifi, and staff at the very least keen on rectifiying any issues that arise. This is strangely something which Ascott does not seem to value in providing their customers at all. Do yourself a favour, ignore the useles “oh we deeply regret but are unable to do anything” platitude the manager is going to write below, and book somewhere else for you and your family’s stay.

    When i got here, there was no one in the concierge. On top of the concierge, there is a yellow label memo that says back in 2 mins, a mobile phone was left unlocked on the desk and I couldn't find any direction where to do my check-in. I waited for like 5-8 mins before someone came back and directed me to the 2nd floor to do my check-in. While i was in the reception, i asked about ethernet connection, also explained that i would prefer to have a cable connection for internet in case they don't get what i mean by "ethernet", i was told that there is no such service. To my surprise, i found a port in the bedroom. Another thing worth mentioning, there is a bowl of fruit wrapped with tiny fly, still actively flying in it, definitely a red flag for hygiene issue. The toilet door is very difficult to lock because it was misaligned, i had to call maintenance to fix it, took an engineer some time and another came in to help, probably fixed in like 30 mins or so. Edited after a response from owner: Thank you for the prompt reply, i do understand the part about the Concierge, but was hoping there were some sign that would point me somewhere if no one is attending the concierge, may it due to lack of staff or whatever reason. (I might miss a sign, i tried looking while waiting, didn't see anything obvious). Regarding the LAN connection, i would like to be clear, i wasn't asking for a cable, i was asking if an ethernet port is available, i got my own cable. Added after a week stay: couple stain on the floor that was there when check-in is still there after a week of stay when i opt for daily housekeeping. The people who came in for housekeeping comes with a vacuum cleaner but the floor are tiles, except for the living room area where there is a carpet. The stain doesn't go away with the vacuum cleaner for sure, i was hoping they would mop it some day within the week, probably over expectation. There was a night where the fire alarm rang about 00:30 and eventually it was announced as a false alarm after about 15 mins. My colleague who had stayed here for over a month told me that it is the third time of the month.

    Location was good, connected to Paragon with skybridge. Some comments though: 1. Coffee was not replenished everyday. 2. Ran out of facial tissue paper, even after housekeeping cleaned the room. 3. The room next to ours placed their shoe cabinet full of shoes outside their door. Aside from being an eyesore, it encroaches on corridor that’s supposed to be common. I reported to operator, they said they would tell the occupants of the other room but it was never removed till our check out date.

    Great location. All of the hustle and bustle of Orchard Rd is a very short walk, but the hotel.has an out-of-the-way feel to it. If it's raining or too hot, you can easily access lots if local shopping without going outdoors.

    Nice hotel with unique decor. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Located near Orchard road which is a walking distance away. The view from the 20th floor is amazing. Staffs are friendly, helpful, polite and attentive. Excellent customer service. Love this hotel... And excellent choice for staycation.

    The worse one I've lived in SG. I received 8-10 chasing calls from checkout service during 12-12:50 am. which drive me crazy and I felt disrespected. Will never be with this hotel. more: I lived in this hotel for 11 days and on the day for checkout, Since it's a Saturday and I got up late, it took me some time for packing. But the room service kept non-stop calling me to chase me get out saying that someone was actually waiting for my room.

    The reason I hate this place, is for their service. We had booked for a one bed suite for 6 nights. The suite was clean , spacious. The room service wasn’t that great. And the front desk’s service wasn’t very friendly or helpful. We wanted a late checkout and had mentioned our reason, and there were rooms available, but they just said they were full and would just give us 30min. Wouldn’t really go back to this place again mainly because of their service.

    The room, a one bedroom suite, was well designed with every comfort we imagined. The bathroom was my favorite, our own spa like atmosphere. I love a wet room and I already miss it. The kitchen was impressive, the ultimate in De Dietrich home efficiency. We appreciated the design, so user friendly. It has raised my expectations for future accommodations. I really loved the pool and gym, since arriving at the Ascott Orchard I exceeded my activity and exercise goals daily, for the first time EVER. The gym is open 24 hours and very well maintained. Lots of families with children, that surprisingly didn’t annoy me whatsoever. 🤣 We never heard a noise unless we chose to open the windows, it was always quiet. The staff is Five Stars across the board: the Concierge, Reception, and especially Housekeeping (Saw), all deserve a sincere thank you, kudos to all.

    I'm so glad we stayed at the Ascott Orchard during our big move to Singapore. The staff team is wonderful. Special thanks to the housekeeping and concierge teams -- Ms. Zhaoquin was amazing on housekeeping and Mr. Devandran leads a wonderful team at the concierge desk. Always so helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our extended stay!

    World Class. Awesome on the outside and marvelous in the inside. Fantastic views from your hotel. Welcoming staffs. Spacious and well designed carpark. The best of all, is the building choice of interior layout.

    Starting from their Bellman, then check in, then the rooms, all was perfect. Great service, room was new, clean and complete. Meaning, room have a huge fridge, cooking area, dishwasher and washing machine with dryer. The toilet was huge which came with a tub facing the pool. Great area, it just 5 minutes walk to Paragon. Love it, will definitely return to this Hotel again.

    Situated in the centre of orchid so location is prime. Close to MRT and shopping malls. Only down side is the hotel food service isnt Halal. There is a musjid at the bottom and a connecting bridge to paragon mall

    Suite is cosy, clean and perfect location to almost everything one needs during stay. Reservations, operations and sales team are at top pace and responsiveness, always ready to take all feedback and act professionally with friendliness. One way to even up the brand is to perhaps make the continental breakfast with different options to cater to clients’ preferences, so that business stayers can have a satisfying brekkie before day starts. Overall, a great SA brand in midst of buzzing heart of Singapore.

    Great hotel / serviced apartment but they installed a central-controlled speaker inside your room at the ceiling so when a false fire alarm sets off at 1AM in the morning during weekday it can be pretty annoying and not to mention they did not provide any reason for the super loud false alarm the next day so it can also leave you feel your privacy and eardrums are not too much of their concern. But overall every good experience except that very night. In general I would say to put something I can not control inside my room yet it has so much power on my sleep and life quality freaked me out a little bit.

    Love an elegan lobby with a lot of fashionable design anda strategic location, not even 5 minutes walk to orchard road. We stay at penthhouse 2 bedroom with casa fendi furniture. Such a clean room with bathtub. Washing mechine, dishwasher all complete with the soap, kitchen appliances is complete. Toiletries is inside. Coffee and tea is provide. Huge infinity swimming pool with buliding view. Fitness centre open 24 hours. Kids and older friendly. I recomended

    3 days at Ascott Orchard is definitely not enough! My kids love the room so much that they kept calling it their home. A very homey feeling, love the decorations, love how comfy the bed is and not to mention great hospitality! The floors are great for kids. Especially the toilet floors, not slippery! Will definitely return! Thank you, Ascott Orchard!

    The 1 bedroom is very nice with a nice living room and kitchen. The aircon is very cold as well. The location is good but you still have to walk 5 to 10 mins to reach the shopping malls. Room rates are still expensive not just at Ascott but nearby hotels as well. Would be nice to see more discounts nex time around.

    The Ascott reception staff mistakenly checked the wrong date and informed us that there was no booking for the apartment during our recent stay. Upon entering the room, we were shocked to discover blood stains on the bedsheets. When we requested a change, the replacement pillowcases provided was left on the bed and were also stained with blood. Despite several feedback and the urgency of the matter, no action was taken, and the issue remained unaddressed by any staff member. As such, we went down to the reception, but the manager dismissed our concerns, claiming she had another guest to attend to. This dismissive attitude reflects a concerning level of unprofessionalism in the service provided by Ascott. Our key card was also deactivated during our stay, causing significant inconvenience and wasting our time. This failure to uphold basic services severely tarnishes the reputation of Ascott and failed to uphold its commitment to "Safety, Wellness, and Cleanliness" that Ascott claims to provide. Such lapses in service are entirely unacceptable and have left us deeply dissatisfied with our overall experience.
