Actually it is a good place to stay due to closer to downtown Singapore. But their frontline or lobby desk that service from old woman Indian so rude, harsh, and scolded to me because i need a time to late check out for 5 minutes. Never stay in here anymore or she will throw you out like a dog.

We stayed there for two nights and had a great time! This pod hotel is everything you expect for, even more. Very clean, spacious bathroom, and well equipped pod (three sockets inside, and towels are included). Lockers are huge, and very practical. Breakfast is included and there is a water fountain. Indeed as mentioned in other reviews, I think some people are staying very long term because there is a lot of stuff in the room where the pods are (hanging towels and clothes, lots of shoes, suitcases, even some small storing systems) but it was not a bother for us. The room is a bit dark and not very ventilated, but the inside of the pod is very neat and clean. I recommend!

As it suggests, this is a hostel so lots of things will be shared specifically the bathroom and the common room. On the bright side, most of the workers at the hostel are fairly nice and kind and they provide self-service toast / coffee for breakfast usually until 9:30AM except Thursdays with a different time. The hostel is also fairly central and has a good location with respect to night life in Singapore and proximity to Chinatown and other areas. However, the hostel is definitely not the cleanest or seemingly sanitary as it will be used by other people and it is also cleaned once per day. The showers are also very dirty and faucets are leaking and often make a sound. The shower rooms also always seem to be wet everywhere even on the toilets and all the toilet papers getting soaked despite there being a shower sliding door. Some of the doors seem alittle broken and hard to open / close. There is also no hand soap provided except the main faucet outside. When we got to the hostel, they let us check in early but we were only given on locker, when we should’ve been given two since we were two travelers. We only found out later when we noticed that there was a separate locker with the same number as ours so we went to ask. However, our locker lock broke and we had to continuously use a different locker. Our capsule room lock was also broken when we arrived and although it was mentioned that it would get fixed when we arrived, it was not and no one brought it up again. It seemed that even the owner did not realize our capsule lock was broken. The owner was also extremely rude and unnecessarily extra to us when we were trying to do our laundry at the hostel. We understand that laundry within the hostel is necessary but she was only allowing us to wash a few articles of clothing and kept saying our bag of laundry was too big despite how much we took out already. We also consistently asked for room service / housekeeping daily however there was always less than a 50% chance that the housekeeping would actually happen. The hostel also has a eerie smell throughout (not terrible) but something to consider and the AC in our capsule also often gave out a weird smell and was a little loud. Overall, workers here were normally nice except for the boss lady and capsule hotel is definitely getting a little older and broken or unclean in a few areas. However, it is what you pay for, so just be mindful.

I read a lot of not so good reviews and I don't understand that! I had a nice pod, to sleep in... not moldy and not smelly. Showers/toilets were clean. No noisy neighbours 👍🏻 People at reception were nice and helpful. I had a great stay over there and I will definitely stay there again in the future.

I understand that the backpacker hostels survived very hard during the pandemic, but have to say that it is not close to the top 5 backpacker hostels that I've been to. It was not as good as the Google photos presented. The photos you see on Google or other booking websites are newer than the rooms actually are. Most of the rooms including the common room are very dark. The private room I booked did not have any window and it did not smell very good, and I can hear the guy next door snoring in the night. However, if you are just looking for a place for a few days' stay, Circular House does provide great convenience where it is very close to CBD, Chinatown and many public transports. It is cheaper than other star hotels for sure, you get what you pay.

I spend 3 nights here and the worst thing that I’ve got are the services. Please, this is special notes to the Indian lady that always wear pink polo shirt, always be nice to your guest. I have hotel also at my hometown if there is my employees act like you I will fire them for sure.

Really would not recommend. The whole hostel was moldy. The bathrooms and toilets were NEVER cleaned. The dirt and trash that laid on the bathroom floor the first day stayed there till my last day. When we asked for compensation the manager told us that there is nothing that she can do. It was really disgusting.

Booked a three night stay - due to finances, myself and partner couldn’t stay anywhere else; we could only afford a single bed pod together. On arrival, staff were rude and refused that we can stay together and no refund could be given. Other people at reception were also getting turned away post booking, and saying the website shouldn’t of let us book as the hostel was full. This caused stress as it was easter weekend and everywhere was full - therefore my partner had nowhere to stay. They stated they were going the extra mile and changing the bed I’ve booked to a different room meaning I have to recheck in/out again the next morning. Attention to detail was awful - dirt and dust in the pods, and in the showers the dispensers were not labelled (I didn’t know if I was washing myself with shampoo, and body gel in my hair!). No signs for a ‘quiet’ time - can hear other people in their capsules being VERY loud until early hours of the morning - couldn’t respect other people trying to sleep. Can also hear loud music from the street, no sound proofing whatsoever. Breakfast is not included, and soggy piece of toast is. Reception staff unpleasant (2 ladies), no smiles nor good customer service. Also, there are so many cameras In the hostel which are monitored by reception staff and can watch people 24/7 while sitting there. Little bit unsettling - shouldn’t it be watched/looked back on for emergency’s/issues only? Common area is a few chairs - no atmosphere nor a welcoming area for guests. You will find the pods are dusty, and I had a wet stain on the wall of mine (dread to think what it was) - sheets not changed, dorms smell of feet. Bathrooms were clean, however could have more hooks in the cubicles to hang things on. Could put basics ie hairdryer etc in the bathroom, rather than go to reception with wet hair and ask. No pod storage, towel still wet after two nights. Unable to leave baggage after 6pm, when our flight was at midnight.

Had a very comfortable 3 day stay. Clean and classy ambience, with friendly staff. Free breakfast ( bread butter jam coffee etc). The washrooms are clean & well maintained. The capsule itself is a pretty little thing. We were mostly out the whole day, came back to sleep only.Circular road is center to many night clubs, pubs and bars, so there's quite some bustling at night. But our dormitory was very quiet and peaceful. No noise was transmitted from adjacent capsules either. The Clark Quay MRT station is on a walking distance. On the down side, there's no elevator, so the luggage has to be carried via the stairs. Thankfully the guy at the reception did that for us on our late night check-in. Also, the lock on our dormitory door was broken, which caused some inconvenience but that was repaired the next day. Overall, very good value for money. Much recommended.

DO NOT STAY IN HERE! All the recent comments are true. This is my third time in Singapore and this is the WORST hostel I’ve ever experienced yet I have to stay here for 8 nights. The rooms is VERY MUSTY and the air quality is very bad since the first day. It’s very humid that you are not able to sleep because of stuffy nose, and you will wake up at times because you are not able to breathe. And it’s musty because you only get one towel throughout your stay and there is no place to keep them dry, so people just put it at the dorm. The Chinese staffs are very nice but the Indian ones are indifferent. And apparently the person in charge does not want to spend money to fix the musty issue in bedroom and dirty issue in bathroom. So if you are considering booking this hostel, I wholeheartedly recommend you to choose another one. Seriously, I am saving your life and experience in Singapore.

Pro: Location was great near to Raffles Place and Clark Quay Metro station. There are food streets on either side of the road so a paradise for food lovers. Staff was very generous and allowed us to keep our luggage when we arrived early. Water filters were available at reception and first floor to fill your water bottles. External AC cooling was top notch. Since everything in Singapore is expensive, this is a good budget place to stay. Con: The pods are very compact so would be a problem for a heighted person. The AC cooling was not upto the mark in the pods as we had to keep the pods open in night to sleep. Washrooms were not that clean and there were 5 washrooms for too many people on the floor. You had to wait for atleast 15-20 mins each day to get the washrooms.

the hostel is at a good location, next to so many restaurants and bars but it is a very busy and noisy street at night, luckily I couldn't hear anything from my room. The capsules are fine but it was very hard to sleep due to the other guests making so much noise in their capsules. the toilets and showers were dirty, almost no soap provided and hair everywhere. I think it would be good if the toilets were cleaned more often. the breakfast is just toast, butter, and instant coffee. not worth it

After reading the reviews I was hesitant of staying there but it was a nice surprise to find that the bathrooms where actually clean, even one night the cleaner was there and if was smelling like bleach so they actually disinfected the toilets and showers, the capsules and lockers were big enough, the linem was clean and the pillows and mattress were comfortable. Unfortunately sometimes the people that arrive late were noisy but nothing too crazy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed four nights and I didn't have any problem at all.

I stayed at Circular House in August 2023. Read more bad reviews. After trying to stay there for 2 nights here is my review: • The room I ordered (2nd floor for women) was clean and didn't smell stuffy. • The bathroom on the 2nd floor is clean unlike the smelly 3rd floor. • Breakfast only Bread with margarine and strawberry jam but not limited. There is also a water dispenser unlimited and hot water. • FREE WIFI 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 • There is a steam iron. • No deposit fees 👍🏻 • Can leave luggage before 6 p.m and it's free 👍🏻 • Friendly staff, none of them were bad attitude when I was there. • Very strategic location for walking in Singapore 👍🏻

Not bad for value for money, the staff was okay. Friendly and helpful enough to do their job but nothing extra. The pods are extremely hot once you shut the door. The room the pod is in is air conditioned but the pod isn’t. In the mornings the staff was so loud we would be woken up. The showers were cleaned at least 2 times a day when we was there. The locker room had bedding everywhere, so doesn’t provide you with much room to sort your own stuff out. Also the photos of the hostel are outdated, they look similar but you can see wear and tear when you’re there. Not a bad stay, but some things to take into consideration if you stay.

You get what you pay for. First thing to say is that the staff are great and super friendly and helpful. The rooms are not great nor the showers. Location is on a busy street with lots of night life. Hotel itself is not quiet and you can hear everything everywhere.

Abysmal cleanliness. If you value cleanliness at all, this is not the place for you. Blood stained towels and sheets. Disgusting floors and bathroom facilities. Pod itself was ok but still pretty dirty. “Breakfast is provided” is technically a true statement if you consider a bag of sliced bread to be breakfast. Overall, just not clean and expensive for what you get.

Receptionist by the name of 'Harni' (Spelling might be wrong) was rude and not helpful. One of their guest asked us to send them a small item by courier to their receptionist for safekeeping before they collect it later. But the hotel refused to take it in and insisted that the guest must be around to receive the item personally. The reason they gave was 'We are afraid we lose it and cannot take responsibility'. I further agreed that they won't be responsible for the loss and we will label it clearly. They replied that 'oh when we change shift, things can get missing'. I am speechless. It is not a big massive hotel with hundreds of guests and they couldn't even sort this out. Not sure if it is incompetence or lack of diligence. I would expect this to be a standard service that hotels render to their guest but nope. Don't expect it from this hotel.

A comfortable new capsule hotel located by the corner of Circular Road, Clarke Quay and just across the street from BK Food Center. I love how the capsule was clean and comfortable and the restrooms and shower rooms are separated. The locker room is clean too but a bit far from bedroom which means I had to go back and forth a lot to bring out and bring in my stuff. The common room on the 3rd floor provides 24 hours free water dispenser and biscuits while simple breakfast only served until 9.30. Clarke Quay Central is across 2 streets and that's the nearest mrt exit (exit G) to reach the hostel.

I'll start with the good. Friendly courteous staff. Accommodated an early check-in for me at an unholy hour of the night/morning. Capsule beds are cozy and snug. Nice that there is a sliding hard door for personal privacy. The bad: It's shared accommodations. That speaks for itself. No shared facilities are going to be nice. Especially when they're shared with sketchy-looking Indian cheap laborers essentially living at the hotel while they're in Singapore on their work permits if they're not in the country illegally. I was basically the only tourist there. Room constantly smelled of a mix of body odor, old deodorant, and dirty laundry. It's hard to describe it, but it's that basic college dorm/locker room smell. It was always dim and dark in the room, making it hard to see anything, even during the daytime. The windows were dimmed too. In fact, all areas of the hotel were badly lit and dim. Even the common area at the top floor. It was like the lightbulbs had gone out eons ago and no one changed them. No privacy in the bathrooms. Everything out in the open. Sink okay but big vanity mirror makes it so that you can see people's reflection behind you, right where people are getting in and out of the shower. Wooden beams on the shower floors meant to "absorb" water do just that, and then stink. Surprised the wood hasn't rotted by this point. Staff constantly cleaning the bathroom in the morning when most people are getting ready for the day, staff member got water all over the floor and walls of the bathroom right when people were using it. It all made it much harder to use and maintain privacy. Only stayed here because it was all I could afford and was cheap. I wish the friendly staff the best but I will definitely not be back when I return to Singapore.

People were all nice but the facility is not as good as the picture. Single bed is very small and got no hanger inside. Basically the interior designer of this hostel didn’t care about convince. BUT location is perfect. Main attractions are very close to the hostel. If you are looking for a cheap place, will be a good choice.

It’s not 5 stars hotel. But a capsule hotel very useful for a short cheap stay at the expensive Singapore ! Really to close to center … 15 minutes the sand marina bay, 10 minutes to Chinatown, and 5 minutes to subway station. The area is very lively at night. The capsule are very small, right for sleep. The bathrooms are shared. A woman area exists in the first floor. There the cleanliness is not obvious unfortunately. To go there, a grab is quite simple : say circular road ! Finally, it’s a hotel for friends not for family stay.

upside bed is comfy, good location if you want drink and party downside firstly there is no inviting sign or display making it standout or look nice from the side of the street. i struggled to find it. damp smelly rooms, gloomy and little natural light, condensation builds up, unkept, bathrooms are terribly dirty (the doors are splashed with dirty mop splatters, grout has inbuilt dirt, shower glass has smears and soap scum) its actually really yucky. i only stayed 1 night of the 2 nights i booked.. as id hoped to meet people at the hostel but ended up spending 1 night with a friend

This hostel location is very near from bus stop, Clarke Quay MRT station, and some restaurants. I booked the pods with double bed, it's comfy yet clean. They also provide simple bfast like bread, jam, and cereals in the morning. Things that I love the most about this hostel is, you can refill mineral water, coffee, tea, milo, even green tea latte like every single time. The receptionist also very helpful. Thank you circular house. Would definitely back here again next time I visit Singapore.

I rather to give zero rating for this. Honestly horrible receptionist. Called to check whether got bed availability. Not even answer me but started to questions a lot of things. When I repeated my question, she talked about rules & said don’t have bed available and then hang off the phone. Show anger to me for what?

The receptionist was too slow in processing my check in. She kept on entertaining other people instead of just quickly keying in the details she needed from me and handing me the key. I literally had to tell to finish my check in first because i really wanted to rest already. When she showed me where the female room is, i was so taken aback at how dirty it was. It kind of stink as well. Then she showed me where the bathroom is, it was damp and with that distinctive stink and with flickering lights. The pod itself was worse. It stinks even more inside and the bed felt itchy i had to use the blanket as bedsheet, and even then, i still got rashes on my legs, back and arms. Definitely not going to recommend this place to anyone.

Location is good, walking distance from hawker centres and the train station. Breakfast was enough for us, tea, coffee, cereal and toast. The common space is very modern and clean. The lady who sorts breakfast out is very lovely. All the cups ect are washed in the bathroom near toilets though which I don’t find hygienic. We stayed in a double pod which wasn’t well ventilated or very sound proof. With 20 people in one space, it got very hot and smelly. The bed was clean but I feel like around the bed and the actual room wasn’t. I found what I guess is mouse poo on the lockers. I can understand that it’s not the hostels fault for loud guests but last night a couple checked in at 2am with a member of staff and were so loud! I was so confused to why he didn’t tell them that the room was full and they should whisper?! Overall, good for a couple of days as it’s in a great area and the shared bathrooms are clean.

We stayed in a private room, it was awful! Bathroom constantly dirty, A/C is just a vent that is supposed to let cool air in but didn’t do anything as it was thick with dust.. the photos are old and it doesn’t look like that. Space is tiny, was literally a mattress on a stained dirty floor with next doors bed a couple feet above so could hear everything… we tried to spend as much time as possible out of this place! The only positive was the friendly night shift guy, told him our room was so hot from the A/C vent doing nothing and he sorted us a cooler for the room and told other staff to get it checked out..

There is aircon in the rooms, but nothing gets into the pods so it was like 35+ inside our pod and it was almost impossible to sleep. The bathroom was constantly dirty. The included breakfast is only the cheapest loaves of bread and a couple bottles of cheap jam, we rather bought an egg sandwich at 7-Eleven. I wish I went to a different capsule hotel.

The staff here were unwelcoming, unfriendly and unhelpful. They didn’t even greet us by saying simply hello, just straight into what we needed to pay them. When checking in we asked if there was any chance of a late check out. We were told no and there is a charge if we are late. Ok, no problem. The manager then felt the need to message us at 11:30 reminding us of the late charge for check out. The facilities were dirty and a bit run down. The breakfast is not a breakfast. It is toast, with jam and sachets of tea and coffee. The water machine often wasn’t cold. And everything is single use - the coffee cups, spoons, plate, everything.

It's okay. I booked their private room with shared bathroom and I'm quite ok with overall service. I just didn't like their lack of elevator. I had to drag my luggages up/down the stairs from 3rd floor. 🥹🥹 They see u struggling but won't offer any help, lol. They also don't have a hair dryer. Anyway, aside from this, it's good enough for how much it's worth.

Could see that it used to be a good place but fell into bad management. The air conditioning in dorm was not strong and ventilation in the pods is weak causing the space is stuffy and has some bad smell. Feel like suffocating too while sleeping. The pod we got was not clean, we saw tissues around and there’s stain on the bed sheet. Walls in the bathrooms are full of stains and sink is always flooded. The carpet is dirty, full of stains and trash too SMELLY, STUFFY AND DIRTY in conclusion

I would NEVER stay here again. The place is horrendous. We stayed here two times (unfortunately we booked without cancellation) and both times were pure horror. The whole accomodation will have looked like the pictures 5y ago but has never been cleansed ever since. The floor/walls/locker/bathrooms are very dirty. At our first stay, the bed was clean so we thought we were overreacting. However, the second time the linnen were full of stains and there were black hairs in my pod, i am a blonde. So the bed wasn’t even cleaned after the previous guest. The breakfast is a slice of bread with jam - and looks disgusting. Long story short; the people working here are friendly but everything else is pure horror. Would’t recommend this accomodation to anyone.

All staff were very efficient and helpful especially Sam (a kind and thoughtful night-shift front desk gentleman). Spacious, beautiful and comfortable capsule - However, there were someone's nails and small belongings on the little shelf and the bed floor. Few toilets, shower units (with provided soap/shampoo), vanity sinks/mirrors for women on each floor - Some shower units has lost it clothing hooks and shower walls looked moldy. It seems no lift, but stairs. Near to at least two 24hr yummy Hawkers

The place is right in the heart of CBD. Unique pods, quite safe, decent WiFi. Can do wonders if they could clean the pods everyday! Also. No natural ventilation or lack of sunlight makes its irritatingly suffocating and discomforting. Most of the backpackers dry their towels inside the aircon space, which is unfortunate and makes it even worse. If travellers were a little more sensitive, it'd be good. The staff is friendly and supportive. Everything is close by, so no troubles in connectivity to other parts of island.

Having read the comments, was worried about coming due to cleaniness. The place is decently clean, the toilets and bathrooms have been cleaned every morning (they are shared). The capsule was tidy with no issues. The staff have been super helpful and gave useful tips on where to eat and what todo. Would deffo recommend. Do bare in mind, this place is basic and you get what you pay for. It is also in a run down looking area but it is central and easy enough to get to places. But definitely worth the money and great for travellers. This has been my first stop, back packing around Asia and has been a pleasant first stay. I have had no issues with sounds, but I understand this will vary per person as the pods are in a shared room.

Hostel was located in Clarke Quay with convenient access to all the bars and nightlife. Check in was easy. Lockers are available with many onsite amenities. Showers were clean and spacious. The capsule I rented was cleaned with fresh sheet and towels. I liked the full sliding lockable door for privacy and quite. My stay was quiet and enjoyable. Would recommend as an affordable option in Singapore.

Clean and smells good from all the general public area. I've not explored the rooms nor toilets/showers. There is no lift. Only stair case. Two flight of stair cases to rooms. Another two set of stair cases to the breakfast room.

Very close to the night life and all the central parts of Singapore. Close to mrt and has lockers for your bags. Additionally the lockable wooden door and key card access to the dorm rooms gives additional security and sense of privacy. Also very quite and friendly staff. Highly recomend staying here again

(Translated by Google) pros  - Nice location. On foot you can reach the most tourist places. - In general places it’s quite clean, considering how many people live there. Cleaned during the day more than once. Minuses  - For 4 nights, never changed towels and bed linen. - Both locks of luggage lockers did not work. A popular problem, others also had this with at least one. The low score is primarily because of this. We found 1 locker on another floor. But we have 2 suitcases and each time lugging far there is no desire :( - It smells like some harsh chemistry - a cleaning agent. Fu - A meager breakfast: only cereal and toast with jam. - The coffee machine makes strange coffee, worse than simple instant coffee. - At times it’s time to redecorate - Air conditioners are set to such a low temperature that you always had to go in a bike and look for the least blown places. All the same, a cold got out on her lip. Summary: a second time would choose a different place.

The place is awesome! Front desk isnopen 24 hours so wouldn't need to worry if you have to check in or out at an irregular time I stayed in one of the pods in mixed dorm. There's no direct aircoditioning inside the pods so it can get a little hot inside. You may also want to bring your travel adapter type-G so you can plug your gadgets in The locker rooms are sufficient for use though since it's a mixed locker room and if you're the shy type you won't be able to change clothes here for courtesy of the other guests. Breakfast of cereal and bread are great! Also, free flowing water and coffee.

Location A+ Clean A+ Interior Design C = there are no places to hang inside the pod or outside. Security C = pod 213 room the locked door was messing up the entire time and beeped the whole stay (4 nights) it was slammed so many times because of this in the middle of the night... terrible service for them not fix ASAP. Breakfast B+ The lady who does the breakfast and cleans is lovely, she is on it! Thanks to her the place is clean... Bathroom B = clean but needs some shelving installed in the shower to put toiletries and clothes! There was nowhere to put anything other than on the floor... This is a 3 star hostel.

A fantastic option for solo travelers! If you're traveling with your mom or sister, there are also queen beds available. Well, I was upset on my first day in Singapore because it was my first trip overseas, but the excellent service at Circular let me forget about my exhaustion and difficult time. The receptionists are kind (particularly the Malay one, who was quite courteous to my mom!) and helpful. They were quick to answer to all of our requests. However, if you are uncomfortable living with individuals of varied personalities, you should not stay here even for a night! During my stay, another visitor was constantly complaining about everything!!! Circular is also located in Clarke Quay, which is an upscale area, but the hotel maintains a modest pricing. Bonus: just walk less than a minute and you get to see the spectacular night view of the skyscrapers around Singapore River :) I intended to prolong my stay but had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. I ended up relocating to Geylang. Considering that Geylang is more of a suburb area, I expected that with the same price, I would've been given better service. Yet, I was quite aback when I discovered that the second hotel was not nearly as wonderful as Circular. Free-refill mineral water, tea, coffee, complimentary bread for breakfast and laundry (for $ 5) available. They lent us two socket connectors which I was very thankful of! P.S: I don't usually write long reviews so you can grasp that this hotel is truly worth it. ------- Only some notes: the bathroom was a bit dark, the lamps were not bright enough and probably burning out/dying, giving off "horror" vibes LOL I saw several reviews concerning staff cleaning the bathroom during rush hour, which I didn't mind as long as the sanitary facilities are maintained clean and free of germs and bacteria. When the lamp inside my pod died, the receptionist assured me that it would be fixed by a technician the next day (we had to wait until tomorrow???!) and when I notified another receptionist about it, she stated, "There is no technician here today." However we were fortunate enough to be given permission to move into another pod.

(Translated by Google) Strange place for an amazing experience. Claustrophobe abstain! Very economical for Singapore, about 43 euros / night for 2 with breakfast. These are not rooms but "box" with mattresses, it's comfortable. You have closed lockers for your luggage, towels and hygiene products provided, and a small lounge with hot drinks machine at will. A large fridge / freezer available and a microwave. A Drinking Water Dispenser is available free of charge. The staff is nice and available. Free Wifi, terrace for smokers. Very good location, walking distance to Chinatown and activities to the bay are 15 minutes depending on the traffic. There are many different restaurants around and you can also eat by the river. Only negative point, impossible to pay in credit card, they take only cash. (Original) Endroit étrange pour une expérience étonnante. Claustrophobe s'abstenir ! This was my first time at a hostel/capsule hotel but it's pretty good. The capsules themselves are clean and fairly roomy. They come with a flip out table, a couple outlets, a locking door (from outside too), as well as slippers and a towel. Unfortunately there are no USB ports. Lockers are located in seperate rooms and are also spacious (can fit a large suitcase or multiple smaller ones with ease). Breakfast is free and offers cereals, bread/toast, and various condiments. The washrooms are clean. Washing machines are also available although they do have a fee. The staff is friendly and very helpful in making sure you're comfortable.

The place is so dirty. The bedsheets are clean but the whole place is so dirty, it's like it hasn't been cleaned for years. The staff receptionists are rude and uncoordinated. They made a booking mistake and instead of trying to work it out with use, they blamed us for their mistake. I suggest you find another hostel if you want to enjoy your stay in singapore.

I'm actually surprised why this hostel has a low rating in Agoda. My friend and I stayed at Circular House last November for just 1 night coz we had a 1 day layover in SG before heading to Bangkok, and the place is actually pretty good. Rooms are decent, very cold ac, not too crowded. Clean bathrooms, strong waterflow shower, individual locker, free breakfast (simple braekfast). Everything went well. Also, the hostel is in Boat Quay, a lot of bar & restaurants, convenience store nearby. This is one of the cheapest hostels you can find in Singapore.
