Of
all
the
options
that
we
were
presented
by
our
travel
agent,
Taveltine
was
the
only
one
that
had
availability
and
in
a
good
neighbourhood,
so
we
had
to
block
our
rooms
for
the
dates
that
we
had
planned
to
travel.
Checkin
was
a
bit
long,
as
the
tired
us
waited
out,
they
genuinely
tried
to
give
the
five
of
us
across
two
rooms
in
the
same
floor,
however
they
wanted
to
give
a
comfortable
room
to
my
senior
citizen
parents,
so
they
had
to
be
booked
a
floor
above,
reserved
for
differently
abled
guests,
thankfully
it
was
spacious
and
very
comfortable
for
them.
On
the
contrary,
the
room
that
we
were
given,
was
small,
if
not
tiny,
for
a
triple
accomodation
with
no
place
to
unpack
or
even
keep
our
suitcases,
there
was
a
small
wardrobe,
that
doesn
suffice.
The
bathroom
was
even
tinier,
with
just
a
sliding
door
that
does
not
lock.
When
requested
for
a
bigger
room
they
said
all
rooms
are
of
the
same
size
across
the
property,
when
requested
for
a
bigger
room
like
that
of
my
parents,
they
politely
refused.
They
have
a
beautiful
pool,
on
the
rooftop,
with
a
fantastic
view
of
the
city,
especially
the
direction
overlooking
the
marina
bay
sands,
and
Singapore
flyer,
and
the
part
that
overlooks
the
nearby
lake,
unfortunately
in
our
packed
schedule,
we
did
not
have
time
to
dip
in
the
pool.
The
staff
genuinely
try
to
be
helpful,
but
somehow
they
come
across
as
a
bit
rude,
and
less
helpful.
There
is
no
help
around
getting
your
luggage
delivered
to
your
room,
you
had
to
do
it
yourself,
when
inquired
they
said
they
are
running
low
on
staff,
especially
post
covid.
They
have
no
room
service
and
you
have
to
come
down
to
the
restaurant
for
lunch
and
dinner,
thankfully
they
don't
mind
you
bringing
food
from
outside
and
eating
in
your
room,
they
do
help
with
additional
disposable
cutlery
if
you
need.
There
is
the
hawker
center
style
Golden
Mile
Foodcourt
just
across
the
road,
a
minute
walk
and
an
overbridge
away,
there
are
vending
machines
that
cater
to
your
every
snacking
and
drinking
need,
and
a
7-11
just
across
the
street,
3
mins
walk
away.
The
saving
grace
was
the
buffet
breakfast,
for
sure
and
the
neighbourhood,
