I'm giving this star rating based on the hotel being advertised as a 4 star. If I were to classify it myself, it would be a very low 3 star hotel, but definitely not 4 stars. Good: 1. Female staff member was nice, and was happy to provide us with as much water as we wanted. 2. Bed was nice, and mattress was firm. Bad: 1. There were stains all over the ground. 2. Room was quite small. 3. There was dust throughout the cupboards, and obviously not clean enough to use. 4. The shower had a single soap dispenser as a "3 in 1" for shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Whilst not the end of the world, I've never seen a 4 star hotel skimp here, and most 3 stars would also provide all 3 separately. --- Summary: The hotel was okay, nothing special. For the price I'd have expected better, especially as I saw they were advertising last minute rooms for almost $600++ and this is a max $100 room at best. If you're just looking for a bed to sleep in, however, this place is great (price aside).

Originated from the name: Premier Inn Hotel, then Destination Hotel, to now Traveltine Hotel. Its still the same newly built hotel, located just beside The Landmark, Golden Mile(Little Thailand). Beautifully built, new and comfortable rooms to stay in. Well facilities with a great roof top swimming pool. Very convenient location, with access to foods, entertainment, shopping, public transportation and some places of interest... Prices are reasonable with all the above mentioned. You will love this place...!

Bad service ! On 2/12 we arrived at the hotel, after checking in I checked the luggage and found everything was fine. On the morning of December 4, when I picked up my clothes to wear, I found that my luggage was all wet. My luggage is always in my room and I always leave my suitcase open. Although the outside of the suitcase was still dry, the inside of my clothes was wet, and there was a smell of urine, very open and rotten. What happened to my luggage??? The hotel housekeeping came into my room to clean and left the room door open for a long time, something happened, But the hotel side did not take responsibility or solve the problem, they dumped the room. fault us. It's stupid!!! We then had to take our own clothes to the laundry, and re-wash our suitcases. They don't have an apology. I found this to be a bad experience. You should stay away from this hotel.

Good location. If you like street food, just cross the connecting pedestrian link from the hotel lobby. Having a Wonderful Experience at this place😃👌

Very nice location! Small family rooms. Nice and clean. Rooftop pool open until 22! 20 min or so from the airport. Food court on the other side of the road. Easy walk to metro station and Arab street with lots of food and bars

Nice hotel and very friendly staff. The room are not very big but comfortable and clean. For those of us who find it informative the bathroom is equipped with jet spray. Breakfast spread is nice. Overall recommended by me👍

We chose this hotel because its value seemed good. Bed was quite small (queen size). Otherwise the room was comfortable, nothing to say. The location is good, but the access to “Lavender” station is complicated due to roadworks at the moment we visited. However the yellow line is closer (4 minutes walking) and has a quick connection to Marina Bay. The rooftop swimming pool was very much appreciated.

Great hospitality, very beautiful hotel with friendly staffs. Room is clean and elegant. Comfortable at its best, i couldn't get out of my bed. Hotels with jet spray will always be at the top of my list. Breakfast is fantastic and my wife loves it. Highly recommended!

I planned a family Vacation to Singapore and was expecting a pleasant stay at your hotel as your hotel qualifies the so called 4-star category. But, unfortunately to my surprise, your hotel staff made sure i had the most horrific experience of my life. Extremely rude and uncooperative staff. You guys clearly don't know how to take care of your guests. They act as is they're doing us a favour by providing rooms especially when we pay a heafty amount and expect nothing but kind cooperation in return. Talking about food , it's nothing but waste of money. I would not suggest any Indian travellers to opt for this hotel. Instead stay in a service appartment and you'll be happy. Highly disappointed.

Okay, nothing much to complain. I got a room at 5F Which did not have a view. Check in was smooth, rooms were okay. I booked for a night as it was close to Singapore's indoor stadium, where I was going to see a concert.

Our stay at Hotel Traveltine was memorable, fantastic and hassle free. - Receptionist were very accommodating! We even checked-in in advance (4 hours before our actual check in!) with no additional charge! - We had the Family room which is more than enough for us (2 kids and 2 adults). The beds where very comfy and clean; 1 queen size bed and 2 single beds (for the kids!). - Toilet/washroom was clean as well with included toiletries (hand soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste etc.). - We stayed for 4 days / 3 nights, the housekeeping cleaned our room, washroom and made our beds (twice even without advising them!) and changed our towels too! - Breakfast was included in our booking and it was splendid. It was buffet style (can choose for 3 available types of breakfast). - Check out was smooth and hassle free as well! Overall, we will 100% book and stay at this hotel again! Thank you to all the staff (from Receptionist, F&B and housekeeping department!)

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. I booked the room on Agoda, but when I reach he hotel they say they cannot find the record. We nicely waited at the reception for like 50 minutes for them to find out why. We provided all the details for them like confirmation emails etc. When we asked them about the progress, they gave very rude attitude saying they are busy working on it. And they said “why don’t you ask Agoda” “why not you just go cancel and ask for refund on Agoda”. Eventually they checked us in as if giving us a huge favor. They never explain to us what went wrong and which party’s problem it is. They have never gave any apology for the inconvenience. There are a million ways they could have better. Work on it pls.

This hotel is ok for stay. -But they do not provide room service. -Ac sometimes go hot. -bathroom door locks not working -they do not provide hot milk in breakfast. If they claim themselves 4 star hotel they should not miss with all these services. What really upsets me is the reception guy in the morning. He was so rude. I was confirming the breakfast for my boss who came for 1 day and we had paid extra night charges for the same. He was like " I don't care whoever he is. Your boss cannot have breakfast " and he ordered me that he wants to speak him right now just like i am his servant. It made me really upset. This guy in the photo attached does not deserve this job. Useless person who seems frustrated in his job due to no job satisfaction losing his own customers. The 2 reception girls where very good and friendly. They apologized on that guys behalf. I would request management to look over this. Honestly I rate this hotel 2- 2.5 stars.

Located on the beach road walkable distance to several shopping streets. Rooms are very small with queen beds and no storage space. Not enough space for large bags. You will be walking and skipping over the luggage once inside the room. No bathtub in the bathrooms. Indonesian house keeping staff were very polite and friendly. We had a lot of confusion in room allotment as it was done through an agent and the reception staff treated us as if we were there to stay for free. Not very courteous as one would expect a help desk to be. Breakfast was very good with some asain and European options. Coffee was terrible!! A collection of Kiosks at the entrance were good for snacks and drinks but most of them take only $1 coins or $2 note, so carry lots of change. Also we were told the 2 reception staff at night were the only ones serving the entire 15 storey hotel at nights. So don't expect any service after 9PM.

We enjoyed a short stay on our stopover in Singapore. They had our room ready for us far ahead of check in time which was amazing after a long flight. The service staff were all very helpful and friendly. Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, great location, fantastic roof top pool, nice sized rooms. Cons: Beds are on the firmer side (quite common in Singapore though) Was a very good stay at the hotel and we would definitely recommend it for a nice stopover or staying a few days.

Great location, close to literally hundreds of cafes & restaurants. Room was a little small but neat & clean. Bed was a bit hard and pillows definitely needed replacing, they were all flat & lumpy. One of the cheaper hotel accommodation places in Singapore. Reception was a mixed bag depending on who was on duty. Some were fairly robotic, didn't greet you or smile, others were friendlier.

Please do not select this hotel is you are looking for a pleasant stay. Went for a family vacation and it was the worse choice I've ever made. Extremely uncooperative and rude staff. Pathetic food. Poor quality of rooms. Over-all a horrible experience. The staff has some next level attitude and they don't belive in helping their guests and even don't respect them at all.

I recently stayed at Hotel Traveltine for four nights, and I must say it was a good experience overall. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was comfortable. Hotel Traveltine's convenient location near all attractions made our stay even more enjoyable. It was so easy to explore the nearby sights and return to a comfortable room at the end of the day. Highly recommended for its proximity to attractions! One of the highlights of Hotel Traveltine was the rooftop pool. It provided a perfect place to relax and unwind while enjoying a stunning view. A great addition to an already pleasant stay!

Stayed two nights at Hotel Traveltine. The room was spacious, cozy and comfortable. There was a one King size double bed, sofa, large TV with other amenities. There's a roof top swimming pool and its now open. Still there is set menu for breakfast and no buffet is available. Staff is friendly and helpful. Loved the stay and highly recommend.

I had a good stay here for my solo trip in Singapore, like the lobby decoration and how it is located close to the MRT and Haji Lane/ Arab Street/ Geylang area. Highly recommend if you're looking for a safe and nice place to stay.

Hotel Room: I stay there for 9 days ,the room got some mouldy smell but generally it looks clean and very reasonable room size for 2 person. Shower: water temperature and pressure is not enough. Refrigerator: it is not cold enough. :( Location: Rooms conditions are to be improved but the location is really excellent ! There is a hawker Center opposites to it which has lots of nice food and famous food stalls. If you wish to have some international food , just walk toward Bugis direction, (in 5-20 mins walk )there are tones of good options to serve my 9 days meals. There are 2 fruit stalls in the estate, it will be good to have some cut fruit from there. I have been to Singapore for 4-5 times , this hotel definitely has the best location ! Transportation: it is just 5-7 mins away from the Nicole Highway station and around 10-14 mins from lavender station (green line , good for go to airport, but you have to walk through the estate ) And there are quite a few bus station s nearby. Got a good pick up area for calling Grab/taxi !

Booked with Expedia which is my go-to travel app. Great location as it is close to MRT and room is bigger than most hotels within the same price range. Room size is not bad since it is Singapore.

The rooms and service is pathetic. The staff is as rude and as insulting as it gets. They humiliate you , misbehave with you if you are an Indian . Americans and Europeans get special treatment as it's a racial discrimination at peak in this hotel and we experienced it first hand when we asked for simple coffee spoon that was in hotel that didn't come back. The hotel has special tie up with Indian tour agency's hence they don't care to deliver service . Don't stay here .

We came with a group of 41 people . Nice arrangement done of rooms . We liked this hotel rooms as we were 3 they gave us a double and a single bed so we can sleep comfortably. The breakfast is a type of English breakfast. Either you have to eat bread or non veg or fruits . It's not good option for vegetarian people . The service is excellent . No words to describe the service . We can see lot of vending machines in this hotel . We cannot get taxi easily here so we can download a app named Grab for taxi . Swimming pool is on the 17th floor. It's on the rooftop . It's very clean and they have used a lot of amount of chlorine in it . But this is a good hotel and I personally recommend it .

Of all the options that we were presented by our travel agent, Taveltine was the only one that had availability and in a good neighbourhood, so we had to block our rooms for the dates that we had planned to travel. Checkin was a bit long, as the tired us waited out, they genuinely tried to give the five of us across two rooms in the same floor, however they wanted to give a comfortable room to my senior citizen parents, so they had to be booked a floor above, reserved for differently abled guests, thankfully it was spacious and very comfortable for them. On the contrary, the room that we were given, was small, if not tiny, for a triple accomodation with no place to unpack or even keep our suitcases, there was a small wardrobe, that doesn suffice. The bathroom was even tinier, with just a sliding door that does not lock. When requested for a bigger room they said all rooms are of the same size across the property, when requested for a bigger room like that of my parents, they politely refused. They have a beautiful pool, on the rooftop, with a fantastic view of the city, especially the direction overlooking the marina bay sands, and Singapore flyer, and the part that overlooks the nearby lake, unfortunately in our packed schedule, we did not have time to dip in the pool. The staff genuinely try to be helpful, but somehow they come across as a bit rude, and less helpful. There is no help around getting your luggage delivered to your room, you had to do it yourself, when inquired they said they are running low on staff, especially post covid. They have no room service and you have to come down to the restaurant for lunch and dinner, thankfully they don't mind you bringing food from outside and eating in your room, they do help with additional disposable cutlery if you need. There is the hawker center style Golden Mile Foodcourt just across the road, a minute walk and an overbridge away, there are vending machines that cater to your every snacking and drinking need, and a 7-11 just across the street, 3 mins walk away. The saving grace was the buffet breakfast, for sure and the neighbourhood,

The hotel is located in a nice location with some good cafes and places to visit near by. The size of the room maybe considered small by some people, but it was adequate for me. As someone who has been to a few hotels around the world I can say I have seen smaller rooms. Cleanliness ✨ This goes without saying in Singapore, but honestly one of the cleanest hotels I have seen in my life. If I drop my food, I would not be worried about the 3 second rule. Five stars 🌟 to the housekeeping team, you guys are champions 🏆 I even did a cleanliness check with blue light and also checked for dust on top of TV, bed head and picture frames. Everything was spotless. Staff 🧍‍♂️ Overall the staff are very helpful and nice. There was a young man at the front desk on the day of my check in (sorry bro, I was too tired after a long flight to ask your name) who was very helpful and answered all my questions. I had a few issues as well that he fixed promptly. There was a lady at the desk the next day who also had very good customer service and hospitality skills. I do have to mention one staff who was rude, or funny (you be the judge). With the very friendly staff on the night of my check in, there was another man working at the front desk who either thought I don’t understand English or that he was superior to me because of reasons I don’t understand. Sorry to break it to you mate, I’m from an English speaking country 🇦🇺 and no you are not as smart or funny as you might think. And now let me tell you about the showers 🚿. It’s so CLEAN!!!! Even the grout is clean! Tea and coffee ☕️ in the room, a nice Nespresso machine as well. Overall very happy

Firstly the location is very central and the MRT is less than 10 minutes walk. Golden mile food court is across the road. The rooms are well maintained and clean. House keeping is great. There is a small pool for relaxing as well.

Rooms and location is fine but service and breakfast is pathetic. They escape their cleaning responsibility in the name of COVID and clean rooms only alternate days even in 2022. Breakfast option is very limited. Vegetarians will find it very difficult to have anything there as their breads also have egg. Their fruits are also not good. In vegetarian, they offered Indian bread (chapati) and curry (some kind of gravy) which was so bad that though we paid for breakfast but didn't have anything for most of the days.

This is a perfectly comfortable and ample base for a Singapore stop-over. Front desk staff are polite and appear to be proud of their property. Calling for an iron from house keeping by phone had delivery to the room in less than 5 mins in what I assume was peak iron hour. Breakfast is done under set menu choice system. I think if you were staying for multiple days you would quickly tire of the selection. The roof top pool is amazing and it is just 700m to the entrance to Arab Street. Highly recommended.

Wasted 4 nights here, as we had prior bookings and could not get a refund. Very small rooms, small bathrooms, no warm welcome, no hospitality. Nothing feels like a 4-star international hotel. No one will carry your luggage upon arrival, the breakfast is at worst you can imagine. There will be nothing available in breakfast buffet if you go after 9AM. Everything will be on order, and it will take upto one hour for order to come. The breakfast has capacity of over 50 people, but only 3-4 people are there to manage. Lower level staff is nice, the people who do room service are friendly and will assist you instantly. But the reception staff is not that great. The person managing the breakfast buffet was highly rude. All over staff has no etiquette on how to talk to international travellers. The room service will be on alternate day basis only, but you can get towels, water bottles etc upon requesting to reception. Some good things include the rooftop swimming pool, warm water in bathroom with soap and body wash dispensers, cabs available nearby, liquore and non-veg (Thai) food court right across the street. All in all, Singapore has many other high end hotels, pay a little more, but stay at good hotels when you are travelling internationally

Hotel Traveltine is right next door to Arab Street and some great food. Location is fantastic, Little India, Bugis, Orchard, Clarke Quay everything is just 10 mins away. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very hospitable service by the staff. The breakfast buffet had everything for vegetarians included. Lots of options. Perfect start to the day. Perfect stay option.

Hotel traveltine was a good place to stay. The hospitality of the hotel was wonderful, the food was wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic connecting to another place in the city was very easy. The dining area was awesome ,even though food options were very limited, the beverage options were sufficient. The reception staff was very cooperative and helpful. The overall experience was very good, best wishes for the hotel traveltine management team.

I had a really challenging start to my trip to Singapore. My friend was denied entry and due to personal circumstances I had to leave after two days rather than stay the full duration of our 2 week trip. Despite how upset I was feeling, one of the staff members at this hotel, her name is Harmony, was a complete blessing in disguise. I am so grateful that she was the first person to greet and welcome me as I entered the hotel. It is very rare to come across someone that has found a way to be efficient at their job but also be incredibly pleasant, and take time to be empathetic. After a 20+ hours flight, and a trip that fell apart before it could even begin, Harmony somehow managed to make my stay a lot better. I am forever grateful for her kindness and hospitality. Staff like this make hotel experiences incredible and worth going back to.

Rooms are not big but everything clean. Breakfast is OK but kind of expensive. Better going outside. Very near to Arab Quarter with lots of Middle Eastern restaurants but also many others. The main attractions can be reached by walking

  • 3/5 Roberta Z. 1 year ago on Google
Really good location, next to the Haji Street, where you can find a variety of restaurant, bar, stores and night life. Unfortunately, the hotel has molded smell, because of the humidity, which almost of all the places in Singapore. If you have any breathing problems don’t go there. We changed the room and it was the same problem, then we need to use the air to reduce the molded smell. It was clean, but of course, something in the cover in the bathroom or curtains were dirty. The mattress is hard. Breakfast without warm milk (I think it’s the culture there), but it wasn’t exceptional, it was ok. They are in renovation stage, maybe it will be better after it.

Quite a walk from the MRT though its pretty close by. Better try the circle line then exiting through Lavender station. Pretty close to Bugis Junction and close to Beach Rd where quite some street food and local stores are. Room is decently sized and I would gladly pat that price for the room

  • 4/5 Gabe S. 11 months ago on Google
Ok let’s start with the good things: - Nice, somewhat central location for the price - Rooftop pool is great and offers amazing views (though not as picturesque as more expensive hotels because the location is somewhat away from where all the iconic buildings are located) - Rooms are small by US standards but seem spacious for over here. However they aren’t the most efficient with using space and lack things like hooks for jackets/caps, good nightstand or nice shelves - House keeping is quick and efficient. Was out of my room for 30 min and they had cleaned it. Ok now the not so great: - Gym is hardly a gym but still is better than nothing I guess - Breakfast is $35 if you decide you want to eat here - Found some dust behind/on the desk lamp in one corner of the desk. Gonna chalk it up to an anomaly but thought it was worth mentioning cause stuff like this only take a single wipe to clean and should be covered in room changeover Overall it’s a nice hotel and I wouldn’t have a problem staying again but I would look elsewhere if you really want nice views, a good gym, affordable breakfast and quality customer service and premium rooms. Would give a 3.5 stars if I could but I feel like the dust picture plus a 4 star rating does the same.

The location is brilliant, lots of different food choices available, from food court to expensive restaurants in the arab quarter, vegan restaurant in 5 min walking distance, golden mile is next door for a Thai experience, kallang park is 5 min away - ideal for walks and running. you can reach little india in 15 minutes walk. lots of choices. The room is a little simple and old but clean and quite The star is the roof terrace pool!!!! The views are spectacular I booked already again for my next stay

First time to stay here. 5 days stay. PROS: CONCIERGE/STAFF: Fast check-in and check-out Direct to the point front desk staff Housekeeping prompt and cleans well Rooms are quaint, with dental kit, free water bottles, kettle, mugs and complimentary coffee/tea; double lock on doors, quiet halls (as long as neighboring guests keep the chatter to a minimum during wee hours) and fast elevators ACCESSIBILITY: Bus stop is around 40 secs walk MRT around 2-3mins walk LOCATION: City Gate Mall with scrumptuous thai restaurants is around 3min walk Opposite end, Golden Mile Hawker's Center (and a 7/11 just around the corner) CONS: ROOM: Please give other pillow options :) Bed, quite tough/hard as well. Staff/Security will not initiate help. Hospitality needs to improve. Ex: we just got to the hotel straight from the airport. Tired and weary, we had a difficult time navigating the do's and don'ts for bus rides/mrt. We asked the security personel for assistance -- gave us tips on how to install taxi apps. We were thinking more like help us book a ride already -- which he still did not. We were too tired to go back and forth to the frontdesk, thinking that they might have suggested the same thing. Hope the helping hand is extended more the next time around. Overall, the stay was pleasant, trouble-free and we will explore the 700 restaurant and other hotel amenities the next time we visit. Thank you Hotel Traveltine, and thank you, Mr. Steven Tang. Until next time!

Either for recreational or business purpose, Traveltine suits the best. Overlooking Singapore's iconic landmark, you can definitely have a comfortable stay admiring the beauty of the garden city.

Worst hotel ever. AC that smelled of mold, damp bedding, stained towels, poor cleaning service. It doesn’t even meet the basic requirements of a 4 star hotel. It‘s perfect for ruining your trip to Singapore after coming this place because of good value for money. A clean capsule hotel might be better. And this hotel doesn't even care about these reviews.
