The Space pod at hive hostel Singapore was a mind-blowing experience. I thought it would be very suffocating and claustrophobic, on the contrary it was very comfortable. I slept well. It was spacious and everything was provided and arranged in an organized manner. It had blanket, not one but two pillows. A towel. Three fans. Reading light. Working table. Two hangers. Very comfy and very economical. The breakfast at the hostel was also lovely. We had a full stomach before starting for Universal Studios. They provided eggs, butter, coffee, tea, juice, corn flakes, bread. Toilets were also clean. Good experience. I recommend.

If you're on a budget and looking for a hostel to stay in Singapore, The Hive Hostel is worth considering. However, it's not without its drawbacks. While the dorm rooms are clean and comfortable, they can be a bit cramped, with little privacy. The bunk beds are close together, and there's not much space to move around. Additionally, the noise level can be quite high at times, which can make it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Another issue with The Hive Hostel is the lack of communal spaces. While the rooftop terrace and lounge area are nice, they can get crowded quickly, leaving little room for guests to relax and unwind. The kitchen facilities are also quite basic, which can make it challenging to prepare your meals. Overall, The Hive Hostel is an affordable option for travelers on a budget, but it does have its drawbacks. The cramped dorm rooms, noise level, lack of communal space, and occasionally unresponsive staff can detract from the overall experience. However, if you're looking for an affordable and straightforward hostel in Singapore, it's worth considering.

Maybe 1 star for the friendly reception. But I don't recommend it. Cleanliness: This hostel is not clean. Toilets are dirty and pee is all over the place. Hair in the showers. Bed sheets and towels are provided and are clean. Experience: I got a capsule. The room is air conditioned. But the capsule is not light fest. There are women with their kids crying in the room. Location: Far away from marina bay. Had to walk 5 km after midnight.

Capsules are okay, missing some features, the toilet/shower/bathroom situation is a bit complicated. Staff (when available) is very nice.

We were very disappointed with our stay here. Seems like the hostel changed a lot during covid. Many working long term guests and families. No other backpackers at all. We wer looking forward to connect with others and have the nice time others recommended here :/ And: NO FREE BREAKFAST. Although their advertising outside and in the hostel kitchen said otherwise. But after one hour of waiting since there was no one at the reception and no one answering our text, we finally found out they quit that. Receptionist gave us 5SGD to get ourselves some toast at least. Toilets and bathrooms dirty, some people don’t know how to pee inside the bowl, Long Brown hair everywhere. Kitchen and Fridge full of plastic bags. Space pods were nice and clean. Rooms with good locks and big lockers.

Even though the poda are nice and well cleaned, the bathrooms are horrible, not clean, same bathroom for males and females, the lobby smells like mousse pee

Great hostel to stay. The receptionists were really friendly and helpful. Value for money, the location is near the subway which is perfect to go around the city. I spent 3 nights here and felt like own home in singapore.

good location , if you take taxi from changi airport , it will cost you $20-30. it is quite basic accommodation, room is clean, shower area is clean but the toilet is bit smelly. if you expected very quite night, this hostel is not for you as it is very noisy from the main road. check in - check out process at this hostel is quite easy even you are checked in very late. with the room rate you can't complain much

I loved that place, I used to be there twice. The reception is just very great and informative, they helped with some stuff and also, they kept my shirt after I lost and they gave me back when I returned after a week. (Sorry I forgot your name,) The pod/capsule is awesome. Ventilator, many colors, UV light. My bed was always tidy after I came back. Thank you so much for the experience and being a part of my asian trip! :) Salamat!

It's a cosy budget hostel. We stayed in a room for four with shared toilet and shower. The room was clean and the bunk-beds were comfortable. It felt safe. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Towels can be rented for $2. The Hostel is next to a busy road, but it wasn't too noisy in comparison to some other places in Singapore. Simple breakfast and hot drinks were provided by the hostel. We would stay again if visiting Singapore.

I would really recommend to stay in the double space pods as they are an affordable option to explore Singapore and are so cozy and the fan keeps everything cool inside. Reception is really nice and helpful with tips to explore the city as well. It is a common living space and lots of people are using the few toilets so unfortunately some spaces aren’t the cleanest but great for a couple nights.

This hostel truly exceeded all expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the facilities are spotless, the location is perfect, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This place sets the bar high for hostels. I'm impressed by their commitment to cleanliness and the vibrant social environment. I can't say enough good things about this hostel. It's like a home away from home, and I'll definitely be returning.

Overall great value por the price we paid. Sharer room with good air-con and clean enough. Lots of toilets and showers everywhere with nice a hot water. Laundy and dryer is free!! Breakfast is basic but good! Coffee and tea free all day and drinkable water. The staff are very helpful and informative. They let us doing the early check in and have breakfast on check in! Good wifi and not very close to the city but close to lot of stations. I would recommend this place 👍🏻

I booked a Space Pod and I was very pleased with the condition of the space pod. The bed sheet, the pillow and blanket was clean. No weird smell and I also got a clean towel. The room itself was very clean, and they also provide slippers for us to use during shower. Breakfast is provided but you have to cook your own breakfast. Got eggs, bread, salt & pepper, jams, etc. The location is very good. it is near to two MRT station and Bendemeer (Downtown Line/Blue Line). I highly recommend this place for a short stay.

😠 First time in Singapore and the worst experience I’ve ever had in life. We didn’t like the beds and told the front desk we didn’t like it and we want our money back. They didn’t give our money back and we were kinda forced to stay just because our fees were not refundable. Very very congested. They...
