The lobby area is quite relaxing. Dorms area is pretty spacious. But the toilets aren't clean as you'd expect in a clean place like this. It could really use some regular cleaning since many people are using them. Also, the the air conditioning isn't cold enough, especially if you close your blinds, since there isn't enough air coming in so it's gonna get pretty hot.

Ridiculously overpriced!!! The place is nicely designed, but after all I slept in a 16 bed dorm with lots of noise. Earplugs were displayed on the pillow and also a bottle of water. Bathrooms are quite dark. Worst part was the breakfast experience. Considering the amount of 60SG$ they use mainly one way plastic bowls, spoons and cups.No knives, no napkins. When I asked why I should leave the wax paper on the plate the waitress responded that they were short staffed and have to save time on the washing up of the plastic plates. I stay now around the corner for 17$ with a similar breakfast with 6 people in an AC cooled room that is even quieter. I cannot understand the positive reviews about this place.

I love this place. Location is awesome and right smack in Chinatown where the local food is, AND the best quaint nightlife is right behind it! The beds are clean and comfy, and they have personal lockers in your cubicle itself. Best way to stay in Singapore if you're looking for an affordable stay without wasting your money on expensive hotel rooms. And I've been back here twice!

Good value for money, splendid location, comfortable and clean rooms with much needed privacy. Stayed here for three (3) nights total in the vault room. First night was difficult as everything and everyone was unfamiliar. It was made a little easier thanks to the friendly and helpful staff (Rozy) who pointed out the best places to eat etc. Staff are here 24hrs, and even when I woke up sneezing at 4am I was able to get their help in adjusting the air conditioning. Overall, my stay here has been agreeable and I've even made a friend or two. Would definitely consider a second stay.

Honestly this place was really cool. It seemed to check all of the boxes. The king sized bed in a dorm room was really cool because it felt like we had our own private room. Bathrooms were nice and the showers were hot. The coffee shop downstairs was perfect when we needed to get some work done. They even provided us with a free latte each day we stayed at the hostel which was great. The best part was the location. So close to the MRT made it a perfect hostel. Would 100% stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here while in Singapore. I stayed at the mixed "king size" bed on the 4th floor. The bathroom was always clean and the bed/pillow/ sheets were SO comfy! We stayed on the top bunk- and i suggest you try to avoid the top bunk or the bunks near the entrance door. 1) The top bunk does not have a "roof" over so you can hear everything very well throughout the night and also if someone turns the light on as well. It feels less private. 2) The door also is pretty loud as you open and close- so if you are by the door... I can not imagine being able to sleep the whole night. 3) It is very cool (temperature) in the room but they only give one blanket (it's a twin size). So we had to ask for another one. 4) very close to all the food market, china town, metro! Overall it is a very nice hostel for the price and I won't kind staying here again if I visit.

Stayed here for 4 nights on my back from backpacking in Europe, and it has to be the best hostel I have ever stayed at! Rooms were clean and well presented, VERY affordable price, comfortable beds, hotel like shared bathrooms, and top it off free breakfast! The location is great as Club Street is directly behind the hostel (I never heard any noise from the bars or pubs at night apart from general traffic) and Chinatown is across the road. Will definitely be staying here again.

It's surprisingly comfortable! The location is right at Chinatown, the chambers are comfortable with decent space for your stuff. The shared toilet had privacy enough to feel comfy with your shower. The beddings are clean and crisp. The folks are nice and helpful, and you get to meet a good number of travellers and professionals. I look forwars to staying here again.

Good location, nice fancy hostel. Double bed room great if your able to snag it for cheaper then usual $100. Showers/bathroom bit on the small side. Easy for dry clothes to get drenched. Great small selection of free breakfast goodies/tea/coffee in morning to get you started for the day before attacking local cuisine.

Stayed for 5 nights in June 2017. A great hostel in Chinatown within a quick walk of the MRT, as well as shops, restaurants, bars, etc. The queen beds are in 'pods', separated from the common area of the room by curtains. However, these can prevent air conditioning from reaching the beds at times, which can make them warm. This was not a huge issue, as we opened the curtains before bed to let the cool air in. Free breakfast was provided, which included powdered eggs. However, everything was served with disposable plates, cutlery etc., which seemed quite wasteful. Nonetheless, our stay was enjoyable and we would consider staying at Adler again.

The location is unbeatable! We were in the heart of Chinatown, so every type of food and shopping was available. I stayed in “bed in ivory” in the mixed dorm & the space exceeded my expectations. There was plenty of room for my things and I felt at home in my private space. Thanks for the comfortable stay.

Very polite and friendly staff. Staff offered free shower even after checkout. Easy check in and out. Location is very close for shopping, bars, foods and temples.

I have to visit Singapore every few weeks for work and I absolutely love this hostel. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, the curtains give you some privacy. The breakfast is good whether there is quite a variety of spreads for your bread and a small hot buffet selection. The lounge is excellent and very conductive for doing computer work. The staff and other guests here are really friendly and courteous making the stay here much much better. My Tip: Top bed offers more privacy and some 'me' time, do email the hostel if you are arriving after 10pm for late check-in instructions...

😠 First time in Singapore and the worst experience I’ve ever had in life. We didn’t like the beds and told the front desk we didn’t like it and we want our money back. They didn’t give our money back and we were kinda forced to stay just because our fees were not refundable. Very very congested. They...
