I wish pictures and entrance of a hotel can do justice to the rooms. Rooms are small and very basic and rusty. You can see cobwebs in bathroom. The hotel has terrible bathroom. its the size of a cabinet with shower just about the WC. you need to stand around WC to take a shower. Such a waste. The reception staff was not at all helpful but the location is good. the rooms are terrible and bathrooms are pathetic. No room service. Even will charge 2 SGD for a bottle of water. Save your day. Don't book.

We checked in past 12am with my 82yr old grandmother and asked the reception if we can checkout late and he agreed that we can stay until 3pm but the indian reception the next day around 40 yr old was very rude and started yelling cause he said he has the right to do anything and told us to leave the inn premises or he will charge us 30$ without even considering my grandmothers situation. NEVER BOOKING THIS INN AGAIN. NOT THE BEST PLACE TO STAY. Better look for another property where you are free to use hair dryer, towel & etc w/o additional cost and cleaner toilet.

The hotel is close to a main train station and shopping mall and that is the only good thing about the hotel really. Rooms are tiny and not what they look like in the pictures. The bathroom is tiny and has no ventilation and is covered in mold. The water is not hot in the Shower and the water runs all over the floor when you use the shower - USE THONGS ON THE FLOOR! Reception barely speak any English and were not very responsive.

On arrival the checking in was straight forward. We were given the remotes for the TV and the AC - first time I’ve ever been given these at reception! Room was tiny and not the cleanest of places. We were only staying a couple of days and the hotel was chosen for its location. Expensive for what we had, however this is Singapore! Not great, but not too bad.

Good budget hotel. An excellent combination of price and quality. Rooms though small but very cozy. In Singapore, just pay more and get a room even smaller ;) The only negative for me is the noise outside the window. But these wooden windows add charm and style of the rooms. Be sure to come back here again.

The rooms are smaller than they look in photos. Bathrooms are also small. An old building but clean enough. And the staff help for anything you need. Good location near the Farrer Park MRT station and trade centers of Little India. A good budget hotel for Singapore, but I think you may find something better.

STOLEN ITEMS! Platinum and Diamond Gold Ring, Gold Necklace and Cash 8th of October to 9th of October 2023 we occupied 2 rooms. Room 102 was occupied by my wife and her mother. Room 103 occupied with my mother. We left the room 5pm on the 8th of October for Garden's by the Bay, Observatory Deck and Marina Bay. Checked out the next morning ar 8 A.M. I left my wallet with Cash in my small luggage bag since I only used my debit card. We simultaneouly checked our doors were surely locked as we came out from rooms 102 ans 103 at the same time. Fastforward we checked out October 9th and went home by bus to Malaysia. When I was back in Malaysia, I checked my cash from the wallet and found out nothing was left. There were Malaysian Ringgit cash, british, scottish and irish bills all gone as well. My wife also checked her stuff and she was tormented when lost her Wedding Platinum and Diamond Ring, Pandora Gold Ring, ans gold Necklace and I just found out she also left her jewelry box inside the luggage unlocked. There must be a thief who had access to our rooms while we were gone. Be warned everyone!!!! Avoid checking in this hotel and ignore all the good reviews. Aside from the stolen items. Room has a bad smell, sink with molds, small tv and dusty curtains

Clean and decent place to stay. I'm just happy to get a place to sleep after concert. They also will consider for you to check in early if the room is available. Not really near but not too far from the Farrer Park MRT.

The room was very small but neat and clean. It was budget friendly hotel. AC , geyser, TV, and kettle were available in the small room.

Nothing like the pictures. Very shabby, cheap, dirty around the edges, small bugs, and stains. No sheet, only torn, sad thin bedspread. I wouldn’t mind this so much if room rate was reasonable for the dinginess, (say $30/night?), but it was listed at around $100 and with discount, I paid close to $70/night, way more than property is worth. Also, internet continually cuts out, even overnight when use should be low. This was the cheapest I could find in the city for the dates, but very bad gouging none the less.

Staff was nice, rooms were tiny, you can’t even put your stuff on floor. Shower was just on the door. not recommended

Unfriendly check-in, mold on the ceiling, no cleaning between nights, towels not changed, noisy, no trash bin.. Unfortunately the worst hotel I have ever stayed in… Not sure about who usually stay here, but they apparently have an issue with people stealing the TV and AC remotes..

Not too bad but I ain’t prefer to stay in Asphodel again if I have other options available around the neighborhood The area actually quite nice. Near with MRT & bus station, food all around was good too. Been staying for 4 nights, only got the room cleaned once. though maybe their regulation is upon request, that only 1 time we asked, they said due to lot of check out they only can change towel and top up the toiletries n water. Last day, we asked for getting water, they didn’t want to give as in 2 hours we will check out (check out time 11am), my hubby pushed back and said we didn’t ask to clean our room the day before that’s why water was not refilled. Just by then we finally got 2 new water bottle. If so stingy, please consider provide dispenser! Room small, old key I can understand consider where the inn is, but the wall is too thin or what, first night can’t sleep! I keep hearing people from other room talking. Even when they shut the cupboard the loud noises made me jumped from sleep. the bed sheets get so dusty me n hubby keep sneezing every night.

    1) The rudest staff I have ever seen in my life. The reception guys is like evil, I don't know if he has an idea of one should behave if he's receptionist of a Hotel. 2) And there's only staff called a receptionist sitting. If you don't bring the remote while checking out, that guys rudely asked us to get it back showing the remote that bro it's already written that you need to bring this back, go back and take it now. 3) One more interesting thing happened with us while checking out. We heated our food in kettle and when we went back to take our luggage, the receptionist lady asked us that that's not acceptable as it was a water kettle and we.need to pay fine of 50 sgd. We apologised for doing the same and the kettle was in working condition after washing it. But they're like whatever that is, you pay 50sgd fine or take this kettle with you and bring us a new kettle. We had our flight after 4 hours. And it was the worst someone can ask from guests, because we didn't damage anything, and it was ridiculous to ask 50 sgd fine for using a 8sgd worth kettle for heating food. 4) Moreover, rooms are so small and it's just bed and washroom no other space at all. Spend some more money and don't get your trip spoilt by staying here. I really don't recommend this place at all to anybody. It feels like the staff has some grudges with you and idk how this Hotel is functioning in a country like Singapore. 5) Also, don't trust 5 star reviews from guides here on google, those are paid and fake, and it's not worth spending a penny on this Hotel (self service rooms for stay). They only give 2 water bottles for free and if want extra they charge 2sgd.

Pros - Budget hotel in Little India area - Very near to Ferrar Park MRT station - Lots of eating options for Indian food - Mustafa Center is just 2 min walkable distances Cons - Rooms are small but 2 adults + 1 kid can accommodate on large bed - Only one window is there for a room so less ventilation/sunlight but air conditioning is there Overall my stay was good. Don't expect much from budget hotel.

If I could give this hotel no stars I would, photos are not like my room, ac is not great, washroom is very dirty . Would definitely recommend everyone to find another hotel or pay a little more to get a better room somewhere else. This ruined my vacation. Found bed bug on my sheet, killed it and checked out. Dirty sheets also. 🤢

The room was decent, they daily changed the towels, great location (near City Square Mall & MRT Station & Terminal Bus Farrer Park) & the receptionist very helpful when I had problem with my debit card. I've seen others review about the bathroom, I must agreed with them, not too clean, I mean it's quiet old building & actually need to renew the bathroom. And also, please remember , the edc machine ONLY accept local visa/mastercard

Small room but very clean and and comfortable with excellent care from staff. Lovely location close by major mall, mrt, and lots of temples and good food places. If you are looking for a clean safe base from which to explore Singapore this is a decent choice at a budget friendly price.

Rooms are small but for 2 people it's enough

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in any country. (1) Rooms are so small, one can just go to a washroom and come back to bed. That's it. (2) Cleanliness is bad. All wood interiors are old & window doesn't close fully, AC is the olden days type. It either runs with heavy fan, or it doesn't run (3) They don't provide water bottle in the room. Everytime you've to go down to the reception and they'll count and give 2 half litre bottles as if. (4) They don't have any staff working except one receptionist at the entrance. So while checking out if you forget to bring the AC and TV remote, you've to go back and bring it yourself. NOT AT ALL WORTH PAYING THE PRICE THEY'RE CHARGING. THIS ISN'T A HOTEL. THIS IS A WORST PLACE THAN A FREE DORMITORY GIVEN.
