Very
good
location,
only
a
few
metres
from
Bugis
MRT
station.
Walkable
distance
to
the
marina/esplanade.
Simple
but
OK
breakfast
provided.
-
Beds
are
VERY
small.
I
am
165cm
tall
and
I
could
not
lie
down
straight
in
the
bed.
The
walkway
through
the
bedroom
is
just
big
enough
for
1
person
to
walk
down
-
you
cannot
unpack
etc
in
this
space.
There
is
very
little
space
other
than
the
cupboard
under
your
bed.
However,
the
main
problem
with
our
stay
was
that
the
hostel
was
overbooked.
The
staff
then
felt
it
was
acceptable
to
walk
into
dorm
rooms,
wake
up
sleeping
customers
and
demand
they
move
beds
between
the
hours
of
2
and
5am.
People
were
then
packing
up
their
belongings
(staff
turned
the
lights
on
to
allow
for
this),
and
another
person
moved
into
their
bed.
Sheets
were
not
changed
between
each
person
staying.
When
we
complained
at
the
time,
staff
stated
they
did
not
work
here
(a
BLATANT
lie)
and
laughed
in
our
faces.
No
one
knew
what
was
happening
-
people
were
returning
to
their
beds
to
find
someone
else
sleeping
in
it.
One
man
got
very
aggressive
and
almost
started
fighting
with
the
stranger
in
his
bed
(before
he
realised
he
had
been
out
drinking
with
him
previously).
The
next
morning,
we
complained
further
and
demanded
our
money
back.
In
7
years
of
staying
in
hostels,
I
have
NEVER
felt
I
had
to
move
out
of
any
hostel
immediately.
It
was
unsafe
for
us
to
stay
here
as
the
staff
admitted
they
did
not
know
the
identity
of
the
people
staying
in
our
dorm
(which
incidentally
does
not
have
a
lock
on
the
door).
Staff
were
very
reluctant
to
refund
our
money,
and
insisted
we
pay
for
the
night
in
question.
We
asked
to
speak
to
a
manager/owner
repeatedly
but
we
were
met
with
many
excuses
(the
owner
is
not
in
the
country,
I
don't
have
access
to
any
cash,
we
cannot
do
refunds,
etc.).
Eventually,
we
got
a
refund
for
our
remaining
nights
but
we
were
significantly
out
of
pocket
at
having
to
change
hostels
so
last
minute.
At
no
point
did
we
receive
an
apology
for
our
unacceptable
stay.
