The number of bed bugs bites I have received are insane. Cleanliness of the place is questionable. Disgusting place. If I were homeless, I'd prefer sleeping on the clean streets of SG, at least there's no bedbugs there. If any of you (including the owners) think that I'm bulls***ing, please feel free to pm me and I will gladly provide you some proof via photos.

It was an okay hostel. Well lit and a very good wifi. Air-conditioned and clean bed but other than that, the room was quite crampy and small. You can use locker you want to keep your valuable items. A very friendly owner and cheap hostel. Few mins walking to aljunied mrt station or bus stop. Near to many chinese eateries and bakery or fruit stalls. Few mins walk to atm and geocery store across the road.

Disgusting. Do not go to this place. Horrible HORRIBLE bathroom scenario where the shower head is right next to the sink and facing the toilet. So basically the bathroom is the shower. So the floor is wet and disgusting .Incredibly squeaky dirty beds in very very tiny rooms. Junk all over the place in the hallways. The entire place stank horribly. Zero security, the area is also very dirty. Even the walls were dirty. And some guy was clearly living there, eating what I think was cat food dirty hot dog chunks out of a bowl his hands. All the individual things wrong with it were enough to leave, let alone them all combined.

We order 3 beds in a 8 mix dorm and found our beds are extremely disgusting though the reception told us they had do the clean up work. There are blood and garbage on our sheets and the sheets are a mess, just looks like someone just check out. The most disgusting thing is the blood is not an ink, I could tell it's a fresh blood. Other thing, the bathroom is smelly and awful, smells like pee. And the whole property is not clean, it's not well cared. The only One star is for the reception guy gave us new sheet, though the new sheet is clean but didn't look clean, there's still some stain or blood ink on it. I wonder if the staff know what bleach is. It's cheap but wit re same price you could found a much more clean hostel.

Got bedbug bites all over my body from sleeping on mattress. The shared bathroom n toilet are not cleaned. Only bonus is the location near MRT,cheap stay and convenient foods.

This palce isn't recommended. It is smelly start from the reception and the bed is full of bed bugs. I have complaint with the owner, but he isn't nice and ask me to sleep on the floor. This hostel is full of immigrant workers and you will regret to live in here. Bad smell, bed bugs and inhospitable owner. It will ruin your experience to stay in here.

These guys are super nice. This place had a real homey feel. It's nothing fancy, but it's cosy and welcoming

For the amount of money you paid, can’t really complain. They let us check in early. Room is relatively clean. AC worked well. Bathroom area is a bit questionable...so we try to minimize using it... we were touring around most of the day anyways. Location is super convenient. The MTR is right at the back. Foodcourt, convenient stores just around the corner.

The host Mr Abi is a very humourous and hospitable man. He genuinely cares for his guests and treated us like his friends. Very thoughtful, cheerful and passionate to people and his business. The hostel is clean and has all basic amenities. The mattresses of the bunk beds are brand new, toilets and floors are clean, wifi is strong, plenty of wall fans, lockers and simple breakfast provided. Modern and minimalistic design of the hostel suit travellers of all ages and at a great price! The location is just beside the mrt station and though it is near the red light district, there are more food eateries than anything else. Be assured that you will be well taken care of by the excellent host and your stay at Urban Hostel will be enjoyable and comfortable.

Just okay. Cheap hostel and location os good nearby AlJunied MRT. Walks by about 3minutes.

Abi the manager tried to make my stay the best comfortable as possible, the whole team is really kind and always giving the best for the clients. The location is perfect, so close from the MRT, I have stayed for a month there working everyday on my laptop, leaving my stuff everywhere and I have to say that security is 100%... Beds are really comfortable and services in general work perfectly... include breakfast and coffee during the whole day! It is a good place to stay and also affordable due to the expensive Singapure is...

I have booked a mixed dorm. The owner gave me $6 SGD discount to transfer to a female dorm. Staffs and owner are nice and welcoming. He even gave me the ukelele since they're not using it. Safe, convenient and comfortable place to stay. It is beside Aljunied. and there are a lot of places to eat around. Supermarket is nearby this place too.

The property has a good location. It places next to the Aljunied MRT station, only about 5 minutes walk. Some of the rooms have air conditioner, some (downstair) don't. My bed was a bit squeaky, it emitted some noise. My friends and I stayed for 4 nights but on the third evening (after a long day outside), we found they had moved our belongings out of the room (4 over 9 beds), they said they thought we had left. When they realized they were wrong, they tried to convinced us to move to a worse room (with only 2 beds for 4 people) instead of giving back our places. Some other guests were in that situation too (I observed 3 cases), late at night with beds taken, quite unacceptable. There were several bathrooms and restrooms around but they were not really clean, once i caught toilet tissues scattered on the floor. They also didn't have enough locker keys (only 7 available when we asked for 9). My locker was also not durable, I could pull the handle a bit strongly to open after it was locked. We checked out early on the fifth morning and the receptionist was not there but it was a good point that they returned the key deposit money after we left via bank transfer. Overall not as good as expected.

Basic accommodation in expensive Singapore. Choice of bathrooms. Superb air-conditioning. Excellent WiFi. Decent common areas. 100m to Aljunied MRT station. 🇦🇺♥️😎

3 night for 6 people 301 singapore dollar/friendly staff/ free breakfast/ 3 mnutes walk to aljunied station/ loacl food was cheap compared to lorong 12-14 , like 3 sg dollars /trong WiFi, beautiful common room, large shared kitchen,Great value for money for a hostel compare in japan dormnitory . nice bed for a hostel.

Sir Abby is so accomodating and friendly. The place is spacious and clean. Plus you can borrow a hair blower for free 😁😊
