Booked
a
bed
here
for
two
nights,
as
I
was
in
SG
for
a
short
trip
to
watch
a
concert.
This
hostel
is
perfect
for
those
who
want
to
stay
within
budget,
and
are
used
to
backpacking/budget
travelling.
If
you
bring
large
suitcases,
it
would
probably
be
hard
for
you
to
bring
it
upstairs.
My
advice
would
be
to
leave
it
at
the
reception
first,
let
the
staff
know
through
WhatsApp
(they
respond
fast)
and
kindly
ask
for
the
receptionist/staff's
assistance
once
you
spot
them.
Many
people
have
issues
with
self
check-in.
I
personally
don't
mind
the
self
check-in,
as
social
interactions
are
a
bit
strenuous
for
me
at
times.
The
location
is
great,
super
close
to
Haji
Lane
and
other
Kampong
Glam
attractions.
It's
close
to
bus
stops
and
MRT
stations
too!
There
are
two
7-11
nearby
to
grab
quick
meals
and
drinks
in
the
middle
of
the
night,
if
you
need
so.
I
will
say
that
I
had
a
pleasant
stay
overall,
aside
from
one
issue
of
a
longterm
tenant's
snoring,
which
really
disturbed
my
sleep.
However,
this
was
quickly
resolved
the
next
day,
as
I
asked
the
staff
if
I
could
move
to
a
different
floor
and
he
agreed
to
it,
even
apologising
profusely
for
the
disturbance.
For
future
travellers:
if
you're
someone
who's
a
light
sleeper,
and
you
aren't
comfortable
with
sharing
bathrooms
with
others,
don't
stay
here.
Or
just
don't
stay
in
any
form
of
hostel/capsule
hotels.
Choose
a
hotel
with
private
rooms
instead,
which
will
certainly
ensure
your
privacy,
comfort
and
soundproofing.
If
you
still
want
to
stay
here,
you
could
actually
ask
the
staff
for
ear
plugs
if
you
worry
of
noises
at
night,
or
bring
your
own.
My
other
issue
would
be
the
bunk
bed,
but
I
think
it's
because
I'm
really
short
that
I
have
troubles
in
climbing
up
and
down
the
upper
bunk
bed
😆
so
if
you're
short,
make
sure
you
get
the
lower
bunk.
The
bed
is
pretty
comfortable
overall,
and
the
shared
facilities
are
actually
kept
pretty
clean.
It's
just
that
other
guests
would
sometimes
forget
to
clean
up
after
themselves,
and
have
their
luggage
out
in
the
open
in
the
rooms.
Then
again,
that's
part
of
the
adventure
of
being
a
budget
traveller,
you
learn
to
just
tolerate
others
eventually
😜
I
have
to
give
a
shout-out
to
Amin,
the
receptionist,
for
being
so
kind
to
me
during
my
stay
despite
my
social
awkwardness.
He
helped
me
with
directions,
giving
tips
on
where
to
best
buy
souvenirs
and
also
where
to
get
halal
food
on
much
affordable
price.
He's
also
a
warm
person,
really
helpful
and
isn't
shy
to
strike
a
conversation!
Here's
another
tip
to
future
guests:
be
kind
to
the
staffs,
and
surely
they'll
be
kind
to
you
back!
Treat
others
the
way
you
want
to
be
treated,
okay?
Thank
you
Beary
Best
Kampong
Glam,
I'll
surely
stay
here
again
in
the
future
🙌🏼
