I
believe
this
is
a
prestigious
hotel
in
Singapore.
We
stayed
for
8
nights
in
this
location.
It
is
in
a
lovely
colonial
style
of
building,
but
nothing
inside
the
room
shows
signs
of
being
room.
Room
and
the
amenities
are
bright
and
clean,
and
the
staff
is
courteous
and
helpful
at
all
times.
The
locality
is
not
central
to
the
tourist
hot
spot,
but
bus
stops
and
a
subway
station
are
within
5
minutes
of
walk.
My
9-day
stay
there,
however,
was
not
perfect,
blemished
by
flaws.
Our
first
day
check-in,
two
rooms,
next
to
each
other
were
assigned
on
the
first
floor.
There
is
a
small
green
landscape
just
outside
the
rooms.
Unfortunately,
the
rooms
are
directly
across
from
the
hotel's
huge
air-conditioning
compressor
&
condenser
room,
loudly
blowing
air
out
toward
one
of
the
rooms'
window.
My
friend
had
to
request
a
change
to
a
distant
room.
I
stayed
in
the
next
room
for
one
night
without
sleep,
even
with
my
earplugs
on.
In
addition
to
airplane
propeller
like
noise,
the
bathroom
sink
leaked.
When
I
turned
on
the
water
to
wash
my
hands,
the
water
was
flushing
on
my
feet.
The
water
in
the
shower
could
not
recede
bc
it
was
clogged.
Next
morning,
the
staff
moved
me
to
another
room.
It
was
nice
and
clean.
But
my
luck
was
still
following
me
or
what.
Two
nights
in
a
roll,
while
I
was
taking
a
show,
the
hot
water
just
stopped
flowing
after
2
minutes.
No
water
coming
out
while
I
have
soap
bubbles
all
over.
Well,
next
night,
the
same
problem
repeated.
They
did
finally
fix
this
problem.
Everything
else
about
this
hotel
is
great.
Perhaps
just
water
jinxed
me.
Perhaps
the
hotel
should
insulate
those
two
rooms
to
sound
proof
before
they
assign
them
to
guests,
and
they
should
prioritize
water
flow
and
sinks
inspection
too.
