Had
a
room
booked
and
paid
for
in
advance
with
this
Hotel
for
an
upcoming
trip
to
Singapore.
Unfortunately
had
a
medical
issue
and
doctors
note
which
meant
I
could
not
get
on
the
flight.
Messaged
the
hotel
asking
if
there
was
any
chance
of
a
partial
refund
or
maybe
even
days
they
could
give
me
for
the
future.
The
answer
was
no.
I
know
they
CAN
do
that,
they
are
well
within
their
rights.
However,
it's
not
good
customer
service,
and
when
you
work
in
the
sector
of
tourism
or
customer
service
then
you
really
do
want
GOOD
customer
service.
I
have
a
feeling
a
lot
of
the
competition
to
this
crowd
would
have
either
partially
refunded
the
cost
or
given
me
discounts
for
nights
in
the
future
as
they
would
have
got
the
money
eventually.
Treat
people
well
and
they're
more
likely
to
stay
with
you
in
the
future
I
am
not
likely
to
stay
here
for
when
I
get
better
and
do
fly
to
Singapore.
