One of the worst hostel I have ever stayed. After killing 6 bedbugs, I decided to wait to sunrise in kitchen to check out early. I had to sit in a kitchen with a mouse and lots of beatles. It is a shame place for Singapore hospitality.

Rooms are ok, bed's too, but rest of accommodation is horrible. Only two showers and two toilets for about 20 guys (minimum I guess). Same for the girls. Men's toilets looked really dirty and without maintenance. Social area is alright, bit small for the amount of people that can stay in the hostel though. Unfortunately no place to really cook food, just a microwave.

Very bad hostel. Full of Indians who do their business here & fly back. Every evening drinking sessions go on. The lady at the counter believed to be Bangladesh or Pakistan nationality. She doesnt understand English properly. You mentioned one thing & she will understand the other. Communication problem with her. The other guy who is Filipino understands English well & can communicate easily.

If you are expecting it to be a hostel for travellers and expecting to see people from all over the world, this is not the place. Not being racists but it's main audience are Indians. Lobby TV blasting with Indian mtv and movie. If you like some cultural shock, this the place. If you can stay here, you are ready to visit India. Definately rooms for improvement especially on the guests handling side and the cleanliness.

This place was horrible and the person said your booking was cancelled. I didnt look at the reviews before booking. Please complain this low budget indian hostel to sg government this ruins tourists coming to singapore.

We had an wonderful experience during our last tour to Singapore. We were on a business trip for about a week and we were looking for something inexpensive to cut down our budget. Checkers Backpackers has all the basic needs what you need while you stay abroad. I am satisfied with cooperation from Mr. Philip during my stay and Happy with the services against the amount i paid.

Before i come to Singapore i booked this place and said i will be arriving after midnight. When i arrived at this place, the place was closed and then i called the number that they gave. They are very rude and made us wait for 30 minutes. When the manager arrived at checker's backpackers, he said that he already gave my room to someone else because we didn't show up and he didn't know that I'll be arriving after midnight

It was dirty everywhere. I don't think they even change their sheets. The bathroom was way too small with 2 shower rooms for 30+ people. Don't even try to save money by going to this hostel. Just go to a more expensive one and save your life. 🤗

This place is disgusting. Mold spores on the walls next to the beds, bathrooms so foul I skipped a shower, and bugs! The pillowcase they gave me was filthy, and when I went to take it off to exchange it, I found that the pillow itself was covered in someone elses fresh blood. At the price were paying I certainly would not expect luxury, but there is no excuse for mold, roaches, and bloody pillows. This place should be shut down.

Because of this place i have my new standard for the worst hostel. I stayed at 6 bed mixed room. The bed is dirty, covered with bed bugs. Crawling on the curtain too. Room is really dirty, you can found a lot of hair on the floor. Air con not that helps, wifi connection is on and off. The bathroom is very dirty, you need to pass the trash box. Smells really bad, it seems people here peed all over this place. Only have 3 showers for the whole hostel. It seems the third floor of this hostel used as a boarding house for indian, when the door to the 3rd floor opened, you can smell the "nice" aroma from their clothes hanging on the ladder. The photos shown on the description is a fraud. This place located in front of nightclub which really noisy til morning. If you are interested to try new experience staying in the worst hostel ever, this is the right place. Good place for youtube to make a staying at the worst reviewed hostel in singapore content.
