Awesome place to be for backpackers I stayed here for 7days and i never wanted to leave this place. The dorms and bathrooms were neat and clean. Breakfast was basically coffee , tea , bread , butter and jam but that was more than enough for us. A good common area is there for us chill with the everyone over there. They also have cheap attraction tickets. I got a bed in a 8bed mixed dorm for around 19SGD. It is located in lavender street ., around 1km away from the metro. Almost at the heart of the city.

Five because Desmond (without his tutu or his Deckers) made an effort with people and remembered and used their names, very professional and caring. A maximum three for the other guy who looks unhappy to be working there and had the sense of humour and professionalism of a lettuce. Three, as right now I'm feeling generous. The location is fine and there's a spacious but divided communal area. Breakfast is breakfast but not as you know it. Packet, white sliced bread, some preserves, and one toaster for forty guests, packet coffee as well. The place needed some common lights in the capsule sleeping area downstairs ..

Good location, nice facilities. Chose a capsule bed which was cool- get your own space, your own locker etc. can do laundry and rent towels. Air condition is too cold.

Facilities themselves are good. The capsule style is pretty cool. Breakfast included, but it's just powdered coffee, white bread, and jam. Paid for air conditioning but came in to find it turned off and the room hot several times. One thing that might be a deal-breaker for some, though: huge security issue. All the lockers in the rooms are opened by any of the RFID bracelets that they give you. That means any of the six people in your room can open your locker whenever they want. In fact, new arrivals are likely to open it accidentally as they try to find an empty locker. Really not cool. Halfway through our stay (of three nights only) we were told that we would need to relocate to another building because no one else was staying in our dorm. This was really inconvenient as it required us to repack everything and it was pouring out. We think that they wanted to relocate us simply to Dave on the AC.

Nice hostel but doesnt seem very secure. Once in the hostel the rooms arent locked. Booked 8 bed got a 24 bed. They do have pods which are nice with plugs. Lockers are very small. Cheapest i could find and is exactly what you get for price, would stay again

I was excited to give this place a great rating until 2 nights into my 3 night stay they randomly and somewhat rudely decided to move us to another part of the hostel without any good reason. I think it was to save electricity, considering they turned off the AC and hot water on us (not that there was really any hot water to begin in). Where we previously were, in the section separate from the front desk was actually much nicer than where they put us now. Overall, nice location, reasonable prices and cool place. Security is weirdly awful tho, our fab opens all the lockers in our room, which means anyone can get into any of the lockers... man in the front keeps obnoxiously singing, which seems to be an attempt to divert me from my frustrations....

The Little Red Dot is located within convenient walking distance of two major metro stations on two separate lines, which makes it easy to navigate the city. The staff have been absolutely wonderful in not only checking me in and managing my stay, but also in extending me twice now. While I've not experienced their standard hostel on Lavender Rd, I have stayed in their second location, which is a capsule hostel, and it has been top notch! The capsules themselves are spacious, with ample storage for luggage and the like. The communal showers have never been so packed as to cause any delay in my plans, and the breakfast of toast, jams, hot tea, and coffee has been enough to help get me on my way. Each of the other guests have commented on how much they've enjoyed staying in the capsule hostel, and how it's exceeded their expectations.

Perfectly fine hostel, but staff was not cooperative during complications on their side. During our three night stay we had to be relocated to different rooms twice due to two separate power outages. Instead of a 6 bed dorm we were put in a crowded 16 bed dorm and had only cold showers. Hostel staff was unwilling to agree to a partial refund or even honest apology.

Nice enough rooms, hot showers, good price, and a good location. Decent place to meet other travelers too. Some people stay up half the night in the common area hanging out but it won't bother you if you want to get to sleep early because the rooms are well sound proofed. Staff are also super friendly! Definitely recommend it!

I love love loved this hostel. It has the friendliest vibe ever and there are awesome common areas. The rooms are aced all day long and the bathrooms are clean. I met the coolest people here. I really don't wanna leave.

I spent a summer here. There were some onset issues and other minor management issues, but that’s to be expected. The staff were excellent and the location is fantastic. The layout is well done and while the bathrooms are not huge, they are well done. Memories were made along with friendships that have lasted a very long time. Their deck is fantastic. Once a month I consider going back, and I was there in 2011!

Edit: rats. Good for budget travellers or layovers. However, there’s many things to improve. The sheets are as old as time, fully stained, with hairs, and really don’t seem like they change them from guest to guest. They only offer a pillow and a very small blanket, that you have to place strategically to sleep covered (and that’s not clean). The rest is great, free breakfast, they let you use the facilities before check in (at 3pm).

The lobby is creative and relaxing. Free breakfast got me sold, dog on some toast and jam sandwiches for no price is ok with me, saves some money. I was in the pods and I thought those were awesome, kind of like a morgue. You got your own deal and it feels nice, pretty spacious as well. It was a comfy place. The lobby is an outside type of thing so don’t expect a 5 star hotel entrance with a chandelier. Downtown line is near, hop on and go boogie in the D town.

So far my experience about this place..is...for sleeping is good.. but sadly..since here is covid 19 situation.. they is so many humans which staying here and they don't understand and lack of respect to other people..so I think at this moment I think this place not safe your management maybe can issue any letters to the guests..to ensure they understand and follow the rules to avoid any misunderstanding

The Little Red Dot is a very nice hostel, well situated and the female dorms rooms were correct and materases of good quality (just a sheet to protect from blanket would have been nice) ! Most of all I must write about the staff who had been very friendly and helpful with me as I was going for a trip to Vietnam and then back to Europe, I have been a bit in and out of the hostel and needed to let my lugage, and they have been very flexible ! I wish you all the best and thank you

Friendly staff and nice lounge area. It's somewhat close to little India which is one of the better and cheaper places to find food in Singapore. It has a metro station close-by which is very useful. Breakfast choice is limited when we were there, but at least you can eat as much as you want.

😠 First time in Singapore and the worst experience I’ve ever had in life. We didn’t like the beds and told the front desk we didn’t like it and we want our money back. They didn’t give our money back and we were kinda forced to stay just because our fees were not refundable. Very very congested. They...
