Blew my mind as it wasn't like any of the other neighbourhood ActiveSG gyms. Great equipment, has toilets, showers and water coolers available inside the gym itself. One thing to note is that there's only 1 squat rack and 1 Smith so be prepared to share if you're visiting during peak hours.

Problem with Suzannah. It is stated that users have 100 minutes per session to exercise, which means users, who start at 5pm, will end at 640pm. However, on 4th February 2021, the users were being told to "complete their last set at 635pm". There is a fine line between "last 5 minutes" and "last set". When the users ended their session at 640pm and walked to the toilet, they were simply following the rules set forth by Singapore Sports Council. But Suzannah was yelling "DILLY DALLY! DILLY DALLY! DILLY DALLY! DILLY DALLY!" for at least 20 seconds, offending most of the gym users. Her behaviour was antagonising and childish. Furthermore, she was being unprofessional because she was deviating from the "100 minutes usage" rule. Please investigate this matter and I look forward to hearing from you.

$2.5 per entry. 1x squat rack and 1x bench. No deadlift platform and one Olympic bar afaik. Quite limited but if you go at a good time, not crowded. Equipment is quite new as of mid 2023.

Bishan ActiveSG is one of the gyms that provide proper distancing. apart from having only 2 dedicated cut-off areas for free weights, this gym is really not that bad to visit. there's only 1 tap so things get pretty awkward in the toilet really fast.

small gym, packed during the usual peak hours, but plenty of air purifiers (no smells) and equipment (well used, old but functional). AC is strong, toilets are a little small, best to head over to the public pool (paid admission, within the same compound) if you want a shower after your work out. would come back anytime, good job on the facility to Sports SG!

5 treadmills are available. Need to be early to enter the gym. After 5pm, there is usually a queue. Environment is clean, staff are polite

Quite a good selection of equipment. Though it is very crowded due to affordable pricing. So maybe must go certain timings.

The Bishan gym has a decent set of machines and free-standing weights. However, it's always crowded, and people come in groups, most of whom are poly and uni students. The entrance fee is cheap, but be prepared to bring your patience and assertiveness so that you can have a productive workout.

Bags all thrown all over the floor. Not enough shelving. Management please do smth. There are elderly exercising too (they may trip) + its quite unsightly. Staff doesnt do much to encourage the students to plave their bags properly. Usual neighbourhood gym with lots of school kids. Overall okay for a morning routine if you are not too fussy.

Gym is pretty small and best to come ard 3-6pm. It started to get crowded ard 5pm. Location is as the same level as the carpark and it can be confusing if you are here for the first time.

Good places to work out and burn some calories friendly staff. Has 2 water coolers in the gym and showers room in the toilet. Busy on weekends have to go early or later to get the best work out

  • 3/5 C L. 1 year ago on Google
Newly revamped gym. Not very big compared to the Toa Payoh one. Some equipments are not very new and showing signs of wear and tear. Bags area a little disorganized as it was placed all over the floor instead of on shelves but, probably not enough of shelves too. Smell good, a bit like those lobby hotel smell. Overall pleasant experience.

The staff named "Ben", working at Bishan ActiveSG gym, is unprofessional and lazy. He does not answer to users' queries and has a stupid bad habit of telling the gym goers to leave the premise when the time is not even up. Unhappy patrons should definitely complain this to the management!

  • 4/5 Celine Y. 3 years ago on Google
Equipment is quite new. Only concern is that staffs does not check everyone if they bring towel which is required to enter the gym.

  • 5/5 Fong Kah W. 3 years ago on Google
Equipments are new and diverse enough to do most exercises. Showers have heaters too but due to the pandemic, showering is not allowed. Other than that, not too crowded.

Aesthetically pleasing and cozy gym. Has most of the equipments after renovation! This is however a bit smaller compared to the other ActiveSG gyms. The toilet looks very nice after renovation, as there is even a quote on the wall as motivation. There is a light display that shows ActiveSG, which is very nice (will take a picture when I have a chance next time). Limited number of equipment however, due to the constraint of space.
