Since I stay near GWC (Great World) I took a membership for my 15yo daughter with some student pass offer (12months). After few months, my daughter decided to discontinue. Hence I went to them asking if it can be transferred to me and I was willing to pay the differential amount (whatever was the ongoing fees) and sign up for at least 6 or 12 months (4 months are still left from my daughter's membership and every month I am charged that money). Surprisingly they said, I have to pay both - the cancellation fees (daughter's membership) + the fresh membership fee and joining fees (for myself). Where on earth this is fair. Why will I ever go to them or recommend them to anyone. The sales staff was after my life when I signed up with regular follow ups and offering promotions. Now nobody wants to take the responsibility. If you are reading this and considering this gym, Its better you try other places. There is one at valley point and plenty on orchard road. Plus this gym has a 3 star rating anyways which I guess they dont care much about.

Lights are not working, too dim and gloomy environment. they rest area is way brighter than the gym equipment area. Not sure if damaged and don’t want to repair or you just try to cut cost.👎 MUSIC TOO LOUD. WE ARE NOT DEAF. Here to gym not to club.

Make sure you read your membership contract. Not that there's any room for negotiation, but there is a clause in there that will allow the gym to continue charging you even after your membership ends. Very deceptive practice and the sales staff there seems quite happy to engage in this deception

We signed a whole life membership and paid the fees upfront. Suddenly they made a policy change, which We were not informed of, and made it such that upon late payment of the cleaning fee, the whole membership will be terminated. We did not receive any payment notification, and just like this, our memberships were cancelled. Shirney, the service officer, told us to **** off when we asked her about it. This is quite ridiculous, coming from a service stuff. Truly disappointed at the treatment we received and true fitness is seriously the biggest scam ever.

Quite a cosy gym with good variety of classes and equipments. Classes are also mostly available, even for last min booking. Front desk quite friendly. Towels are also rather newer than other outlets. Equipment and gym generally quite clean except for spin class, some bikes have aged and not working. In terms of maintenance and ambience, Millenia Walk is still my fav outlet.

Terrible experience here. The center went under renovation without notifying any of their members... still wanted to charge full price for that month. When I cancelled my membership because transferring out, they went ahead and charged me an extra month.

Been a member here for years and have recommend a number of successful members. Equipment in this gym is clean and new especially the bikes! No doubts there are many negative comments but I have been to other spinning classes at other brand outlets but find their instructors and equipments not up to standard

Space is kind of limited over here, but there are many machines and equipments for workout. I usually frequent other outlets but happened to book a Spinning group exercise class since it has been a long time since I have been here. I feel this outlet is very clean. Environment is cozy. The plus point is that this outlet is located in a mall. But personally I would still prefer the facilities and space in other outlets.

Didn’t even bother informing members that the gym was going to undergo renovation. Had a rude shock when I tried going. The only reason I signed up was cos it was at my work place. Now the membership is useless to me

Unprofessional staffs, especially Bruce. His attitude towards customers was totally unnecessary. Gym is a rip-off, my condo gym has newer and better equipments P.S. Since then, they deleted their FB page perhaps because of my review. That might be how they kept a 5 stars review on FB (by deleting and creating new accoutns), fortunately Google reviews can't be deleted.

Brainless staff didn't put my termination request through and 140$ kept deducting for months till when I accidentally saw my e-statement. waste of money and unprofessional.

Several Trainers here have been seen using vaping device, of course front desk staff are rude and don’t care at all. Have reported to HSA with photo evidence hope that they take action. I have requested to speak to manager several times but nobody cares. Horrible. Don’t sign with this outlet, terminated my own membership after seeing the atrocious attitude of the staff.

The staff is very rude really . I first time visit they give me service very polite and i pay $180 for one month and for 2nd month $126.26 . But on that time they never tell me about auto deduction from my account .after one month i got problem in my back means i got back-ache . I called them for cancel my membership and dont cut my money . Today 4 month spend but they still cutting my money 😕 . Singapore No.1 rude staff and No.1 bad service . Dont wanna go in this gym even dont wanna look to there gym .....

Arrived at 6.50am ahead of 7.30am sitc class, but was denied entry as we are only allowed to enter '20 mins before class'. What rubbish. Had to wait outside for 20mins. Rude staff and mediocre service as well. They should have the decency to include this clause in the website.

Regular attendee for Thur lunch time spin class conducted by Sandy. fantastic instructor who takes time to teach and correct every student's posture and technique. Hard to find dedicated instructors like Sandy thats why I have been a staunch student of hers ever since the Thur lessons started. In contrast, I attended Tue morning 7.30am class by Martin before. Worst instructor ever. He just stands at his console to control music (as if a music dj) while shouting commands. Many of his regular students for this class have terrible postures and he doesn't even correct them at all. The horrors. Never want to attend another of his class ever again.

The worst thing about True Fitness Great World are the trainers. Probably the most annoying group of trainers that are in any gym in Singapore. They seem to have zero training Knowledge on how to train people. Seems they have a culture of steroid usage as well, walking around with their chest pumped up. It's amazing they all have jobs and I feel sorry for the people wasting their $$ on these trainers.

Not for the serious. They only devote 10% of the entire floor space to free weights while thread mills, cycles and yoga studios dominate most of the gym. The range of machines and equipment is pathetic- you can't even find a leg curl machine, a cable row machine or a preacher bench. Meanwhile the benches are limited because so little space is given to the free weights area and what space you have- you have to constant watch out for so as not to get hit or hit other users inadvertently because there is so little space. There are only 2 narrow cable and pulley machines, so doing wide cable crossover is out of the question. One of the most pathetic money scamming gyms you can find. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Said to be owned by a son of a director of large Singaporean bank starting with O. Fcuking scums and scammers! Gonna avoid the bank with O*B* as well! To be fair, equipment in this branch is quite new and ok, compared to other branches (especially treadmills)

Giving a two because it looked like it has potential. Didn’t go in because I can’t bring myself to pay $40SGD which is about $30USD for a day pass. I’ll use the hotel gym with DBs up to 22.5kg/50lbs and get creative.

Not enough space to workout most if the time. Significantly smaller than a year ago.

They will be your bestest buddies whilst you enrol for PT sessions or whatever, but once you cancel that be prepared for a cold shoulder. They use the more attractive female PTs to lure you in then suddenly they have no slots that suit your schedule.

A commercial gym that's decently maintained, servicing a mostly mature and respectful demographic. Great value for the basics and convenience. Adapted fairly well to Covid restrictions.

Martin is the best instructor. His workouts are tough which I like. No talking just do it.

Unfortunately I am not able to award no star or negative points. If I could, I would do that. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend anyone. Yes they are probably cheaper than other gyms in the market but unfortunately the bad experience negates the lower pricing. It is certainly not value for money. One thing for sure they are good at avoiding to address issues.

Few threadmils are not working, the water dispenser at the ladies changing room was not working too. 1 small studio for normal classes and another room dedicated for yoga. Considered well equipped with most machines available. + points for this outlet is they have their own digital dongle for the locker. Meaning do not require your own padlock. Went there on a Monday evening at around 730pm. Not consider crowded.

Very small gym, and with covid restrictions, there isn't much free weights/machines available. But it's very cozy, not many people here for some reason which is great for me. Machines are old but the locker room is new and nice.
