True Fitness is running a scam. Please take note of Centre Sales Manager Elston Low. & their operations manager Nor Sima Binte Jelani He pushed for a membership with me to start on February. The Chai Chee centre closed in January. Only can escalate to Nor Sima Binte Jelani (operations manager) and cannot do anything nor offer refunds. This will happen to anyone who signs under True Fitness. The centre may close and you will receive no refunds or help in this matter. As long as you sign with their annual membership and pay one lump sum, you’ll be in deep waters. Their operations manager Nor Sima Binte Jelani offers no help in this matter. All they say is that their operations still all around Singapore so please patronise the places that are at the ends of Singapore. Their hotline remains uncontactable.

Update: used to give it 5 stars, but now they shrunk the gym by half, and the equipment feels old. :/ A good gym for the average user. Lots of machines, fun gym classes (yoga and hiit) and a small free weights section. I love the stretching machines and area! They have an ippt section too. It's also super cheap to join at less than 65 a month

If you are just going there for gym, it's good. But here's a warning, never ever try to sign their PT training. They have one of the most expensive PT session but their trainer are less than professional, some can't speak English, some can't even count properly. They only will ask you to sign their package, ask you to come more often, but they can't even train properly. When you don't sign on the next package, they shorten the training time: late 5-8 mins before class, end the class 5-10 mins earlier. I've complain to the management a few times, worse still, the employee that complain resign themselves but the next person that train you took over less than a month, resign again. With new trainer taking few sessions to understand you, your body is not trained properly. Trainer that only care to take your money, but lousy service, cheat customer's money. please stay away from all the PT trainers in Tampines branch. If they want their client to follow their schedule all the time (which is 11am-8pm on a weekday), otherwise they get angry and start scolding bad words, might as well they don't work as a PT! The training session are not cheap, and we still have to bear with their nonsense, oh please! And don't tell me they are only earning commission, that doesn't earn them an excuse to be rude to clients

Lots of equipment.. Able to get good work out here. Equipment abit old though. Due to covid.. There's much lesser people these days... So the availability of equipment is awesome. Almost don't need to queue. Will definitely try to make time to visit True Fit more often.

The worst Gym I have ever been to. They have some irrelevant policies that no one can understand. They do not give the correct information at the time of signing up for the membership. There is a person named Alvin in the Tampines branch I connected with him to sign up for the membership and he misled me and my friend by giving false commitments. Would NEVER recommend this gym to anyone. For the first ever time I heard that person is not even eligible to suspend the membership even if they have urgent personal commitments they need medical proofs and even suggest to get fake proofs. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Still abit pushy after so many years. Be prepared to get interrupted from your workout for a 'better training session' by their fitness trainer then get asked to sign up for their training packages..

I call this branch the nightclub true fitness. The good is that the place is a pretty decent size but the bad is that the weight area is pretty small. one free rack, and one cable guided rack. i think i saw only 3 barbells and this is the busiest area of TF. I'd prefer if they expanded this area to accommodate the busiest area by adding more free weight equipment and removing some machines.

Getting used to the smaller gym space now. Most of the counter staff are polite and friendly. Some of the class timings can be improved.

Honestly, this is worst than being scammed. I paid 3K++ in full payment (not including their monthly membership fees) for a personal trainer but their PT quit the company and refer me to another PT but the 2nd one also quit after that. Since then, I didn’t go to the gym. In between I had a medical condition and was unable to do physical exercises for 6 months. Apparently I wasn’t aware that my bank wasn’t able to deduct their monthly membership through my giro but no email or any form of letter being sent to my address. I only realised when I received a credit bureaus letter. After I approach them about it, their reply was to settle with credit bureau myself. Mind you, I still have 12 more PT session which I didn’t even utilised due to my medical condition. I find them very self-centred and irresponsible. But they are very nice towards you when they hear you wanna join their gym and PT. After you signed with them, that’s it! So guys, please beware and think carefully before deciding to spend a huge amount at this place. I can personally say it’s not worth it. After making my last payment I asked for an official receipt but until now I have yet to receive it.

PT Sabil is one of the best PTs out there. He knows how to make you feel comfortable with yourself to push you to your limits and break out of your comfort zone.

Extremely rude staff who seem to make up their own rules as they go along. Don't waste your money here.

A decent full equipped gym. Some equipments need repair but at cosmetic level, but generally still working well. June 2023: They've changed a number of equipments to brand new which is good. However the size of the gym has been halved since a year ago. The varieties of equipments have badly reduced too.

  • 1/5 Angel T. 9 months ago on Google
Scam. Should have read the reviews before booking, their front desk is unhelpful and unprofessional. Rules can change any time without official notice. They enforce conditions that are not stated anywhere, and they say that it’s not their problem to update or send notices.

Booking a Pilates session under instructor Sabu with Kelly through xiao hong shu (ID Kelly94303034) , a gym consultant. Her explanation was details and very patient. Place is nice and fully-equipped, beginner friendly.

Please don’t sign up for this gym. If you’re aiming for their classes, they won’t let you in once you’re late even for a minute. Came all the way here for the session before work but it’s a waste of time.

PT's are really great and really professional..but they should never have pushed people to hire them..Now I'm afraid to even greet the people who work there..I feel that they are pushed too much to use them as PT..I know who they are as PTs..If people like them, they will say it automatically..To do PT..As you know, PT price is never little like $10. (1 PT fee is not cheap because 1Session 1 hour is more than $100) .. People who work are different from each other We used to have different salaries..so if you see people, don't push them to use you as PT . Pushing like that makes those who get low salaries look inferior and your value goes down.,You should use another method.

👍👍 Good place for NS Men to relax and engage in physical activities at a subsidised cost. Has lots of activities like squash courts and tennis courts, and also restuarants and a jackpot room near the main building. Swimming pool and bowling alley is also present, and lots of NS Men bring their families...

😠 Trainers need to walk the ground to supervise and monitor users. There’s a bald Chinese guy at the free weights area who moves the bench to the dumbbell rack and hangs both his legs up on the dumbbell rack for whatever reason. ???Unsafe and very inconsiderate to other users who want to use the dumbb...
