Glad I made the trip down to try out the gloves before trying to purchase some cheap ones online! The girl at the shop was friendly and shared her experience when deciding on the gloves for a beginner like me, busted my budget but better than be penny wise and hurt myself! Was just there to buy my first pair of proper boxing gloves and the young lady present was patient. She explained the suitability of the different gloves and though I didn’t end up with something colourful/loud (which would’ve been something I’ll end up with usually), I was able to make an informed decision and emerged with a cushioned deluxe Fairtex pair that will enable me to box without much pain to my knuckles! Pricey at $165 but at least I get to try them physically and know I won’t be hurting myself. Thanks for the pleasant service!

I had gone to this shop 3 times. The first time I didn't really enjoy the shopping experience due to very bored staff. The 2nd time i bought a pair of 16oz Cleto Reyes after having a pleasant experience with the staff on the hand. She was able to ensure my interests were being met, instead of pushy sales talk. The 3rd time I went to try out a 16oz Winnings and the same staff assisted me with the purchase. The experience was pleasant/smooth. I ended up purchasing the glove. The price is not exactly the cheapest. My personal view if I am going to make a meaningful purchase in a well built glove is i would rather pay more to ensure authenticity here than online. Basically don't be penny wise pound foolish. Am happy with the gloves that I purchased here. The wrist pain I experience with the lighter/cheaper gloves is getting better when I use the Cleto and the Winnings. Great Job MTBS. Been impressed from the start of my convo via WA with Sam regarding a Boxing gloves and handwrap. Hop by his shop around North Canal Road and received by a staff called BT who was so helpful! Sam provided a lot of help in recommending gloves for me. After that, he even helped me to order online and told me he would inform me by message when the order is delivered. When he found out the delivery was delayed, he offered to help me ask a retail partner if they had stock for that gloves so I could get them on the day I needed it. Really thankful for his help!

Recently ordered Cleto Reyes gloves and wraps and was hugely impressed by the customer service. The item delivery was upgraded which was a very nice surprise, although I am sure they cannot do this every time, I do think it shows great care and attention by this business. I will definitely buy from here again.

I’m trying out muay thai for the first time and wanted to commit long term so i need a proper pair of gloves. so i went to the shop in orchard central. The girl there was super friendly, took her time and explained to me the difference in the gloves. but the color that i wanted was sold out and told me to visit the MTBS in clarke quay. I visited clarke quay’s store on a saturday afternoon and met with Joyce. and she was SOOOO extremely patient with me. i think i probably took about 45 minutes or more trying to choose a correct size, (i’m sorry!) but nevertheless she helped me through with everythinggg i needed to know. i finally got my first pair of fairtex! i’m extremely happy with my gloves! thank you so much joyce!!! i can’t wait for my first class!
