Would honestly give 0 stars if I could. Beware of their “long term” serving staff by the name of Kris who (despite his supposed long term service) at Fitness First, has terrible service. Our friend Kris has been trying to sell me a gym membership after I’ve indicated interest online. On 28 Aug, I went to the gym using the 3 day guest pass assigned to me under my husband’s membership. I then decided to utilise my guest pass today on 30 Aug again. Kris saw me and decided to stop me from using the guest pass after he found out I’m interested in signing up for a package myself. (I have ignored most of his messages prior due to the bad service rendered after my husband signed a package). The guest pass issued to me on 28 Aug was allegedly “mistakenly” assigned to me by his colleague. Kris decides I should bear the consequences of his team’s mistake (and his lacklustre ability as a manager to train his staff) by not allowing me to enter the gym. I leave you to decide if it’s timely that his staff made a mistake of issuing me the past just when he was trying to push me to sign up for a package.

This place has some nice classes, and I was initially enjoying my time here until I attended Albert Tan's yoga class. It a NIGHTMARE! I regret wasting my precious afternoon on his class. Avoid it at all costs! It was nothing more than a complete waste of time. All he did was show off his so-called 'advanced' moves, which I couldn't even stand to watch halfway through. There was absolutely no proper teaching or guidance on how to do the poses correctly. It felt like he's a grandpa bragging about how amazing he is instead of a yoga instructor. The entire session is filled with this self-centered performer busy showcasing his yoga skills, and letting you know how many years you might need to reach that level. *roll eyes* TBH, he got on my nerves so much that I wanted to leave mid-way through the class. It was that bad. I'd have been better off spending my time sitting in the changing room, watching random young hot dude yoga videos on YouTube, anything but staying in that class with that grouchy old man. This is the first time I ever wanted to leave a class mid way. I hope it’s the last.

Don't let them steal your money. I tried to cancel my membership going there in person two times, and sending two emails to the management without replay from them. Tried to charge my "unfreeze" fee twice. The lady in front office she told me to not worry they won't charge the monthly fee, only have to check with management (they never replay my emails) the unfreeze fee. I don't want to pay it because i pay it previously. At the end they haven't charge my the unfreeze fee but charge me the monthly fee much more expensive. Very cleaver this people. Unprofessional, worst costumer service ever, liar and thieves. After many years with them are their way to thanks the loyalty, Never more in my life.

The receptionist chased us out at 10.04 pm near the entrance, when I was about to have an exit drink. She yelled sarcastically at us: “you want to exit now?”. I was abit stunned as this was the first time I have been chased out in a way like this. It was much better at other outlets. And what is the pointing of chasing only me out when there were five other male customers still packing in the changing room?

Receptionist called Ziela was rude, sarcastic and a racist with low EQ. She verbally kicked us out of the gym at just 10.04pm by saying “you want to exit now” while we just wanted to get some water first before leaving the gym. That would not take more than 1 min. Plus, there were other local and Malay customers remaining in the gym but she only targeted me and my boyfriend. Damn rude and ill-trained staff! Feel demotivated to patronise this outlet again even though my house is just opp. This is how Fitness First treats their longterm customers, and after reading others’ comments about this gym chain, I think it’s time to look for a better gym like Virgin Active which is also located nearby.

This is one of the smallest Fitness First branches that I have visited.

Personal trainers are very professional. Specially Imran, he was understanding and motivating. Helped me by suggesting diet and exercises to lose weight. Results went beyond my expectation. Would recommend anyone to take up his personal training sessions. Unlike some gyms this branch is open on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Be wary of Kris with predatory sales tactics, acting nice and stating various made up gym benefits about guest passes before you sign up. Rude attitude for a "Senior Sales Consultant" and using the fact that these benefits were communicated verbally by sniding that "Was that documented in writing?" as his imaginary shield

Wanted to take a look at the gym facilities before i end my membership in another club on Saturday as i have my new office located nearby. Front desk malay guy attended to me amd wanted me to fill up my particulars even just to take a look for less than a minute, so as i was feeling in he was asking me alot of personal qns such as if i live near here or if i am working around here, which to me is a little unnecessary, but i still responded politely and as i was almost done he was probing alot of qns which i know is for sales and so i told him i know how it work as i used to workout with fitness first and i wanted him to keep quiet, but that never stopped him, he went on asking which branch and so on, and when i told him "its okie, lets drop the topic" as i was irritated and i wanna do is check out the equipment. And he responded " waah, secret ahh??" And i had to tell him to mind his own business and to maintain professional customer service. its a major turn off. And being a happy person, i walked out to him and said thank you, which he refused to respond. I though fitness first customer service was not bad, for a moment felt like i was in true fitness known for their lousy reputation.

Bad customer service and rude personal trainer. Group activities were conducted in an unsafe manner that could hurt other gym member. No reply after feedback was sent. Avoid this club. I terminated my gym membership due to the bad experience with this club.

Screenshots below. After trying to cancel my membership over 2 weeks ago I am still struggling to settle my account with the incompetence that is Fitness First SG “customer service” as many others have highlighted below. Not only do they need to be chased 3x before they reply, they quote you incorrect amounts and even when explicitly asking to remove payment details they will not. When you do eventually get overcharged, their response is it “takes 30 days to process a refund”. The service when you’re a prospective client is amazing but once they’ve got your credit card details, good luck.

front desk customer service was really poor. was turned off by the service. was rushing for class but got held back at the counter and instead of hearing me out, the sales rep (i assume) was judgemental. didn’t have any issues with another club. first time and won’t patronize here again. too crowded after working hours anyway.

Fabulous gym and fitness centre in Tanjong Pagar area! There are many classes to choose from. These include body combat, RPM, hot yoga, dynamic flow yoga, advanced yoga flow, pilates, HIIT and many more. Well-maintained and clean!

I have been going to the Fitness First gym since February 2022 and working with Nico as my personal trainer. The gym staff is extremely friendly and professional, and the gym facilities are good value for money. Also, most importantly, my trainer Nico has been an amazing collaborator in my fitness journey! He understands your fitness needs, tailors a workable program and also makes the sessions fun and engaging! Highly recommend!

Careful of the SLIPPERY floors at the FITNESS FIRST GYM at 100AM outside their shower cubicles, it was so slippery as detergent was all over! Had a sudden fall on 27 DEC 2021, reported to Fitness First feedback online and on their FB messenger about the ACCIDENT. The detergent was not washed off after cleaning the floor areas outside shower cubicles and not visible, after shower and floor got wet, the soap suds caused the accident. Later same day, I was too shocked by the gym response, the front of house manager did not even bother to check if the victim needed medical attention or follow-up on medical compensation despite accident was caused by negligence of the cleaning contractor within its gym compound. Gym manager Katherine at 100AM replied that it was not their protocol to do so and never has been done before. And somehow tried offering a personal training session which total does NOT address the victim's medical concern. *Totally appalled*

Useless customer service. Bad user service and unpleasant experience. There’s an element of truth in the reviews. Read that feedback via the website portal garner no reply and will be futile anyway since I guess it will be directed to the same management at the branch anyway. Where’s the accountability, fitness first. Really makes me think what kind of calibre of staffs are you hiring having reading all the other reviews. Inept staffs lacking soft skills (which is absolutely essential) and positive attitude. Boycotting this Tanjong Pagar branch. Be forewarned. Instead of going to a gym to be healthy, be glad that a visit to this branch and all these unnecessary stress which are quite uncalled for doesn’t shorten your life!

Conveniently located at 100am in Tanjong Pagar. It is smaller than the bigger clubs like Fusionpolis and Metropolis, but the gym meet my needs well enough. Been going for their wide range of classes since they opened. The instructors are well trained and professional. Particularly enjoyed classes conducted by Julian, Sherlin and Junwei over the years.

One of the best gyms in Singapore. Just take shoes in the gym, everything else will be taken care of. Charges depend on the contracts. A one year contract will cost you around 180 bucks/month. Check the road show where they give discounts. Their classes will help you a lot even if you're a beginner. I would highly recommend it. Its a bit expensive but totally worth it.

Not the biggest branch, but when you have 3 racks, 2 eleiko platforms, a bunch of eleiko bars and training bumper plates, does it really matter? The answer is no! Every fitness first should have these equipment. I wish mine had.

As gyms go, facilities are fine. Quite busy though in peak period though. Only 3 stars as I do see it as overpriced and feel there is more energy spent on selling to you than training you.

Small gym that can get quite crowded on weekdays. All amenities available, and even has Dyson hairdryer. Remember to bring your own comb as this is not provided! Special shoutout to my PT Kyla Sim who deserves 5 stars - started out my fitness journey with 3 trial sessions with her. She’s always very encouraging and fun to workout with. One of the rare trainers who will do some of the workouts together with you too! She corrected my form and taught me how to use many of the gym equipment - going to the gym isn’t so intimidating anymore!

Was trying to compare the different gyms available and went to the 100am outlet for trial session. Consultant Jeffrey attended to me and was so patient with my queries on the different packages and pricing as I wasn’t sure what to expect as a first-timer. He went through the whole flow with me from my current health status to my target status so as to better advise the kind of classes required for me to reach my target. Signed for a month as I’ll be out of town till next year!

Was a great gym, but 100AM mall management let a TCM place open up right next door so the top two floors of the mall smell like a smoke stack... and what's worse is the cardio machines around at the entrance of the gym, and get the full smoke lol. Hard to recommend now.

Come to give a one star rating for this gym’s front desk, spent $$$$ with this gym for last few years Recently needed to travel frequently and I could not go to gym, was told would able to get waver of pause account, but this gym needs my travel proof details and employee proof to make the waiver What an idiot decisions by the management to ask such private information from customers to make such small impact decisions :)

Socking News!!! Socks thief alert for anyone that uses Fitness First outlet at 100 AM. Not our first visit but it’s the first time my socks got stolen when I left them used and dirty on top of my shoes as I took my shower. So guys (and ladies), pls stash ALL your belongings into the lockers at all times! We should not tempt sick-minded people who yet have an eye for branded socks.
