This is one of the pathetic hostel, we had booked a two night stay in this hostel in August, while booking they had said that the check-in timing is till 11 PM but on the date of arrival they texted me stating that the check-in time has been changed to 8 PM that is after 8 PM they wouldn’t be accepting any guest and we were really shocked because we were not there in Singapore at that point of time so when we landed in Singapore it was somewhere around 10 PM and as this hostel was closed. We couldn’t go to the hostel and we spent our whole night on the airport, this hostel is really very pathetic, dirty washrooms, no drinking water facility available and I won’t advise anybody to go into this hostel.

I reached for check in in the evening. Although it was time to check in. I had already booked so I didn't face any problem. I was asked to deposit S$10 for the key, which I said I do not have, so they deposited S$10 in my country's currency. However, at the time of check out, I was refunded my own currency. I already knew that in Singapore, there is a shortage of space, so everything here would be narrow, so the bathrooms were also small and were the same for boys and girls. The cleanliness was also very good. I would also like to say just one thing that I did not like the behavior of the receptionist. Otherwise, I liked this hostel very much. Nearby connectivity is very good. I think it is the cheapest hostel in Singapore.

I made my booking on 3 Aug through Booking. Com. It show me that check in time between 3pm until 10:45pm. ( even though website or massage) I check in at night **9:55pm, the reception informed me that they are not receive my order, and they have no more available slot !!! The next day, boutique management replied me that they are fully booked from 15 Aug to 15 Sep, and they last check in time is 8pm. Hey, pls. I am not last minute booking, and the massage (in booking. Com app) u send me check in latest time not 8pm !!! If u sold out ald, u should WhatsApp me at least 1-2 days before. Is not like ur customer who made the booking ald, and told them not available in ur reception counter at almost 10pm, this terrible service and manage!!!

The room is so small, but clean and quiet. The staff was so nice. The rent fee is good. Suitable for experienced travel!

Plus: one of the cheapest in Singapore and good location. Coffee and toast in the morning. I did not get bed bugs which seems to be a problem in Singapore. Minus: no space in the rooms (you can hardly turn around without your backpack on) plus the bathroom/toilet combos (tiny, wet, hot and humid as no AC). Mattress old blus trey and rails you see in the pictures missing or broken. Worst: lacking service and friendliness of typical hostels. No one can or wants to help with sightseeing information, all power outlets are typical Singaporean ones (easy to make multi type or USB outlets) and they won't even help you out with a quick charging. Instead they want to sell you adaptors for a few dollars. What a waste of money and bad for the environment as these adaptors get thrown away after most people move on after 1 or 2 nights. You won't need them anywhere around and in hardly any other country. A little bit more service orientation could help.

This hostel here is placed at a good location no doubt the common hall is good spacious but sitting area needs more comfortable seats , breakfast is ok , the rooms are not spacious at all , it's not easy to access to your bed they just provided 1 ft space for coming out or going in , which is too bad , washrooms are also very hatchback the doors are put very adjustent to the toilet bowl , not very clean , but not too bad in terms of cleaning as well loft is good , staff is good too . But hotel need a little renovations , and a little bit space to give to travellers don't make.the rooms so conjusted

Simple hostel in Little India. Entrance clean enough with a reception, a couple of tables and chairs as well as a sofa. This is the closest thing you will get to a "common room". The first bed we got shown was infested with bedbugs(it can happen, its a hostel). When we reported this we got offered the bed over the first one but refused and asked for another room, the employees complied and gave us another bed in another room. The beds were good and spacious enough with a privacy curtain as announced. Good AC as well. Facilities not very good. Very cramped toilets and showers. They were however re-painting the ones in our floors. Used quite a while to refill toilet paper for example. Did not attend breakfast.

Never book this terrible hotel, they cancel my reservation last minute and made me astray on the street........... Horrible. Terrible. Ugly.

In Poland we have a saying: Is it cheap? It is cheap. Is it good? It is cheap. And that's what this hostel is about 🤪 Nice staff, simple breakfast is simple and it's ok. Close to everything. Very cold rooms (I liked it, but not everyone will). For the key to the locker and for the towel you have to pay a deposit (returnable). There is a possibility for late check-in. Overall, if you don't mind the hostel vibe - it’s one of the most affordable options in town

For me, I will never go back to this place. There’s a lot of rules that is too much for me. You can’t bring food / drink from outside, can’t drink while on bed, you need to wash your own breakfast dishes, there’s a limit time to use hair drier, the checkout time is 11.30– usually we can checkout up to 12 (it’s a regular basis in hospitality). I understand the rules are made by full of consideration, there’re lots of tourist and we need to make everyone comfortable. So that’s why i’m highlighting this review is according to my very humble opinion without blaming the hostel. It also far away from MRT station. Instead, it’s a very cheap and helpfull staff afterall

Spent 3 nights here.. 1st night i got located in mix dorm room.. the rest nights they moved me to female only dorm.. the alley in both room are narrow/not spacious.. only can fit 1 luggage tbh! The AC was cold enough considering there are a lot of beds in a room (around 12-16 beds). There are 3 toilets & 3 bathroom on each floor with hot water. They provide hair dryer, towels, tissues & liquid soap. If you bring cabin-sized luggage you can put/save them in a locker with keys/lock below your beds. Big luggage will be a problem because it can't be put in locker (plus the alleys are so narrow!). I was very greatful they have elevator. Breakfast ready at 7:30 - 9.30 am. They serve bread, cereals, milk, coffee & tea. They also sell mineral water & canned drinks, so no need to worry looking for 7/11! Although there is 7/11 near the hostel, walking distance 3 mins. The nearest MRT stations are Farrer Park (8-9 mins walking) & Jalan Baru (15 mins walking). The nearests shopping places are Mustafa Center & City Square Mall (8-9 mins walking) What I most remember abt this hostel is the staffs! They were so nice & kind! I can say they are good spirited people. Thank you very much for having us!

It's located in very convenient place in city centre. Easy for traveling around. Just 5 minutes walk can reach the famous City Square Mall and also Mustafa Shopping Center. I stayed in capsule bed. The bed is quite sturdy and have more points for laptop and charger near to bed. Also have a personal hanger in every bed. Fully air-conditioned. Quite neat and decent guests. Morning free breakfast is fantastic as they provide free cron-flakes, milk and choices of breads. Only thing I find short coming is the washroom and bath room are a way short. Important no need to claim steps there is lift. This is important when you are traveling with children or elderly and have luggages.

Great staffs, super friendly! They have 3 properties in Singapore. One in Little India and others. Cheapest in the town. Just basic room but most ok at the most expensive accommodation of the world!

One of male staff rude behavior which caused me to write bad review. For breakfast I went 5 minutes late which 9.35 am and while checking the availability the staff behavior was very rude. I did not expect this sudden arrogant behavior and he insulted me in front of other guests by shouting as No breakfast which has become big insult. Instead he should have told sorry sir breakfast time was over and we can't offer even 5 minutes later and our policy doesn't allow to provide. He treated me like beggar, so I thought to complain to the management. But I did not get proper response from the lady manager which she has claimed as owner and she said you if you have any concern feedback your review or complain to the police, this kind of answer I did not expect and I decently had a follow up about the staff behavior but due to no proper action taken I have filed police complaint and waiting for investigation. Also there is huge leakage in wash basin and I informed in the previous stay but no action taken. In one of the booking the reservation went to female room by mistake but they should have informed via whatsapp or sms, instead of making some alternate arrangement they denied my stay that day and money also did not return or stay was not adjusted to some other date as I was requested. Later they said they have given me alternate arrangement to stay but it is lie. They are many goood staffs and facilities bur why they treat the guest in some time which don't give training to new staff for the good behavior, it need more attention.

It’s an ok place to stay, expensive for what it is but that’s to be expected in this country. Staff weren’t very attentive or polite, rooms were ok and toilets as expected. Not much community vibe when I was there no real communal space to chill. Good location but not somewhere I will stay again.

We booked a family room(10 beds). The beds are okay, but a cockroach was spotted in the room. Charging outlet, bed looks clean however, the worst thing is there is no ventilation. The air-con in the room will shut off after every 10mins. We provided feedback to the staff, and they said its currently malfunctioning. Hence. Me and my friends are sweating during the night as it is very hot and stuffy. Breakfast is simple and sufficient 👌. 1 complimentary towel is provided. Toilet is fine too (however there is cockroach spotted as well).

Even if it's not really cheap (well, it's Singapore). But the service was extremely good, easy check-in and check-out, each room had a password so it's safe, the receptionist was very friendly, the location is good also. There are smoking area outside, and there are quite a lot of restaurant near the hostel. About the bed? I definitely had a good sleep, will go back here again.

I gave it 4 star only because lack of few facilities. Breakfast has healthy choice and it is free, living capsule is good but few things were found broken, and laundry charges is very high otherwise it was good. Location is very nice. 😊🌟

The photo showed are totally misleading, please lower your expectatiom by 84.9%. Staff are really nice. The space between bunks is extremely small. You will find it very difficult to move around. Booked for 2-days, however check out early morning after a nigth. A strange smell/odors around the living area. I guess it's just not for me.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed during my trip around Asia. Staff were great, the room was amazing and everything was clean, quiet and great. Reception was opened until 2am so we could check in late with no problem. Excellent experience.

I have edited my review from 1 to 2 stars based solely on the response from the owner, which I appreciate. I still had a poor experience here and will not return, but the response from the owner is sincere and shows promise. Thanks for taking the time to address my concerns.

Great location. Close to Little India and MRT stations. Value for money. I had two great nights of stay here. The beds were soft. The AC cool. Toilets clean. And the capsules , quiet. The only unsavoury part of my stay was the interaction with front office staff named Fatisha, who never smiled and made me feel I was unwanted right from the moment I checked in. I thought it was just me but on the second evening, I witnessed her cold behavior with another guest. So it wasn't just me.

“Clean, Comfortable and Nice breakfast. ” Aircon is very nice. It is well ventilated. It is clean and comfortable. Just the walkway in the room a bit small in space. But still, its one of the best capsules I often visit. Its relaxing and has clean beddings. The breakfast is generous. Thanks. :)

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Discracefull attitude from staff. Don't try to reschedule or cancel a stay and expect any understanding. **** WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE **** Uncomfortable accommodation, unfriendly, uncaring staff. SLEEPING ON THE STREET WOULD BE BETTER

One of the best hostel location. 5 mins walk from the metro station. Perfect for couples or solo travelling to site see and shopping! Great customer service, you can ask the staff for assistance.

It has capsule rooms. Perfect if you are solo traveller and on budget. Rooms and washrooms are clean and staff is pretty helpful. Have a bus-stop at less than a minute walking distance. They ask to keep heavy luggage in the ground floor luggage room.

I stayed at this hostel for 3 nights, their staff are friendly, the toilet is using bidet which is good 👍😁 The room is quite good, but if you get the upper bed it's not comfortable. You get what you paid, never expect too much. Well, I get free breakfast (bread, cereal, tea/coffee). There's a bus station in front of this hostel and it's near with Mustafa Center.

Ive seen bad reviews about last minute cancellations about this hostel so I was a little scared going here. But everything went out smoothly. I would like to commend the two girls in the reception, they are very welcoming and helpful. If you are the type of tourist who does not mind living on basic necessities, you’ll be fine here. Breakfast is decent with wholemeal bread, butter, jams, peanut butter, coffee, and tea. There’s hot water in the common rest room (I stayed at the 3rd floor), wifi is fast and reliable, and good airconditioning. It’s also very close to everything- chinese food, indian, halal, etc. loved my stay here!

Very cozy and clean hostel. It was the first time I stayed in a Capsule Hostel. Feels very cozy. People are friendly, made some new friends too. Most importantly, they allowed me to store my ridiculously huge full sized keyboard that I needed for my performance. The staffs helped me took care of it. Breakfast is delicious. Toilet and bathrooms are clean. Simply amazing.

All the staff is nice and super friendly, the rooms is standart and you may feel lill bit hot of you choose the lower bunk bed but so far so good. All my stuff is safe too the give locker with keys, the bathroom is pretty small but still fine

If u see the hostel photos, you have to much lower ur expectation since it's really different. The passage beetween the bed is too narrow u can't move much. The same goes with the toilet. So little space. The bed has some smell n not so comfy. Also at nite there are lots of men hanging around outside the hostel. location is far from mrt but near bus station. Good thing the staff is friendly.

Had a subpar experience at this hostel mainly due to the actions of a certain employee. I was constantly watched by the "bigger" employee there which made me fairly uncomfortable with everything I do there from laundry, going up the stairs, breakfast, and even in my capsule late at night where she surprised me by opening up her curtains from the capsule to look at me out of curiosity. (The employees stay there and choose whatever bed they want). That employee seems to think she has a lot of control of the place which I don't believe she is supposed to be any different from the others with her only working there for 8 months at the time of this review. She gave some other guests a "free" upgrade to a queen size bed but unfair to me which I would have given a generous tip if she had.

Rooms basic but functional, strong A/C, staff friendly and kind, excellent breakfast! Bed moderately comfortable. Great luggage storage facility, felt very safe. 4 stars because the shower rooms are so small it’s almost impossible to keep your towel dry, let alone get changed in them.

  • 4/5 Barry P. 1 year ago on Google
A bunk bed but they rebrand it into capsule. The check in was easy, deposit $10 for storage key. The bed was comfy enough for me with 1.8M height and almost 90KG. There are two bathroom and two toilets for 20 pax in the 1st floor. There are no slippers for walking from room to bathroom, there are some available but im afraid it belong to other guests. They should have provided it and gave notes, belong to hotel, so we can use it. I took bath at 5.30am while room are still dark, cant find the switch for bathroom. The water pressure are good, bathing is easy. "Room" has plenty of electrical outlets and 1 reading light. My room is next to lobby and i can still hear people laughing around 1am, while the hotel policy no sound after 10pm.

Worst hostel we have stayed in!!!! Music till 5am every night, very disgusting toilets. Water in the shower didn’t run. Seems that the place was never cleaned. There were hair and dust on my bed and receptionist said that someone will take care of this witching 1 hour (it was 10pm and we wanted to sleep) - the guy came, changed the sheets and sprayed air freshener so you couldn’t breathe but didn’t clean the dust and hair from around!!!! Do yourself a favour and don’t stay there

We stayed in a 24 dorm room in a queen bed. I didn't even know that was possible and actually not that bad at all. It was like a little capsul with lots of privacy. There was a curtain in the front to close and a little light in the bed. We got 4 pillows and a blanket. The room temperature was OK during the night. The facilities are shared in the hall and not that clean. The water taps are all broken and water comes out every where. The showers were cold! Free breakfast contains of toast bread with peanut butter, jam and butter or cornflakes with milk. Staff was not really helpful. So mixed feelings about the place. You get what you pay for. One of the cheaper places to stay in a queen bad in Singapore.
