The rooms is dirty, bed bugs and a fews weird insect. No cupboard, locker not even place to hang your clothes. Have rude guests and even a guest who is not in the right mind to be be safe and could harm you. The staff can't take any action. No dryer and no places to hang your wash clothes to dry. Toilet can't flush and no light for almost 2 weeks. Didn't clean the room everyday unlike other hostels which so much cheaper $17 per day. A few appliances are spoilt. For $25 per day I expected it to more convenient, more good service, important facilities. Hard to enter with electric door digits. Not worth to pay such high price for a lot of bad things. If u are staying in the 3rd floor and has luggage or more big item you have to use a small staircase to climb up.

The location is in the center of Singapore so accessible to tourist attractions. The Korean owners are very kind. The facilities are clean and cozy too. I will stay here next time if I visit Singapore again.

Could use a bit more charm or character in the front area (which you’re definitely welcome to sit in, they also have outdoor seating too - just some simple tables and chairs) + I’d love a larger towel to be included but everything else is awesome!! Clean, comfortable, fast WiFi, friendly hosts (they let me borrow an adapter while I was here AND helped me use a wrench to unstick my selfie stick when it had rusted!). tours/tickets available right here as well. Breakfast is a very short walk (1 block) and it’s Asian style so don’t expect eggs and pancakes, expect soups and roti. Thanks for everything, guys!

Fantastic location at the heart of Singapore! Mrt metro station is just 2 minutes walk away and many places of interest are within walkable distance! Staffs there are friendly and they even sell cheapest attraction tickets! i will definitely recommend this place!

Excellent location, I love little Chinatown. The Maxwell food stalls are 1 minute away and is an amazing place to get cheap food. The hostel itself is basic but has everything you need. I especially liked that the staff is so friendly and helpful. It is clean, beds are good and with more than 2 nights stay you get free laundry service! Only four stars because it lacks the atmosphere of a real hostel. No big common area to chat with other backpackers for example.

Super accommodating staff. The place is clean and has all your necessities: hot shower, toiletries, laundry, toothpaste, water, pantry. Plus they have cheaper attraction rates. The bed was comfy and had curtains for privacy. The only suggestion I wish they can work on is to have multiple door keys per room.

The owner and his staff, Ann were kind and accommodating. Ann actually helped keep my dress I left at the hostel, at my request, till now which is nearly a year. (We are now in the process of handing over to me.) The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the air-cons, noise and cleanliness factors are fine. There is a food court less than 100 m away. If you can take the cab and not be walking to the MRT which is at least10 mins walk away, then this is a most excellent budget stay.

Nice hostel near Chinatown MRT and future - still under construction by the time of this review - Maxwell MRT nearby and shopping centres like People's Park, etc. Amenities included hot water shower, free laundry, free breakfast (only for 7am to 11am at Maxwell Food Centre, about 2 minutes walk) and free towels (you can ask to change them 2 times daily since it is so small). Mind the unwritten rules here, don't eat inside your room and don't be loud or you'll make the owner pout :)

😠 First time in Singapore and the worst experience I’ve ever had in life. We didn’t like the beds and told the front desk we didn’t like it and we want our money back. They didn’t give our money back and we were kinda forced to stay just because our fees were not refundable. Very very congested. They...
