Every time when I visit another country I try to visit local aquarium if it's available. This time I had also a lot of fun. The exposition is very well done. You can have a really good time with your family and friends. Recommend this place. Also important part of this trip that aquarium is on the island of Santosa, there much more thing to do. You can spend here a lot of time and have fun.

It sure lives up to its reputation as one of the world's largest aquariums. Love the layout, and all the detailed information and fun facts about the sea creatures in it. I like that they play magical music throughout the whole aquarium. It is especially peaceful to sit and watch all those sea creatures swim in the open oceans exhibit. They have this cute enamel pins giveaway as well! I got the Christmas jellyfish edition pin and I love it!!

Very nice aquarium. Good to see different fishes. Nothing specific in the aquarium. However you will enjoy watching fish. Do not miss the opportunity to touch different creatures under water.

One of the best place to see in Singapore. Place were all ages can enjoy. Clearly maintained and well organized. As a tourist we need to help aquarium people to maintain harmony and should not disturb co tourists. You can see a great variety of marine fishes. Qudos to people's who maintain the water clarity. Try to reach early so you can spend more than half a day to cover whole place.

The aquarium was quite a great view of place. But in few places we saw leakage of water. Better they find and correct it. They would be taking photos inside by the aquarium sponsors itself but the thing is they won't give you a soft copy and only hard copy of their fixed prices of album and models of pics only would be available. They costs between from 55 to 110$ and its not so worth it. So Better avoid and move on with your walk towards the aquarium.

Sprawling aquarium with many varieties of fish and it’s simply a visible treat to your eyes. You can spend easily 2 hours inside. We loved the tunnel and the huge display tank which was simply superb. Would highly recommend for all ages and this is a great family entertainment. Don’t miss this if you are in Singapore. Rain or shine enjoy your time in this fully closed encounter.

It's a relatively short tour, if you do not dwell too long at one station you can easily finish the entire tour within 1 hour. Apart from that, I really do like being able to see all sorts of fishes and to learn so much about them. It is definitely a good place to bring your kids to during the holidays.

While I was expecting more unique species, the aquarium is great nonetheless, they have some very interesting aquatic creatures on display. I personally loved the jellyfish ones and the HUGE window in the main area. If you're interested in the behind-the-curtains info they have an Aquarist Lab tour where you can see how they breed in-house species, how plankton is cultured, etc.

Really gorgeous place, wish you didn't have to keep moving at some points!! The decoration of the enclosures are beautiful, really recommend bringing your family and friends here. The touch pool is well maintained and the staff are friendly, wish they had a bit more information on the animals! The exhibit with frogs at the end is quite cute too. They sell food here, and merchandise. You can take photos, but no flash!!! Unfortunately, it feels like it's only worth it to go once

Beautiful aquarium, with wide variety if aquatic species. Tickets can be bought on site or online. Would take around 1 hour to complete the aquarium. They also have special fests planned time to time, and at the end you can experience touching a ⭐star fish. At exit you get to fill a feedback form online link, and get a cute soft toy gift.

Great place to visit before Universal Studios. Depending on how much you read, SEA aquarium should take about 60-90 minutes. The aquarium opens at 10, whilst Universal starts at 11am. The aquarium is well maintained and have plenty of staff if you have any questions. The touch pool is fun. They do make you wash your hand prior to touching and they are sinks after as well. Loads of life in the tanks, sort of wonder if they are over crowded. But amazing seeing all the fish, sharks and rays. Overall worth a visit, especially on a rainy day.

Lovely place, a must visit place in Singapore!! One can spend an entire day here watching great many fishes and other aquatic creatures here. Almost spent 5-6 hours there and still felt the time spent there was not enough. (Had to leave the SEA Aquarium by 5 p.m.local time as the premises closes by 5 p.m.) The entry is given only up to 4p.m. Was fortunate enough to see the Scuba divers wishing for Lunar New year

Adjacent to Universal Studios, S.E.A. Aquarium offers a delightful marine adventure. I recommend purchasing tickets online, preferably as part of a combo package for added savings. The aquarium boasts numerous captivating attractions, creating an educational and informative experience, especially for kids. The highlight is the colossal 18 million-gallon tank featuring rays, sharks, and a diverse array of fish, including captivating displays of local marine life. The visually pleasing, colorful fish make for a visually stunning underwater journey. While not overly expansive, the aquarium is well-designed, allowing visitors to explore its wonders comfortably within an hour or so. For a enriching and visually appealing aquatic experience, I highly recommend a visit to the S.E.A. Aquarium.

I do love the interactive displayed toward the end of the exhibit. However was a bit disappointed with some of the fish condition. I kept a lot of fish at home and I do noticed a lot of SEA fish have cloudy eyes, Pop eyes and some have missing eye. Love the jelly fish display, the moray eels and massive grouper. Overall very nice layout and easy to follow.

First time here for me and our then 18-month toddler last month. We absolutely loved it! Perfect wet weather activity while it was raining heavily outside. The tanks were mostly big, and it was amazing to see all the sharks, manta rays, and many other sea creatures. It was a tad crowded when we initially went but the crowd later got dispersed so it was very enjoyable to take our time exploring the sights and sounds. If there’s one feedback we as parents have, it is not so friendly for pushing a stroller up from the car park, we had to walk a very big round to get to the nearest lift. Also wish there were a bit more diaper change stations which would help greatly.

Very educational organized exhibition. The glass tunnel is the best highlight, then it comes up the big fish with circular cylinder shape. We spent more than a hour there, I would like to suggest for those who are hurry in travel, this is a good place to go. Aquarium is somehow not big but what is worth mentioning the space arrangment and flow planning are both good enough let the visitors feel not too overcrowded. There are several interesting displays with simple easy background explanation which rather nice for young generations.

First time to this aquarium with the calming views of marine life. I came here to see the aquarium and was in awe of its massive size. There is a lot of marine life in this aquarium. But I do wish that there was more write up about the various species of fish I the aquarium. I would imagine that this attraction would be very crowded when there is more air travel and it would make this place rather rowdy. I like that there are less visitors now as it makes it a very calm and pleasant visit and I am able to see the marine life at my own pace. I love the display of the jelly fish and definitely intrigued by the last display of the frogs. The shark display was awesome but I was kind of sad that such beautiful and regal marine life like the sharks and dolphins have been relegated a confined space, even though it looks big to me, but definitely the ocean is bigger, no? I also do hope that the organization does inform its visitors more about the endangered species and what it is doing to help to increase the numbers. Right now, I don’t really see much about conservation in this aquarium which is very unlike the direction of our Singapore Zoo which educates visitors about conservation at every corner.

This is a place where you must visit if you are going to Singapore. There are so much of fish species and magical views. You can take photos and get custom memories there. There are gift shops located where you can purchase all fish related gift items. The atmosphere is super cool and cozy. You can peacefully admire the life of the sea creatures. There is a session where you get to touch a star fish for real. It was awesome. Food inside is little expensive and they don’t accept cash payments.

We decided to go to the aquarium while walking nearby. Short wait for tickets then a short walk to entrance and only a short wait to enter. Ticket kiosk is not at the entrance! We were thrilled that the entire experience was indoors and nicely air conditioned. Big relief from the heat and humidity. We were not happy that there is virtually no place to sit down and relax. Way more walking than we expected. There is a large viewing area of a massive tank filled with wonderful fish but almost no seats unless you like sitting on the floor. The exhibits are very well done and it was worth the admission

Definitely would add this to the must visit places in SG, we had such a great experience in one of the world's biggest aquariums! Perfect for families and you can easily spend a couple of hours here, exploring all sorts of creatures of the sea! 🦈🐠🐬🐡🦀 The entrance underwater tunnel is breathtaking and the observation room to admire Open Ocean Habitat Is definitely impressive! Also, one of my personal favorites was the captivating jelly fish section! Highly recommend visiting if you are in Singapore!! 🔝

Healthy fish and tanks are not overcrowded. Fish are looking good and have no aggression towards each other. More efforts can be put into the largest tank, and people should be monitored by staff inside the aquarium to avoid overcrowding people. There are too many noises, kids are hitting tanks everywhere, basically fish are nice, people can be managed to be more orderly. And pay attention to the walls, a lot of information to educate people.

One of the largest aquarium in the world and biggest attraction in the region! There are so many fishes and creatures that I lost count of them. The few greatest attractions to me are the poison arrow frogs, jellyfish, Sea Dragon, Manta rays, sharks and dolphins. The fishes are kept in high tanks and are well maintained. I was impressed with how well the corals and unique sea creatures survive as these creatures require special care and food. The creature that impressed me most is the poison arrow frogs as they are not creatures that I may not have a chance to see in my entire life. I read so much about them and now I get to see how brightly colored they are. So small yet so poisonous!!! The visit would be an eye opener for most visitors. Do not miss this place if you are a visitor here!

Loved this place really!!! Many fishes can be found in different kinds of tanks! Really liked the designs, the lighting and the wonderful different species of fishes found in different tanks!😃 The part of the aquarium that I loved the most is the largest fish tank ever found in the aquarium itself! So many types of fishes, sharks and rays are found in the tank! I even see some divers feeding the fishes in the tank at that time! Also liked the souvenir shop which sold many types of things there like stuffed toys, books and much more items! Would come back here again soon!!🤩☺️🥹👍

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Singapore Sea Aquarium, and I must say it was an mesmerizing experience. As an avid lover of marine life, I was excited to explore one of the largest aquariums in the world, and I was not disappointed. Upon entering the aquarium, I was immediately greeted by a sense of awe-inspiring grandeur. The sheer size of the place is astounding, with numerous tanks and exhibits spread across different themed zones. The attention to detail in recreating natural habitats is remarkable, making it feel as if you've been transported to the depths of the ocean. One of the standout features of the Singapore Sea Aquarium is undoubtedly the massive Open Ocean tank. Walking through the tunnel with crystal-clear acrylic panels on either side, I was surrounded by a breathtaking array of marine life. Majestic manta rays gracefully glided above me, while enormous schools of fish shimmered in the sunlight. It was an awe-inspiring sight that left me in utter amazement.

One of the best places to bring children when at Sentosa island. I gave 4 stars due the tickets for adult are now sold at $43 per pax . It’s quite expensive though for a small area. You can finish the entire place for less than 2 hours. My child loves to visit SEA aquarium. Hope they have annual pass to offer to the frequent visitors like us.

The highlight of the aquarium is definitely the jellyfishes. They look very pretty with the changing lights, and there are many different types of jellyfishes as well. If you are an aquatic animal junkie you will love it here. There are many different types of fishes and the descriptions are very educational. Kids will love petting the starfish. :) If you have the time, would definitely recommend just chilling at the giant tank area to watch the stingrays and fishes swim infront of you. Very nice. After the sea aquarium there’s also a mini exhibition on more fun facts about fishes, although it’s more scientific and no real fishes to see. But educational nonetheless.

Well managed attraction with proper safe distancing measures in place to ensure the visit is a pleasant and enjoyable one. Wide variety of marine species with ample description to learn about those specific exhibit. Would suggest to create some activity handbook for visitors to answer those questions as you move from exhibits to exhibits, learning while on the move. To redeem some gifts as a rewards to entice visitors to learn more, making their visit an enriching one. (e.g Singapore Zoo gave out limited edition good quality pin badges for such activities) We were kind of disappointed after receiving a recycle bag for answering 5 questions within the whole of Sea Aquarium. Did not give 5 stars as was quite disappointed with the snack bar which I spent $22 to purchase basic snacks (corn dogs, corn cup, hashbrow) but the quality of those snacks are disappointing and one of the worst I've eaten.

That's one of my fav place ...I came in 1994 for the first time , with some IFS sports teachers, and then that was my training ground every time I wanted to get fit, which was probably happening every 1st January...the place did not change, apart from the car park that was anyway built a while ago (in 1994 it was still a ground open carpark ). It's so peaceful, especially during weekdays, and especially during covid....today the sky is just transparent to be so blue, and the water is a deep emerald color, thanks tontje reflection of the lush trees surrounding the lake. That was a good day to do a few drones shots, and to track some kataks. That's not only one of lung of Singapore, that's also the link of Singapore and, who can forget about traffic and pollution when they enter the lake compounds...

Bought the tickets online and entered using the barcode sent via email. The whole process was smooth and relatively easy. The staff we encountered from the entry point, during the visit to the exit were generally friendly and approachable. The SEA aquarium is a fantastic place to visit. Filled with wide varieties of ocean creatures. You get to immersed yourself and lose yourself in the underwater world. Stare into the tanks of jellyfishes if you want them relax. "Stand under the sharks' tank" if you want some thrills. There is not sitting place though, probably due to covid, but it's not easy for files with seniors or young kids, if they want to rest their feet.

Great place to ignite curiosity in young ones and even old alike in the marine life. Visited this place after so many years that I liked it a lot. Last trip was when it opened many years back. Now with kids the trip was exciting and memorable as we could see so many fish and marine life and find interesting facts about them. We spent about two hours. The crowd was there but manageable and we had to wait like 20+ mins for the main big aquarium and ocean dome feature due to long queues. All in all fun and enjoyable experience.

Was free for visitors as the one free attraction but limited tickets released so you need to do it right when they release them. Pretty decently sized aquarium and nice viewing gallery. Excellent educational resource for both kids and adults who want to learn more about sea animals. Super comfortable. Proximity to Vivocity means lots of food and drink options after visit. Do avoid coming on the weekend as it does get crowded, loud, and claustrophobic.

One of the best aquariums I've ever visited is the S.E.A. Aquarium. It's incredibly spacious, making it an excellent choice for bringing children and introducing them to aquatic life. The most mesmerizing spot, in my opinion, is the Ocean Dome at the Open Ocean Habitat. Witnessing numerous sea creatures swimming against the backdrop of large glass is truly magical. Don't forget to capture a photo with the Manta Ray!

Great experience spending with my family at SEA Aquarium. It’s worth buying tickets to visit there. Recommended to get the tickets online to avoid long queue. The crews are friendly and helpful. Had a cute souvenir by helping them with the online survey. The only thing is wheelchair rental costs $15 and can be only use inside the aquarium. I didn’t expect that wheelchair rental is that expensive tho. I even rented a wheelchair at Gardens By The Bay and it just cost $2.

One can spend at least 2-4 hrs here depending on where you spend your time. If you spend your time appreciating every kind of species, the colours, shapes and sizes you will take more time. And if you end up reading all the educational material that accompanies the tanks and species, you will take even longer. Well worth it though. Watch out for some mild rudeness, for this place attracts different people from different cultures and what one might consider rude or lack of etiquette is just normal for others. So bring with you a smidge of patience and tolerance and perhaps a sense of humour. - the jellyfish - seahorses - shark tank - morray eels - and many other sea creatures are well worth checking out.

It's one of the best aquariums I have seen. Felt the star fish. Jelly fish is I liked the most. They have nicely maintained the aquarium. With the writes up about the species. The whole aquarium is in 2 half. Like a movie. Interval will come when you see the gaint aquarium. Such a huge one. Where you can relax and sit and grab something to eat and drink. Arrangement is nicely done. Only the restroom and baby's feeder room is only at the entrance. The whole aquarium is accessible for wheelchair and stroller. They have the shop in the aquarium where you can buy the things.

Didn't leave up to the expectations that I had before visiting. It's a good place no doubt on it. I still feel that they need to have engaging activities here to make the experience enjoyable & more personal.. no advance booking is required here as you get the tickets with ease once you reach the place.

Had a great discovery here at SEA Aquarium. It’s not so big but the collections of sea life are quite rare and interesting. We spent around 2 hours here, for those who like to learn more about each sea creatures, i’d recommend to stay longer. It’s fully air conditioned and a hot day on sentosa island, it’s a nice spot to relax and chill for a bit. Hope you guys enjoy your visit there.

A fun excursion. Quite big with lots of different-size sea creatures to look at, informative, too. Not an absolute must for the adult visitor and probably a yawn for most divers, but I enjoyed it. See the pics for a few of the highlights.

Very great and attractive aquarium. I have a great fun. My thought of the place is overall is a little bit small for a price but the show in there is great. The tank environment is set up well which is suitable for the underwater in the tank. The big tank one is got me really exited it huge and so many variety of the creature especially manta ray. It huge. Overall great experince.

Visited the sea aquarium in Singapore with my family, and it was an incredible experience! The Open Ocean tank left us in awe, surrounded by fascinating marine life. The exhibits were diverse, educational, and well-maintained. my niece was thrilled. A perfect family outing; we highly recommend it!

No words needed for this epic creation and maintenance. Not only do they try their best to provide the best viewing experience by providing best lighting, clean display glasses, right temperature, epic soundtracks,,, if you are willing to spend more time for knowledge, you get to learn some of the coolest facts about marine life and conservation efforts. Brilliant!

Aquarium that overbooks itself. The aquarium closes at 5 and if you come at 2pm there’s 3 hours wait. You do the math and realise you’ve been made a fool of. Avoid at all costs.

We visited the aquarium last summer and had a great time. There was so much to see and types of plants and fish that I haven't seen elsewhere. The aquarium was laid out well with different types of tanks. We also went through the museum at the start which was interesting and unexpected. The only downside was that it was difficult to see into some of the smaller tanks due to the amount of people crowding them. I also though the aquarium would be a little bit bigger.

This is my first entry into the biggest aquarium in Southeast Asia located in Sentosa, an off shore island in Singapore. Due to the promotion of our National Day celebration, I got 20 tokens to sign up for the Open Ocean Tour which is conducted inside the aquarium. The guides were friendly and answered all my questions while I took photos of the marine animals. The collection was an amazing 10,000 marine animals. But I have always been attracted to the graceful string rays as they glide through the ocean so effortlessly. The sea jellies are my favourites, never get tired of admiring them. I always take pictures of these 2 whichever part of the world I am in. Learnt alot more with the guides than moving around on my own. Clear up a few misconceptions of the mysterious deep sea animals and the ocean habitat. Great efforts in making this the most famous place in Southeast Asia to visit. Seeing parents educating their children about sea creatures, just simply confirms that this is about the best place for family outing once a year. Better still, have a staycation to maximize all the fun around.

Totally under the sea moment with so many things to learn and enjoy for both kids and adults. There are very strict social distancing measures which made me feel safe and did not affect my experience. Really an eye opener and worth a visit!

[COVID Period] The wait time to get in was about 50mins. But once in, the thinner crowd provided a more pleasent experience than before. Tanks are still as beautiful as ever. No dolphins at the moment. Touch pool doesn't allow touching at this moment for hygiene purposes. The sight of a squadron of manta rays gliding high above your head underwater is something to behold. SEA Aquarium is one of the best aquariums to visit, although some may feel that it is somewhat overshadowed by other more interesting aquariums in Asia.

Lots of interesting fish and underwater creatures to see including sharks, rays, jellyfish, etc. Although safe distancing measures were in place, it was not too crowded (1030-1200) and we were still able to see all the exhibits up close. Would have appreciated a bit more information on the creatures, or interactive elements.

Last year I went to S.E.A Aquarium, it was a pleasant experience since the Aquariums there are beautiful, the aquarium’s staff were kind to me and my family. The number of diverse fishes and other exotic aquatic animals was simply a feast for the eyes, my favorite was the Big Tank that was very stunning and they all look very healthy, it’s probably because of the amount of love they were given by the caretakers. Even though it was very crowded I managed to see most of the exhibition, it was a spectacular experience not to mention how the place is very clean despite all the people in the aquarium. If I have to sum my experiences it’ll have to be these words beautiful exhibition, very kind and polite staff.

A very good place to visit and spend time with kids. The displays of marine life is awesome. However, need some legwork, there are ramps for strollers/wheelchairs though. Would be better if there are benches for elderly to sit for a short break but there are none.

  • 5/5 Neha S. 3 years ago on Google
You'd think it's just another aquarium with various fishes but there's so much more to it. Located below "sea level", the makers have done some amazing job of maintaining the natural habitat of tonnes of sea and fresh water flora and fauna. The corals, jelly fishes and shipwrecks are the prettiest. 10/10 for creativity, cleanliness, informativeness, and hospitality. A must visit place with kids and adults interested in marine cultures.

  • 5/5 Shihui C. 3 years ago on Google
Amazing display at the SEA aquarium. Recommend that you purchase the tickets online as it is cheaper than if you buy it direct from the ticketing booth. When i purchased my ticket online, there are 2 choices to choose from, admission before 11am and admission after 11am. So if you are heading to the aquarium and want to avoid the crowd, I suggest that you avoid the 10+ to 11+ timing.

  • 2/5 Huiru T. 3 years ago on Google
This structure in front of the tank is taking away the space for visitors to enjoy the majestic scene. I think this is really a nice place to visit and explore, but isn't really an elderly friendly place. There is no resting point at all, throughout the visit. It is very hard to enjoy the aquarium when you can sit a little to rest.

Such an amazing and magnificent Aquarium. Such calming vibes, with the background music matching well with the atmosphere/environment. Definitely a lot of species and types of sea creatures to be seen. A lot to be learn. SEA AQUARIUM also has side activities for children, and they also have theming following the season. For example, Halloween. Really recommended. Will definitely go again!

Came here when they were doing the Halloween Deep Boo Sea campaign but was sorely disappointed by the hype. Apart from giving out free masks and a pumpkin basket (only for kids), there were little themed activities/ decoration to hype up the atmosphere for Halloween so I'm unsure why it was marketed this way?!? However, judging by the experience on it's own, the space is massive and the collection of species to view were amazing. Also, staff were friendly and welcoming so it's still a pleasant experience!

Lots of rusted patches n dirty worse of all it can cut u.. the flooring patch up nicely. Use a good cam for night video (no flash)or latest phone for ur 60 fps video. One silly thing... they installed new wash hand basin n nice looking dyson hand blower at the last section of viewing. For u to wash ur hand b4 touching the real star fish n other stuff. Ok...whats silly? it is using old press-on tap..@.@" shouldnt it be auto using sensor...?? the public toilet r better. Sorry not much pictures to share. Mostly i did was video ^_^

Checked out early Dec late morning on weekday; small crowd there but queue moves fast, exhibits are a few minutes wait tops. Intended to use SRV, but the agent website were unavailable (duh!) somehow + there is additional step to clock in the agent ticket with RWS as requisite extra confirmation of visit (duh #2); anyway, noticed the agent website also priced higher vs RWS direct, so i skipped SRV redemption this time. For those with free Christmas mask redemption, recommend you pick up at end of the tour (near souvenir corner), instead of jamming up at start of tour (a good 20min wait then). One other downside to visit during this CB period is a total lack of sitting inside aquarium (only available at end of tour after SharkTank), which was a good 1.5hours of leisurely walk & see, but without sitting from start to end. Many exhibits were pretty interesting. As such, word of caution to peeps with old folks that could use a rest stop after 15 - 30min. Nevertheless, check out the solitary giant tuna (i think) in the Ocean tank, quite thrilling up close!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday at S.E.A Aquarium’s Aqua Gastronomy and it was a really AMAZING dining experience. We have always enjoyed going to the S.E.A Aquarium but dining there in the tranquility of the night is just so surreal and whimsical. You would have thought they would be serving touristy food but NO, the dishes are really refreshing and delicious and the service was great. It was really fun watching divers dressed as Santa and an elf swimming around waving at us and putting up a season’s greetings banner. The night ended with a dramatic burst of confetti and streamers 🎉 and the pleasant surprise garnered a spontaneous round of applause from the diners👏 Definitely a hard to beat experience and we were lucky to have made a booking early.

The aquarium displays were well-structured, beautiful and informative. Everything was systematic. However, it was heartbreaking when it came to the dolphin exhibit. I did not have an opinion on dolphins in captivity before, but seeing this dolphin wandering in a tank devoid of foliage, it is a far cry from its natural habitat. They are animals which require alot of space, and the image of the poor-sized and minimalist enclosure is definitely not ideal for the dolphin. Hopefully the conditions will be improved, although the best is a free-roaming dolphin.

Not considered that big in terms of size and the fish collections are not as complete as other overseas aquarium. However it's well organized and well maintained. There are more than enough staff to ensure covid-19 protocol was well observed. 3 course set lunch menu at $68++ in Aquarium Restaurant was a good deal but its service standard need to be upgraded.

Went with my parents and we all used up the SG rediscover vouchers. Amazing aquarium, there were heaps of sea creatures for us to look at. I think it took about 60-90 minutes for us to walk through it all. Best part was also touching the starfish and sea cucumber at the end of it. Def a nice activity to do with your family

For all aquarists, look no further. While the general public may only talk about the fish, the hobbyist knows the crazy amount of work and care to sustain the reef and freshwater tanks, the different feed that must be fed and then water maintained to keep the tank clean and thriving. Kudos to the SEA Aquarium team.

Crowd management is horrific, where pre booking of time slots had to be made. Swarms of visitors crammed within limited spaces, and safe distances barely kept within the long queues for different exhibits. 40 minutes waiting time was expected. The frustrations are expressed on the tones & manners of many safe distancing ambassadors trying to herd us like schools of fish trapped in a suffocating maze. This defeats the whole purpose of prebooking time slots, as im certain that the venue is aware of the numbers yet are incapable of adequete handling... Oh and i must add that one safe distancing ambassador, thought it was a good idea to squeeze 5 people into ONE touch pool booth- so that she can clear the queue faster.

Please remember to queue for certain exhibits and please do not litter. Experienced a couple eating popcorn and spilling them. Alright, so since we got a free voucher that everyone gets, to see the tourist attractions. One of the attractions we chose was to go look at some aquatic animals. There is quite a number actually, the highlights for me were the jellyfish, the stingray, there were dolphins too, definitely eels, small seahorse, hammerhead shark I think were there in the beginning. My family and I, went during the CNY holidays since we thought everyone would be doing house visiting and maybe they are lesser people but instead there were more people😅. The tickets were all digital so we just had to show to the counter our phone and then we can go down the escalator and slowly the aircon creeps in and everything was cold and blue hue surroundings. In the beginning, u will walk through the cylinder and surrounding is the water with all the fish and I think there is one hammerhead inside. Then you will see the small individual aquariums like the seahorse, etc. Just for ur info, the whole travel route is a circle and in the middle is a huge cylinder with corals and lots of different coloured fishes. If you are lucky within one of the big aquariums they will staff with the scuba suits feeding the fishes food and you can see the whole process through the glass frame. The jellyfish part of the journey was nice, one of the aquariums have constant change in colour giving the jellyfish more attention to the tourists. After that, you will see the dolphins, there are two and they sometimes swim upside down and do some closeby runs near the frames so everyone can see the close up view of them. At the end of the circle/journey there are souvenier stalls if you want to buy the cup or the shirt, etc. Continue forward is the rainforest trails, showing different types of tree frogs. Lastly, is the starfish but the que was too long so we decided not to go in line. Overall the experience was good, fun but as usual i have to give the good and the could be improved. The ones that could be improved is I hope they could put like line markers on the floor so its easier to line up for which aquarium to que up. Maybe some side wall plates so people can rest and lean against the wall along the journey Maybe could add some crabs or squids The ones that are good is that, the lighting throughout is amazing i can see the attractions clearly even if they are people blocking the view the aquarium have some basic guidelines and eveyone have a chance to look at the animals

Beautiful reservoir with ample parking spots, and it’s not too crowded in the morning. There are numerous maps placed around the place and the tracks are really easy to follow. It is conveniently a 11-13km loop (if you follow the yellow path) with boardwalks in between - it really is very peaceful and covered so it’s not very hot. Would recommend! Lush with different species of plants and you can see the occasional Komodo dragon wading in the reservoir.

(Translated by Google) The previous generation living in the north had few opportunities to go out or visit. The entertainment in those years was simple, and there were not many leisure attractions. The sightseeing memories that could be squeezed out were mostly day trips during the student period. The Ritchie Reservoir is mostly a must-see. At that time, having the opportunity to travel was a major event that could be discussed with the neighbors for a few days. It was earth-shattering to be able to eat a package of fried rice noodles at the gazebo in Mailizhi, or buy a satay to taste. At that time, there were few things that people were in contact with, and the ability to watch live performances in the pavilion of the pond in Mailizhi was indescribably shocking. There are elegant lotus flowers in this park. What is even more rare is that the protected and intact original ecology can give us a rough understanding of what a tropical rain forest is. There are also trails in the jungle, walking, jogging, whether this is the miracle of the creator or the wiseness of our government, what you can see is enough to make people feel grateful and praised. Take your family, confidant, lover, or beloved pet, this park will give you countless admirations and even unforgettable memories.

You got to get your tickets prior online so that you can reserve your slot on RWS website for current Safe Distancing Measures. This is to ensure that they don’t go over the number of allotted people at each time. Have your ticket numbers ready. It’s like 16digits.... and having to redo is no fun. I had to redo 2x cos took too longer and it hang at submission. The overall Experience is more rigid as you have to follow the flow. More waiting at some exhibits to ensure we don’t overcrowd. Good as it gives you a personal space to view but means more waiting. Overall we. Took about 2-3hours. Still a great place but do expect more waiting time and no seating/rest areas in the aquarium due to the pandemic.

  • 4/5 Stacey S. 3 years ago on Google
Bought the tickets from klook using the Singapore rediscover vouchers (NB: the tickets are cheaper if you buy directly from the aquarium website. It also comes with an additional retail voucher) and spent an enjoyable and relaxing afternoon at the aquarium. The exhibitions were arranged beautifully. Only downside was that there were no place to sit down. So gone are the days where one could sit in front of the aquarium and watch as life swims past.

Tickets came with free snacks (corndog) that can be redeemed at the beginning of the aquarium (before the shipwreck exhibit). Corndog is not halal (pork - we asked the staff) so they changed it to popcorn for us. Safe distancing is maintained throughout the whole place with certain tanks requiring us to queue to view (dolphin exhibit, jellyfish exhibit and the big tank near ocean restaurant to name a few). Those non popular ones, just need to maintain SD, stay in the box. There used to be seats inside but they removed all already. For those elderly, it's recommended to rent wheelchairs at the guest counter (beside the escalators, after they've scanned your tickets). Rental is $15 but deposit of $50 (cash only) required. The discovery pool has been moved to the end. Need to wash hands before you can touch the starfishes and sea cucumbers. The queue is super long though.

Very pleasantly surprise with the exhibits. Very well organised on the exhibits. So is the COVID-19 SMM crowd control inside. Visitors need to be mentally prepared that there are no place for sitting at all throughout the whole journey. For us, we spent about 4.5-hrs inside (but we did take quite long viewing & enjoying the fishes inside.) One thing to mention too is that the directional signage are not too good in Sentosa. So there are some confusion in finding our way from the Cable Car Station to the Aquarium. Overall, the S.E.A. Aquarium is definitely an Attraction worth to visit. =D

When I was at SEA Aquarium, it bring back old memories.Remind me of Van Kleff Aquarium when I was young. My parent used to bring us there during school vacation. Sadly to said, it was demolished to make way for development. The exhibits at SEA Aquarium were much better, it open up our knowledge of the wonderful marine life that we take for granted. It also gave us the sense of preserving and taking care of our marine environment for our future generation to enjoy. Kudos to the staff and organisation of SEA Aquarium.

This place is good for educational purposes? But think again in a deeper point of view. It is not. There are alot of ways to open a convention for education on underwater sea life and corals. What we all may be missing is the part that knowing these fishes have nothing to thrive in these aquariums tank. No natural habitat. Imagine if I take you out from the sea away from your home and family and dump you in a "cage" forever. Looking closer as the dolphins swim in the tank felt like they dont have a choice but to act upon human entertaintments. Or they wont be fed. Its very heart broken for me. I visit this place and took videos to show about mankind greed for monetary gain trapping all poor animals souls here. Videos will be posted. PM me for them.

A very well designed experience that's ruined by the repetitive Covid messaging on every digital screen at every tank. The message is long, and slow and you'll have to wait for a long time to read about the creatures in the tank. I hope they place a few messages at the entry and there after allow people to enjoy the experience of the place. Having the same safety message on every digital screen is annoying. I ended up using Google lens to scan images to find out more so I could move on.

Good points: Kid friendly Clean Helpful and friendly staff Has food counters at two places in the entire circuit Open ocean is an amazing part of this acquarium tour.......it feels so serene just sitting on the steps and listening to soothing background music, this was highlight of my visit. Two tunnels.......my kid loved the one that has sharks swimming on top. Not so good points: Description/names of fishes were on boards slightly away from acquarium, which was a discomfort. Moreover it had the covid safe distancing warning flashing so had to wait to read info/fish name. No choice of items that can be bought with food vouchers........it's fixed what they give which is ice cream cornetto. No dolphin show; waited very long for dolphin but did not get to see even one.

Total is around 2hrs ++ to complete the attraction.. Prices for the photo is $50+ so as the globe.. Buy both at $90.. Do bring your families down..

Nice and large area with plenty of sea creatures for observation. The free treat ice-cream is enjoyable for the kids. While the Ping Fong establishment is nice for photo-taking, not much interactive booths are present and no mascots available as advertised. As for the MasterCard Exclusive gift, it is just a black dust bag with sea aquarium logo.

This attraction is getting tired. Place need some touch up, deserves a new lease of life. Sea ceatures are all nice but doesn't live up to world standards if you ask me. And it's probably abt a 2 hrs walk. I feel seats or benches should be installed for patrons. How can old ones take it? They call it and name it and even advertise it like as if it's an international attraction, so please prove it as it is. More can be done to live up to its name!!

This is the first aquarium I had visited and was awed by the size and structure of the aquarium. The aquarium is very well maintained by the staff. The aquarium was said to be the largest in the world. There were few rare sea creatures such as the Manta Ray and Giant Crab

It was a very chill and relaxing day for us at the SEA Aquarium. We had fun spotting out different types of sea creatures. The lady at the touch pool was very friendly and informative! We had a lot of fun at the touch pool!

Came here on Friday 2pm and spent about 3 hours here. There was no queue and admission was smooth. Staff were friendly and watching the sea creatures is so very therapeutic. Note that feeding time on website is not applicable during covid, feeding is as and when. Everything is great, except for the digital info board which shows this hepa filter ads and clean air filtering thing. We would be reading about the sea creatures and the screen just switches to hepa air filter. And we have to wait for the whole ad to play before it goes back. This is on almost every, single info board and pretty frustrating. Im just wondering, do we really need to see the ad so many times. If it’s a regulatory thing, maybe split the screen half? Or just show on every alternate board? I feel like my reading speed has improved so much after this trip.

Nice visit on a hot Sunday. We managed to see the feeding of the dolphins during our panel tour. However no photography allowed so no pictures but still a lovely experience. The wonders of not only sea creatures but also poison frogs.

We never get bored of this place even with repeat visits. Well curated marine life on display with strong messaging on threats to nature and what we could do about it. The pace and gaps between the display is just nice and with low crowd during this COVID-19 off season there's no better time to be a local tourist. Expect to spend an hour or more here and answer the never ending questions from the little ones. Some of the information on the marine life on display had been removed which make it a little challenging to explain to them what they are admiring.

Free entry thanks to Singapore Rediscover vouchers! Some impressive looking aquariums but the species of fishes was not as vast and diverse as River safari. However the Jellyfish section was really beautiful and breathtaking!

Been here during the COVID-19 2pax-rule on a weekday so there wasn't many other visitors - which was great. The S.E.A. Aquarium gives relaxing vibes and to see the big aquarium and the shark aquarium was really quite an experience. On the other hand, the supporting artwork which is supposed to educate on the oceanic life is really focused on kids and doesn't fit the style of the Aquarium which makes the parts between the aquariums look like some elementary school went to town on the designs. Additionally, looking at the aquariums, it was annoying that the description boards next to the animals kept switching to the COVID-19 rules which were then displayed way longer than the description and made me lose interest most of the time. However, seeing the Manta Rays and the other animals so close was really a mind blowing experience!

Definitely an upgrade from the now defunct underwater world on the other end of Sentosa. There are a large number of species of fish on display in well kept tanks. The health of the fish seem to be pretty ok. Some of the exhibits are quite empty (the deep water crab tank only had 2 crabs). The displays are nicely spaced out from each other but the tanks don't seem vibrant at all. The main disappointment (although harsh) I have is that I have visited this aquarium quite a few times over the years since its opening. Sad to say that it feels like a far cry from its earlier days. There used to be more dolphins too (heard that they passed on 😞). It's worth a visit but don't expect Georgia Aquarium/Okinawa Aquarium standards.

Visited on early Dec 2021, less visitors in the aquarium now hence I able to enjoy the calming view of the marine life. There is a lot of different fish species in the aquarium. Recommend to spare at least 3-4hours to visit the aquarium at slower pace

One of the best places to visit for kids in Singapore. Takes you to a different world. I found some of the scenery very therapeutic. Really great experience.

Overall still a great place to visit even though it looks a little tired and old. Heard that they are upgrading it soon, so looking forward to better conservation, education and care efforts for the animals there. Hope the entrance tickets won't increase in price, at $38+ per person, it was already quite expensive. Beautiful marine life, worth seeing and the staff are polite and friendly. The "conveyor belt" system to see the marine life is no longer available. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to see all the exhibits so if you have elderly with you, have mobility issues or little ones, please note that there are absolutely no seats available. Would like to suggest single seats to be placed in corners away from the exhibits so that the vulnerable ones can rest for a while before seeing other exhibits, it was very exhausting and I suffered for the next few days.

So-so experience. Expected more species of sea creatures. The 2 pathetic dolphins looked so caged. Sharks were too small size. No wow factor at all… $35 per ticket thanks to Singapore rediscover vouchers from govt.

Love this place. 4th time there and still loving the experience. Although visitors are not allowed to sit and enjoy the view at the main attraction of watching the rays and sharks, it was still good. Very surreal. It only takes about 1.5hrs to complete all the exhibits. I particularly like the jellyfish area. Just beautiful!

  • 4/5 Howard T. 2 years ago on Google
Visiting on day 1 of CNY. Quite a number of staff around to ensure people queue up for up close look at the exhibits. However, there are still people who doesn’t know to queue or keep a safe distance. Take care of your kids there! I believe the staff are trying their best but more resources could be deployed to ensure safe distancing and queue management.

Really a very big aquarium . Keep it half a day for it to relax and view aquatic life . It has amazing collection of aquatic animals. Entry is smooth and one can take hundreds of photos of beautiful sea creatures inside it. Some of the aquarium are so big that one feel that u r inside the sea.

Came on a Saturday, a lot of kids around, and it is super nosy once you get yourself to a small space like the tunnel, the view is nice, but there were too many people that crowded the whole area while there wasn’t any staff to manage the flow of people and the nosiness. The aquarium is smaller than I thought it would be, we only spend around two hours inside. Basically, you have to wait patiently as people just take up all the space in front of the glasses. It is nice that they have spaces available for you to sit and look at the big glasses screen. I don’t think the crowded situation will be better during the weekday as many tourists are around.

Jelly fish is an eye catcher you shouldn't miss! Loved the place, loved the aquarium overall. This place has my heart. If you are in Singapore never miss to visit this sea aquarium. If you're a Sea Ocean and Marine lover you definitely could try this tourism Spot at least once for wonderful realistic Sea aquarium VARITIES of sea creatures nearly view visual treats. I can walk and explore this place for more than two hours. Many types of SEA creatures are inside the aquarium and well maintained by the organizer of Sentosa island. Air-conditioned is fixed inside this place so it doesn't feel as hot .

The aquarium is truly a delight, though be forewarned of its crowded nature and occasional impolite visitors, not to mention lively children. Exercise a tad of patience during your visit. The jellyfish exhibit is particularly captivating, offering ample photo opportunities. It's an ideal spot for children, romantic outings, or family excursions. And a pleasant surprise awaits at the end—a complimentary plushy gift for those willing to complete an extensive survey. Buy the tickets in advance to save time, you can just walk right in if you do that to avoid the line.

Seriously beautiful this place. We went to sea aquarium at public holiday, even it was crowed but the path line is good. The environment and atmosphere made us feeling comfortable and calm. It's an interesting and well done, enjoyable place. It cost AUD $48-50 but still a nice price you would love to pay for life experience, super recommend!!! (But better not go there at public holiday 😂🤣)

It's very nice to spend relaxing time. Good explanations about sealife and other biology topics. Obviously, it's crowded with kids, so just go with them and the flow. I think it's a little bit expensive as I didn't feel that it was that big, but the 2 big aquariums are impressive and you can stare to the animals for a very long time.

The Sea Aquarium in Singapore is a mesmerizing aquatic wonderland that left me truly awe-struck. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the immense underwater world and the meticulous attention to detail in recreating diverse marine ecosystems. The colossal Open Ocean tank was a highlight, offering a surreal experience as I watched manta rays, sharks, and a vibrant array of fish gracefully glide by. Each themed zone, from the Coral Garden to the Shipwreck Habitat, was beautifully designed, creating an immersive atmosphere with interactive displays. The dedicated staff’s passion for marine conservation was evident, and their educational presentations added depth to the experience. It’s a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and families, leaving you with a deep appreciation for our oceans and their incredible inhabitants.

Better than expected. Been to a lot of aquariums but this one is actually one of the best ones. It was nice to space out looking at the jelly fish with that calm music in the background. And really liked how they spread awareness about sea pollution. Also not like other aquariums they let to touch the starfish as well as have a free guide to introduce some unique fishes.
