I have been a member of this Gym for 2 years and 3 months. The Gym is fantastic and the PT team are worth every penny and over my time I have purchased thousands of $ worth of sessions. This week however I have received such Poor service from the sales and membership team. In a time where members are finding it so difficult to even get a slot at the gym to train the gym continues to charge FULL rates; I have asked to have use of the other gyms- which comes with a charge; I was told I had to sign a contract for another 12 months; an extra $420 per year on my membership to gain this access which seems unfair since I can't get into the gym I already pay for. Eventually they backed down after I said I would pay for 3 months...however this came with a $107 processing fee and if i wanted to just come back and train at Ngee Ann city after my 3 months then my membership costs would go up because my costings were 'out of date'. I could get around these extra charges if I signed up for another 12 months. Absolutely absurd how this sales team think this is a reasonable solution to the problem. For anyone looking to sign up to this gym- expect zero service from the sales and membership team- you will be lucky to ever see them again let alone manage to get them on the phone after they have signed you up. If you are looking for a PT then I can highly recommend them - they are the only reason I would stay here.

PURE Fitness Singapore My husband and I are extremely disappointed with the sudden changes implemented. We have been with the gym for 5&7 years respectively and deeply affected by the following events: 1. sudden closure of the gym in Ocean Financial Centre. 2. Cutting of operational hours by 2 hours. The reason for us to sign up was because the OFC closes at 12am, then during pandemic 11pm and now 10pm. We deemed these as breach of contract, this is not what we have sign up for. Honestly, with these uncalled for changes and ever escalating increase in membership prices, we will likely not continue.

I was greatly impressed by how spacious the place is. The lounges are really cozy as well and a great place to spend the day on the weekends. Access can be a bit confusing at first. It is located at the atrium next to Cartier, once you get used to it you realize how near is the lifts and it is accessible from every takashimaya floor which is of great convenience. Toilet is also the cleanest out of all the branches as well.

It’s getting a bit funny, monthly fees have been increased by more than 10% to over SGD 200.-, opening hours have been reduced to 10pm each day, equipment and facility maintenance is terrible. Virgin Active might be the better option finally.

Highly disappointed with the new strategy. Pure Fitness used to offer a luxurious gym experience, featuring the best instructors and facilities. Now, it feels like a regular gym with very limited class choices, and many of the top instructors have left. I've been a member since its opening, which spans a good six years, and I'm now having to cancel my membership and commit to another year due to the 'new pricing' policy. Additionally, it's worth noting that they no longer accept payments via Amex. It appears they are cutting costs in various areas, yet the membership fees remain premium. Prioritizing recruitment at the expense of loyal members is a questionable approach.

The gym facility itself is great but wear and tear kicks in by now and maintenance is slow if any. Monthly fees have recently been increased a lot with the promise for new/better workout stations, but 6 months down the road no changes at all. Opening hours have been reduced lately as well, making the gym from 5pm till closing at 10pm overcrowded, no available workout stations at all. The locker maintenance is terrible and super annoying that some don’t work at all, other lockers won’t open anymore and staff need to be called in to assist. And this happens very frequently. Management is not responsive to nothing and ignores any requests, can even be bothered to reply an email.

They continue charging your credit card even though your contract is cancelled/over. Then they aren’t contactable and nobody is able to help you. Very poor service.

Great gym that sadly is not adapting that well to the new times, the current booking system is draconian and makes finding a gym spot way too difficult without the gym adapting prices or services... There has not been much innovation also and the changing area could do with a few more water features as right now it is a bit lacking compared to similar priced gyms. Having said all that it is maybe one of the best offers for a full gym in the area.

Do not sign up your membership with Jasmine! She’s a scam and will ignore all your messages/calls when issues arise. I was promised 750 points when I referred someone (this is written in contract), but til today I have not received the full points. The manager then called me and said I do not entitle these missing points because the sales person (Jasmine) told the information wrongly even though the points are written in my contract. In addition, she also agreed to transfer my membership to Ngee Ann City and honor the price under my original contract (but as a condition, I extend my contract for another 12 months). I agreed. To my surprise, Pure has been charging me $25 additional fee every month. I tried to message Jasmine many times to figure out what’s going on. She ignored all my messages (without an acknowledgement of receipt). Stay away.

I was a member for 3 months as written in the contract. pure continued to charge me for an additional 2 months, and it’s been 1 month since I took contact with my former sale. I didn’t get refund. The gym is excellent and coachs are great, but I won’t advise you to come there as the administration is not on point.

Important to take note, I was told according to their clause, if early termination is approved, even when it is with justifiable cause (either due to medical reasons, or relocation), we would require to pay the difference by recalculating to the Highest monthly fee rate for all the months paid + termination fee of $214. The sauna was not functioning for couple of months at the beginning of 2022. I have reported multiple times that the men's sauna has a strong sewage odour, and infested with drain flies.

Pure fitness now has a booking system, which penalises you for not showing up or late cancel. They now block your account for several weeks and dont allow you to book a gym slot even if you are paying for a full membership - This is completely unacceptable. A lot of people who sign up to pure have an office job and sometimes last minute meetings pop up and you are forced to cancel. Most people are not able to foresee this hours ahead. (It is already good enough that we are canceling on the app to allow other people to take our spot). If you are working in a normal office job, I highly discourage signing up to pure fitness as it only gives you problems after problems. There are several other gyms in the area including one across the street.

I don’t recommend this gym. Rude staff, lazy and incompetent trainers, and have seen rats walking around more than once. Luckily my membership almost ends, will go to different gym.

They still charging my card for months even after I finished my contract and requested to terminate it a few months ago. I've called several times and msged their sales manager, but no one is updating the information into their system to stop charging me. And they still not refund me yet

The gym has a great range of facilities, but be very careful when getting a membership card. Contracts are automatically renewed when they expire, and you will be billed every month without any staff or email notification. And it is very difficult to cancel. I tried contacting the sales consultant at the gym as well as the receptionist and after a long time no one contacted me about cancelling my membership.

Worst customer service. Called them thrice for a consultation for personal training and never called back. The counter person in the gym directed me to the one who is in charge of personal training and when she answered the phone, she immediately said she’s busy and will call back later but NEVER DID. Can imagine how irresponsible the staff would be knowing that they cannot even manage to do consultation properly.

DO NOT expect any help or service from the useless sales. Can't even explain my invoice details, and always responded more than a week.... seriously the worst ever...

I am a member for Suntec Yoga and Fitness, which allow me to access to other Yoga and fitness locations. My membership ends Oct 16, 2023 and sales guy approached me in late Aug to renew my membership. I upgrade my membership from normal to transformation with full prepayment of 24 month. During the renewing process, the Pure sales guy didn't inform me at all on Suntec closure, which was the main reason for me to sign up for the membership. I requested for the full refund as my renewed membership didn't even started as I requested this on 1 Oct (Sunday). I have not heard from Pure management yet. It's really frustrating.

Poor Customer Service.

Wanted to inquire about the free trial stated on their website so I headed down in person, the first guy was nice and told me they had no slots right at the moment, but that wasn’t the best part just yet. I left after giving them my phone number, another guy then messaged me saying they have a slot in a few minutes. I rushed over and waited for 30 minutes only to realise my name was already crossed off the list. The other guy then walked over all surprised to see me, sat me back down and told me I had to pay $53.50 for literally one session. I said nope, he then asked if I wanted to go in to check the place out, declined again and he stood up and walked off without looking at me with a silent “ok”. Thanks for that lmao

I have been a member of Pure Fitness in Singapore for 3 years now... And starting from this year everything didn't look good. I understand that the company went through tough times during COVID, but I believe they put their cost cutting measures to extreme... And it feels they also stopped caring about their members and their reputation. Here is a summary so far: * Closed 1 gym and 1 yoga locations. * Operating hours were reduced, now they close at 10 pm. * Number of available group classes were reduced. * Now selling gym with yoga only. No option to buy gym only. I am not interested in yoga... like, at all. Why should I pay for that? * Facilities get older, some of them are out of service most of the time (e.g. men steam room in Suntec). * Some of the equipment in the group studio became some sort of rusty (you can see it on the bars), rubber cover from weights falls off, boxing gloves and pads were in a very bad state before they closed FUZE studio. * Promoting their special FUZE studio, forcing you to buy a costlier package and close this studio for renovation slightly after with no replacement for more than 3 weeks already... and I still don't see FUZE classes in the app. Try to imagine the feelings of folks who just bought the most costliest membership. * Conducting classes in a studio where renovation is happening (not a FUZE one). * Cancel classes in this studio straight before class should start, because the day before equipment was moved or just disconnected (not sure about details here). Consider informing the instructor and members beforehand?.. At least in the evening the day before? And here is a cherry on top of the cake: THEY INCREASED PRICES AFTER ALL OF THAT! I don't think that is something that you can call a premium gym experience... The only thing that keeps me sticking with this gym is their group class instructors. They are simply the most experienced, professional and cheerful instructors that I've seen in Singapore so far. But it feels like they also look quite demotivated now... My recommendation to Pure would be: try to focus on people and reputation... not on money. A good reputation will bring more people, more people will bring more money. Right now you are cutting costs, scaring people away. When more people start to leave and pull out money, no cost cutting measures helps you here.

Be careful. Even terminated, they keep charging your membership. Even I go there confirm many times, next mon still charging. I have to cancel my card.

Marvin is a true asset to the Pure Fitness team, my most recent experience with Marvin truly stood out and merits special recognition. I found myself in a somewhat challenging situation when the person who usually served me at Pure Fitness left without notice. This sudden change left me feeling somewhat apprehensive about the continuation of my membership and the services I had come to expect. Marvin stepped in to assist me with the utmost professionalism, taking the time to address my inquiries and concerns regarding my membership. What truly struck me about Marvin was his unwavering patience and his attention to detail. It is not often that you encounter someone who will go to such lengths to ensure that a client's needs are not only met but exceeded.

Bright and clean space with good facilities: never had a bad experience with billing or pausing my membership. Arvin and Gavin were both really helpful and kind in our interactions! Staff at reception are also really lovely.

I have my doubts about the security of the lockers. When I am back from my class, my locker was ringing meaning there were multiple failed attempts (by someone) to open my locker. I overhead someone approaching the staff stating they forgot which locker they stored their items. I wonder how the staff will find the person' locker? By opening up one by one without verification of the person? Also shortly after I went to the changing room and tried to unlock my locker again, my locker cannot be unlocked. I am not sure if the locker is faulty (it could be unlocked just 5min prior) or the staff opened my locker for the person to check if its her locker. When I asked, the staff rudely walked away and ignored my question. To add on, class packs and points which were promised during sign up 2 months back, were never credited. Followed up a few times on this already but still not resolved

Gym has been on a decline over the past years - regularly running out of work out towels (when I wrote in over a year ago, the then manager claimed that they were ordering new stock but to date it's still unrectified) - equipment worn out and slow to be replaced - group HIIT classes that occur in common gym areas taking up space and hogging already limited equipment such as bosu balls for an entire hour even though it's only used for 5-10 minutes - reduced operation hours and from 4 to 3 locations even though prices increased - poor upkeep with commonly used areas being dusty, showers with lots of flies - poor maintenance of facilities. Imagine paying over $200 a month to come to leaks every couple of months with pails strewn all over. Lockers are also not maintained. I was locked out of my own locker recently because the locks ran out of battery

Being at pure for about 6 months now, I lost so much weight and had a total body transformation thanks to personal trainer Joshua Tay. I went from not being able to bench the bar then months later was able to bench 70kg and was able to do my first pull up. I also fell in love with boxing through coach Hadri guidance, which helped boost my confidence a lot. To recover throughout all the training I had stretching sessions with Wen Hao and had significant improved my lower back pain. I would definitely recommend others 👍

Horrible experience. Don’t be foolish to be a member. Shower is so dirty with full of drain flies, and closing outlets with sudden notice so I was worried that they are bankrupting. Now I am contact them 100 times to terminate membership but no reply/ no answer, although i submitted termination form online. Receptionists are all useless and helpless. They will treat you like a king only when you become a member.

Gym no longer takes payments with Amex. On top of that, the gym is more and more packed and service keeps getting worse. They have closed a few outlets and no improvement with existing ones. Competitor gyms have better facilities, equipment, multiple locations, service and on top of everything treat customers better. Real shame...

Receptionist Fang Jun is exceptionally cheerful, friendly and helpful. Always greet with a smile & attentive to members’ enquiries. Someone who’s a rare gem in the club and approachable yet holding to rules n regulations. My all time fave receptionist. Great job!

The people, PT, staff and receptionist were all friendly and helpful, especially the front desk - Fang Jun. Gym space was huge, love the pantry space its very cozy.

Great gym, but oh my god it's painful to get there! Slowest, worst lifts in town and no stair option provided. Be prepared for an extra 5 minute wait both directions.

Their personal trainer has little sense of personal space, so when you workout, they will just barge in 50 cm from you, and think you’re okay.

With badly maintained equipment and price increases, you can no longer pass this off as a "premium" gym. Furthermore, their NAC outlet has become much more crowded during after-work hours due to the recent SC outlet closure. Like what another reviewer mentioned, the recent and sudden closure of their SC outlet makes it feel like this gym's facing some financial troubles.

People who come to the gym are trying to be healthy. Not sure why there is artificial fragrance used at the gym. Don’t want to grasp for fragranced air while working out. Should at least open at 7am on Sundays.

It’s the best gym I’ve tried in Singapore in terms of range of equipment and cleanliness of facilities. But gym etiquette here is abysmal. People sit on benches and apparatus staring at their phones and take forever between sets. I guess that is everywhere these days but at the price of membership here it is extra annoying. If not for these people, it would be gym paradise.

It's on the top floor, and the high ceilings make the space look nice and open. Wide array of gym equipment, team of great personal trainers, various types of fitness and yoga classes. They have corporate plans as well, so might be worth looking into those in case your company has a tie up with them already.

It’s a fantastic gym. Close to perfect. It’s very spacious with a high ceiling and well designed layout. There are different zones on cardio, weight, gymnastics and multi-function (open area). Can tell people training there are mostly serious about fitness. Equipment is professional. Vibe is warm. Shout out to Irfan, the client relationship manager, for his professionalism and great help. He’s very friendly and responsive to my queries.

Great Gym for those in the orchard area. It's big, open planned and has a lot of equipment for all to use. Classes are plentiful and engaging, spin especially is good. Also - only need to take your trainers as gym clothes are all provided!

I’ve been a member with Pure for ~1 year and I love the friendliness of the staffs. The salesperson who navigated me to Pure resigned not long after I joined. Just when I thought I wouldn’t get the support I needed, Kai from the front desk redirected me to Marvin who then helped me out a lot! It was neither Kai and Marvin’s responsibility to help, but they took an extra step to help out, which I’m very grateful for. And for that, I think Pure deserves a 5 star.

Fang Juan is a very friendly person in NAC always welcoming to the gym members like us and like to meet new members to chat with us. He is a very hardworking guys whom I know in this gym. The NAC has changed back the timing till old days closing at midnight 🕛. It very good and convenient for working adults like us. Hopefully they will continue this way. Do improve the facilities especially the male bathroom, is getting bad. Hope to see more improvement in the coming months after closing two gyms this year (2023).

Cancelled my membership without telling me. Said my original package was not available anymore. Forced me to rejoin at a higher price and pay a joining fee. Total joke of a way to treat customers of 8 years. The gym is already very crowded because they closed two outlets, and now I see why they treat their members so bad.

Update, sauna mostly faulty and under maintenance. Works only half of the time. Pleasant atmosphere, but lacking of maintenance.. some of the equipment is old, some of the showers have mould. Plenty of personal trainers that pay 0 attention unless you hire them.. Overall good value gym

The gym is absolutely perfect. Clean facilities, great staff and amenities and location is within the area of Orchard.

As a visitor to SG, needed to find a place nearby to get a workout in after a long work week. Really clean environment and modern machines. Ended up trialing a membership here. Think it’s really the equinox of the area for sure. Top notch experience to lose yourself in your routine. So if you’re on the fence, just go there.

My first ever visit to a gym and I must say I was very impressed. A very cozy place. Nice ambience. I was greeted very professionally at the reception. The service rendered by Reuben was extremely professional and he was very helpful. Personal trainer Agnes was very patient and professional in explaining to me the various equipment in the gym.

Paradise for serious lifters, whether powerlifter or bodybuilder. Amazing staff, super friendly and informative.

Reuben and the front desk staff are fantastic. Gym is very busy during peak times, but almost empty the rest of the day. Trainers are knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

The biggest gym I have ever visited. Everything brand new. Amazing customer service and a unique experience to have everything provided to me. A wide selection of equipment and free weights. I'm new to Singapore and while I was working out I felt at home here for the first time.

The expansive area seems to motivate you to exercise more. Facilities reasonably maintained. Haven’t tried the classes thus far.

Spacious gym with sauna and steam facility. I like the cleanliness the most, especially during this pandemic or endemic periods. For the classes, there are many choices. It’s easily book via app. Even with variety of machines, the most importantly, there’s a place for stretching and yoga.

It's my first year as a member with PURE Fitness, and I absolutely love the aesthetic of the gym. With a variety of well maintained equipments, and a spacious turf space to the different fitness classes, it addresses my different fitness goals. Workout clothes are also provided, convenient for people who dislike carrying a lot of things around. Overall, the gym gives off a chill, and soothing ambience.

Awesome equipment. Great thoughtful staff, personal trainers, comfortable beautiful environment from the first time step back in 2015 till now. Most importantly I drop 3 dress size since joining Pure fitness..💪🏽💪🏽💕💕

Reuben from Pure fitness NAC talked down about my boyfriend by saying: “lol sorry Claudia..jus to check….will he really be able to afford two memberships for a year?” if we can’t afford it why would we even be here really… What he said was very offensive to the ears and pushed us to make the decision not to sign at Pure NAC. After I blocked him on WhatsApp, Reuben still had the audacity to call me with another number to ask if I was signing with him. Rocks for brains really. Please train your sales associates to have better EQ. Edit: pls don’t contact me. Pure fitness in itself just disgusts me now. No point contacting me because I won’t be signing with Pure. Either train your staff better or fire your staff.

Thanks to Aunty Jasmine again the nice and warm hospitality of the front counter was greeted by the friendly quite short lady counter staff! Thanks to the last minute for both my Godbrother and me who walk in super last minute to book for Ying Yang Yoga at 8pm class that Thursday night! Thanks to all PURE counter Yoga n fitness staff who are patience and really kind hearted to attend to my needs when is really last min! Thanks to Tyas who were the person I get to WA and always replying to my msg on the info of diff classes and thou we did not get the chance to meet up as he's off days but he did let me to get thru his colleague if he was not around! Thanks to u all for that one day experience I had to attend Yoga with my Godbrother who just is member with PURE Maybe the only complaint was the locker room quite few of it were faulty could it be ok to repair? The showering area were quite crampy only 2 of it were much wider space or else was good time at PURE! Thanks again and Kudos! Keep it up services and for any promo will keep a lookout!

Been attending classes and self practice at Pure and I would say Pure still beats other places. Even after working the night shift, I still go for workouts at Pure because I always feel welcomed and rejuvenated no matter how tired I am. There's no other place like this. Definitely my second home!

I shill this gym to 3 friends and they all love it! Spacious, clean, and relatively not crowded. There are many classes to try out on top of open gym, some classes can be challenging. Good that they change up the classes every few months so you never get bored of it. I also love the lounge, can get snacks & drinks to do work there, super chill.

Poor customer service. When we have a problem and take the time to send an email, they don't even bother to reply, even when you're chasing them. They also allocate their best coaches to paying activities and the membership is more and more bad value for money.

Good, experienced teachers with wide selection of class types. Attended Chair Yoga with Dagge last Saturday morning and totally enjoyed it. Sequence was creative, fun and well planned. Dagge is professional, caring and sweet. Will attend again ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Big space to workout at.never feels claustrophobic. Clean facilities and attentive staff at desk. Awesome instructors as well.

Hi I'm Troy, a member of pure fitness Singapore for a number of years now, and today was my first trail class with Matthias. The session conducted was above my expectations! Before we had even met Matthias had asked pointed questions to ensure my safety and to cater to my needs. Some of the positive points that stood out to me durinf the session were these: - Assessment before prescribing. - Clear & succinct instructions. - Able to sufficiently explain the reason for prescription, drawing experience from his powerlifting & PT career. - Felt like he cared. - Post class he had also taught me to stretch. That is more then expected of a PT ( top class service ). Overall I would say that he had elevated the premium feel of Pure fitness, showing world class service.

Love this gym, great facilities, toilet is clean and many class options available. Instructors are nice - Ayu, Ryan, just to name a few. Fang Jun from front desk is also very helpful in resolving my enquiries.
