Full disclosure - only had coffee, did not have any food. With the name of this restaurant / cafe / joint being Oriole Coffee + Bar, we came into Oriole with high expectations of freshly brewed coffee and fragrant beans. We ordered a latte and iced black and this was presented to us. A glass of tasteless iced black coffee (as ascertained by the lightness of the glass) and a beautiful cup of latte - With a heart? Bunny ears? Who knows what the artist was trying to portray? The latte, similarly, was a cup of disappointment with the milk so under-steamed we could hear it oozing out of the cow's udders. In all fairness the food on other tables seemed properly presented and it is a fairly convenient restaurant right outside Somerset. Come at your own risk.

A great people watching, coffee drinking, snack eating location along the covered, but outdoor walk way entry path into 313@somerset. Friendly servers are attentive, but also allow you to enjoy the food and view. I tried their Indonesian bean pour over black coffee, with notes of chocolate and berries. Served in a carafe, it allowed you to drink small amounts while the remainder stayed warm. I paired it with the sticky date pudding. I have not tried this dish before, I was picturing a deep bread pudding with sweet medjool dates. Was pleasantly surprised by a refined and moist pudding that looked a bit like a sponge cake texture when you cut into it with a smooth date flavor. Berries and vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce created a palate of flavors.

One of my favorite cafe in long time❤️ we usually have coffee here or just a quick takeaway. This was a rare occasion where we have our dinner at the place. The food served quickly, very happy tummy! The burger was tender and juicy, the green veggies was lightly seasoned with salad dressing. The chili crab linguine was surprisingly good at a few first bites, full sweet & sour flavors, topped with lots of crab meat. However towards the end, I can’t finish the dish, seasoning was rich so it builds up the taste and become more salty than one could handle 🥲 Thus, recommend this pasta to share.

Good place to have drinks, great happy hour. The food is okay, burger need more seasoning on the meat. A bit lacking when we try OMG and truffle burger. Truffle fries and HJK chicken wing are good. Pizza is decent. The pasta is good, can try this. Skip the sweet potato fries, a bit soggy. Wanted to charge water initially and the water was taken back. However, they did send back 3 small glasses of water, good call.

Great ambience with good music. Pretty good recommendations from houson and great service from his crew. Had a smoked salmon pizza and a sweet soy pork ribs. Initially wanted to have a additional truffle fries but houson recommended us to change the sweet potato fries to truffle fries, as he notice it was just 2 of us and afraid we can't finish the food.

The cafe is part of hotel with separate entrance from mall. Very nice brunch spot. Ordered fish taco and baked egg. Baked egg is petty good because I love chorizo. But fish taco is slightly disappointing. Too much batter and lack of citric flavor Their dessert menu is also limited. Thrifts, tried their tasting coffee set. MAD milk is naturally sweet from date, interesting idea.

Food was really yummy, one of the nicer cafe/western foods around! We got the spicy calamari, pork ribs, fish and chips, mushroom soup. Highly recommend each of them! Chill ambience with nice music. Want to give a special shout-out to our server, Chloe, who was super kind and attentive throughout our dinner, which made all the difference :) thank you Chloe! For making our birthday dinner a very pleasant one with your thoughtfulness and friendliness :)

Visited for coffee and desserts because we heard the coffee was good. But wasn’t great for me, the coffee tasted bland and diluted. The sticky date pudding was tiny for $13. Service was not bad but waited really long before someone came over to take our orders. A little bummer the experience wasn’t great. The place is pretty though.

Overall okay. This place is located just outside of the entrance to 313 opposite prive bar. A nice place to enjoy coffee and have a pasta or a brunch Food and coffee overall was okay, not the greatest I’ve had but also not bad. Coffee could have been strong We sat outside so it’s a nice spot to watch people walk past, but I think on a hotter day it can get a bit uncomfortable , thankfully today was fine

Food standard is great here 👍 We ordered ceaser salad , crab spaghetti and aquapazza. Spaghetti and aquapazza are delicious. We visited here for brunch around 11am for 2 pax walk-in. There were few people inside. I requested bigger table as I got a lot of stuffs on my hand and not much customer inside, but a lady staff looks obviously not happy that I requested that. We left restaurant around 1pm, but restaurant has not packed during our brunch. I am not sure why the lady was so unwillingly give us a bigger seat. Overall, although the price is not reasonable, it’s still good restaurant in terms the quality of the foods and the atmosphere.

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and Jazzy assisted us. My aunt had a bad back and requested for sofa seat. Because most of the sofa seats were taken due to reservations, Jazzy mentioned she would try her best. After awhile, she came over and mentioned that the seat was available as they managed to get a sofa seat for us. Jazzy was very helpful throughout and her willingness shined through We ordered the Sweet Soy Pork Ribs which was rather tender and the Smoked Salmon Waffles which was good. Overall a great experience and special shout out to Jazzy who was helpful, patient and an asset to the service industry :)

Came on a relatively quiet weekend evening to refuel after a busy day at Orchard Road, and we were not disappointed. Ended up really full after dinner. Came for the snapper fish and chips. Nicely fried batter with a hint of herbs, and soft moist fish inside. Also tried the spicy sweet soy wings which was unexpectedly good - good enough to rival some Korean fried chicken stores! Well marinated, tender chicken that was crispy outside, and dripping with soy sauce with just a hint of spice. 😋

Good Food ! Love the Soy Pork Ribs and Crab Capellini especially! I like the King Prawn with crusty sour dough too! Lotsa garlic - yum ! My children wants to come again! - do sign up for Triple + membership for 1 for 1 (some of the menu: / above mentioned are inclusive)

First thing to highlight, the service here is always excellent, their staffs are very friendly, observant, and accommodating to guests. They definitely know how to serve attentively, in a way that will make you feel like you are the only customer there. I like how they offer many options for vegetarians. Check with staff when ordering to see if certain menu can also be modified to be veg. Once I was in quarantine due to covid, I was bored and craving for their food so I ordered online. The order arrived very quickly and food was still hot as if I ordered dine-in. Big thanks to the chefs in charge (chef William and chef Elroy), who gave me generous portion of truffle fries and cooked my pizza to perfection. It was absolutely delicious, the best quarantine food I had. Special thanks to their staff, Jeffrey, who took the time to write a Get Well Soon note on my can of coke. He was very thoughtful, and it gives you deep impression that their service is maintained to be excellent towards dine-in guests and takeaway customers. Really appreciate managers Jey and Kelvin who've done an amazing job managing their staff to ensure only the best service delivered to their customers.

Went for late lunch . Ordered the fried chicken and waffle , and a glass of red wine . Total bill was $42 and rather expensive if you ask me . Waffle was rather sweet Best part was the fried chicken chop coated in prawn paste . Tasty .

Was a hot Sunday evening, so we pop by here for happy hour beers & pizza 🍕. Draft Beer at $13 a pint is a good deal in the Orchard area. Love the 7 cheese pizza that goes so very well with our beers. Service was good & friendly.

This is one of my favourite cafes I like to visit around Orchard vicinity. It is a nice spot to chill in the afternoon. However, price wise is a little on the higher side. I have been here a couple of times, mainly for coffee and desserts. For today, one thing that can be improve is the UX of the self-ordering app. Especially on the coffee section, it can reflect the number of espresso shots in the details, and include an option to add additional shots for all types of coffee, instead of placing at the very end of the order menu. All these would have caused less confusion for the patron. For the amount paid, I expected at least 2 espresso shots in the coffee. However, I have ordered a vanilla latte which happened to be very sweet and had only 1 espresso shot. I like to thank the staff for assisting in the exchange for an alternative beverage. Also, the cake is a little expensive given the serving. All in all, I will still give it 4 stars. 1 more star for improvements to be worked on. Overall, it is still a positive experience!

This is an outlet I visited before with the missus and today I decided to invade Oriole with the 3 monkeys !!! The girls loved the overall decoration, they claimed it’s cozy and homely haha. Anyway, all the dishes were ordered by them and they sang super high praises for “whatever-they-ordered” (laughs). They loved the silky and smooth mushroom soup; THEY LOVED THE CHICKEN WINGS !!! They basically loved everything hahaha. We will be back for more Oriole, many thanks for hosting us well, till then !!!

Friendly and attentive staff. Food is good, especially the mac and cheese ( when my friend recommended it, all of us were skeptical. However, we agreed it's really delicious after trying it! ) Sticky date pudding is good as mentioned by other reviewers.

Celebrates Mother day with my family at oriole this evening. Awesome services and great foods. A must to try on snapper pie and 7 cheese pizza. Recommend to book a reservation thru chope in case its turned up full house esp weekend. Also sign up their tripleplus, 1 for 1 main and birthday special discounts. Worth to the max. Its can be utilise in any of their whole group of chain restaurants and cafes.

Great brunch experience. Nice menu selection, can’t wait to go back and try the other food/coffee items. Customer service was excellent, staff were friendly and enthusiastic. We never felt rushed even though the place was packed and there was a bit of a queue. Ended up having a great catch-up with old friends, thanks to the nice food, pleasant atmosphere and great staff. Had the chilli crab linguine and pork ribs. Highly recommend the pasta! Spicy and sweet with generous portion of crab, pasta perfectly cooked. Pork ribs was soft, sweet potato fries crispy. Hopefully the pasta becomes a main menu item. Service was very quick and staff were polite and friendly.

Regular customer here. Always came here for fish taco, banana cake and little mermaid drink! Jey has been serving us ever since we came and become friends. He always recommends us new ans nice food! Appreciated his enthusiasm in service. Kudos!

Place was chill, service was good. We had the chicken and waffles, and the salmon and avocado on waffles. The waffles were much too sweet and we ended up not eating that part of the meal. Coffee was average.

Another one of my The Entertainer tryouts. Loved that they had a good number of options for the 1-for1 deal (everything under "Mains'). Went for the Sweet Soy Pork Rib and they were fall off the bone delicious. Loved that they were served with sweet potato fries too, added to the sweetness of the soy glaze. Also ordered the spicy calamari to try and the pickled chili pepper that it was served with had some kick to it. Overall definitely enjoyed and will return!

Had brunch with kids on Saturday. The pork ribs impressed me and my hubby with their unique chili sauce, tasted like Hainanese chicken rice chili sauce, but richer sour taste. The truffle burger was delicious with medium done patty. The full-loading breakfast portion was good enough for me and my young kid. Recommended the ondeh-ondeh lava cake, served with vanilla ice cream with perfect ending.

We visited Oriole Somerset at around 1pm, we are served by Kelvin and he really assisted us , as this is our first time to dine in here and we really enjoyed the food that we ordered , the service was fast even it was crowded. Additional Izran if Im not wrong on his nametag was very Bubbly that brings the nice vibes inside the restaurant he really showed joyful on what he is doing very natural and we are felt very welcome while we enjoying the good food! Kudos to the Barramundi fish very tasteful and the crispy skin with garlic and carmelized ginger? Compliments it’s flavour. Surely will come back again and will recommend to our friends! 👍😊

Quiet Sunday early dinner at Oriole. Place was rather empty and food came very quickly. The fish & chips was pretty sizable and there was no fishy smell. However, the batter wasn't crispy. I much prefer crispy batter if I'm gonna add on those calories. The waffle with chicken was good. Waffle is on the heavy side and comes topped with bacon bits. My dinning partner liked the dish but would rather have the bacon on the side. Overall a good meal!

Nice place for afternoon lunch. Service is very good. I ordered chamomile tea but it tasted like lemongrass. Service staff offered to change but ok with it (don’t waste food)

The exceptional display of integrity and honesty exhibited by this individual deserves recognition and serves as a testament to the high standards of service and ethical values upheld. Food was good as well!

This place is famous for coffee and fish & chips. Saw something new on the menu, lobster roll. Had to try! Portion was good size and we were ambitious and over ordered. Ended up had to pack the chicken wings home. The lobster was pretty succulent, definitely enjoyable. I will always come back for coffee, tried the Death Cream this time. Didn't disappoint at all. Definitely enjoyed the meal.

Came for lunch and had a the all day special meat feast which was a good portion and delicious! Comes with complimentary wine which was a nice touch. Jay and his crew were all friendly and attentive. Thanks for the meal!

Generally all food tastes good and aroma is also very enticing. Enjoyed the meal and will come back for more in the future. Service staff are also friendly and helpful. Very pleasant dining experience.

This coffee + bar has a relax vibe. Visited noon time during weekdays and place had a few tables occupied but quiet to dine in. Set lunch was available and pricing was reasonable given its town location. Alcoholic beverages and coffee/tea options as well at their bar. Foodfare was not bad the chilli crab pizza was fluffy soft and pork ribs was fork tendered. A cafe/bar worth swinging by if one is in the vinicity!

Haven’t been here in a long while, and happy to find that food is still good! Love that the fries still remain crispy even after we took our time to finish the mains. Also value for money if you get Triple Plus membership! About $30 for fish tacos + burger!

Honestly? This steak was so tender, savoury with a hint of sweetness from the sauce. So SOFT. Even the lettuce was extremely delicious. Fat & juicy prawns my favourite. [$26] 🍟 TRUFFLE FRIES Nothing special, might be personal preference but I had better elsewhere. Read from earlier reviews that service is good but there’s nothing about service since everything is via QR code. Was told to find menu and order thru QR code. But I saw that if is foreigners, paper menus was handed out to them. Foods taste average. For the price of $60 plus for a salad, main and drinks, can have it at other better places.

Very pleasant dining experience with Amirul and Jey who took great care to ensure our food was satisfactory. Loved the avocado basil toast and poached egg. I could have easily eaten two servings if I had the time.

Service was excellent! Staff were attentive and fast response eventhough we sat outdoors. Though still not enough fans. Food was great! Fast delivery but still hot and yummy! Always a Great place to have a hangout and chill..

Actually it’s a meal between lunch and dinner 😅 My friend and I ordered these and both think the food is ok here. Not very delicate but the scrambled egg and chicken cheese sausage are delicious. But the sausage is bit salty. I ordered the smoked salmon and egg Benedict which I think is good. It’s really chill talking with friends and have some drinks in the raining day. Love it 🥰

We had sweet soy pork ribs and chilli crab linguini. Personally like the pork ribs as its easily separated from the bones and well marinated. The linguini could be less flavourful as it feels heavy after a while, nevertheless the taste is good too 👍🏻 Syed gave us an interesting experience at Oriole! Good service too 👍🏻

A very nice place to chill and relax. Staff very very super friendly and remember you eventho you came there once before. So now was my second time coming here. Still best place to come. One of the best burgers I've had in Singapore. Everything from food to the service was excellent and I was very impressed. Will definitely come back here when I am in Singapore again. Shout out to chef Roy for the delicious food and Jazzy for the amazing service.
