The best cappuccino I've had in Singapore so far! The barista was very skilled and made me made a delicious cappuccino. Perfect amount of foam, temperature and tastyness! They have vegan 'milks' available. The place has a great vibe inside. There's inside and outside seating. The staff was very friendly. I didn't eat anything but from what I saw it looks good too.

Did a spot of shopping for locally roasted coffee and was an interesting experience. Extensive selection of beans, in my opinion.

One of the popular coffee roaster in Singapore, they have so many options for coffee beans. They also sell some coffee equipment. Actually their place is on the 2nd floor of CSHH, and you can try their coffee at the coffee shop on the 1st floor.

I especially like the hardware-store-turned-cafe concept with black/white/wood colour combination. The indoor bar/counter tabletop and outdoor long wooden table are interesting areas to chill. I super like the blue hair barista who looks super professional. They do have a few choices of beans, a wide range of drinks selection from coffee, tea to even beer. Many lovely cakes to choose from. Hot dishes tasted better than it looks. Prices on the whole is slightly higher than average cafes but their coffee is definitely of a good standard. You can also grab some coffee products from their tiny shop at the back as gifts too!

I was trying to find this coffees hop. After they close the one in bukit timah. This one is amazing.... The food choice just great for brunch or dinner.... They change their name though to hye sheng huat hardware or things like that. They have the bar and you can try their beer at night too

I know this is a coffee shop but I really liked their Indian spiced roasted cauliflower. As for coffee, I tried the Githongo which is their brightest coffee and I liked the first sip but not the finish. For me it’s too dark. I prefer a lighter finish.

Had a pleasant experience even though I didn't get any coffee. They were kind to share with me equipments on making filter, and the different variety. Check out their website for online purchase for sure! Edit: Some of the equipment sold on the website is out of stock, and there is no information when they will be back. It's a little annoying to keep checking back so please update your website!

This establishment is easily the most snobbish if have ever been to in my life. They serve decent coffee here, but they have managed to convince their wait staff that they are angels sent down from heaven to show their customers what coffee is and they act like it. If pretentiousness does not bother you, this place is great. But watch out, don't ask for anything that is not on their menu, lest you get shot a dirty look by the staff telling you, 'we don't do coffee like that here'

Coffee was ok and slightly strong With the rest I was pretty dissapointed. The charred cauliflower was bland and cold, I'd rather have raw cauliflower instead esp steeply priced at $15++! The indoor ambience is nice, but there are hardly any seats to sit, and esp for groups of 4+ pax it's impossible. The outdoor space is rusty and torn down. They can defy work on the outdoor ambience.

Being the retail arm of the Chye Seng Huat Hardware business, it is really fascinating to observe how business is being done. They carry beans, accessories and machines here in this store. No where close to a Nespresso experience just yet, but it's very grungy the way CSHH was set up to be. I'm not entirely sure about the value for money vs the markup they have on the products, but at the very least, I do know that the Papa Palheta beans are amazingly roasted beans for daily consumption needs.

On what earth would someone say this is the best cappuccino he ever had in Singapore? Ordered Cappuccino with high expectation. You pay $7 for this and lemme tell ya, it’s NOT Good. Had it enough with these reviews that keep disappointing people.

It used to be good here but now the service got weird. Whenever I come in I am outnumbered 3:1 by sales staff all hanging out around the till and it makes for a very forced and awkward experience. The guy standing by the door aggressively saying “hello” to everyone that walks in is just…. Offputting… also they have a fan going really hard outside the door so if you did your hair it will destroy your hair as you walk in the door… nice The owner should go to a Starbucks and see how it’s done - just go to till order and sit down it’s not so complicated. Why charge 10% service charge but customer has to do all the work of ordering on an app?? Bad deal.

Few power outlets, and noise, but it has AC and is workable. Also have decaffeinated coffee. Expensive overall, and the order process though the qr code is too complicated. At the peak times the staff is definitely stressed, customer service is then lacking a bit. Maybe hire one more?

Often crowded during weekends. They are one of the few coffee roasters in Singapore that offers specialty coffee. Thus, they offer great coffees from around the world. They are certified cupper and Q Graders so they really know what great coffee is all about. They also offer roasting tour and public cuppings here. The food and drinks they offer in their cafe are pricey though and nothing exceptional with the taste.

A great cafe that has everything! Good line up of specialty coffee, great food, vast selection of coffee equipment/products in their shop and classes they offer from cupping to behind the scenes in roasting and Barista knowledge and awesome staff. They also offer craft beer I believe every weekend. Check this place out if you get a chance!

The best part of my experience at Chye Seng Huat was my visit to The Annex. After you're done with your coffee and food, definitely loop around to the back of the building and visit. You can sample the beans on sale there as the staff prepares pour overs with them, they are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about coffee too! Lovely experience.

Love their beans. There's something about their roasting profile that is so well balanced that I keep coming back to them regardless of how many other beans I've tried in sg. Maybe it's just a personal preference but Nuts n Bolts is my daily driver. Anytime of the day.

Went there to buy merchandise. The guy at merchandise section was helpful and co-operative.But what disappointed me was , the staff at bar section (lady server ). She sounds rude and have zero customer service. Zero star to customer service.I would have stayed there more and try more but the service made me leave in just few minutes. I went there walking 20 minutes from my hotel but had to regret visiting there.

Located in Chye Seng Huat Hardware. Their coffee is one of the best in singapore. They serve manual brew, espresso based, and even nitro coffee. They serve foods as well. They sell roasted beans, coffee brewing tools, and espresso machines also. Their outdoor space is really nice for hangout with friends. There’s a bar that sell beers also

If you’re looking for a place that does specialty coffee, look no further. Friendly and knowledgeable baristas, two choices for espresso, and a great array of filters. There are also plenty of other coffee drinks like cold brew, cascara, and nitro coffee. The food menu had heaps of enticing options for breakfast or lunch. I went with the Muesli and it was absolutely delicious!

Went to buy a bag of coffee beans on a Thursday afternoon and they were closed. Not very happy to go all the way just to go back empty handed. But on days that they are open, they do have good coffee beans.

Novelty cafe - I couldn’t believe my ears when I asked if they had decaff coffee, and the member of staff informed me the only decaff beverage they have is some fruit/herbal tea - I’m pretty sure any average coffee/tea consumer would know that and didn’t need to be told this was the decaff option. I had accidentally left my phone at the counter, the cafe had less than 15 people, the member of staff who was at the counter simply kept my phone on the side for me instead of informing me I had left my phone Tried the snacks and beverage - it’s an average, go somewhere else if you can
