This is one awesome place within this Potong Pasir estate to have good authentic nostalgic great breakfast meals here. Skip those franchises coffeeshop and breakfast cafes, because here is one place that you will be back for more ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Starting from the Wanton mee, they have been here for many years. Judging from the number of people queuing and buying, it is a great tasting plate of wantom mee. This lady has perfected her cooking of noodles and made her wanton awesome๐Ÿ˜. Drizzle in the black sauce, add some chilli or ketchup if you want or green chilli. I have this wanton mee every now and then. Worth to come back and have it again. Uncle Sim stall is one that you must try. His Mee Siam, Mee Rebus and and Longtong is one of the best. Having being on some food vareity programmes and recommended by other food reviewers, his food is definitely worth to try. The Prata shop is also another stall been here a number of years. When you see the guy flip the dough effortlessly, pan fry the prata and present you a hot, crispy plate of prata with either fish or dhal curry, I would buy them in an instance! For prata lovers, this is a must go place! Feel free to ask him to have your prata more crispy if you want. Next to the Prata stall would be the Malay Food. Don't underestimate this makcik behind the shop. Although she seems to be a one woman show, she makes great sambal chilli, cooks an aromatic nasi lemak, fry the items malay style and to me, her mee Goreng are nice! She also sells kueh and the all time favourite curry puffs. Those potato or sardine curry puffs, crispy on the edges, hot and fresh on the inside. The vegetarian stall is new but these folks has been in this estate for quite long. Due to rent increase at the previous premises, they moved here. Everything you see here at their stall are personally cooked by them. The classic Vegetarian breakfast set is one that stands out. Generous portion of either beehoon, kwayteow or noodles, mock Charsiew, stir fry cabbage, mock goose, and crispy zai-er! Add on other items if you need. Taste is nostalgic and nice! Next to the vegetarian stall is this ever popular and forever popular, economical bee hoon. If you are a heavy breakfast person, this is one of the stall that you should aim. Start off with a choice of bee hoon, Kway teow or noodles, go free on their extensive sides to add into your carb base. From fried chicken wings, fish fillet, luncheon meat, tofu or Taiwan Sausage, sunny side up eggs and more! I love their fried chicken cutlet. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Sometimes I got carried away and added 5 items. Sinful meal but we all love this kind of food. Save this place for your next breakfast meal. I guarantee you will be spilt for choice and be confused by the vareity of food offered here. Be early, beacuse especially weekend, the tables are full house.

This place is a hidden gem! A small coffee shop with lots of variety. Love the fish soup, top up fish slices, only cost $5.50. I drank the soup till last drop. Must try! Try the fried carrot cakes both black and white are really tasty. The cakes is soft. Must try! Tried the Mee Siam fro Uncle Sim, I find it a bit too sweet. The gado gado not liking because of strong curry flavor. Heard that the Vegetarian Bee Hoon and Economical Rice are affordable and good too!

Located at Potong Pasir within Jin Biao coffee shop is Man Man Mala Xiang Guo. What is special here is that they have eggs when they fry is like char kway teow eggs into your mala as well as fried potato and youtiao! They will fry the youtiao till it is crispy and it soaks in all the goodness of the Mala pot. The spicy level here is low. The zhong la is like xiao la. It is more la (spicy) than ma (numbing). Very shiok! Must try when you are in the area. There are 2 Jin Biao coffee shop, this is the one behind the playground and it doesn't have a zhichar stall.

The vegetarian beehoon is really good $3 for a hearty plate with three standard ingredients - curry veg, char siew and crispy beancurd skin. White beehoon is fried with mushroom slices, and curry has potatoes, not so common for other veg stalls.

Many nice foods in this coffee shop and prices are very reasonable. Must try. I learned about this place from the local old folks. Special highlight the vegetarian stall, because is hard to find one around this area.

Tried the Tong Luo Wan stall which sells different charcoal roast meat stall. The Dang Gui Roast Duck has a nice herbal flavour to it, but not too over powering. Not bad ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Cheap and good food located right in the heartlands, though the variety here is slightly limited due to the size. Tried the wanton noodle and mixed veg stall. Great for quick takeaways.

Humble coffeeshop in this rather old estates area. Tried: Uncle SIM, lontong, Wantan mee, Roast stall, economic mixed rice. They are pretty decent in taste. Mixed rice have variety of dish to choice from. 06june2022- tried the wantan mee. Suit my taste buds for the add on chicken feet, soft and melt in the mouth.

Ordered the mee rebus from Uncle Sim. The portion of noodles is small but gives a full egg at a reasonable price of $3.50. Unfortunately, thereโ€™s a taste in the mee rebus sauce which I donโ€™t quite like. The coffee here costs $1.40. The taste of kopi gao isnโ€™t that strong. Hopefully they can improve it.

Food here is very affordable. Mee rebus comes in several sizes and is very artfully arranged. Econ rice has loads of variety. Sambal Kang kong is quite special and the chilli used is different from many other more shrimp based and pungent ones! It wasnโ€™t very oily as well which is great! Would love to try the other stuff like Pu Tien dishes or hokkien noodle :)

Yang Sen has good carrot cake, lala and lotus pork rib soup. The kopitiam needs better hygiene, birds haunt the tray return shelves.

Grew up with this coffeeshop, plenty of decent affordable food options. While the prices here do inevitably go up, theyโ€™re still considerably cheaper than most other food courts, and can really help save food expenses. The caifan, beehoon and mee rubus stalls are the long-standing crowd favourites. Definitely recommend ordering from them.

Economic rice here is the best in neighbourhood, tasty and reasonably priced Economic bee hoon prices depends on the auntie's mood, very inconsistent price and taste. Vegetarian food, I had a few bad encounters after eating so I don't recommend. The roast pork stall is good too Muslim staff auntie was in the news in 2021 I believe, her food is very reasonably priced.

I recently visited a local corner shop known for its delicious porridge. However, I must mention that the young girl who served me had an expression that seemed rather unfriendly, as if there were some unresolved matter between us. Despite the remarkable taste of the porridge, it was unfortunate that the overall experience was slightly dampened by the attitude of the person serving. It is worth noting that good customer service goes hand in hand with excellent food quality. Hopefully, the shop management will take this feedback constructively and work towards improving the customer service aspect.
