The curry chicken is the best I've ever had and I absolutely love the fried bee hoon. The Assam fish is a must-try too! They serve only thigh meat and the fish is also very fresh. Cheap affordable pricing and will definitely keep coming back for more!

The Assam Fish is a must-try must-order for those who love fish dishes. It's absolutely delish, no MSG, with brinjal, okra and cherry tomatoes that's cooked perfectly and served hot! Brought family and friends and they're all addicted! We'll be back!

Simple but small coffee shop located in The Underground walkways after Orchard Gateway, more into modern style seating (has high-chair seats). Standard food selection with moderate cost (a chicken cutlet rice costs $6.00). Could be opened recently, as almost 1 page of mwnu still not available for order.

This place is open! Not permanently closed! Super secluded and only just found this place despite working in orchard for awhile. Had the recommended nonya curry chicken and it came in a claypot. Curry was good chicken could be more tender. But for $6 there was fair amount of meat. For this price range should have more people but guess it's too secluded. The shop is at the underground area linking orchard central/gateway to foot locker.

Only tried their fried mee hoon in the morning and I loved it. If they have more choices to the dishes it will be even better cos i would love to eat it every morning if they've cabbage. They're serving luncheon meat and egg now which i cant have luncheon meat daily. Hopefully they will add in at least 1 veg option! Will try other food for lunch if got chance.

It was my first time trying out The Coffee Xpress. Didn’t expect much. Tried their Assam fish and it was LEGIT GOOD! Such a good curry, One bowl of rice is definitely not enough for me so I went on to get another bowl of rice! I was ready to pay for the rice but they doesn’t want to charge me! Good service! Good food! Recommended! Will definitely come back for more and to try out other foods on their menu!

I rarely write reviews but had to as this place was beyond good! Bought the pork knuckle (best I have had in Singapore) and the Assam Fish (delicious)! Everything was to superb and will be visiting again to try their other dishes.
