Pretty standard breakfast fare with a few options. I enjoyed the toast with tuna and chilli. We got the eggs semi solid which to our western palettes were runny. Note 1) order solid egg I think it comes off better 2) go hard on the white pepper. Coffee above average

3.5 stars. Environment: Very long queue for order and pay on Sunday Morning. Very packed indoor. --- 6.5/10 Service: No service charge. Find a table and line up to order. Self service. Advise to return food tray to the front desk after used. Acceptable waiting time for food. --- 6.3/10 Food: Price ok for quality and good portion. Normal presentation. - Laksa set, $9.1: includes a cake (choose ftom the fridge) and iced Barley Drink 薏米水. Good value. Laksa has 2 prawns (good quality and size), Tofu puffs, fish cakes, bean sprouts, noodles (銀針粉 that's not traditiona), and a half hard boiled egg. Laksa soup was ok. Small Chocolate cake and large size of iced barley drink was just average. --- 7.4/10 - Traditional Kaya Toast set $5.9: standard portion. More butter on toast. 2 Soft boiled eggs. Not bad. --- 7.2/10

The signature breakfast in Singapore. This Toast Box store has the long line every morning, takes 15-20 minutes for waiting. The tradition set is 6sgd with kaya toast, egg & kopi (hot milk coffee)/teh (hot milk tea). I enjoy the food but not satisfied with the rude male staff on kitchen. He throw the dished with loud noise in the kitchen. So next time when you come here, pls remind that this is self service store, you need to order, make payment, bring your drinks to your table. Waiting the device ring, bring the food and clean up when you finish.

Although the Q is long every morning. Kaya toast tastes the best. Also with good service. Warning: please do expect to wait at least 15-20mins every morning around 8-9am everyday. If you're not in a hurry, it's a must try.

One of my go-to quick and convenient comfort food places in Singapore... If only we had something even remotely close enough (in terms of authenticity, quality, never mind price) in New York City!

Quite a nice & cosy place for a quick bite. Food was quite good. I had Ham, egg & cheese (thick) toast. love the strong cheese taste & their tea the most. Thou they didn't have a large menu but will still drop by for a quick bite when I'm there again.

The staff were generally polite but seats can be challenging to get during peak hours. A bit warm because it is half-open concept stall next to the road side.

Good place and delicious food. The coffee tastes good, next to the roadside.

Served local food. I ordered the mee siam and it tasted more like curry noodles as the gravy was thick and the taste was rich. Banana cake was nice.

Love Kaya Toast and Teh Tarik (hot milk tea) here. Great local dishes like Laksa and all assorted cakes. Good vibes. Traditional cafe restored and modernized.

Delicious Laksa and Nasi Lemak. Also got a drink and piece of cake thrown in. Eating at small table on busy street corner, very interesting.

I am a tourist and this was the place i chose to try the kaya toast + nanyang coffee + half cooked eggs breakfast. It was good! i liked the toast more than i thought i would. Would eat again though next time i would skip the eggs bc i dont like runny eggs in general. Also got laksa + teh malaka + swiss roll, which were decent. I especially liked the noodles were short shapes in the laksa --- less chance of splashing! Came here a second time the next day, lined up before the store opened. 5 star experience this time since we got to experience clean tables and it was cooler since the day just started. Ordered a lot of food. So glad we didnt opt for hotel breakfast at andaz across the street!

A true Singaporean favourite. Great place for a cup of coffee and light snacks. The place is situated in Bugis Junction opposite the Bugis Cube, and offers indoor as well as patio seatings. The seatings are for a group of multiple individuals. It is a self service eat-out cum cafe place, wherein you need to collect your own order and head towards the seating area. The coffee are made with traditional utensils and the barista juggles them in front of you while the coffee is made. Try their Cold Coffee.

$6 for 2 soft boil eggs, 1 cup of coffee, and 2 slices of bread. Avoid at all costs.

The staff is not helpful. Brunei dollars is same currency with Singapore dollar but they not accept it. Branch manager claims they only accept $100. I ask to check with management but he claim that he is the manager. I understand it is big value amount therefore I go find all money changer. Because it is early in the morning, I went all but all haven open yet. Toast box is a big chain in Singapore but the staff are lack of infomation to handle foreign customers. They ask me isnt want to cancel my order since I do not have money =.= it is so funny.. hungry and tired~

Located in Bugis Junction but it is facing the road and it has Outdoor seats. Crowded during lunch peak period. Tried its Drumstick Braised Pork Rice Set $12.50. It comes with a slice of cake of your choice and a beverage. Drumstick is fried, chicken drumstick's skin is slightly crisp. After ordered then saw it Bak Kwa Fried Rice will try it during my next visit. Service-wise is good.

Convenience and a simple breakfast. Harley any places open in the mornings so this is a great option for a quick and easy breakfast. Long line moves quickly and the staff are under the pump. Tables were clean and food was good

Service standard in Toast Box varied quite a bit in different outlet. Just witness a usual not polite (personally) reply when a customer asked for some condiments. Side note : half boiled eggs are best eaten with either light or dark soya sauce and pepper. Toast box removed a light soya sauce open a few years ago.

Photos speak louder than voice, no hygiene at All! On the table, All stained left by previous customers wasn’t clean with wet towel properly although staff did collect the cups n plates or trash left behind. I had noticed & witnessed personally by seeing staffs do collecting trashed but never clean table as required although it’s endemic status nowadays. Never n do not recommend to visit here for such services being provided!

The prawn noodles is terrible and pricey. Barely any prawn broth. Soup has more taste of spice and saltiness. Service appears to be good. This one star is solely for the prawn noodles, not the food or place in general.

Today I ordered Mee Goreng but the noodles were cooked a tad too soft, for my liking.

Fast food-service. Good for budget options with decently tasting food. Might wanna let them know if you want low sugary drinks because they add a ton of it.

One of the heartily breakfast I've ever eaten. The food is packed with kind consideration, ensuring the drinks will not spilled (with additional layer covered between the cup and the cover). Like to give my complementary to the staffs @ Bugis Junctions. Thanks for providing the excellence services. :)

I always prefer Toast Box over the other chained coffee houses. Their breakfast selection are more and I like their Malaysia’s style mee siam especially.
