The fish soup here is flavourful and the ingredients are fresh. I usually ordered the slightly more expensive Spanish Mackeral (Batang) fish soup as the meat has less fishy smell and it is sweet with very good texture. You will appreciate it even more when it is dipped with the chili sauce as the two unite into a very potent combination that is unforgettable! Update on 21/11/21: a new owner has taken over this stall and I have yet to try the food

Hidden coffee shop in between HDB block. The coffee is nice there and dinner time the “zhe char” stall is quiet famous among the residents. The western Food stall also worth trying especially the fried chicken wings (3pcs for $4).

Nice with this new renovation. More fans and extended open space. Lots of food choices too. The chicken rice is 24hrs New added info This dessert store is really worth visiting. Pretty good and value for money. I like the Four Seasons very much. You can ask for less sweet.

If you are expecting tasty food then go somewhere else. Nothing fantastic there. Western food stall opened not too long ago, food is hot and crispy now. Can try if you have no other choice

I go there to have lunch sometimes and it's great there. If you get to know their staff, they can be pretty nice and friendly.

The pork noodle stall is a hidden jem. Always order the soup version.

The prata is nice but now minimum order is 2 pieces, the noodle stalls, chicken rice served gd food - eg the hokkien mee and fried chway tiao. Unfortunately the rojak not available every day since demand is low.

Socially Awkward Men The TV's audio is spoilt & disturbing. I have feedback to them ask the boss to fix it more than a month back, still the same. Food choices limited but Good Customer service from all venders

Living here since the beginning Zi char store is the worst in yew tee.. Somehow they survived due to lack of competition Slow inconsistent service, always fulfills big orders first, while u can wait up to 30mins+ for a measly hor fun, which i refuse to even give them a star.. And no i am not biased.. See the other reviews

It is a decent coffee shop. It has a decent range of food options but not that much. There is a Indian store, a western store and the traditional Singaporean store like chicken rice and wanton noodles store. The seating is currently 2 per table as there is no one checking vaccination status. There is not much of a lunch crowd dining in as most are taking away their food instead of dining there. Just an average experience here.

MALA XIANG GUO STALL. The spiciness level is alright but it's TOO SALTY. One time I told the counter staff that I prefer less salty but still came out salty. I have tried few mala stalls but never experienced the saltiness this stall serves. The coffee shop is regularly flocked by people who smoke without regard to the NO SMOKING signs. It inconvenience the diners indeed. The coffeshop management should take a look on this blatant disregard to health hazard.

this is the nearest and most convenient coffee shop for us. the staff is friendly and helpful, selection of food a bit limited with some stalls closed early. healthy food choruses basically not available, coleslaw the only fresh option. prices are still reasonable. good place to meet with my friends.

For most, we have no choice. It's the only coffee shop that's within a 5mins walk. When you're lazy you eat food of only...this quality... 5 stars for being around when I'm starving, -1 star because food is as bland as life.

The zi char stall staff is very rude.. take order halfway, we haven't confirm our order, already key into the system and send our order into the kitchen.. when we saw the price of our dish in the next min and wanted to change our order, they are talking to other customer giving us no time to change our order.. after like 5 mins of talking, i told the staff that I wanted to change our order, she mentioned that our order is already done.. I order 3 different dishes and she say confidently say our order is done and refuse to change.. their food although is hot, confirm not cook after customer order de.. just make hot only.. somemore food is tasteless..

Located at the nook of CCK crescent: Zi char, Mala Xiang Guo, Economic Rice and Bee Hoon, Fish Soup/Noodle, Chai Tow Kue, Bak Chor Mee, Pork Soup, Chicken Rice, Rampage Western, An Nur Indian, Popiah & Rojak. San Lou Hor Fun at Zi Char quite good, Thai Style beancurd and Tauge at Chicken Rice Stall not bad. Popiaj also good.

The wonton mee here is good. The noodle texture is just right. Always have a long queue during weekends and public holidays. The chicken rice is good too. The Indian stall's prata is good. A pity they do not sell murtabak anymore for some reasons unknown. Fish soup is not too bad also. Tzi char stall is average. If you are a fan of teh peng, you should try it as the taste is much better than most drink stalls.

👍 Really enjoyed the cream tea set (2 scones, 1 slice of marble butter cake and a sandwich with a pot of tea)! The scones were soft and nice.
