I came to know about this place many years ago and the food was fantastic. This time round, it still is. The grass fed burger and fries were well executed. The fries are cut from a potato. The beef was moist and tender. The coffee bean was robust and strong. I also had apple crumble pie which was very organic in flavor. However what put me off, was the attitude of some of the staff. It must be the way we dressed as compared to the other patrons. I asked for a table of 4 and was asked to wait outside. However we were not ushered in even though there was a table available. And when we went in again, there was silence till I asked the staff on the situation. Almost waited for an hour in this fashion. Wont be coming back for a while.

Used to patronise them because food and drinks are decent and walk ins are accepted. The 1 star is basically for how discriminatory their service is now. Just because I happen to be a solo diner means I’m not entitled to a seat? I get that with safe management measures, seating is limited. But to prioritise a couple behind me instead of a solo diner because maybe their business is perhaps worth more than mine? Sorry, I’ll take my business elsewhere and not patronise your establishment any further.

terrible service, waited for my avocado/egg/toast (brunch) for 30 minutes to be prepared. came wrong, returned to fix, received again in a wrong way, paid and left. never visit again :/

Decent food, great for a quick munch or meet-ups over coffee. Menu is concise, dessert is good. Ambience is calming and boasts a rustic feel. It's a nice place in a convenient location. Would recommend any of the mains, Lobster Mac & Cheese, and desserts.

I visited The Providore on 23 Dec at about 7pm with some expectations of having at least an enjoyable meal. It was hard to get the waiters' attention and I was served an extremely well done burger. When approached for service recovery, the waiter was not only unfriendly but provided a particularly dissatisfying compromise of waiving the service fee - of not the entire meal - but just the burger. Paying $30 for an absurdly dry burger is disappointing (one is really much better off getting a $2 cheeseburger from Macdonald's). I cannot recommend this restaurant in good faith.

Food quality didn’t match the steep price point (mains ~$35). For example, the chicken in the salad was tough like cardboard while the lambshank was bland. Portion was good though. Service was basic. No drinking water was provided. Ambience was very cosy and beautiful. There were indoor and outdoor seatings.

Easy to find as it is located just in front of the Raffles place station. The staffs were very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed their coffees too, I think they are better than those that you can get from regular cafes on the street. We had the chicken salad and club sandwich, and they were actually really good! Wanna come back and try other menus too.

I think the food is quite overpriced for the quality honestly. Portion wise is big enough to fill you to the brim. I think for the price, service could be a little better? Felt like many of the staffs are relatively new/ they are part timers. Did not automatically refill water, clear plates etc. My friend was supposed to surprise me with the waiter bringing out the bday cake but the waiters have to be reminded like 2 - 3 times till I kinda found out?

Visited this cafe with a friend who’s working at CBD. First and foremost, location was fantastic, just above the raffles mrt station. It is a stand-alone building smack right at the front of Clifford centre. We were there after lunch and the place was crowded. Thus, it can get difficult to have a conversation inside the cafe as a result of the noise. Didn’t try out the food but the coffee was good, heavily roasted type with a great aroma to it. I believed the location did justify the prices charged.

Fantastic Breakfast Place For People Watching! Perfect spot to chill and enjoy a wide array of breakfast options available until 3pm on weekends. The outdoor dining area has a good view of people passing by. Food quality is good and price point acceptable. Service is excellent but might need to wait a bit long for your food. The outdoor tables are also a bit too small if you order big plates. Overall I love the vibe here and is now one of my favorite weekend brunch option.

It was a Monday evening hence the restaurant was rather quiet but atmosphere is cosy & peaceful. We ordered 2 mains: Risotto & Lobster Mac & cheese. Had their house-moscato too, overall wonderful dinner & catch up with friend.

Right smack in the CBD this is a cafe that everyone probably knows about. Came here for late lunch at 4pm and it's still flooded by people: mainly office people having business meetings and drinking wine or champagne in broad daylight. Water is not complimentary. We were quite hungry and ordered a good variety for tasting. Price point is on the high side and portion size is rather large. Soup of that day for us was 🎃 Pumpkin Soup with Baguettes to dip. Absolutely delighted and creamy. Olive oil drizzled over the top of the soup was light and delicious. Persbally i dont like hard bread. Baguette slices was really hard and crunchy. I rate: 4/5 🌟 🦀 Crab Meat Pasta was towards the light side. Meat was super tender and flavourful. Very not overdone. Chillis were added to give a kick. Overall pretty light pasta seafood dish. My friends loved it. I rate: 4/5 🌟 🥪 Chicken Ham Cheese Toastie was so delightful with the tangy sauce in between, sandwiched by an array of cooked thinly slices vegetables. And a side salad. My favourite item ordered. I rate: 4/5 🌟 🍔 Beef Burger had a really nice bun. Patty was thick and doneness of patty can be customised. Bun was a litle wet from patty juice and sauces. Sides of thick cut fries was really good too. I rate: 3/5 🌟

Love the design of this outlet and the atmosphere here. Food is slightly pricey, but the quality definitely justifies the pricing. Beef burger was impressive. Chef got the doneness right and it was perfectly juicy, with tasty caramelised onions. Fries were served with skin on, just the way I love it. Will come back here for the beef burger.

I’ve ordered from this outlet several times, both in person and for delivery. The food is very high quality and fresh and is always delicious. The restaurant has nice vibes, very modern feeling. The staff are friendly and attentive. I recommend the sweet potato wedges and the grilled chicken salad. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Their sandwiches and hot chocolate are incredible. Though a bit pricey but totally worth it. Serves pretty quickly even during rush hours, too. Highly recommend to dine with friends, colleagues, or even alone!

Ordered the English breakfast and it was thoroughly disappointing. Everything was unsalted. The bacon was the wrong type to be cooked crispy so it felt like I was eating jerky. Scrambled eggs were just a tad over cooked so it wasn’t slightly runny. They used a fancy butter but the butter just didn’t taste nice. The sausage was boring, I’ve had better packaged sausages bought from supermarket. Oh, and food wasn’t hot on arrival so by the time I buttered my toast, everything was cold, which made the food even less tasty. No where near worth $24.50++. And they charge for water, per head. Only things stopping this from being a 1 star is the pleasant environment and the service was prompt. Sorry, cut off 1/3 of the egg before I took the photo. Edit: Decided to give this an edit to acknowledge the restaurant’s reply. Good to know someone’s “listening”.

Busy place on a Saturday (brunch time) but service was great! Food were on pricier side. English breakfast set was delicious (loved the sausages, poached eggs were done perfectly, mushrooms earthy and robust,. Sourdough bread with butter spread was simply the best). Spanish baked eggs were a fail (too cloyingly sweet). Mochacino was super yummy!

The coffee is a 5/5 stars, smell awesome and tastes great. At $5 a regular cup (like the small cup at our local hawer), I am still willing to pay for the great taste. It looks like a cup of chocolate. However, having to pay $20 for Eggs Benedict, I think the taste isn't worth the price despite it looking nice. Food came lukewarm. Most of the items are costly with sandwiches from $16.50 to over $20. I had a seat facing the store front with a nice view. However, it's not a place I will have my regular breakfast, which is over $30 for 1 food item and 1 coffee.

It's a busy cafe with people catching up having breakfast and lunch or just coffee. It's in an ideally located venue with plenty of office workers around and is good to catch up with friends or colleagues, and serves some good strong coffee.

A unique standalone space at Raffles Place, easy to spot. Love the crab linguine there however was informed that item has been unavailable for a month or two. Enjoyed my wine there, ordered Pinot Noir that's light and easy to drink. Overall very polite service by the team, as we stayed till closing, team member YY packed and offered tarts, one each for me and my friend, sharing that pastries are freshly baked daily, and rather than disposing any leftovers, they prefer to spread the love. Very awesome move and team (Ali waited patiently for us as well before we made a move and exited the restaurant). Keep it up :)

Went there for brunch, not recommended just yet 1. Service can be improved: they don’t fill up water even if you ask for it, they served the wrong dishe to our table three times! 2. I ordered Spanish baked eggs: presentation is good but oh boy the tomato sauce below its like sugar syrup overloaded fake tomato sauce. Ordered a side of spinach, tiny tiny portion. Highly recommend restaurant ops manager review employee’s morale and on site SOPs, it looks like everyone is scrambling around :(

Loved smoked salmon and decided to try them out the Smoked Salmon Salad with a cup of hot chocolate. The portion was perfect with the rosti hiding underneath, soft and crispy well-balanced. A good intake of carbs, proteins and fibre. The hot chocolate achieved my expectation with the creamy and chocolatey taste. Will be back again with my bestie for lunch .

Great atmosphere and location. We weren’t happy with the Veg baked main course as it was only cheese, however the hostess was kind enough not to bill us for same and we ordered the veg sandwich.

Vibes, service, and food were amazing as usual. The best thing about Providore is their unwavering consistency in the quality of food across all outlets. Both of our beverages were well worth the money. As for the food, we ordered the English breakfast and baked rotolo. The English breakfast was a solid 10/10. However, the baked rotolo was extremely cheesy, and beyond a certain point, it was tough to eat. (Hence the 4-star review for Food)

3 stars for the hot choco and chai latte that is too sweet for me, it has cinnamon which I have been craving lately. The eggs benedict was weird for me, they used bokchoy instead of spinach and the hollandaise sauce is not hollandaise sauce, it seems to be more like nacho cheese with a bit of vinegar and mayonnaise. It also looked very sad. My companion had Spanish eggs with sweet tomato sauce and super bland sausage. The place looks ok for breakfast, but I really hoped the food was better.

Food was superb. Fries was so good which huge bits of salt - it was freshly fried and goes really well with the chipotle mayo which I finished every single drop of it. I asked for a burger patty to be medium rare and it was not only juicy, it was also very well seasoned - just the way I liked it. Nothing about this place is disappointing

We went around lunch and had some waiting. Once we got our table, the coffee was delicious but the vegetarian food was OK-ok. I ordered a grilled veggie sandwich with sour dough and it really wasn't appetizing. The saving grace were their slow pressed juices - pineapple, blueberry and mint

Very nice glasshouse looking cafe in the middle of raffles place square, with glass windows all round it is a very good place to brunch / lunch and in general watch the office people walk around during lunch hours Food is good but prices are slightly steep. The ham/cheese sandwich I had in the pic is 22$, most other mains are 30+$ which I found a bit expensive

Overpriced for what was provided I had the breakfast board and in all honest the presentation was pretty disappointing, there was absolutely nothing special about this dish What’s worse is the sad avocado with brown spots that I had received as well as a decent amount of water within the bottom of the bowl where the poached eggs were The coffee was good, but then again it’s imported from Melbourne that has some of the best coffee in the world I wouldn’t be going back here in a hurry

Bustling on a Sunday tea time. Came in to get our caffeine fix. Mochaccino was nicer than the cappuccino, pastries - sweet and beautiful Mont Blanc, rich chocolate raspberry tart. Our friends had chardonnay and pinot noir. All nice, prices on the high side...

Bizarre service / policy... I was attracted by a delicious looking baguette in the takeaway outlet so asked if I could buy it and eat it inside, I was told I'd need to go inside get a table and order- not a problem. I was shown to my table and placed my order for the delicious looking baguette but was told it was only available for takeaway, it was not possible to order it for dine in. So I'm writing this review whilst enjoying a delicious baguette sitting outside Paul which I will now always recommend above Providore where the service is usually disappointing anyway, that was the final straw.

Central location right on top of Raffles Place MRT. We went for coffee at 5pm and was told to limit to 1 hour. Coffee is good. Lemon meringue and scone done right. Beer was not foamy at first but staff changed immediately after feedback. Service is prompt and polite. Casual ambience good for catch-up.

Been to this place a number of times but today it was a different experience for the two of us and just when my colleague finished his plate of sandwiches, even before he looked up, the plate was cleared and mine was almost taken away (and I had to stop the person from doing so) although I hadn't finished. This was during lunch time. And to top it off, my colleague paid for the lunch and we walked out and about to cross over to Republic Plaza when a guy came running from behind and told us that we have not paid. My colleague showed the bill and then he was OK. No apologies. What has exactly changed? Was there a change in owner, staff, manager? Is a place where things are not exactly "cheap" and today's experience was not good at all!

Went for lunch at the Providore. Though the Chope app "deleted" my reservation somehow, the staff were accommodating when i called to check if we could still come over. All the servers and staff were wonderful, in particular Mamat who took our orders. Food was rich and delicious, the eggs benny was surprisingly tangy in a good way. Overall, would visit again

Great location in the middle of Raffles Place. Warm and cosy. The ambiance can be a little noisy if you want to have a coronationm I need to lean in to hear what the person was saying. The food looks good on camera📷. However, for me I did not like it. Firstly the hot chocolate (with vanilla bean) was horrible for me. I did not even finish a hot chocolate for the first time. The fries was pretty plan, the mayo sauce did add some flavour, while the chilli sauce was 👎. The latte was 👍. Overall good location by the drink was a turn off for me. Who know you might like it. Do check them out.

Food is great, however, do feel a little over priced. But customer service has to be better. Perhaps weekends blues.. No sugar was served with my flat white. No water was served to us when we seated (which we saw some tables were served). When we requested for ice water, they served us a 8 dollars mineral Water!

Very unsatisfactory dinner and very expensive for the quality of food. Ordered the Risotto, Pappardelle Pasta, crab linguine and pumpkin salad. Crab linguine perhaps the only dish that’s slightly acceptable, the rest was not. Risotto had a lot of (unnecessary) ingredients that was overwhelming - it’s like we had to search for Risotto amongst the ingredients. Same for Pappardelle pasta. Maybe we dined on a Saturday and the chef was trying to clear the fridge? Dressing for the pumpkin salad was really strange and didn’t seem to blend in well. We left a big portion behind, because it’s really not nice (it costs $18.50 by the way). We thought to give the dessert a chance, and ordered the flourless chocolate cake. $12.50 a cake - really? For this standard? Surely you can serve at least better vanilla ice-cream? Overall very unsatisfactory dinner at a very high price. Oh, and the music in the shop is also a little too loud and rowdy. Not sure what to expect for this brand after visiting. Is it trying to be high end? But quality doesn’t seem so. Is it trying to attract young crowd? A little too pricey for that. Definitely not family type as well - quite difficult to choose a dish for my kids.
