Arabica coffee shop is an absolute ripoff! The taste, size, and price of their coffee are way out of line. With so many better and more authentic coffee shops in the neighborhood offering reasonable prices, there’s no reason to waste your money here.

Located at the heart of Kampong Glam, it's flooded with tourists. Space is very small, and only limited seating is available. Able to hold up to 15 pax inside and 2 big tables outside. Had 3 people in front of me but loads of people waiting inside and outside as well. And waiting for the time for order after being placed is 30 mins... for 2 coffee. ☕ Spanish Latte Hot 8oz ($8.2) Fragrant roasted coffee with a hint of sweetness. Taste is robust and has a rich aromatic depth. Milk rounded the mild acidity. It's worth its additional cost. I rate: 4.5/5 🌟 🧋 Caffe Latte Iced ($8.4) Aroma of coffee is still quite robust. Carries a nutty lingering aftertaste as well. With the ice and milk, it thins out the coffee. Decent Latte still. I rate: 4/5 🌟

Coffee is nice. Staff is friendly. Setting is clean and minimalistic. 👍🏼 A tad more expensive than the usual but then again I am not a coffee connoisseur so I won't know if it is owing to better coffee. Give it a try! <<T a N>>

Cool place. They have Slayer espresso machine and don’t have cappuccino in the menu. This is not right. Slayer has great steamer to foam milk. Overall is good place to try coffee made on the best coffee equipment from Seattle. Barista needs more training how to steam milk (this is for manager). Great place and need to support them otherwise you will never find this kind of quality

Have been here easily 5-6 times. This is a very popular tourist spot apparently. It’s a small place but it’s always packed. There are 2-3 tables outside and the interior can probably seat another 10-12 people. The white aesthetic is pleasing. Coffee wise, it’s expensive but they make up for it with filling the cup to the brim unlike many other coffee outlets. To be honest, coffee is alright but I would recommend the Jewel outlet if you really want a better latte. Would still be back. Hope the drinks get better.

Place is small and only fit for take away. Cafe acoustic are not perfect. It is annoyed me to hear someone's chat nearby me. Coffee taste are always good but I cant come here again if I m looking for a place to meet up. But for solo trip. Absolutely!

Ordered Spanish latte. It was not too good. Balance is not okay. Coffee is too strong, it doesn't go well with the milk and condensed milk. A bit overrated. I waited 12 minutes for the drink.

We didn't enjoy our experience here. Despite the relatively low number of customers during our visit, it took an unexpectedly long time for our drinks to be served. The prices were also higher compared to Japan. Additionally, the taste was not the same as what I tasted in Japan.

Surprisingly not too crowded, and I just knew I had to have a cuppa here. My favourite from % Arabica Singapore has always been the Dark Latte, with soy milk. It was really great when I had it at the branch at Jewel Changi Airport, and it was also just as great here at Arab Street as well. I somehow also liked the layout in this particular branch too, with offers of different options in the form of outdoor seats, high stools, or windowsills...

Love their coffee!! Smooth and aromatic. I am impressed with their serving. Friendly as always. For the interior it carries minimalistic design yet you can observe the small and fine details like their logo % around the shop! Setting for this outlet is very good for grab and go, however if you are driving, finding a parking space nearby is tricky especially on the weekends (Which I am thankful to have found one!) And if you like to grab a coffee together with your friends, maybe you can visit the bigger outlets as there are limited air conditioned seating. Especially it’s kinda hot and humid these days :)

No dessert but you can bring your own. Dine in or take away. I had a take away cake from near by and ate it at this lovely coffee place. Tried the Spanish coffee. Tastes similar to my regular Arabica coffee place I've normally tried. Staff friendly Many to serve fast service.

Latte is delicious. Canelé is not too sweet. But it's still very hard when heated…Hope it is crispy.

For chocolate lovers, dark latte is a good choice as its rich in chocolate and caffeine. I tasted the matcha latte both warm and cold and prefer the hot version because it wont get diluted by the ice. Satisfying drinks but giving it 4 stars because it is quite expensive, 8-9 plus for a cup.

The deco is very neat, modern, almost all in white, and open kitchen concept, you can see how they make coffee for you. We like the espresso and matcha latte. The business here is super good on public holiday in Arab street, need to be patient for the available tables.

Dropped by my sushi haunt nearby and I saw a queue brewing (pardon the pun) outside % Arabica and a flurry of tourists / Instagramers vlogging themselves “arriving” at this coffee joint. Decided to check out what the fuss was after lunch and decided to get an extra shot latte, my usual brew. Sorry to say that I can’t understand what the fuss was with their pulled espresso. My coffee tasted burnt. I’ve certainly had better lattes from independent coffee shops around Singapore, so factoring in the difficulties in getting a park in this area - I’d save my palate for better coffees elsewhere. But I’d give them an extra star for a nicely kitted out shop.

First time trying % Arabica and it’s absolutely worth the wait. Ordered Dark Latte, Spanish Latte and Kyoto Latte and these coffee authenticy tasting. Thanks to Nizam for explaining the different flavour and how to best enjoy and savour the Arabica coffee. Location is just nice along the busy Arab street. Recommeded to visit this coffee shop when you are in the city!

If you haven't enjoyed a % Arabica coffee yet, then you're missing out. It's a purist's establishment and might seem exclusive or expensive based on its white-washed walls, pine tables, and general Apple feel. However, it's fairly reasonably priced and genuinely excellent coffee. They have managed to expand from their original Hong Kong store (the founder is Japanese but started this in HK) but keep the standards and look as the franchises grow. Worth going out of your way for if you enjoy coffee.

First thing I noticed was the aroma of coffee when you step into the store. If I could buy an air freshener that smelled the same I would definitely buy one. 7 bucks for a latte is abit on the expensive side but it tastes really good! The queue is really long even on weekdays and there are very very little seats available. Best for takeaway.

The Arab street outlet is reminiscent of some coffee houses in New York, great downtown vibes, for a nice coffee break. They also had a collab with Brotherbird for their croissants. Perfect pairing with a nice cup of coffee. The coffee has a slightly more Acidic twang to it but light and aromatic. Easily one of my favorite coffeehouses in the area!

A lot of tourist in here, i really like the branding, everything is nice and clean. You can watch the barista make your coffee inside. There's indoor and outdoor seating area, and the place is quite small. Try their famous spanish latte, not too impressive

A quick place to grab a nice cap of iced latte to go. The place is really small with limited siting. There are some seatings outside, but can get hot in the afternoon.

Had the Spanish latte, lightly sweetened. Although it was more costly than the usual Starbucks per cup, it was delicious. Recommended to try. The staff was very friendly and helped with recommendations too. Thanks!

$7 for a medium cup of cafe latte. It’s an acquired taste that’s quite unique. Sour in the beginning & gradually tasted much smoother. Simple white decor with limited seats, more of a takeaway place. They do serve simple pastries too. Would have given a 5 star if not for the high price!….

  • 5/5 Dea F. 9 months ago on Google
Their place is not so big. Just a corner on the street. I tried 12 SGD spanish latte, and I it’s so overprice for me. The taste is just good but not really special. I’ve tried their soft ice cream and was so good (more worth-the-money in my preference)

%Arabica is a brand with its roots originating from Kyoto, Japan; the brand had since expanded its operations to a number of countries, having stores in China, Europe and even in the Middle East, just to name a few. Picking their very first store to be opened in the Kampong Glam neighbourhood, it is said that the location is being chosen for its cultural roots as well as for having “Arab” in its street name, which also exists in their name.

This place uses Slayer coffee machine, which is the Porsche of coffee machine. The decor and the feel of the cafe matches the opulence of Slayer. I’m not a big ice coffee drinker but in the humid singapore weather, I ordered the ice cafe latte. The flavour of the coffee bean is aromatic and the milk combo was perfect. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking for good coffee around Arab Street.

Been wanting to try after walking passed Arabica in Somerset. The cafe latte is different from what I have tasted in cafes or coffee joints. It feels like zero acidity, very smooth. Nice ambience though the seats are limited.

  • 4/5 Ami S. 1 year ago on Google
When I first passed by, it was crowded, so I was really curious. I went the next day earlier in the morning, so I had no queue. They have a number of interesting latte menu, but the barista says they taste rather sweet. Since I love my coffee black, people, I ended up with espresso macchiato instead. It was good!

  • 3/5 Lil Black D. 2 years ago on Google
Cleaning and bright looking cafe with not many seating. Optimal-grab and go. I had ice cap but was pretty average for the price.

  • 3/5 Mingli L. 2 years ago on Google
Too expensive. No social distancing. No crowd control. More than 10 people entering and waiting around in the outlet. The Spanish coffee is basically like a sweetened latte. Nothing special. For $9 iced Spanish coffee, it’s very pricey. The taste isn’t bad but it’s not worth the price for a takeaway. You can get a nice coffee in a good hotel lobby for this price with table service. Doubt I’ll try it again.

Best coffee shop in the area and a perfect rest area after walking around haji lane. The tall size coffee is nice and strong, and the atmosphere is perfect to chill in the afternoon

I found this place a block from the Sultan's Mosque (which FYI is only open to visitors on weekends as of June 2023). I noticed the Chemex hanging on the wall and had to give it a try. I had read that the dark chocolate drink could be made vegan by leaving out the condensed milk, but when I asked at the counter, they told me that the chocolate itself has milk (I'd double check this though as dark chocolate is usually vegan, but that's what they said, so I just ordered a latte). My small oat milk latte was $6.50 in US dollars, which is pricy. But, it was an outstanding cup of coffee. Maybe the best coffee I've ever had. The entire cup was like whipped creamy goodness, with no liquid, all whip. Well worth the splurge on vaca.

This place is located strategically at Arab Street, you just can't miss it. Overall it gives a classy cafe vibe but not enough places to actually sit and have a relaxing cup of coffee. Had their Kyoto Latte and Pain Au Chocolate and it was amazing. Worth visiting if you're around the area.

  • 2/5 Wei Liang S. 2 years ago on Google
It takes balls to charge more than Starbucks at such a rachet location (good luck finding roadside parking, then walk). All that effort, and the coffee is just meh. Worst still, dark mocha is almost ten bucks but the straw breaks ALL THE TIME (took 2 see the picture). Long black is the better option. I'm fine with environmentally friendlier options, but the tools need to perform basic core function before disintegrating.

% Arabica is located on the bustling Arab street, off of Haji Lane. We visited late on a Saturday afternoon for your coffee fix and we were not disappointed. The coffee is definitely the most expensive one that I’ve had in Singapore yet and wouldn’t say that the price is justified, but the overall taste was pretty good. We got a Kyoto latte (One size - 9$) and a hot Spanish latte (size S - 7.8$). We also got an almond croissant for 6.2$. The indoor seating was full but we thankfully were able to squeeze in to a corner. The coffee was pretty decent, but the almond croissant was not very flaky and had a bit of a stale smell. Overall our experience was good! We wouldn’t travel all the way to Arab street only to visit % Arabica, but wouldn’t mind popping in, in case we’re in the area.

Good coffee. But it was a bit expensive and not cozy for staying and drink inside. Feels like just one of the expensive franchise coffee store.

Nice ambience for an after meal chill out, albeit limited indoor and outdoor seats. Quite limited offerings on the menu. While it can get pretty long in waiting for your orders to be served, the knowledgeable and service oriented crew make up for it. Extremely pricey I would say.

Not an iced coffee person but gave the Iced Latte a try. Like the acidity of the coffee and love the aftertaste. Looking forward to another brew. We were back 2 months later. Had the same iced latte and it was diluted! Guess it really depends who the barista is.

I had my first Arabica coffee in the Philippines. My favorite is their Spanish latte; the bold coffee flavor from the espresso shot and the sweetness from the milk were blended so well. I couldn't just get enough of it. Unfortunately, the Philippine branch had to close because the local partner didn't renew the contract which left my uncaffeinated soul longing for this fix for a very long time. So when I found out that there's a branch in Singapore, it's immediately on my go to list. You can find their branch in Arab street. We went around 9 in the morning and the place is already packed with a mix of tourists seemingly wanting to try their coffee and the locals who mostly were enjoying their time reading a book, resting with their dog and chatting with friends. Even if there's a queue, the waiting time wasn't that long because all the staff were organized, one taking the orders, 2 roasting coffee beans and making the drinks and another 2 serving them. They all worked in synced. I'm all in awe watching them do what they do best - serve the best coffee which definitely will tickle your senses. The ambiance, as always, was very relaxing - the coffee aroma in the air, lightwood interiors, bright atmosphere. This alone, will keep you coming back. We ordered their best sellers - Spanish latte and Caffe Latte. They tasted like what we had back home. I'm so happy. But at the same time, it made me sad that I'd only get a cup of my favorite coffee when I travel again. When you find yourself in this side of the world, grab a cup and let me know how you think.

The dark latte is bloody nice! Hits the spot. Hot or cold both delicious. Its a bit expensive so not a daily thing but maybe once a week as a treat! It is worth lining up if there is a queue

  • 4/5 Vaylor T. 1 year ago on Google
"Aesthetically pleasing, and decent coffee, price is a bit steep". First visit to Arabica on a Sunday and the crowds never seem to stop. The queues were okay mid noon, and after that it was just a steady stream of people getting coffee. Seatings were quite limited but this outlet has bigger tables outdoors if that is your preference. For drinks I ordered the Dark Latte and Iced Americano, and it costs us almost S$20 for the two cups, a price which many would balk at. Notwithstanding the price, the quality of the coffee is rather great, and you could actually tell that the chocolate used in the dark latte is of quality. The verdict was also the same for the Iced Americano, for those that prefer a less acidic and easy going black coffee, the roast used here would be quite easy to like. Service wise, I found the staff to be rather patient in explaining what a dark latte was to me, the non initiated, despite the snaking crowd, which should be the norm, not an exception but still. And of course, not forgetting the aesthetic of this place. The clean, minimalist decor elevates the experience, making you forget for a second that the two cups of coffe you've just had, costs more than a meal for 2 in a nearby coffee shop.

Come with different type of blend and milk. Had Cafe Latte(Arabic Blend) with Almond milk. Nice combo for my taste. Place is simple with white as the main theme color.

  • 4/5 Ceylon P. 2 years ago on Google
The place looks sophisticated and promising. Ordered flatwhite with houseblend. A bit too dark and bitter (considering double ristretto), milk too hot. But texture was great. Love the latte art though

  • 5/5 Ulla M. 2 years ago on Google
The coffee (cappucino) was good. The design was also very thoughtful and beautiful. The beans are roasted inhouse but I was a bit surprised that they don't make filter coffees- only espresso- based drinks + matcha and something else (but no mocha). For more environmentally conscious people- there are no ceramic mugs. Only single use take-away cups. Need to bring your own if you want to enjoy a good coffee without harming the environment. Globally, a good coffee with a bit of Dutch design interior.

  • 5/5 Cristina N. 2 years ago on Google
The best coffee in Singapore! The location isn’t the most accessible of all, but is worth to visit if you are venturing near Arab street/ Haji Lane. The coffee standards are on par with the 313 outlet. Just a pity that there wasn’t much sitting space inside the store.
