Typical neighborhood kopitiam but with decent foods. Like the noodle stall and believe is partnership of Fei Shiong. The ban Mian stall also has nice dumpling. But the economical veg rice stall has a short hair aunty who is very rule, like all eaters own her money. 19 Nov - Dropped two stars from the previous review. Food standard has dropped badly. Ordered the ginger with onion fish rice from the mix rice stall zhi char, I would say this the worst dish I ever had.

One of the WORSE service from this stall - China lady taking people orders. Food was MEH, the attitude from this China lady will never take a second order from me ever so anyone there be aware of this store. I hope that the owner of this business can either improve the overall customer service experience please, at least for your own business sake.

Had the teochew signature noodles. It was pretty average, not flavourful. There was half a egg, minced pork, mushrooms and a few slices of pork. The egg was cold. The noodles was quite springy. The place was spacious, bright and airy. Good to come here for a quick bite.

The location is clean, and the food choice is diverse. Indian muslim stall that serves crispy prata kosong. Malay stalls that serve Gooood nasi Kukus. Chinese stalls that attract long queues. Fatty bombom to satisfy your western craving. Limited seat tho. If u plan to eat more than 10 people together, will not be convenient but enough seat.

Good atmosphere here, had the chicken rice and the soup was GREAT, the chicken is slightly less amazing but overall, food was good. In terms of being clean, it’s quite clean, no odd smell anything. So if you want a quick bite you can come here to grab something.

Lovely place to hang out. I like the open space near the roadside. They have very good stalls in this place. Always see old uncles chilling in the evenings drinking beer.

I ordered 3 packets of mixed rice and the lady keyed into cash register machine and add up to be $11.40. Upon hearing I said to pay by CDC voucher, she amended the cash register machine and added up to be $12.40. I confronted her Why I have to pay more with CDC voucher? She remained silent and look away from me. It was 2.55pm and I am the only customer in their stall, she could have at least explain to me if she had accidentally keyed in the wrong amount. I do not wish to make a big fuss over it and just pay with CDC voucher plus $0.40 cash. There is a notice outside their stall stated to inform them beforehand if you are paying by CDC voucher. Are they allow to charge customer more if customer is using CDC voucher to pay?🤔

Update for September 2021 Added 1 new photo Update for the month of July 2021 Slightly expensive for the Roasted Pork with Char Siew Rice. But the taste is okay. Chinese mixed rice good quality mostly and most importantly prices are affordable. Drinks too

Back then it used to be FoodFare before renovation. Drinks were at a good price which serves the neighbourhood well. I remember getting a teh-o kosong peng which was around 90c or $1 with my own bottle. However, since the completely unnecessary renovation (it was already quite new, and the renovation did not improve much) and the takeover by Kopitiam, the prices of the drink almost doubled! FairPrice Group, if you see this - May I again remind you that you are a social enterprise.

I bought a takeaway Teh C which they put in a paper cup. The lid does not fit properly at all. Its my 2nd time having these KPT paper cups. The hot drink keeps spilling out and dripping when I was carrying it home. I understand KPT had phase out all drinking bags to paper cups in keeping with the reduction of single use plastic. But I find it such a pity if it would soon become a thing of the past. The drinking bags are actually alot more handy than these paper cups. They are probably as old as our nation and iconic of our local/regional food culture. I hope there will be some greener reinvention of these drinking bags. While doing our collective part for the environment we can also preserve our local/regional food identity.

Just Bought 4 x fried rice. Horrible rice texture. When chewing there is like cooked and semi cooked. Most of the Rice were literally crunchy . Salvage what ever can and the rest throw away

2 decent Malay nasi kukus and roast meat store. The drink stall is not too bad. The economy rice and fish soup stall needs a lot of improvement

Food and service is good. However the place is a bit warm especially if your table is inside the main area. However its a bit difficult to find seats in the extension area coz most patrons wanted to sit there maybe also due to the breeze

Great choice of foods very tasty and pocket friendly especially if you are an NTUC Union Member. But try to reach before 7pm as its a good place a lot of stalls will run out of the nice good by then.

The cai png stall used to be very tasty, but after changing to rice garden, the food is salty. Not as nice anymore. The drink stall's staff are friendly though.

Coffee shop is renovated and quite comfy. Mixed veggies stall gave very small portion despite charging inflation price. Ordered curry chicken and two veggies. Only two small chicken meat with a mini slice of potato and few strands of veggies at $5. Better go to the bus interchange canteen, they offered bigger portion and sell at reasonable prices

A completely sterile rendition of an old time classic. If you like processed food from central kitchens warned up for you, this is it! Also, this version of bak chor mee would delight anyone with an aversion to fat - there is none to be found. Some say oil and fatty meat is bad for dogs; this is completely dog-safe.

Plenty to say about the economy rice stall ... The food's taste there is actually not too bad, but they're stingy like hell. I understand there is high inflation, but I feel sometimes their meat is full of fried starch/flour (instead of actual meat), imagine giving me only 2 small piece of meats and 1 piece is mostly flour lol. At one point, I already ordered for lesser rice but actually wanted them to pour some gravy first before placing other orders, and the rude staff just say cannot with no reason given whatsoever. Also, most meats are like at least $2 per portion, so order at your own risk. It is not so "economy" any more afterall :-)

Is the bread in the coffee set now only sold as half a slice? I asked the counter staff that the bread in the set meal was only sold as half a slice? She said yes!

😐 We were there for dinner so price point wise a little high. (But then again, prices are rising everywhere). Head over for their weekday lunch to get most value for your money. A decent place where the quality of the western food is comparable to those at hawker / coffeeshop stalls. FOOD - Ribs were...

👍👍 Tenderbest is so successful, they have multiple outlets in just few years, with their good reputation of good quality food at low price. I like to frequent their Punggol East outlet, as it is tucked in a quiet corner, and just besides a very big open car park. I had tried the beef and mutton dishes,...
