I would say it’s a nice place to chill and catch up with friends. There’s outdoor seating but weather too hot at midday. Nice presentation of food but nothing remarkable. Hummus was good though 💯 Service is also prompt 👍🏼

Staff worked quick, food served and tasted excellent. Namba chicken burger is one of our favourite! I must commend the floor area staff for his politeness and brilliant awareness and attitude to attending us today! I would rate more than 5 stars if I could. :)

Dishes are surprisingly much tastier with a complexity that might initially have been expected. The Revuelto Gramajo, for example, had a lovely tomato based sauce applied onto the bread that offered a surprising tasty sweet and tangy twist to what would've been an otherwise very average brunch dish. Hummus bowl had a lovely sweet cherry tomatoes added in to once again add a certain extra something. The Mont Blanc black cold brew coffee is a must try. The orange zest adds a refreshing citrusy fragrance that complements the black cold brew well with just the right amount of sweet cream such that the drink is not overly cloyingly sweet. A little pricy but definitely worth a visit.

Patrons beware: Manager's bad vibes are more contagious than Covid. Guy that seemed to be the manager in charge asked 4 of us to leave because we had gotten coffee takeaway cups but had sat down at a table, and that "didn't look very nice". I asked to transfer our coffee to normal cups, but was told that he didnt want to waste cups. Asked why we couldn't sit at the table when we were 4 paying customers who each had a drink and had been there max 10 minutes, and the man blames covid?! Nothing wrong with the coffee which was actually pretty good, but if this guy is in charge I'd expect bad service all round from this place. If you don't want to ruin your day avoid all interaction with this man.

Lovely place! Came on a monday noon and was surprised to see so many people. Loved the egg toast and smoked salmon alot. The chilli chicken was not bad with generous amount of avocado smash, though i felt its a little bland. But overall still good and will definitely be back again!!

I loved the concept of the restaurant. Sure I will visit every time I travel to Singapore. It’s great choice hence the menu is flexible and you can build on your own breakfast/brunch. The food is amazing even the coffee. Highly recommended. If there is a rating more than 5 stars I would rate it more. It’s a good choice for every day breakfast 🍳

Quite an interesting breakfast place. Lots of crowd as this is a popular photo taking place. The food is considered meh meh and overrated for the price you are paying. Service is still alright. But once the place is crowded it’s really hard to have any service. You got to order at the cashier before the food arrive at your table. Nothing amazing. Better place out there.

They serve excellent coffee, one of the best I have tried. However I find the place a little noisy. Nonetheless nice place to chill. Was here for a gathering with 5 other ladies. Date of visit: 25 Jul 2022

Went there late afternoon, had toast with egg and avocado. The quality is good, in line with what you’d expect in a place like this. The first thing the waiter mentioned “We have one hour dining time”, but ultimately it was not full, so we were allowed to stay. The place is a bit small for you to have quiet corners, in fact can get pretty loud. - to the extent it might feel like a food court. The location is nice with access from Chimes main entrance.

Known for its tater tots - I’m glad it didn’t disappoint! Just a bit too full for the two of us as we ordered mains as well. There’s a Christmas menu (pan seared salmon) so we ordered that. Wow this is next level of salmon well done, imagine the skin to be crispy but the salmon is not too overcooked. Brussels sprouts were delicious too, think it’s a good seasonal menu! Ordered the avocado as well - I’m genuinely amazed and impressed with the serving of avocado. It’s buttery but not jelat at all (how can a full plate of avocado tastes so good and be evenly spread out the toast?) felt like the avocado was “free” 🤣 There was a hot mont blanc coffee as well: a bit too sweet (cinnamon is not for me) and makes you more full when the sugar kicks in. Menu is slightly pricier (2 pax around $91 in total) but I think it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area and have been wanting to try it out!

The flat white coffee we had was exceptional and the location itself was great! However, as it’s a glasshouse concept, I hope the owner would consider another efficient cooling method for the cafe as it is Singapore afterall and humidity is at full-swing. Would’ve loved to stay longer and try more from their menu but was just hoping to leave ASAP due to the heat 😮‍💨🥵

I had a chance to dine out for breakfast this morning. So we decided to head to Glasshouse after seaching on google. Very pleasant surprise. This little cafe is tucked away in a corner in chijmes. The decor with live plants all over the cafe makes it so relaxing and chill. The menu looked so good that we had a hard time deciding what to have. I had a made my own breakfast with bacon, creamy scramble eggs, sauteed mushrooms and sourdough slices. The bacon was nice and crispy and not too salty. Eggs was good, not too dry, creamy. Butter is charged at $1 a slice. Hmmmm. I thought it could be complimentary upon request. Coffee wasnt too bad but i had a triple shot black. We also had an order of tater tots to share. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The mac and cheese is simple and not too overwhelming. The revuelto gramajo is something special. Argentinian scramble eggs, smoked ham, fried potato fries with house made tomato relish. Service is prompt and proper. Overall very good experience. Not a big crowd so we did enjoy the quiet moments.

Had the breakfast burger and cubanos. Cubanos came with a side of chips and it was filling and overall tasty. My friend thought the breakfast burger had an unappealing sauce to it. Nice vibes but service could definitely be improved.

Food was good. But customer service needs to be improved. Below interactions were with a short plum girl, wearing a pink smart/Apple Watch. The tables were positioned very low , so I asked to change to a higher seating table. But was replied: “can you at least let me clear the table first?!” Ordered the toast bread, but on menu there was no indication saying that there’s some sort of cream cheese spread. I asked if we were able to have just the bread replaced, cause it’s just a slice of bread. We’re not asking to change the whole plate. But was replied immediately without check by the staff: “sorry, we are unable to do that” After further talking, the staff then relented and says she will check with her chef. Thankfully, they agreed to swap a piece of clean bread for me. Don’t understand why she will reject me right away without checking. Allergy issues should be taken seriously at all times! Other than this, food was good, and ambience was good.

Great beverages and pretty good food. We had the cold brew and single origin hot chocolate. Both were great. Cold brew was moderately strong with fruity notes - great for our hot and humid weather. Hot chocolate was really good - being single origin gives you some interesting notes that aren't usually available in generic hot chocolates. Food is pretty good here. We had the chicken nanban burger and glasshouse cubanos. Of the two, I liked the cubanos the best. It's a solid savoury sandwich with just enough dressing to not be slimy. The burger was kind of disintegrating while being eaten due to the sauce. Some people like this, different strokes for different folks. Overall good experience. Will be back.

Good vibes at this place where it seems to attract the young crowd. Ordered white coffee and this weird coffee soda mix they have with their cubano. The coffee was good and not over bitter so I enjoyed it. The cubano was good and crunchy. I would leave the pineapple out.... Maybe its similar to the pineapple on pizza debate..

We made our way here as we bought a $50 voucher from Social Live. Reservation couldn't be made as it was a weekend. Glad that the queue moved fast and the staff also informed us that the table seating limit was an hour. The staff was polite and showed us to the table after we had shown her our vaccination status and scanning of the safe entry. We placed our order at the cashier once we had decided what to order by scanning the menu on our table. What made it worthwhile was with the voucher, we didn't have to pay for the service charge. The bill added up to $50 exactly. The hummus bowl came with a generous portion of sourdough bread, it was so delicious. We were completely satisfied with the avocado and eggs too. The dessert, tiramisu was simply good and not too sweet. The caffè latte was to our palate too. Look at the pics below. The look of it is as good as the taste. This cafe is a place for those who are looking for a delightful ambiance and great food.

The floor to ceiling glass panels fill the venue with natural light giving good ambience to enjoy the food and company. Gets crowded quick during weekends and lunch/dinner hours so if you want to chill in peace and take in the atmosphere, head down during non-peak hours. They one of the few places in town that serve awesome cinnamon rolls, and their tater tots make a good side dish.

Hands down one of the best local specialty coffee places in Singapore. Frequent this cafe a lot because it is near school. Loving the newly renovated place, especially the beautiful plants around. Coffee is amazing, really nice flavours (they use Nylon and other nice brands).

Was recommended by staff Burrata Toast and Breakfast Burger. Bread on both the toast and burger were fresh baked. Burger came with oozing egg, bacon, avocado and hash brown. Interesting combo and nice recommendation. Would take the burger again. Location is nice, came on weekday brunch and not so crowded, nice atmosphere for chatting and catching up. Attentive staff service.

Love the lush greenery! Plants were all very well maintained and pretty to look at! Had the classic salmon and the grilled cheese, both of which were good and in generous portions. Coffee was great as we had asked for double shot. Received warm service from the staff. The only slight imperfection was the coffee stain at the side of the cup and wet water on the saucer. But still giving it a five stars coz it was overall an enjoyable experience. Good job!

Dropped by this beautiful cafe for tea / dessert. The coffee was very good! The Mont Blanc had an interesting orange zest, while the mocha was not acidic at all. The basque burnt cheesecake was also yummy. Will be back to try the mains one day. However, the cafe did get a bit noisy, so it might be better to drop by on a weekday afternoon instead.

Glasshouse is nested with the historic Chijmes location. They serve brunch food and mostly coffee. We tried the Mont Blanc, which had a nice sweet cinnamon and nutmeg foam, with very deep liquorish coffee as base. The price for this was $9; an ice flat white is around $8. The lemon-citrus soft cake was pretty good that goes well sweetly with the coffee-drink. Do wait for a staff to assign table to you, and once at the table, scan the QR code to place the order and pay at the counter.

My friend bought me a cup of take away latte. However, when I got it I felt it is extremely light. It is just half a cup for take away. I must say the latte is nice, but unacceptable it is half a cup of coffee. I suggest the cafe to change the take away cup to fit the size of coffee that they are willing to give so to avoid misleading.

Needed some quiet respite away from the hustle and bustle of life. Glasshouse at Chjimes offered me just that. Serene and chill environment for small catch-ups, individual work. Had the cold brew coffee this time round - one of my favorites around the area. 9/10! Very smooth tasting and refreshing. Not too heavy. Good selection of brunch items and waffles too to complete the coffee run! :) Fantastic service by the young crew members as well. Thank you!

The magical combo of blistered tomatoes, balsamic, caramelized onions, stracciatella, and sourdough SATISFIED me thoroughly. The sourdough has good tang and a nice chew, which made for a great foundation. I also like how the scrambled eggs were not too greasy.

Service very attentive and prompt. Ambience lively bit too noisy when full. Unfortunately the roast beef was bland. Just lacking in punch need like more salt and spice. Got lot of left over unchewable chunks.

I was thrilled about the menu, it had a mouthwatering selection. I ended up ordering their Mac n’ Cheese, PB&J cookie and sort of a tonic coffee. The food is just okay. Not worth the price. Too expensive for the taste. I could feel the starch on the Mac n’ Cheese sauce, like the roux need more time to cook. I also expected it to be stringy and cheesy but yeah, it was starchy. The PB&J cookie is nice. The coffee is refreshing. The place is spacious, clean, what I didn’t like was the music. Too loud. The staff were all nice and attentive. Friendly. Extra points for the question cards to help you have a meaningful and fun conversation with your companion.

Not just your regular cafe, they had this pretty looking drink with thick foam, and you get the hit orange zest fragrance when served. Rich yet refreshing drink perfect for today’s hot afternoon. The head was this rich creamy layer over their iced cold brew. Love that they serve it in fancy nude glassware as well, and it felt almost like a cocktail! I’ll love to have a bigger glass of this.

Very nice and pretty cafe. Food pretty good too. We ordered the breakfast burger and cubanos. No complains for the burger. But hope to have sauce for cubanos cause can get a little dry. If you like your coffee acidic, this is the place for you. Dining is limited to 1 hour.

I love the vibe here. It's nice place for either short coffee-chat or long conversation. It can be loud for some times, but if you enjoy relaxing and watching people come and goes, I recommend this place. The coffee is normal but my goodness the food is amazing! Highly recommend the grilled cheese (PS: I suggest ditch the fork and knife coz best is to get in it while it's hot) and their truffle tots is good for sharing as well. The staffs are nice, and they do get busy during peak hours so be prepared if visit during lunch time Food: Grilled Cheese 🥪🧀 and Tater tots Drinks: Ice Latte ☕️🧊

Glasshouse at Chijmes is an absolute gem! The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the stunning ambience and the abundance of natural light flooding through the glass walls. The interior design is both elegant and modern, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The food was exceptional, with a diverse menu that caters to various tastes and dietary preferences. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot to catch up with friends or a romantic setting for a special occasion, Glasshouse at Chijmes ticks all the boxes. Went to this lovely place for brunch as I was nearby and I was amazed! Atmosphere was good and food tasted great too. They also have a pet friendly area outside for your fur kids. Sweet potato medley and chilli chicken bowl (4.5/5) : Loved the fact that there were 2 kinds of sweet potatoes. Chilli chicken was seasoned well and tender. Glasshouse breakfast (5/5): Scrambled eggs were perfect. Very smooth, soft and creamy. Paired well with the toast and juicy bacon. Tatter tots (5/5): It was crispy and well seasoned. The truffle oil enhanced the taste of the potatoes too.

Having eaten here a few times, the food is generally not bad, and is usually somewhat crowded. I'm not sure if they are constantly under staff or if just the staff are not aware of new customers. Another unfortunate thing is that the croissant doesn't come with any butter or jam, and you have to pay for butter. I understand, some customers may over order the butter and cause wastage and may also increase the expenses. But I honestly think that it is not ridiculous to ask for just one butter to go with the croissant. Star Bucks is doing it, tiong bahru bakery can do it, therefore I think it's ridiculous when I ask if I could have any sauce to go with the croissant, the staff brought me chili sauce.

A good place to grab brunch with friends. Great lighting, well presented food and welcoming staff. Prices are typical of most cafes, we spent around $80 total for 3 mains, 1 side and 1 drink. Would come here again for the atmosphere. Food is not exceptional but it’s definitely tasty and good for the gram.

Glasshouse is a very nice social space to catch up with friends at. Service is really good, staff are all kind and smiley + take initiative. Coffee is also great. As for work wise, I think there are other cafes better suited than Glasshouse. Because the space is small, conversations from other tables can be heard clearly and I believe there are no plugs available. The staff won't chase you out if you're doing work though, but this feels like a space built for socialising rather than working. Still 5/5 for service, and quality of coffee!

Floor to ceiling glass windows give the cafe an open feel, making the whole cafe very suitable for chilling out. Definitely coming back for their pastries and waffle!

Nice place for a drink. Coffee is good and nutty. Hot and fragrant. With oat milk just makes it better. Also tried the lemon pound cake. Citrusy but a little dry. Good complement but not so much on its own. Environment is good, spacious and clean with good vibes.

We stopped by for a relaxing cup of leaf tea and a macha latte. The matcha latte was very good with a strong but well balanced macha flavour combined with the frothed milk, although there was a bit of undiluted matcha left in the cup at the end. The leaf tea was served great, although given the strength with the amount of tea leaves provided, it would have been better if they could provide a pot of water rather than just a mug as it got too strong as it sat in a single cup of hot water.

Really enjoyed our breakfast and coffee here. They sell coffee beans from a variety of places (one thing to note - you don't get a free coffee when you buy the beans, which you do in lots of other places). The breakfast choice is good and not too pricey - Love the hummus and toast option. There are also Grilled Cheese sandwiches; Avo and eggs; Salmon; Granola and other options.

Excellent coffee. They rotate beans from brand name local roasters and use milk from Meiji. This time round, for espresso-based drinks, there was a choice of single origins, one roasted by Community Coffee and the other by 2 Degrees North. The default for the white is a single shot. The white, made with Costa Rica Las Nacientes roasted by Community Coffee, had good aroma, a robust, balanced, blackcurrant jam flavour with good texture, a heavy body and great aftertaste. From an earlier visit, the spaghetti bolognese with roasted vegetables was not bad - a sort of home cooked taste. The sample of coffee granola tasted was good with some Meiji milk.

Came for a cup of cold brew, white coffee, classic salmon and breakfast burger. The coffees were delish. Cold brew isn't harsh and bitter. Has a nice citrusy punch to it at the end. The white coffee (I think it's a flat white or even a latte since it had steamed milk?) had more of a milk flavor than coffee. Prices were similar to any of your typical coffee shops. The food was great too. The salmon with sourdough toast had a heap of smoked salmon with cucumber and cream cheese. The classic burger is pretty hefty and love the hash brown that they put in it. I needed that extra crunch because the bun itself isn't toasted. I typically prefer my buns to have a little crunch to it personally. Nice ambiance (the name is perfectly fit) and quick service too. Place wasn't too packed at the time we went and they have more seating than expected.

though there isn't a chance to book reservation, it wasn't a long period of time for us to wait. I ordered breakfast toast, which was quite decent. The food was served fast and the service was alright. However, the environment or ambience was quite loud, and we were sort of shouting inside to be heard by one another. The pulled pork was quite salty but still at the same time well seasoned. I would appreciate if there was more options to change the buns to either wheat/wholemeal options or more. after a while,I was quite thirsty and did not want to opt for a drink. but overall the experience was great. Worth trying.

Had a nice short brunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The beautiful greenery placed around the outlet made it look spacious and comfortable. The staff told informed us that dining time was only 1 hour, but I guess with the quick service time, it was just right for us. The acoustics in the restaurant was poor, and it could be noticed when we entered the serene looking place, but sounding like a wet market where people were speaking loudly to each other. Perhaps it's due to the glassed effect that made the sound inside deafening. Besides that, the breakfast burger was close to perfect, the buns nicely toasted, eggs perfect, bacon crispy and just right salty, and the avo tasted great together.

Busy coffee shop, especially mornings, inside Chijmes along one of the outer walls. Nice zen interior with simple wood furniture. They offer a number of brew methods, including one of my favorite, pour over. For pour over or espresso, you can select your beans, usually offer Central or South America, and Africa choices. A modest selection of bakery items to choose from, and they have some food menu as well. While their corner location is nice, I enjoyed even more, their former temporary space just across the sidewalk in the Chijmes garden, in what really was a 3-sided glass house and roof. It was a lovely place to sit in the open air in the cool air in the morning, just out front of a busy high-quality coffee shop.

Gorgeous little space with plenty of light and as observed so many plants ! Friendly staff and efficient service, with a small menu. I like that they give you the option of 1 or 2 shots for your coffee. Chose an oat milk flat white, and the coffee was smooth and decently strong even for single shot. Can get pretty noisy indoors with the low ceilings, and there was a line after 2pm. Worth checking out when it’s not too busy.

Pros- Good coffee and service. If you love toast and clean ambience surrounded by lush greenery, The Glasshouse will be suitable for you. Cons- Lack of choices on the menu

Probably my favorite coffee place, especially when it's quiet in the mornings. Great specialty coffee and filters. The foam for the white is always perfect, even when it's non dairy milk. Do note that it can get noisy, and there is no wifi.

Absolutely fantastic place with super tasty food / drinks (one of the best matcha lattes I had in this area). Very nice atmosphere :-)

coffee is decent. food leaves much, much more to be desired. i ordered the smoked salmon toast. for a place that claims to be a specialty coffee and toast bar, the toast was severely lacking. it was sliced so thinly that i could not taste the bread. although cream cheese was one of the ingredients, it was spread so thinly that it was only barely enough to fill the tiny holes in the toast. i wondered if it was butter and had to carefully pick a morsel of it from one the tiny holes with my knife so that i could taste it and ascertain that it is cream cheese. the food will do better with a far more generous serving of bread and cream cheese. my friend ordered the breakfast burger which looked very normal to me - hash, bacon, egg and the burger bun. food which looks easy to make at home. my salmon toast also took a long time to be served

Before I headed down to the glasshouse, I didn’t expected much from the food/coffee bcos like most cafes, I thought the glasshouse was all about the aesthetics and not the quality of food. But I was so wrong. Not only does the cafe have a nice atmosphere, they serve really good quality food and coffee. I ordered the salmon toast ($15) and ice latte ($6.50). Such a common brunch item but it just tasted so damn good?! Can’t wait to head down with my friends to try out other items from the menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Hands down to one of the best local speciality coffee places in Singapore! 🙌🏻

Very instagrammable. The coffee tasted OK but the toasts were a little overpriced. Can be very crowded and thus not a cosy place for having conservations.

Bright and friendly staff, but a pity the place is ridiculously noisy for a cafe setting. I can’t even hold a proper conversation with my friend in the cafe. Food looks good, but taste ok, nothing to shout about. Had a egg and avocado toast, cinnamon roll and a pull pork burger. Only the cinnamon roll shines (but likely this is bought from other kitchen) The coffee is good, had a double shot flat white. Will explore other cafe rather then return here.

Decent place for breakfast. Nice environment, though relatively loud and not the best place for a quiet conversation. Hummus and avocado toast was average!

One of the best coffee places and really liked their cinnamon roll. The coffee is straight to the point and the pricing is awesome for the location.

Grilled cheese was sold out around 12ish but the banh mi was incredible. Pulled pork was nice but the bread was kinda too hard. Might be better to change the choice of bread. Coffee was decent too

The coffee here is pretty good! Some of the toasts are quite expensive for the portion, but go for their Japanese Egg Sandwich - the egg is very well seasoned and fun to eat, and the sourdough bread is good too. It's filling enough for lunch if you are a small eater Would not recommend the granola bowl as it is too dry and hard. The place is quite crowded, so if you are thinking of sitting and chatting you might be asked (very nicely) to leave after a hour.

Nice ambience and music (the speaker is really good). Didn't get to try the food as kitchen was closed. Only had a rather tiny cup of matcha latte. Service was good.

😐 This is ecstatically the best looking amongst the PS Cafes. They have a good selection of food and beverages that some might consider pricey. But their cakes and deserts are very good. It’s a great place to chill in the afternoons and also good for sundowners after a long day. It’s always a pleas...
