😐 Coffee is good, and service is nice and fast. There is surprisingly a lot of seating inside for such a small space, and even though it was almost fully packed the temperature inside was still nice and cool. However it does feel a little cramped especially towards the back. And my glass was not clean... People often mention good, cafe, staff, coffee, table, nice, service, latte, brunch, smell,

Pretty cozy place for a casual Western breakfast and a cuppa. Service is prompt and attentive, though small and quaint interior, it's nice, clean, warm and cozy. Not the best breakfast fare nor the cheapest cuppa at value, great if you want to spurge a little for a lazy Sunday morning.

Coffee is good, and service is nice and fast. There is surprisingly a lot of seating inside for such a small space, and even though it was almost fully packed the temperature inside was still nice and cool. However it does feel a little cramped especially towards the back. And my glass was not clean - there were two dried spinach(?) leaves on it, near the bottom of the glass and near the rim.

I like this place. It's not too busy and always very cozy. The previous staff were more welcoming, today, the cashier had a face that was about to ravage people, that cold and unwelcoming vibe. 4 stars for this place due to its good coffee, nice setting, low crowd and also it's food. We ordered the House Pancakes by accident but was still happy due to taste. Will still come here because it's easy to get to and plenty of parking.

The food was actually really good! I had the Pork Cheek Rigatoni, and i really enjoyed then pasta. I had iced banana caramel latte, which I thought was pretty interesting as well as special, i enjoyed it and it wasn’t too sweet. The cafe also had very vintage vibes, and the ambience was good. My friend also enjoyed his food 👍

Nice cafe at Tiong Bahru. We drop by here now and then for a coffee break as we can bring our dog here to chill outside the cafe. The coffee is nice. So far, we didn’t try any of the food yet. In front of the cafe there is a small ‘garden’ where u could sit.

Cozy brunch spot hidden away with little to no noticeable signage but definitely worth seeking out. It's a tight space but they've done their best to ensure good-sized tables throughout and even a large dining table at the front. It manages to balance the space and not feel too packed even with limited floorspace. There's also some outdoor seating. Coffee was great and the cake we tried was tasty. I'd come back for the brunch options and to enjoy what might be the nicest architecture in Singapore.

The food is not bad. Love their banana caramel latte because is not too sweet with a tinge of banana fragrant. Love that it has a small outdoor area for dogs :)

A beautiful and cozy wok cafe for catching up with friends or getting some productive work done. Delicious big breakfast with a huge serving and silky scrambled eggs. Wifi is good and power points available indoors. Staff is polite and friendly!

Atmosphere: My biggest complain is the strong stench coming from the toilet which was right beside our table. The cafe could have done a few things about this like having an automatic door closer or turning off the fan that really only serves to circulates the toilet air into the rest of the cafe… Service: Despite having a reservation, the service staff also did not have a ready table for us upon walking us in (they made us wait at the side while they split off a table from another customer), and did not bother with cleaning the table either. It was very squeezy as well and I had trouble moving in and out of my seat. Food: The food was sub-par - chicken was dry, steak was supposedly medium rare but still rather tough. Will not be returning again.

Quaint place in Tiong Bahru for brunch. Place is small so seating can be quite tight and loud. You’ll be able to hear the conversation of your table neighbor. Ordering is done at the counter so there’s no table service, which can be a good thing, no service charges. Ordered an avocado toast and hot latte. Coffee is good but the avocado toast was average at best. The toast was thin and the guacamole was spread thinly. My brunch buddy had the bolognese linguini and an iced mocha and wasn’t too impressed either. Total bill came up to ~ 45 sgd. For the price point and quality, would consider it pricey.

This place serves good food and coffee. My Pork Burger 🍔 is rather big portion and the Americano Coffee taste awesome too! Plus they don’t charge “GST & Service”

I was kind of disappointed with my meal. The banana caramel latte had neither banana nor caramel flavour. We actually double confirmed with the staff that it was the correct item. The fish that came with the pasta was salty. Also, the lemon apple cake was lacking lemon flavour, just a plain sponge with apple slices at the bottom and chopped nuts at the top. Didn’t warrant paying $8 for it. Overall, I found the place overpriced. The pasta was almost $20. The staff was generally friendly.

Great value quirky cafe that serves really good food & coffees. Place can be noisy when inconsiderate customers talked loudly. Been here many times over the years. They have really good value set lunches on weekdays.

The food was pretty good, coffee was very good. The sourdough could be thicker for the shakshuka. Unfortunately I have to agree with one of the reviewers here that there’s a v musty smell close to the toilet. It bothered me quite a bit although my friend didn’t notice. Try to improve circulation or so some renovation to improve it. Consider perhaps some neutral smelling spray or scent in the place

Flock Cafe offers amazing food and coffee. We’ve come here twice so far and their house-made burger and steaks are amazing. Great value for money. Their coffee is also very good. Highly recommend this place for brunch and lunch.

Pleasently surprised no service charge and prices are nett but the avocado is overpowered by too much raw onions and possibly MSG taste so minus 1 star. And the bathroom really smells so don't seat too close to bathroom.

Had a wonderful lunch here with a friend! Awesome Big Breakfast and really great chocolate frappe! Nice chill vibes! My friend’s Shakshuka looked really great too! The Big Breakfast was really big indeed! With excellent crispy sourdough slices, bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms, sausage and baked beans! A hearty hearty meal!

Ordered an Iced mocha & latte - both of which were fragrant and with perfect balance of acidity and bitterness. Not too overwhelming. The house/homemade (?) burger was too good. It’s not too oily nor jelak. The beef used also DOES NOT have the funky smell that some places may have? The burger bun was also very fluffy and light - easy to finish the whole burger without feeling too greasy inside. 😂 The cakes were a disappointment though. The lemon apple cake was dry with minimal apple pieces and the earl grey cheesecake came melted and you could feel the clumps of gelatine in it. Felt a bit grossed out by those gelatine clusters. The croissant/pastries also looked smushed and not fluffy anymore, so we passed on those. Overall we thought the service and coffee were really good! Will be back for their hot food and coffee. No no to the cakes and pastry.

It is nearby my son's enrichment centre so we went and gave it a try. Been going back for the past 3 weekends. Firstly the staff are very accommodating, we are 2 adults and a child in stroller, and they will give us priority on better table so we can let my daughter have her nap in the stroller. This place also allows pets at the seats outside. Another time i went and the aircon was directly blowing at us, the staff helped to direct it away. Secondly, food looks good and taste even better. Didn't really take pics the first few times, but I would highly recommend this place. Nice place to chill and chat with friends, affordable prices. About 15 dollars for my aglio olio with grilled prawns. Tea is refillable as that is what I ordered. Overall I think if you have children, this place is not that stressful to come to. And for those looking for a good meal, worth to try it out.

Our regular go-to weekend brunch hideout. Very friendly staff and food always on point! Tucked in a little corner and hidden behind a bit of lush greenery. Cozy ambience

UPDATED ON 2023-10-22: Revisited this cafe today for breakfast and ordered exactly the same big brekkie and flat white coffee. I keep my review on the coffee quality: it’s just ok, average quality. But this time, I enjoyed the big brekkie more and the bacon and sourdough bread were much better than my last visit. ORIGINAL REVIEW on 2023-07-16; The coffee was quite bland and the big breakfast was big enough but not very delicious, especially the sausage.

Coffee was good. But not the cheesecake and waffles. Cheese cake taste like the raw Philadelphia cheese :( Nice quiet place. Not so crowded on a weeknight.

Very chill cafe with friendly staff. Food was served really quick as well. I ordered the big breakfast and it's really worth it. Definitely filled my tummy! As for drinks, i went with Ice banana caramel latte. I would say I am quite surprised how great it tasted. The banana taste wasn't that strong and it blended nicely with the latte. I would visit this cafe again for sure!

Happened to chance upon this cafe while searching for a lunch place in the area. I was here few mths ago as well and i recalled i quite liked the food. This time, ordered the waffles and pasta and both dishes somehow didnt taste as good this time. Maybe because its kinda "not hot" when they were was served. I also find the pasta very soggy this time, too much sauce added. I hope their consistency could be improved.

Ambience was nice. The waffle was fluffy and the vanilla ice cream was not so sweet. However, the sourdough is a bit tough when eaten. Overall a nice experience.

Pretty cozy place and probably a nice place for brunch. Food was pretty good, price above average. However, the smell of the toilet is so strong that the table that was outside able to smell. End up we went to the table near the counter which is much better.

EXCELLENT food. Extremely delicious, very fresh. O have never been disappointed. Prices are high, but lower compared to similar places. The staff os super super nice, they go out of their way to help. And the cafe has a fantastic vibe, which makes it all worth it.

Pleasantly surprised with this cafe. I was in the area for something else initially, but i decided to heed a Google map recommendation instead which is atypical of me, but now I am happy that I did. Would not have found this without it as it was quietly hidden from view from the road. The staff were polite and patient with my requests for recommendations. Ordered big breakfast and Latte which i enjoyed. The impressive latte art is an unexpected bonus as well

Have been a regular patron of this cafe. However during my recent visit on 03/11/2023, we were assigned seats at the back of the cafe where there is an awful stench coming from the back. Not sure if it was coming from the restroom, but it smelt like dead mice. We asked to be seated outside instead because the smell was unbearable. Considering this is an eating establishment, I hope this matter could be properly looked into. We'd informed the service staff as well.

A good place for brunch or dinner. Although only 2-3 staffs available, their service is good and food is served fast. They have a wide variety of food which includes main meals, light meals and drinks. I personally Prefer their brunch selection as the big breakfast was a good choice.

Granola & Pancakes Breakfast set 8am to 11am Cozy atmosphere, light and crunch pancakes topped with granolas, crunch bacon and fresh yogurt. This is my third time visiting Flock Cafe. As a tourist I came here three years ago and am so glad that they still have the same menu. Worth visiting and seeking out on the map! :) Will definitely visit here again when I travel Singapore next time.

The shop is hidden from the main road, and you might miss it if you didn't look carefully. The food is nice and delicious! The pork cheek burger is more like a pulled pork burger and the sourdough slice tho delicious, is a bit too thin.

Chanced upon this cafe while looking for cafes in this area with charging port for my dying phone after power bank was drained. Staff helped to point out a small table with charging port. There's no GST and service charge! Plus there are seats at ~5pm on Sat unlike Plain Vanilla. Wanted to get a tea ($5) but was distracted by the black sesame cake ($8) in the display. Not too sweet but as nutty as Flor's. I was seated right in front of the cashier counter for the power plug but there was a damp smell (not bad damp but constant damp) from the shared gender washroom. It doesn't go away even with a fan on max speed in the washroom. Recommend to sit outside (no aircon) or the aircon part when you first enter. There are power plugs outside too. Can't believe I put up with the smell for 2h for phone battery and thought it was the table having the damp smell. Saw a woman use the washroom without buying anything. Hope the cafe gets enough volume or higher value per ticket to make up for how long people stay there. It was almost empty near dinner time and they close at 8.30pm.

Came here for dinner on a weekday and I must say all the food taste sooo good. My daughter asked me to give 5 stars coz she loved the food too. They have dinner set with wine/beer at additional few bucks which I think is super value for money. Definitely will be back again!

A quiet and cosy cafe at level 1 of the horseshoe block. We ordered the spaghetti aglio e olio w/ grilled dory fish, scrambled eggs & croissant w/ crispy bacon (added a sausage), latte and a smoothie. The grilled dory was nicely cooked and not too oily. The croissant was our favourite, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, paired with nicely cooked scrambled eggs and bacon.

don’t have any pictures to back it up but when we ordered the club pancakes, there was a moving ant on the pancake and one stuck in the maple syrup provided. they provided exchange but the maple syrup still had the ant stuck on the small cup they give it in. Food otherwise tasted great and price is normal of a cafe. Hygiene would be a key pointer as there r seats directly outside the toilet, and the smell coming can be quite a turn off for a few people if the place is packed.

i was disappointed with my Shakshouka. i felt the base was more like tin can bean and put tomatoes into it. and is not much gravy. but their waffles were good enough to bring back the stars up. The staff was friendly and kind. environment is good for chatting.
