@crossroads.sg locates at the lobby floor of Marriott Hotel Tang Plaza. Other than accessible location, service and food wise just decent and waiting time for food take ages to be served even though I visited at 11am and there's only 2 tables ahead of me. Tried The Marriott Burger which is suppose the signature food item here but leave me rather disappointed. With the price I would expect better in taste and quality. Though I had ordered "medium" for the beef, it arrived more like "well done" resulting it to be very dry in texture and there's no sauce in the burger hence making overall eating even drier. Love coming here because standards are always consistently high. Mushroom soup is made from a combination of mushrooms to give it a really wonderful flavour. The bread was lightly toasted and fun to tear apart and dip in the soup. Pot of mussels looked like a new addition to the menu. Plump juicy green lipped mussels in a sauce that was a tad too creamy. The steak was the best! Really tasty . And the black pepper sauce had punch Service is always friendly and efficient . The ambiance is really relaxed. Even though there is no air conditioning and it is sheltered, the restaurant is open on all sides at street level. Always entertaining to people watch Carparking is expensive but then this is the heart of Orchard Road

Had the buffet lunch here. Menu is extensive, covers Indian Chinese and Malay cuisine. Food was good and nicely presented. The wait staff is very attentive and courteous. You are sure to have a great meal in a soothing ambience.

For many years, this place had been a great venue to watch the world go byโ€ฆ I reckon the dining experience could have been better as both the Marriott and Angus Burger were too salty. Salt and pepper Calamari was salty as well. Service was so-so and they looked understaff. Also please do something about the birds issue within the cafe.

Itโ€™s been a while I have a buffet meal and this is really good. The fresh and sweet lobster and snow crab make the buffet very worthwhile. Their other dishes are also very good and enjoyable. The environment is also very relaxing to wind down on a Saturday. Donโ€™t forget a cuppa of fantastic coffee which is part of the buffet to seal the meal.

The service was excellent. Quality of food was above average. But not enough variety. Went for Sunday dinner but no oyster. Started serving snow crab quite late. Donโ€™t provide free parking.

Went for lunch and had the chicken and pan seared halibut. Halibut was fresh, albeit a little small while the portion of the chicken was really big. Food tasted great overall although a little salty for my liking. The waiting time was quite long too even though it was rather empty.

Some foods were good and offered a wide variety of choices. Service was excellent! The free flow of champagne added to the dining experience and made it more enjoyable.

Its our second time here and still never disappoints. The variety of food is overwhelming. Seafood is overflowing. They keep on replenishing the seafood bar. Meat section is superb. They even have a plant-based section (very inclusive) Atmosphere is cozy and clean. Its inside Marriot hotel orchard :) Service is very good. The reception/cashier greets us with a smile. 4 thumbs up (including my foot thumb)

A great venue to watch to world goes by. Had the wagyu burger, calamari and ice cream today. The wagyu burger was really large, 2 patties, greens, tomatoes and a gherkin between bun, have to say that was the highlight of my meal. Ice cream and calamari were unfortunately just ordinary

I cant remember how many times i passed by this place and im always tempted to eat here until finally i did one rainy noon...yesterday! Great for unwinding and looking at those passers by. My husband ordered burger and mine was chicken rice. Yes, chicken rice! Its a bit pricey, the most expensive i ever had for a chicken rice but no regrets. I liked it. I finished the serving and to think that i rarely finish a bowl of rice, it meant the food was yummy! The burger patty was juicy. The portion was quite big but just right for man's tummy ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Had a lunch buffet at the SG Marriott Crossroads cafe. I believe they have just started buffet menu recently again. Sadly to say, the experience there wasn't a really enjoyable one. Some dishes were not tagged with names and hence, did not dare to try as afraid of food allergies. Prawns weren't deveined leaving some gritty after-taste..I guess they can do better than that.. The desserts were okay but given that the whole area was rather warm.. the desserts werent too cold as well. The whole time in the cafe , it felt like in a cooled-down sauna. Was perspiring the whole time.. Certainly need some improvements.

Went for buffet lunch on a Thursday, to be frank selections are limited - seafood is disappointing (crab has no taste). Meat options are okay, the pork ribs are delightful. Desserts are also average, nothing to shoutout about. However, must commend on the fantastic service by the crew, all are friendly and attentive.

Buffet selection is decent. Have salads, cold cuts, cheese platter, ice seafood, local hot food, festive meat selection of beef and lamb, 3 type pasta and desserts. Ended with twg tea and coffee. Due to eatigo promo, price was 50%. Grilled lamb and beef was tough and dried. Not much help from the sauces. Movenpick Ice cream is serve here.

We were here with our youngest for a Valentineโ€™s Day lunch celebration. Reservations was easily done and confirmed via online. We arrived slightly late but our table was ready. Restaurant was slightly busy with the lunch crowd streaming in Buffet spread was pretty decent and of good quality. We liked the cold lobster pincer. Only missing piece was oysters - they should serve them given the price point. Asian offering was not that great. My partner liked the HK roast duck, Indian cuisine offering was limited Pasta was good. Only grouse is I ordered white wine sauce but it came with a cream sauce Dessert spread was quite wide. Do save space for dessert, i did not and really regretted it. They serve freshly brewed coffee and tea with the buffet. This is a major plus!

Had the seafood buffet lunch. Price was on the higher side but dishes served were premium. Like the lobster claws, Alaskan crab legs etc. Asian food was tasty and the laksa was superb. Service was fairly good. A little on the down side is the area where I was seated was a little stuffy and hot. Overall it was a good experience

Great selection. Local, HK Tim Sum, and other choices. Juice and fruit selections are also plentiful. Quiet in early morning on a Saturday, but gets crowded after 8:30am for buffet breakfast.

The dinner buffet was truly one of the most value for money at $79++ with 20% discount. The lobsters and crab legs are delicious where you can eat in its original version or you can ask the chef to cook for you in any one of the 3 sauces. There was an Irish beef promotion going on and needless to say the various beef cuts were very tasty. The Chinese and other western dishes like kungbao chicken, char Siew, grill lamb, fish in hollandaise sauce are quite gd too. The desserts were another power section with several gelato flavors, crรจme brรปlรฉe to Chinese ones like tai Shan and black glutinous rice. The cakes and the durian panacotta were very tasty. What marred the whole experience was the area was very warm which warranted the 1 star down grade. The section facing the hotel lobby was cool while the area near to its alfresco section was unbearably warm. The front desk lady explained the air condition had failed. Unfortunately the portable ones were not helping in anyway as they were blowing warm air as well. To the restaurant mgnt: please close that section instead of letting diners suffer.

Stick to the beer and wine offerings at this bar because when it comes to shaking a cocktail, they seem to miss the mark entirely. As an avid fan of a well-made martini, I was disappointed to find that their standard martini falls short in both quantity and value. While a typical martini measures around 90ml, this establishment only serves half of that for full price, leaving much to be desired. On a positive note, the ambiance of this bar is on par with what one would expect from a hotel setting. It exudes a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, creating an enjoyable environment for patrons to relax and unwind. However, when it comes to seeking a satisfying drink experience, this place should not be your first, or even third choice. With so many other remarkable options available, itโ€™s best to explore the multitude of other establishments that offer superior libations. Unfortunately, this bar fails to live up to that standard. For a truly memorable drinking experience, I recommend venturing elsewhere to discover the wealth of exceptional watering holes in the area.

Dining with a view, watching the world pass by at the corner of Orchard Road. I have been vast improvements to their menu offers. Ordered the roast chicken leg and lobster laksa during this trip. The chicken was really tender and basted in a savory brown sauce topped with mixed salad. The lobster laksa was very thick and creamy, and was quite filling. The gravy was soaked by the noodles quite quickly, so donโ€™t be afraid to ask for more gravy to top up your meal.

Great place to hang out and chill in Orchard area. They have quite a big menu, with more Sharing Plates items when you come in the evening :) My personal favs would be the Swedish Meatballs and Wagyu Sando!

Crossroads Cafe is situated by the sidewalk and at first glance itโ€™s too hot and humid. But after settling in, the giant fans provide a nice breeze and you can do a lot of people watching here! The food a slightly above average but the service is super slowโ€ฆ. Pics from my multiple trips!

Roped off entrance with no staff in sight for entrance .. short wait then the bartender waved to enter. Took a while to get a menu then order. Food was nice and drinks were good. Service was a let down for such a nice place that charges for service.

Waited for quite long for the food to be served but they served all dish together. Staff are quite friendly. Food wise are quote normal...nothing special.. However when we come to claim the Marriot e-voucher, there is some issue. Even we've confirmed an e -voucher will be acceptable however the front desk manager said need the Marriott card number in order to redeem the voucher. Ended up we've to pay via credit card .. and was very warm sitting outdoor by explaining for so long.

Located at lobby of Marriot Hotel. Crossroads offer a good variety of food in its buffet. Lunch buffet is at 20% discount until 30th November. Just remember to make your reservations. Food is overall not bad. There are some good ones and bad ones. Roasted delights were not bad. Wagyu rump, pork ribs were good. Indian cuisine which was the biryani rice and the curry that came along with it was good. Tempura was average. Laksa was okay, gravy felt a little diluted. Salad was great, many vege options and many dressings to go along. Breads, cheeses and ham were all good. The best section to me would be the desserts. Really love the desserts. Paid $125 for 2 pax

had a great experience dining in Crossroads Cafe this afternoon, to celebrate mumโ€™s coming of year. Food choices were plenty with good variations at each station. Service staff at these stations were patient, polite and executed their stations profesionally. Foods were topped up quickly. Service and wait staff at the lobby were also a gem and executed their duties professionally. Requests were met with pleasant nods and smiles and attended to quickly. Thank You, very much, Crossroads Cafe, for a amazing dining experience and thoughtful gesture of surprising my mum with a birthday cake.

Ordered penne bolongnese. Nothing much to complain or comment on. It's a bit pricey (I think about 25SGD?), so value to taste wise, would think it's not worth. Service was tad bit slow, but I must say they seemed a bit shorthanded so really can't be helped. The staff were friendly though.

A Canadian friend told me the place was closing down end of March 2022. He wanted to have a drink to say goodbye. Wonderful ambience and not too noisy, even though it was open air with bustling crowd shuffling around Tang Plaza, this iconic corner of Orchard Road. Fried squid rings and spicy chicken wings were crispy and went well with our drinks.

Place was crowded on weekend dinner but did not have to wait for long for a seat. Ordered the steak sandwich and beef cheeks. Steak in the sandwich came in sliced form which made it easier to eat. The mix of caramelized onion, cheese and portobello mushrooms balanced the sandwich very well. Beef cheeks were well cooked both in texture and the flavor. They were so soft and full of flavor. The shoestring fries were crispy and well salted. The ambience and service were good. Crossroad buffet - decent buffet with reasonable prices - has Boston lobsters, stone crab claws, prawns, beef roast, roast meats and many others. Worth a try.

Good service, good food. Lack one star because the steak looks good, is good but not phenomenal. Current offer is a free bottle of wine with the T-bone that's 800g-1kg. It's a good place for people watching if you sit close to the edge.

Got a lesser than a Mamak experience. Super rude unfriendly staff. Visited on 29/04/2023 about 1745 hours to 1757 hours. Unbelievable. Horrific. Was trying to get a drink or two here but upon reaching the entrance, saw the notice that says " please wait to be seated" Waited for about a minute or 2 then made eye contact with one of the staff. Oh ya they were busy. But didn't even have the courtesy to come over to greet us. Just holding on to his tray and i signalled for 2. He pointed to the bar but i shouted that i want to be seated at the dining area. He just waved his hands saying no more place and by this time he was leaving without giving us options or even suggestions. Then i shouted cos he wasn't budging and i asked if there's any seat inside..then we walked to the bar entrance and seemed like waiting for something there. Waited for about 1 minute or so ... Then we left. Then i saw an empty table there. What does it mean? Lazy staff, lazy management? Or is business too good? Then i approached another staff at the end counter for the GM/Manager's name..he looked at me, and nonchalantly uttered Alvin. Without even asking what's it all about. F&B service by a top tier hotel operator at it's worst. ROFL Oh i didn't manage to spend any money there just simply ticked it as Google review needs it.

I was there for the very first time and I was blown away by the so-called โ€˜excellent 5-star serviceโ€™. It seemed like the restaurant was understaffed as I often had to follow up multiple times on our orders. The most impressive experience was when the waiter shouted at my sister and rudely questioned why she couldn't wait, even though she simply wanted to check the bill after paying. I always believed that you value and respect every customer who walks into your restaurant, regardless of their identity. Bravo, truly top-notch service, if you ask me.
