A nice place to chill on a Friday with friends. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating and I would recommend that you make a reservation before you go cos on Fridays and weekends this places get really busy and it will be difficult to get a table when you walk in. They have pretty good happy hour deals for beer and also some all night deals. The food here was good and reasonable. The staff is super attentive, friendly and supportive. Definitely recommend this place if you want to have a chilled weekend with a nice vibe.

Vibrant space, both indoors and out. The happy hour pricing is reasonable for the area (for example, a pint of Heineken is $10), but the service was slow. Staff were friendly but had to be found to get our orders in on a few occasions.

Some foods are really nice. Family nan is so huge and very nice. Can share many people. Butter chicken sauce is very good, chickpea sauce a bit salty. We stayed there from lunch and follow by dinner, enjoyable day

Blu Jaz Cafe has good ambience and food. I am extremely pleased with their efficient and fast service. Their food is flavourful and enriched with spices. They offer different cuisines such as western and indian. They offer many vegetarian options. However, when you check their website you are dragged into the trap of thinking they have a Mediterranean menu. In reality, they do not offer the Mediterranean menu. They should improve by updating the website. I recommend the chole, kadai paneer, mozzarella sticks, pakora platter and masala pap-pad. But the real star was the 'family naan. It was enormous and apparently it is the largest naan in southeast asia. It is thin, crispy and filled with zing. Overall, a great place and would definitely recommend.

Went for a jazz night and really enjoyed it. Great music, affordable drinks (a bottle of Prosecco was $60), and good pizza ($9 - $13 per slice, slices are rectangular and very big). Staff was friendly and there was a really good atmosphere, more intimate and very different from the first floor (club) and ground floor (bar and restaurant).

Food quality was kinda ((okay)). They really catered to the people who drink tbh. Unfortunately had to keep asking for the status for one of the food orders multiple times. Iirc the table next to us also had a similar issue. Staff seems busy serving the different tables and friendly when asked for directions to the washroom. Overall it’s a decent establishment but wouldn’t recommend if you’re not really a drinker.

One of my favourite places to hang out and chill around Haji Lane. The ambiance is very cheerful and colorful. The food is nice. They have alot of drink promotion ongoing if you are looking for any - that's your place. The service is ok. Of course it's no more life music over there but I'm still coming over time to time to enjoy the night. Cheers.

Good food, better atmosphere and vibe. Good service. Has Western local and Indian cuisine. Enjoy the buzz around the place with graffiti, lights and energy and laughter of people. Has a good array of drinks on menu

It's a big place on Bali Lane. Food is very tasty but a bit pricey. One of my friends asked for no spicy food but still had problems eating the dish due to it being too spicy. No ideea if our request got to the chef or not. Good vibes overall. Although if you prefer a quite place, this is definitely not it.

The pub itself is really really cute! Kinda hidden too. I accidentally found this pub when we tried to find lunch and we didn't regret it a bit. We ordered one slice of margaritha pizza and fish and chips! The pizza was really fresh and big for one slice. So, you can split it with your friend or so. The fish and chips was the best! The crispiness, the freshness, the sauce, everything's compliment eachother! I highly recommend you to order their fish and chips!

Nice atmosphere and love being able to sit outside. Only reason it's not 5* is that I spilt my drink (just an ice tea) and they saw but didn't try to help me clear it up or stop it pouring off the side of the table. Would have appreciated some help or a cloth or something!

Great place to enjoy drinks, bites, and live music. We visited on a Wednesday night and the place was not too crowded. The musicians were really talented - the vibe was immaculate. Food wise, I recommend the beef burger and Mozzarella cheese sticks. The cosmopolitan and chocolate martini was yummy but the portion was very small. The place is a bit loud so if you want to talk, better to sit outdoors.

Back in Singapore for the first time since COVID. Came here as a walk by. It has a very eclectic menu, but everything we had was very good indeed. It's a hidden cool vibe venue at the end of an alley off Arab St. It restored our faith in Singaporean food scene. So many high end restaurants have priced themselves out of the marked if you are not a billionaire, and the hawker centres seem to have lost the plot in terms of quality and innovation. COVID did so much damage. In keeping with the menu, we had marinara aglio olio, prosciutto and melon, crispy skin salmon and chole batura. The marinara was easily 10/10, the best dish we've had in Singapore. We were served by Jalou, and she was very helpful and friendly. I'm sure she will be just as good for you. The marinara and prosciutto and melon were easily 10/10 - superb. If you are a fan of these dishes you'll know what I mean. The chole batura was excellent, but I would have preferred the batura to be a little more firm and crispy to assist 'scooping' the chole. Flavours in the chole were delicious. Heat and spice was great. My wife reports that the crispy skin salmon was beautiful, creamy flesh, well cooked with suitably crispy skin. Drink prices were ok, with a generous happy hour arrangement. Overall one of our best food experiences in Singapore.

$10 happy hour drinks and funky vibes at the end of Haji Lane. Full of foreigners getting lit on a weekday. Service could have been better, but it's good to just have low standards. Otherwise, had a fantastic time! Food was pretty good.

Cozy & artistic bar with live music & jams. However the conditions are going down, and the smell along staircase are unwelcome. Toilet is surprisingly clean though. Hope it could be better.

The ambiance of the place is good especially with the nice mural artworks! The service is overall good as well as the staff are very attentive. Ordered a couple of food (ribs, sausage platter, truffle fries) and cocktail drinks (mojito, frozen margarita, cuba libre, martini). Please move away from ordering the cocktail drinks and ribs as these are not really good (quality and taste) considering the price point. If you’re planning to visit the place, I’s suggest to order the beer and fried food as you can’t go wrong with them.

Great place to stop for a drink when the weather’s not too hot. Outdoor seating is nice if there’s not much crowds. Usually it gets a lot busier at night! Most people get the beer during the happy hours. Other than beer they also serve a variety of drinks. Staffs are quite attentive. Good service in general. There’s also a lot of small shops around this area if you have time to explore.

Good North Indian food, including Chole bhatura and pav bhaji. Good cocktails. Lovely ambience. At the second floor, sometimes they have DJ, which was also pretty good.

Really like the location just off Haji Lane. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the food. Everyone on the table had the steak sandwich, I expected the waiter to ask how the steak would be cooked but didn't think anything of it. When the food arrived, the sandwich was a slither of brown over cooked meat, the same thickness as bacon, that for $17 was really poor, menu specified grilled Angus steak, it was not. As it started to chuck it down with rain, it was hard to grab someone to help with the disappointment. We did come for lunch, so maybe that was a bad decision.

Was fortunate to arrive just before the rain. Still sat outside under the awning, keeping us dry. A fave place of ours tucked away in the side street. Live the frozen Margaritas. Didn't eat this time, but the food is always good!

Nice place, good service staff and good food all round. Butter chicken is a must try. The spaghetti carbonara was a miss, a bit on too bland for our liking but served with lots of crispy pancetta. The grilled squid, pizzas are good too. Will go back for the butter chicken n Beer!!

This street is an amazing display of street art, I was in awe of the awesome murals that were painted on the walls so had to take a picture of a few. A must visit for anyone who likes walking around and seeing street art. There are a lot of nice restaurant's and bars around this area so good to visit in the evening time and enjoy a few drinks while exploring.

We booked a table but the table was not reserved and they did not seem to care very much. When we booked there was also no reference to buying tickets but since this ticket money is ‘allegedly’ for the band, we did not mind to support them. The place is great, interesting decor and pleasant atmosphere. Just a shame that they do not honour their bookings.

Kool place nice ambience for evening drinks may be. Had visited the place for lunch, service suks, even though there were just 3 customers the staff deliberatly ignores you. Take a long time to serve and despite taking long time serve, the food served is cold. My first and last time there.

Blu Jaz is one of those places near Arab Street that’s always happening irrespective of the day. Over the weekends, it’s obviously buzzing even more. For me the best part of this place is that the kitchen serves multiple cuisines; I can try Indian, continental or Asian food while chilling in the same place. Ambience - 9/10 Service - 9/10 Cost - 8/10 Though this place has a lot of regulars, it’s a fun place to be in the evenings or late nights. I would definitely recommend this place for a drink (Beer is for an average of S$10) if you happen to be around Arab Street!

I used to come there for a live music but nowadays its no a chance to find that in SG duo to current situation. other than that it is still a great place to spend the day or eve at haji lane. Food and drinks are delicious and service is just right! They have some outgoing promotions and happy hours till 20.00pm ! It is actually getting a big problem in SG to find a good service today so thank you guys for all your excellent job yesterday. definitely will be back soon! cheers!

I heard from my friend that the service and food here is friendly and nice. So decide to bring my family here to enjoy. But, a server name Regina(a chinese, tall, skin lady) totally spoilt my mood. While ordering my food, I did told another server(young lady) that we wanna serve our dessert "later" (after food). Then I think they ownself have miscommunication and they serve our dessert before our drink😔 we tell them that we have already special request serve later. Then they send back the dessert. A few seconds later, this Regina send out the dessert again and "throw" on our table said she already "fire" the dessert. Then I told her we already said serve later. But she insist that can't send back and said just 2 pieces of cake with ice-cream(which mean, ask us don't trouble her to send back or make again!!! ) Her attitude really bad. Luckily the manager beside her ask her to send back kitchen. After we finished our food, we ask to fire the dessert, there she comes again and "throw" the dessert on our table AGAIN!! What happen to you Regina? If you can't serve your customers well on the day(personal reasons or what reason) there are still have other servers, why don't you ask them to serve? Work in FNB please don't bring your personal emotions to your work. Manager please look into the matter. And the SOP of taking order from customer is not right. If the young server have problem on memory the orders, please ask her take down the orders with pen and paper, repeat the order to customers to ensure the orders are correct. Thank you. Best regards, Hua

Avoid their cocktails! Cos they tasted like mocktails. Haven't been here for awhile. Decided to stop by to get a drink. Ordered some cocktails and we couldn't taste any alcohol. My estimate is the alcohol content is less than 4%. My advice for people who want to go there for drinks get bottled beer or alcohol where the alcohol content is more consistent. For bang for the buck, go for soju with at least 12% alcohol content, which is almost the same price as their cocktail that don't have much alcohol in it.
