Best prata in Singapore. I used to like the one at Roti Prata House but this is even better. Try the coin prata. It’s super crispy on the outside. Ordered the mutton curry as well. It’s really good. The plain prata and paper prata also lived up to expectations. Enjoyed the ginger milk tea with zero sugar. Whenever I’m craving for prata, I will definitely think of Sin Ming Roti Prata.

Located at a coffee shop, paynow/paylah options available if you forgot your cash. Went around 8ish, didn’t have to queue long. There were many selections on the menu but we went with the kosong and egg prata, ordered an extra side of curry with chicken breast. Totally get the hype - freshly made upon ordering, it was fluffy and crispy, not as oily as expected. The curry might be spicy for those who can’t take spicy food and the chicken breast was juicy and tender. If you need more curry, just walk over and request for a refill.

Overall, I feel that the prata is not particularly outstanding. However, their gravy is definitely above average. Very flavourful but also very spicy. In fact a little too spicy for me. Mutton is quite tender. The coin prata is very crispy and I believe they are famous for it. Total damage is $16 which I thought is quite pricey although they gave a generous amount of mutton.

    - If you are driving, be prepared to wait as there are limited lots - If you are waiting for the lots, be prepared that the delivery vans will snatch your lots - if you are going ard lunch time, best is to turn on some soothing music as your blood pressure will surely go up Sing Ming prata - Really not worth the wait. - their cheese prata looks more like normal prata with yellow colouring. There is no cheese taste at all - Their famous coin prata. Well...it's nice when you are hungry. But nothing special after a few bites - Their gravy is sweet and a tad salty, first taste is good, subsequent taste is bleh.. The kopitiam - severely lack of sitting arrangement - avoid sitting near the tray return area as the staff treat it like some 11.11 sales, throwing the plates and cutleries into the bin, as if cny is happening the next second. - the chicken rice stalls seems to have super long queue. And there will be inconsiderate customers who talk loudly while not wearing mask My 2 cents Will probably go again (maybe lah, if really no choice) , maybe in a year or two? Or 3??? Nothing to shout about. Better go elsewhere and have a nice peaceful relaxing meal.

The BEST Coin Prata EVER If I have to choose only ONE shop in Singapore where I will go to eat Prata it would be at Sin Ming Roti Prata. It took about 10 minutes from the time we ordered, that they pulled and rolled and crafted the dough into fresh crispy, flaky coin shaped divine mouthfuls. Although it tasted quite wonderful by itself, dipped into spicy but not too hot mutton or chicken curry was absolutely delicious The mutton pieces were surprisingly super soft and there were lots of meat (both mutton and chicken ) on the two bowls that we ordered. This place is an unmissable experience!!!

Genuinely feel like this place is being slept on when it comes to one of the BEST PRATA PLACES! Having these coin prata at Sin Ming Roti Prata for breakfast might have been the best decision ever. These crispy bite-sized treats are freshly made to order, so they stay hot and flaky without being too greasy! The best part is the layers within are still soft and chewy even though it's cooled down a little after all the photo-taking. 🤭⁣ ⁣ Personally think the curry is equally important when it comes to good prata, but the chicken curry here is the gao gao, savoury type perfect for dipping your pratas into! The meat was fork-tender, and the moderate spice level wasn't overpowering! Was told that their fish curry is even better, so I guess that's something to look forward to in my next visit! 10/10 would return for a prata fix over that one place with the best (?) crispy prata if I pop by the Upper Thomson area (#iykyk)! 💯⁣ ⁣ P.S.: Go during off-peak hours to avoid the queue. ⁣ .⁣ 📍 Address: 24 Sin Ming Rd, Gim Huat Coffeeshop, #01-51, Singapore 570024, 6.30 am - 6 pm.⁣

Expect queues even early morning. Crispy and crunchy, love the gravy. Famous Prata are in coin shapes.

Came to this Gim Huat Coffeeshop as there are two famous food stalls here - one of them is this Sin Ming Roti Prata. Though there is a queue, the wait wasn’t long. The speed at which they churn out the deliciously perfect prata is amazing. If you like small crispy bites, then you definitely have to try their coin prata. My favourite is usually the egg and plain prata, and theirs have that crisp on the outside and fluff on the inside. The punch is the fish curry sauce which is tangy and spicy. I like to get their fried fish to go with the seemingly simple but very satisfying prata.

This place serves the best coin prata and mutton curry combo: The prata is perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, curry spicy and richly spiced. Thomson area is known for its abundance of prata shops, but none comes near in rivaling this. Just be prepared to queue and parking can be a pain especially during weekends.

Nice decent prata. The egg prata was good, plain prata not bad, just wish it's a bit more crispy. The given curry was ok, spicy enough but a bit on the sweeter side. Overall good stall to visit if you crave prata. They have other variations of prata and also other indian-muslim food you can choose from. Maybe next time will try those.

Never expected prata to be this was "light", the egg was nicely incorporated with lots of air such that the end product was puffy light on the inside with some crisp on the outside. The curry was good too, just the right amount of spice with a tad of sour. Will come again for sure!

Long queue on a Saturday morning but moves fairly fast. Had a plaster prata and plain prata with chicken curry. The prata was alright and dough fried well. However, the curry was too salty. Overall not worth the wait.

Coin prata ($4.50) - crispy and freshly prepared. Almost like a biscuit in texture. Could be a little softer and more buttery. Warm spicy and slightly sweet curry.

The dough overall are slightly too sweet and the curry was abit too spicy. Overall the crispiness of the prata is the best so far I have tasted in Singapore, is not too dry and will come again

I had to tabao as it was difficult to get a seat. Such is the popularity of this prata stall. This is what it looks like drenched in gravy ; the way I like it. I can’t comment on the crispiness of it. Gravy was too salty and sweet for my liking though. Update: Eating there is a better experience. Crispy prata but the curry is still salty/ sweet.

I tried the prata kosong. It was not what I had read about in reviews as it had a little hard texture, although the surface layer was crispy. The fish curry was thick with a deep flavour. I'd like it a little thinner, but it's just a personal preference. Overall, it tasted quite good

An unassuming prata shop but one of the best prata I've had! Coin prata is a must order, love how crispy it is. Plain prata is flaky and egg prata is soft and pillowy. The fish curry here is so good. So flavourful and can get free refills. There's usually a queue, it's quite an okay queue, about 15 mins. Definitely coming again!

Easily one of the BEST Prata! Crispy on the outside, chewy on every bite. You have that balance of crispiness and the doughs chewiness. Everything is well cooked and left the pan at the right timing. The magic complimenting the prata is the savoury sauce, curry... Yum yum! Must EAT! Hidden gem in a coffeeshop!

Oh my, the prata here is absolutely incredible. The coin prata has a texture almost like a croissant – chewy yet crispy – and is a must-try. I also ordered their chicken, and yes, it was awesome. Coming here for breakfast before work was a delightful experience. This place is definitely a hit for me.

One of the best if not the best roti prata I have tried in Singapore. The coin prata was crispy and fragrant, and the plain prata was equally crispy with slight chewiness. The curry has a hint of tangy taste. Overall a nice combination.

Awesome coin prata. Hard to find but you feel so local. Would come back for sure. The curry is also super flavourful.

Was having lunch at the same coffeeshop as this roti prata stall. Noticed that there many people ordering from this stall and decided to try their food since i am already here. Upon reaching, there was at least 7 people waiting patiently at the side for their food to be ready. Noticed many people order their coin prata and decided to follow suit. Paid SGD$4.50 for my meal, they do accept cashless payment here. Apart from the prata, they also sell other dishes like murtabark and biryani. Food didn't take long to be ready. However, i was a little disappointed when I received my food as of the coin prata was burnt. Not only that, had to ask them before i was given a plate of curry. Prata wasn't crispy as i thought it would be, in fact, it was quite doughy. Flavor wise, still acceptable. Understand that this is quite a famous stall, but the experience so far has been quite overrated.

Set in a coffee shop, you have to share the seating with smoking and non-smoking areas. This Michelin bib gourmand award lives up to its reputation. The owner's son has taken over the operations and improve on the speed of service. Worth a try.

Very overrated roti Prata. Please don't waste time queuing on weekend totally not worth it. Roti Prata kosong and egg is not crispy at all. Gravy is good. The charcoal bread at the coffee shop is also very average not worth making a trip down

Crispy and fluffy pratas. One of my favorite pratas in Singapore. Be sure to come before the lunch crowd.

One of the best prata I’ve tried! Crisp and flaky prata served with tender chicken curry, the curry was the perfect density to soak into the delicious prata. If you love eating authentic street food with locals this is the spot! Lucky for us, there was no queue so food was served within minutes. Highly recommend.

It's a hidden find tucked away under an hdb block coffee shop. They have their strong following of regulars, so expect a long queue, especially during weekends. My favourite is egg onion chilli prata. The green chilli gives an extra ummph! They offer a large variety of pratas, coin prata being a popular novelty. Their curries are a must try to.

This is located in a coffee beside the 2 storey carpark. We came at about 2.45pm hence we didn’t have to queue. Food was served fast. Special recommendation is their coin prata set (small has 6 pieces). It’s really crispy and the fish curry was spicy and good.

Best prata I ever had! Busy around lunch time - I waited about 15 minutes on Sunday. Coin prata and fish curry are a must. Special lamb curry was very nice too. Got garlic and cheese prata also - crispy/fluffy and very tasty like everything else. Worth a trip, doesn’t matter where you are in SG. Good kaya toast and carrot cake at neighboring stalls.

Coin prata was good and crispy with a dash of sugar, best I’ve had. Mutton was tough, won’t recommend. Curry is on the spicier side, very fragrant. Other prata are of a decent standard.

Really nice! The prata is tasty 👅 and savoury. The coin prata is crispy on the outside, the fish curry also super good! Always long queue one! Must try! Highly recommended!

Sin Ming Roti Prata serves up very well done pratas in a coffeeshop that has a decent selection of foods. Their menu is extensive boasting 19 different sorts of prata (whether they are available all day, I'm not sure)! Ordered 1 egg and 1 kosong today and paid $3.30 for that. A look at their cooking process shows 4 people around the prata grill, 2 'shapers' and the main prata-flipper whom I assume is the boss, leading his other subordinate over the grill. They also seem to cook it slower, and with less oil used compared to other establishments. The kosong was served fluffed up, whilst having a decent enough amount of crispy parts. The egg prata felt like i was biting into a soft pillow of dough and egg. Very enjoyable indeed! Their dough has a tinge of sweetness to it too - I would know since I have my pratas without sugar or curry. Honestly, they are one of the better prata shops around, and their daily morning crowd is proof of that. @goodfoodwrite - instagram & YouTube

Food wise, the mutton curry was slightly underwhelming and on the tougher side and curry was a bit tangy than expected. All items are cheap but would suggest going to your local Hawker centre. They make a lovely coin prata (crispy, fresh and a little doughy on the inside) but not worth the travel unless you are in the area. Service was quick today (Monday afternoon) and plenty seating available at the centre.

Prata perfection ! Sin Ming really does the coin prata well ! Crispy on the outside and still the chewy texture inside . Lamb curry was nice but not too many pieces of meat . I ordered chicken curry … one big chunk of breast meat and very flavourful curry .

Very long queue better come early. Tried the chicken floss, coin and original prata, all very crispy. On slightly oily side. Can order this first then only kaya toast so both will serve hot.
