This rustic cafe sits in the corner of mid Prinsep street with comfortable chill vibes. It makes a perfect place for catching up , in fact we have to wait for about 15mins when we arrived around 1 o’clock on Saturday. While the food here are up to normal cafe standards and definitely looks Instagrammable, I must say their cold brew coffee impresses my taste buds more - recommend trying their sea salt caramel and white magic.

Can I just announce how much I love the truffle fries here? The fries are always perfectly crispy and the garlic aioli dipping sauce is probably one of the best I’ve had. Staff here are also really friendly, and the coffee is pretty decent. Tried the carbonara/truffle capellini and it’s pretty average, but I’d recommend the strawberry waffles/berry ricotta hotcake😋 portions are generous too! Love the decor and the airiness of the place - it’s definitely one of my go-to places to chill on my days off work. Grab a friend to share their huge portion of truffle fries with and sit down for an iced coffee or two - you’ll be served well and leave with satisfied tummies for sure.

Visit this cafe many times, good location and nice rustic decor with comfortable seating . Coffee was fantastic, especially the flat white with ice cream, food and dessert was good with big portions. Although everything was great but cleanliness should be improved as I noticed some corners and sofa area are dusty. Anyway, definitely will come back again!

Just a short walk from the hotel, I popped into Curious Palette for brunch. It’s an expat hotspot serving coffee and western inspired dishes. The coffee was great but the avo eggs was just okay. Nice venue to catch up with friends

Been almost 8years since I last visited this cafe when they were at the west side. Came for dinner and the cafe was not even half full, which made the place conducive for a nice catch up with friends. Service was good and friendly. Food wise, starters are nice. Spam fries and mushroom were fried perfectly. As for the mains, the mentaiko sambal prawn pasta looked good on photos. But hmm the pasta was overcooked, sooo soft almost like mee sua texture. Didnt really have a bite to it. It was more like a wet pasta. Coffee prices are good. Will visit again for the hotcake/pancake instead.

Weird place to find in the midst of a bunch of tacky bars. Come here for deserts and coffee or for an interesting meal. Pleasantly surprised by the crayfish roll, the fries are also well done. Definitely get the heart of darkness cucumber beer if you’re in the mood for a drink. Chill and hipster vibe.

Buttermilk fried chicken was aromatic and tender. I like that the pulled pork is served with rye toast instead of a white bread. Berry ricotta hotcake was nice for sharing but would prefer option to add more ice cream. Coffee were nice too.

Visited on a public holiday and we were the first customers of the day. We received great hospitality even though we didn't book (reservation is highly encouraged). Occupying the entire corner unit of the shop-house block, the interior is artsy and minimalist. There is a small outdoor section near the entrance. Place is airconditioned. The curious breakfast platter turned out to be pretty ordinary but avo was good. Kids loved the 35mins-waiting-pancake. There is no specialty coffee, drinks (flatwhite, mint mocha) were okay. Pricing was fair.

Mains were tasty, but key lim pie was too sweet for our liking. We were lucky to get a seat at the front of the cafe where the ceiling was lower, as I noticed the main seating area was really noisy. 👍🏼 Free flow water

Randomly discovered this place, and I have to say that it really impressed me. I ordered ☕️ ‘Oatgasm’ and ‘Sea salt chocolate’ as recommended and they were really good. The drink tastes just like what its name indicated and I love it! 🚇 just a little walk from Bencoolen station exit B 📍located in a very artistic area

It’s been on the list for the berry ricotta pancakes, finally I tried it. They are decadent, juicy and well complemented by the berries and ice cream. Maple syrup isn’t really needed, it’s delicious on its own. Definitely for sharing! The coffee is good, the service impeccable.

Had a lovely team lunch at this cafe to kickstart our wonderful Friday afternoon . We had the crayfish roll, buttermilk chicken sando, truffle capellini and waffles. Am pleased that their food standard remained consistent since my last visit years back. Food was served rather quickly as well. The only downside was that we were unable to get through their phone despite calling a few times so we walk-in instead and thankfully there were seats available for 5 pax.

Serves a wide selection of coffee and teas. Their food is decent but depends on what you order. I had the grilled cauliflower salad today which was disappointing. The cauliflower was hardly grilled, and the chef was heavy handed with the dressing.

Lovely and cosy cafe in town! Staffs were very helpful and friendly too. Everything we ordered was great, had no complains. Curious breakfast (5/5): Everything from the toast to scrambled eggs to sautéed mushrooms to potatos to pulled pork etc was soooo good! Mushrooms were well seasoned, potatoes cooked perfect , pulled pork was very well seasoned and prepared. Would order this again! Berry ricotta hotcakes (5/5): This dish takes around 35mins to prepare so do be prepared to wait awhile. I have to say it was worth the wait although we were all very full. Hotcakes were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Pairs very well with their icecream and berries. One of the better hotcakes I've had. Kaya toast with espresso shoyu (5/5): Never knew a simple toast could taste so good. Their kaya is topped with a layer of thick coconut sauce and it makes it so fragrant and tasty. Toast were crispy and soft. Their shoyu is made with espresso beans I believe and gives the eggs a unique and refreshing taste. Their iced flat white and magic coffee was good too. Very fragrant beans and not acidic. Will definitely visit here again!

Nice decor, rustic vibes. Great for hanging out with friends. Went on a Sunday for brunch, and got seats for 2 pax immediately. Overall good food and drinks — especially like the bottled brews. We had white magic and seat salt chocolate. For the curious breakfast they gave too much Rye bread (3 in total). You can ask for lesser if you prefer less carbs.

Nice cafe to hang out with friends. Waffles was delicious, earl grey lavender cake was flavourful but abit too sweet and hard. Generous portion of truffle fries. Unfortunately, the long black was kinda under extracted, giving a sour and thin taste.

No need booking on workday afternoon. Tried the prawn pasta and iced latte. Iced latte is ok, not surprisingly good and not that milky. Prawn pasta is nice but a little bit too oily in the end. Avg $30/pax.

The food was quite flavourful. Everything we ordered was good. Specifically the waffle was great. We ordered the greek yogurt one.

Been to this cafe many years ago. I am glad it is still there. Food wise is good. Like the rustic feel. Popular for their different flavours of cold brew coffee.

A cozy and rustic cafe tucked at a corner around Bencoolen area. Perfect for casual, intimate chats with your loved ones. We tried the ricotta hotcakes and it was warm and spongey, but the berry sauce was a little too sour for our liking.

Delicious food, great vibes and very friendly staff. If you go for brunch I recommend the coconut chia pudding or any of the waffles! For lunch/dinner I'd suggest you try out the vegan Bolognese :)

Had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich; outstanding. And the pulled pork with onsen eggs; good but it was the pickled mustard seeds that gave it the extra zing this dish needed. Most memorable were the buttermilk waffles; possibly the best I’ve tried. Only let down was the service. The buttermilk fried chicken felt like it took too long possibly because it’s fried to order to help keep the quality high. It’s worth the wait.

Fave waffles! This one is more accessible and more spacious than their other branch (Strangers Reunion). Sea salt chocolate still good quality. Service has improved :)

😐 This is ecstatically the best looking amongst the PS Cafes. They have a good selection of food and beverages that some might consider pricey. But their cakes and deserts are very good. It’s a great place to chill in the afternoons and also good for sundowners after a long day. It’s always a pleas...
