I'm used to being somewhat disappointed when my meal arrives and nothing like the photo in the menu, but when the online and menu pics don't do the food justice, that's rare. For once, I cant complain about the value for money. Excellent food, quality ingredients, and portions that will satisfy anyone. I had the Sunny Lovin' eggs with salmon as an extra. Looked like a small portion and had a sausage on the side - mistake! Didn't need that. Look at the photo - not stingy on the salmon. Coffee was nice too. My dining companion had the waffles which were also excellent and a real mountainous portion. The guacamole was an extra. Can't wait to come back - saw the salmon brioche - wow, that's for next time 😊

Rating: 4.3 / 5 stars 🤩 : Comprehensive menu 🤧 : Smallish space and seating, cold service Visited on a Saturday close to noon and there wasn’t much of a crowd nor queue when I arrived. My partner and I were requested to take up a table in the crowded half of the cafe. The other half was intentionally left vacant, I’m guessing to reduce the area the staff has to look after.\ Whilst menus are viewed online with access through a QR code plastered on the tables, guests are required to place their order and make payment at the counter. There was a little bit of guessing regarding this as no explanation was offered upon arrival/seating. The menu selection was fairly wide for any breakfast affair. Coffee arrived within 5 minutes and mains arrived within 10-15 minutes. It was a fair wait for the crowd size. Latte was good - fairly smooth and not over-extracted. Smoke salmon croissant was pleasant as the pastry had the right amount of fluff. The flavour of the filling were a harmonious blend in the mouth. The aglio olio was a little odd. There was abundance of vegetables thrown into the mix, however, I found the addition of black pickled olives to be overpowering. The essence of a true aglio olio seemed to be missing - that I found a little disappointing. Overall, a fairly comfortable way to start the day. However, i wouldn’t bet on it for anything impressive.

Pasta came fast and was finished within 20min as we were hungry. Enquired about my brocoli, was told not prepared yet. And when it was served, it was just placed on the table. Wondered where's the service I paid for. Charred broccoli at $16. Not what I expected, and at that price, not recommended for the serving I received. I can do a better job with a flame torch myself. And the many fingerprints on the plate.... Flate white was good, but don't have Bailey latte I originally requested for.

Unfortunately as a first-time visit for desserts rather than food, it did not live up to its ratings.. Ordered a long black, a hot chocolate, sinful chocolate and ice cream sandwich. None of which was was worth coming back for even if I’m in the area.

Rather cramped cafe serving coffee and light western food. Food’s okay but rather pricey. To be fair it’s probably better known for its coffee which we did not get to try.

🍋 Have tried waffle&ice-cream at a ton of places in SG, and this is definitely one of the best. Super good waffle, and the ice-cream was a huge serving. Coffee was also delicious. Highly recommend.

As a regular patron of Craftsmen Cafe at Clark Quay, I am consistently impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff there, particularly Christine. With each visit, Christine embodies the epitome of friendliness, helpfulness, and hard work. Her warm demeanor and genuine smile greet me upon every arrival, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. Not only does she remember my preferences, such as where I prefer to sit, but she also goes the extra mile to ensure that my visit is nothing short of wonderful. Even during the busiest of times, Christine handles the rush with grace and efficiency, maintaining her professionalism without sacrificing the quality of service. It's evident that she takes pride in her work, and her dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction shines through in every interaction. Thank you, Christine, for consistently making my visits to Craftsmen Cafe so enjoyable! I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to visit this outlet.

Went for tea on a weekday afternoon. Realized the interior was quite new even though the shop was around the area for quite some time. A small but cosy cafe with surprisingly very tasty waffles and comprehensive selection of lattes. Later on then I learnt of it that it was renovated recently. Will visit again when I’m around there at CQ.

Great place! Hubby and I came here with our two daughters (14months and 27months). Christine and Xiaofu greeted us with huge smiles and asked if we needed any baby chairs. They helped us out with it. Later, my older one spilled mango smoothie on the table. Both ladies came over quickly - one with a cloth for the table and one with a mop for the floor. They were swift in cleaning up and making us feel comfortable. We really appreciated it. THE FOOD - it was delicious. We had the fried chicken French toast and waffle with strawberries. Hubby had a chai latte and butterscotch latte. He enjoyed it. We will definitely be coming back again!

Here to try their mains due to 1 for 1 weekday promo (11-2pm) and was not disappointed. Both pastas were a tad too salty for my liking but otherwise flavourful, thick & creamy with generous servings of prawn, ham & mushrooms. Location of cafe is near Yakun, facing En Tong Sen St. Good service even without GST & svc charge.

Takeaway order via a food delivery app for a slice of Tiramisu cake, and first time trying. Opened up the cake box and just by its outlook knew it is not my favourite piece. Unfortunately, too creamy and taste nothing like a good Tiramisu cake. I like it "wet, with taste of "liquor & coffee". Not worth the price of ~$8. Thanks for the update! Edited review: Babycino had too much milk at least should taste coffee in it 😬 For my partner, but since it was the first time trying, I had a drink and it tasted more like drinking hot milk. Ordered at 7+pm.

arrived 730am in the morning, zero customers before us. small crowd after 830-ish. i had the 3-tier Brioche, never have that before. mild spicy chipotle mayo, with the pulled pork (recommended with poached egg)🤤. My friend is having Big breakfast. massive breakfast of everything, for a big eater. taste wise nothing amazing. Recommend 3 tier brioche.

The cafe is a kind of small but fortunately we got a table for a group of 5. The food and dessert is nice. I would recommend you try the waffles here. It is also great that they do not charge GST and service charge. The price on the menu is what you pay. Unfortunately, they do not serve plain water, which was disappointing. I think they need to get more teapots as my friend's teapot originally came without the original cover (was given a small saucer as cover).

very good food and coffee. but not cheap. quite pricey for what it is. burrito was yummy but the chips had a cheese sauce that was not good. staff was very nice but overall good just be mindful of price. make sure to remind them if you are doing the weekday 50% off a main, they might forget!

This coffee place serves better coffee than most chains. In front of clarke quay central you see the signage clearly. The place is filled with folks opening their laptops, working while enjoying their cups. The internet is decent so if you are looking for a working space this place is s good option. The decor is okay, not special, but enough to make it comfortable to sit. Th menu and the focus was more on espresso based drinks so the variety of beans is not as diverse.

Place was a little small, thus should have asked patrons to wait to be seated so that the seating could be efficient (we had 2 guys sitting at a big table for 6 and a guy sitting at a table for 4). Ended up a few customers had to share tables, resulting in very awkward situations. There were quite a few good dishes like the 3-tier brioche (the pic with the egg) and the carbonara. However the coffee was so-so only and the pizza was charred at the bottom.

We came here as it was local to the Park Royal Collection, Pickering. This ended up being our go-to place for breakfasts. Food is excellent, nice atmosphere and set up. For us westerners who like a good quality breakfast, I highly recommend the Craftsman.

A cool place to chill and spend some us-time while watching people on the street. Staffs were also nice. Enjoyed their sumptuous croissant sandwiches very much! The salted caramel latte and the iced chocolate are must-try. Will definitely plan to visit their other outlets.

Their truffle scrambled eggs with croissant are amazing 😍 I also got a butterscotch latte which was nice! My friend got the shrimp pasta which looked good but it was inconvenient with the tail shells still attached. Her taro latte was nice though!

There is some small details where craftsmen crew put onto their food and coffee if you noticed. Saw a cute dinosaur drawing on the Gula Malacca Latte cup servings. The aroma and sweetness of the crafted latte is perfect. And if you are the type of customer who value good and careful packaging for takeaways, this place has done their extra step to make sure there’s not spill on their beverages, with a careful thought. And for the food, the takeaway box presentation is precisely arranged so that it looks closets as if you are doing dine-in. Kudos craftsmen !

This cafe serves good food, reasonably priced, and is at a convenient location! What's not to like? We had the FULL BREAKFAST and SCRAMBLED EGGS & AVOCADO. Both are good and quite a big portion. FUZZY BLUE (red drink in pic) was light and refreshing. SALTED CARAMEL LATTE was a delight and not too sweet. Great experience here. We came on a raining weekend so it wasn't over crowded. The staff was quite efficient. Best of all, this gem is located right by Clark Quay MRT station, perfect for people like me who doesn't own a car, prefers simple route, and still want good food. P.S. there's no additional service charge! What u see on the menu is what you pay! Love the simplicity of it.

Quite a cosy place to chill and dine in. There is a variety of dishes on the menu such as all-day breakfast, waffles, mains, coffee and tea. Eberico Pork Ribs ($29) The meat was a little tough and I needed to chew quite a bit. However the sauce is nice, fries are cripsy and greens are also delicious. Roasted Almond Latte ($6 + $1 for organic soy) I could smell and taste the roasted almond well. The slightly sour aftertaste is not too overpowering. If you crave for a sweeter sip, you can nibble on a small bar of sweet chocolate they graciously provide. Overall a very nice cup of coffee for me. Definitely recommend. There are not a lot of tables so that is something to note.

Nice space with big windows to people watch passerby. Ordered 7 spice iced chai oat latte and hot chai latte. Taste good. It was a pity that the whole category of mocktail isn't available. Please hire more staff during weekend!!! It was a Sunday afternoon (lunch time) when we visited. Surprised that only one staff is working, that poor boy has to do (cashier, coffee & drinks, cleaning, serving, taking orders etc). Service was super inefficient, nobody attend to us for quite sometime until we had to ask for seating ourselves. Very poor first impression. THEN! When my food came, i cut into the croissant and was shock to see such long hair inside of it (super gross). But good thing that they changed a new one for me after the complaint. More & more people came in and the boy clearly couldn’t handle so many chores at once. Can see that his face is quite black and seems like in a bad mood. Overall experience was not great, eventhough food is nice.

Tried their pasta recently — it was ok but the flavours were too strong for my liking. We shared two different pastas (carbonara & truffle mushrooms I think it was) but I would’ve struggled to finish one dish on my own. I’m not a coffee person either so…I’m probably not their intended target customer. That being said, I’ve tried their chai latte before and I remember liking it! Service was ok; cashier was friendly and helpful. I find their stuff pricey though, and with their food not being impressive to me, I will reconsider returning next time.

Came here to get my fix and tryout the chai latte. Here the chai was more milky. So probably not for me. Place was just right outside of the central mall very convenient and accessible. Also sheltered from the mall too. Sign huge so won't miss it one. I had the truffle pasta. Don't quite taste it but I do smell it the truffle and the mushroom was a bit light I like it to be creamier than more shroomy. Cause cannot bite anything . Place was quite and relaxing so. Here and try the other stuff like sandwich next time.

We are disappointed with the services. While we are enjoying coffee the service crew already walking pass few times and glance at our cup... Once we done the cake and coffee and try to get some water before go. The service crew come over to said " I will give you 5 more minutes because peoples are waiting". We are happy to give away the table to other people but you should at least show the professional services to customer with appropriate tones or smiles not black face!

Was a little disappointed after reading so many good reviews about the staff and service here. I found the 2 gals working around noon to be indifferent and robotic. Coffee is indeed better than the chainstores, but at SGD7.38 for a flavored latte, you'll get better quality and service going to a boutique coffeeshop (there's one just down the street). Charges 8% GST on top of a 5% fee for service, which for me was non-existent as I brought my own tumbler and took my coffee to go. The syrup for my butterscotch latte tasted fine, had the right level of sweetness, and did an okay job of masking a mediocre roast. The ambience is nice and the food looks okay, but I prolly won't be coming back to this joint for coffee any time soon
