Easily one of the place that served good roast meats.I will usually order the wanton noodles over here $3.50 SGD. Noodle is springy and charsiew is perfectly roasted. The charsiew is similiar to the one you can find in KL. Darker and more sweeter.

There are lots of local restaurants in Singapore famous for meat, and not all live up to the hype. I think Foong Key delivers for both quality of meat and price. It is good value for money for the amount of meat you get and the quality is pretty consistently good. The char siew roast pork is sweet but not overly so, you can enjoy the meat and not get over powered by the sweetness. The crispy roast pork is tasty but not as juicy as it could be as it’s a little dry, but the crispy texture makes up for it. The roast duck was also juicy and although a little tough, it was enjoyable. You can choose rice or noodles to accompany your meal and although they’re not as good as the meat they complete the meal. If you want an authentic local roast meat meal in Singapore without paying too much, you’ll find it at Foong Key.

Chose this as my last meal before dental appointment nearby. Really good roast. The queue started forming really early. Meat was flavourful, and the chilli compliments the dish well. Noodles did not have akaline taste, and was slightly chewy, which is great. Order all 3 types of meat for the best experience, otherwise you’ll have to do repeat visits (I’d repeat-visit any day)

Roast duck, roast pork and char siew rice ($8) - All 3 meats were good. From earlier visits: Roast duck, roast pork and char siew rice ($8) - All 3 meats were great, especially the char siew, which had a sweet, charred flavour. The roast pork and char siew were tender with a good mix of meat and fat, and the duck was juicy. Roast pork - Perfect. The right combination of meat and fat to make it both firm yet juicy. The crackling skin was crispy, biscuit like and aromatic yet not too thick. It went well with the cilantro. Wanton noodles - Great. The char siew was particularly good - firm and juicy on the inside and sweet burnt flavour on the outside.

Long queue, I don't think it's worth the queue but good roast pork. Really crispy skin and succulent in fat

Went on a weekday at 3.30pm when there was a fresh batch of Char Siew being made. As a lover of fatty Char Siew, I must say this place serves the best Char Siew and Roast Pork in Singapore. Their char siew was glistening and fatty yet not too disgusting that you feel you are just eating oil. The roast pork still had the crisp when biting into it. Not too burnt, but well flavored instead. Wanton Noodles and duck drumstick were normal. If it was better I would have given 5 stars. But I would come down for their char siew and roast pork. Really good!!!

June 2023 review. I find it average overall. The rice is non oily / white normal rice. The char siew/roasted pork taste is okay. And not too fatty nor lean meat. Gravy taste is average. Chili unfortunately only has 1 type. Did not order the roast duck. Overall i rated this 3 out of 5 stars.

Food here is decent. The duck and char siew here is average. I found the char siew too fat for my liking. The wait here is exceedingly long during weekend lunchtime so be prepared. I wouldn't come back again because of the long waiting time.

I order one char sew and roasted crispy pork rice with a small bowel wan ton soup. Total SGD 5. The roasted pork is good and perfectly savory. The char see is too sweet for me. However I can feel the owner put a lot of effort to prepare the char sew. Personally like savory more than sweet. If you like sweeter, come and try. It won’t disappointed you.

Delicious. The roast meat here, though are not the gold standards, are seasoned very well and come with a just right tender texture. It's a bit more expensive than other stores but acceptable. Recommended to come early during lunch time since it can get quite crowded.

Love the roasted pork and duck, for those who can eat spicy MUST try the chilli sauce it’s awesome. Though the environment is not that good (eg sticky floor..) but still a must try if you like roasted food!

Arrived at 10.47am and was 2nd in the queue. By the time I was served, the queue was 10 long. Ordered roast duck drum stick rice with char siew and roast pork. Total damage was $10.70. Realised that owner takes a long time to slice the meat. This is the main reason why the queue is always long. The roast duck was good, its skin paper thin and crispy. The roast pork was a let down, hardly any cackle. The worst was the char siew because the cuts were uneven. You either have a very lean piece or a very fatty piece. The chilli sauce was quite ordinary too and the braised sauce had very little flavour to it when mixed with the rice. Overall not a stall I would queue for half an hour to get my roast meat. But if you are early or if there is no queue, why not.

Lost and found! Formerly at Keong Saik Road, now at Commonwealth Crescent hawker centre! Waited about 30 mins on a rainy Friday morning for the food. Ahead of us a Japanese lady dabao $50 worth of char siew & roast meat rice, many customers dine in and dabao half duck home. Bet those in the never ending line worried about whether the roast duck will be sold out by the time they get to the head of the queue! The roast pork is crisp and salty - the best I have eaten! Char siew is a tad sweet. Foong Kee is only reason we will return to this hawker centre!

Visited this stall after reading about it online and it didn't disappoint. The roasted duck impressed me with its skin with a little crisp while the meat was tender and delicious. Char siew was really sweet while the roast pork was fine as well. The unmistakable charcoal aroma was befitting of its name. Will return again if and when i have craving for good roasted duck.

One of the most popular stalls in this hawker centre. Always have a 10 to 20mins queue during meal hours. Tried the $8 plate that comes with all 3 combinations (duck, roasted pork and char siew). All 3 meats were perfectly roasted over charcoal and very tender. The duck's skin is slightly crispy and not too fat. Roasted pork wise, you can hear the cunchy sounds when chewing on the skin. My favourite is the char siew. Well marinated, not too sweet and with the right balance of fatty and lean meat in every slice.

Since the owners decided to reopen here, I haven’t been here. Standard is still good. I ordered the 3 in 1 - roast duck, roast pork and char siew rice. All three items are still good. Charcoal roasted is always better. Roasted duck and pork skins are crispy and I love the char siew not too sweet ❤️ Stall opens every Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11 am till sold out.

Used to have their roast located along Keong Saik and enjoyed their char siew and mee kia. Looks like they don't serve noodles anymore at their new location. It still tastes very much the same! Smokey charred meat at a decent price. Be prepared to wait, so be there early!

Didn't manage to try their food yet but they are cash only, not even paynow/paylah! There are no signs at all. I was lucky the queue was short today (friday 11am - 1130am). They kindly rejected me

Commonwealth : the Q is really long..prepare to wait. The duck was average. The char siew and siew yok still got standard but.... I Wun want to q again. Lol Previous review @ Keong Saik : The char siew and duck were yums cos they were fatty and the pork was crispy. But the wait time is very long cos they chop the meat very very slowly. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The queue was really long but the wait was worth it . Was rewarded with Nicely glazed char siew, and crispy pork belly roasts.

Went today 24 Feb 11:30am the Q already snake up to 50 pax. Took 2hrs 15 mins to get buy. I think Uncle needs to limit portions allow each per pax … some bought many packets took 25mins … If u want to go pls be patient as uncle alone is chopping… and only one helper packing and collecting money. But Be fair , food is as good as when in Keong Saik Rd.char siew roast was best! Roast pork belly also excellent! For long wait , I post just 3 stars as tiring experience!
