The wild mushroom bruschetta is good as for the breakfast starter. Whereby the king oysters mushroom is huge and very juicy. The pancake does not stand out as it’s quite normal. Fruits not much and the pancake is not that fluffy. The cream on top is heavy. With red bean as the topping which is too sweet. The juices were good, but not the ice americano, not strong and diluted taste. Environment is good as within the Dempsey and the entry point very unique compare with other outlets. Outdoor seats were very comfy. Make reservations that has time limit of one hour and half. When wanted to add one more side dish as the truffle fries at the end of the booking, the staff asked “ how long do you plan to sit here” and did not have the truffle fries ordered subsequently.

My favorite PS cafe. I enjoy the greenery and feel relax every time I am here. Their service is good and the food never disappoint. They serve one of the best truffle fries and I make sure I order it every time I am here. Of course other dishes taste good too. This is one of the few restaurants that I will always return for more. Good work

This place is nestled at Dempsey hill and I would say it’s a lovely place to meet with friends and have a chat. They serve good pastries and desserts which are delightful. We didn’t get a chance to try but I heard they are good. We tried the thai risotto, pasta and our friend tried fish and chips. Overall meal tasted really good. The truffle fries I felt was overrated but the rest was on point in terms of taste.

Comfy ambience and nice view of greens. Ordered the fish and chips and a pint of beer - the entire meal was very filling; the fish was nicely seasoned and fried. The service was rather slow, probably because the place was full house, but still - even if you've made reservations you still got to wait for a bit ... Also, as always known, the food here is rather pricey ...

I was in Singapore for a short trip and this is one place I would definitely come back. The space is so relaxing and inviting!!! I had lunch and desserts there with my sisters. Everything were delightful. However, the location is not easily accessible by MRT. Thus, you need to get there by car or taxi.

This restaurant is located on Dempsey hill. It is a good place to meet up with friends and have a chat. There is a huge variety of food here. The food is very tasty. There is also car parking available nearby. You need reservation to eat here.

Dining Date: Oct. 9, 2022. Amazing brunch experience. Hemsey used to be the US military area where it is pretty cozy, green, and spacious. It's also great to walk around before/after grabbing meals. The big glass window makes the atmosphere perfectly refreshing. Enjoy the brunch surrounded by a lot of greens and sunshine, that's how cozy and comfortable. The food is also pretty quality. No wonder it's hard to get a seat here. Absolutely want to come again. Definitely highly recommended as well.

I recently visited a cafe that left a positive impression. The place had a great atmosphere, providing a comfortable and inviting environment for patrons. The overall ambiance was pleasing, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing time. The cafe's decor and layout contributed to the positive experience, creating a visually appealing setting. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to work or catch up with friends, this cafe offers a versatile space suitable for various occasions. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Their prompt service and willingness to accommodate customer preferences enhanced the overall visit. In summary, this cafe stands out for its good place and environment. It's a place where you can unwind, enjoy a cup of coffee, and appreciate the positive vibes. I recommend it for those seeking a comfortable and pleasant cafe experience.

Great location and surroundings. One of the servers, Tony, really stood out for being attentive, responsive to requests, and engaging guests through his recommendations. Food was really good, though it lacked a little bit of salt (probably my own taste). It's a great brunch spot to catch up with friends and family in the midst of lush greens. Highly recommended!

Dempsey is a great place to hangout and to enjoy good food! PS Cafe has been around for a while now! It always attracts a good crowd! My most memorable dish from there years ago are the shoestring fries! Today I tried Eggs Florentine and I am not sure how this dish is usually served but it was colder than I expected although tasty. The cappuccino was good! I was delighted to see a butterfly filled Christmas tree! That added a nice touch to the good ambience of the cafe inside or out. What was good was to have Kamal, the manager, come by to listen to our feedback about how a "deeper dish" for the meals. The curved soup-style plate caused the cutlery to slip all the time between bites when we laid it down and led to us using more napkins than necessary to wipe the utensils. It requires "more work" to enjoy the dining experience. The plates are aesthetically appealing but simply not the most practical for foods to be sliced or knifed except maybe for salads, stews, pasta etc. The coffee and the service was good on the whole!

The one place I wish i could find again now that I've left Singapore. I liked the quality of the service and the food, together with the wonderful garden setting. Knowing you would escape to P.S Cafe for Lunch or Brunch, have a fantastic salad and some cake was always something to look forward to! Such a modern spirit too, did things in 2010 that I only see now in other restaurants around the world. Special mention for the fresh flowers everywhere, it adds even more to the experience!

The food is nice & the staff are kind enough to loan us an umbrella when we are caught by the sudden downpour. They should have better signage to direct customer to enter from the other entrance. Also, if house rules is to wait outside, please ensure every customer follows. There shouldn't be special treatment for non-asian to be allowed to wait inside.

The cafe is nestled among the lush greenery of Dempsey Hill Singapore. It is located at Harding Road, a little uphill road near Tanglin, Orchard. The cakes i had were the golden banana butterscotch cake and M's carrot cake, and I can tell you it is heavenly.

I went there for lunch to busy having great conversation and forgotten to take photo of food only dessert. Not my first time here lovely quiet secluded place for a nice lunch. Food always great they are so busy but still managed to do a great job serving customers.

Great ambience! The entrance is quite obscure. Noticed some of the items the reviews here mentioned are not in the menu, like the Tom Yam prawn salad. Do ask for what's their special that is not in the menu. Great coffee, we asked for oat milk as they ran out of soy milk and it was surprisingly good. Food is great and love all of their salad that I have tried so far like superfood etc. Worth a visit.

Came here on a weekday night and it was surprisingly crowded. Even though I made a reservation, I was given a table right at the entrance of the place. Location wise is a little inaccessible unless you are driving. Food is standard P.S Cafe level. Which is good. The burger was well cooked. Fish and chips were nice too. Their drinks were nice and refreshing. The star of the show has got to be the sticky date pudding with ice cream! Never leave P.S Cafe without getting it.

Brought mom to high tea break, a little hard to find the location but the ambience is fantastic, high ceilings and with the beautiful outside view. Food is very good especially the Thai rice with minced pork.Ginger dessert unique. Price is on the high side but overall paying the ambience. Last but not least, staffs are attentive and polite.

Very cozy, beautiful and comfortable places, internal & patio design conveys the feeling of full relaxation. Food taste is pretty authentic. Pricy for the food quantity provided, even though glad we chose the extra large size. Poached egg is pretty small, looks really cute, but egg white a bit hard than the traditional version. I'd still try the food in western restaurant but the environment beats all.

My visit today was really disappointing. Firstly the food was quite bland and underseason. But I have to say that their food gets served really quickly. Secondly I ordered a plate of risotto but it came undercooked, I told the staff about it but they say that there was nothing wrong about it. Lastly for the price point I'm paying for definitely not a very memorable experience. Overall food was bad but the atmosphere and ambience was great.

I have been coming to this place for years and years and years. The food is really really so-so and 100% expensive for what you’re actually paying for but I really just come here to sit outside, get myself and my friends really really drunk and enjoy that equatorial afternoon drinking mood. You can’t be disappointed if you don’t have expectations. Atmosphere 10 stars of 10. Food 3 stars of 10. Just being honest. Like I said, I’m a long time patron.

PS at Dempsey is firmly cemented as (one of) my favourite outpost(s) in the island - the abundance of natural sunlight flowing into the space and view of the greenery brings a certain feeling of ease and lightness. Food is just alright, nothing to shout about imo, but don’t miss the sticky date pudding. However, the mediocrity in that department is made up for by the service and aforementioned ambience.

PS cafe is crowded as usual and the atmosphere is great. I had the PS Burger - medium rare. It is nice but I would not rate it as the best burger. The meat is juicy but some part is little firm, prefer it to be more tender. The fries is good for sure and very crispy. The red velvet cake with Ice cream and eclair are ok. The cake is moist and not too sweet. Great for sharing since it is huge. The eclair is large and looks pretty. It is not too sweet and worth a try if you still have space in your stomach😉

Overrated food, their steaks are super dry eventho I ordered medium rare. Chocolate cake is not bad. A bit overpriced in my opinion. Drinks are either too sour and too sweet.

PS Café is ideally situated in a charming location, adjacent to the renowned forest school. The outdoor dining area offers a delightful experience, perfect for those who enjoy lunch in the midst of nature. The restaurant tends to be bustling, but the staff is consistently friendly. While they utilize QR codes for payments, incorporating online ordering would enhance the overall convenience. The food, though acceptable, could use improvement; some patrons have noticed a change in taste compared to previous visits.

It’s a beautiful setting in Dempsey area. It’s hard not to like this place. The service is good - I was reading that some outlets have terrible service - and the food is honest. Nothing over the top but also doesn’t disappoint. Prices are high but still somewhat decent considering the area is super expensive.

The scenery around the cafe is good, surrounded by trees and natural habitat. The atmosphere is very good, chill, and suitable for an afternoon hangout session. Foods are okay, but the portion is quite big for the main dishes.

My friends and I have found our sanctuary at this enchanting restaurant nestled in the lush, forest-like hideaway of Dempsey. It’s not just a dining spot; it’s an escape to nature where the ambiance is as refreshing as the cuisine is tantalizing. Among the standout experiences here is indulging in their spicy risotto, a dish that keeps us coming back for more. This risotto is not just a meal; it’s a masterpiece of flavors, perfectly balanced with just the right kick of spice to elevate the entire dining experience.

We enjoyed a lovely family dinner, celebrating our daughter's birthday at PS Cafe. Kudos to the excellent service by Kamal and the PS team. Service was attentive, prompt and kind. We had the roast chicken, pork ribs, carbonara and shrimp aglio olio. Topped off with lime pie for dessert. Food is good and made more enjoyable by the cosy environment and wonderful service.

Lovely ambience, great for a date night. plus one star for the amazing cakes! The portion size of a cake serving is huge (proportional to the price), you could make a meal out of it! Otherwise, very limited vegan/vegetarian options. Recommended for desserts only :p

This is a very pretty place. We came at 8plus just before they did their last order and we were welcome in. Melody came to us to help us with our order. I think she was allocated outside area. But still took our order for us. She is very joyful and had very positive vibe. She recommended great desserts to us! This is a great staff that you have employed! Keep it up!

We took quite some time to find this cafe because there weren't many parking spots nearby. However, I think this outlet would be the best to go to without reservation. It's out of the way, but perfect to get your own privacy in a backdrop of lush greenery! Food standards and service standards are uniformly upheld so there's no doubt in what you can expect over at all P.S. Cafes! Definitely gonna come back here again to escape the crazy crowds

Love the ambience here, both the indoor and outdoor seating gives a different vibe to the place. Got their ps steak sandwich and they they the doneness of the steak as requested and the glaze on the sourdough was really good. However, their honey milk latte was lacking that hint of coffee, but if u like honey then u should try that drink

We came here around 1pm but still packed, all waitresses were always busy so it takes quite a while for us to order our food. Highly recommend their laksa prawn dumplings and dark chocolate cake. Not a very ideal place to talk because it could be noisy during peak hours.

P.S. Café at Harding has great ambiance with a cozy, yellow-lit internal seating area and an outdoor seating area that is quiet, pleasant and surrounded by trees and greenery. The menu caters to vegetarians with a few items which I was very thankful for. We ordered the pesto pasta and their famous truffle fries. The pasta was well done with the vegetables cooked just right – not too crunchy and not too soggy. The abundant quantity of fries was served hot, smelled fantastic because of the truffle oil and was crunchy and delicious. We ordered the Red Velvet cake with ice cream and the Sticky Date pudding for dessert. I found the cake average, but the pudding was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it for those with a sweet tooth. The restaurant is expensive of course but I came away feeling it was well worth the asking price because of the calming ambiance, accommodating staff, and the well-cooked food.

We went on a rainy day, so we chose to sit inside which is spacious and has a nice ambience. The outdoor area looked great too though. The staff here are really friendly and were understanding about my toddler walking around the area. Food is delicious, we tried the vegan pasta, chunky fries, pumpkin soup, caesar salad with prawns, and club sandwich without the bacon, and we enjoyed them all thoroughly. The dessert selection is fantastic as well, we only tried the bannoffee pie and chocolate éclair, but we will be back for more.

  • 5/5 Jotham C. 3 years ago on Google
The PS Burger had an extremely buttery bun, whilst the patty was tender and juicy. The extra for truffle fries isn't exactly worth it as the accompanying sauce (which I assume is some mixture of mayonnaise and chilli) had more interesting flavours. The dessert was generously portioned, so order at your own risk.

A nice place to chill out with a different scenery. Only went for the cakes (ordered rum & raisin cheesecake and red velvet chocolate cake). The red velvet was OK but a little disappointed with the rum & rum. Its just raisin and syrup over a cheese cake and it's a little too sweet for me. Overall still a place worth visiting. Will come for the main food next time.

The setting is fantastic, but somehow I think in the past year, service levels have dropped a fair bit. They seem a little understaffed and the quality of service is reduced from average to mediocre in the last few visits. It appears that a fair number of service staff faces have changed which I think contributed to the difference. Shame, it used to be a good place and a first choice for me. The food is good, but pricey - which is fine as you pay for the ambiance and the level of service. Otherwise you can get the same or better at Chye Seng Just Hardware for much less.

Not only is the setting of the P.S. Cafe here pleasant, but the food, as well as the service. My family and I were served by Ms Rachael and she was really friendly, even going out of her way to make our experience as enjoyable as possible by introducing popular dishes that we may like to eat. I ordered the Chicken Rossa Penne and the Impossible Burger (which were recommended by her) and it was absolutely delicious such that I finished the food before I knew it. I would definitely recommend the P.S. Cafe here at Harding Road, for its food, service, as well as its atmosphere.

Dined here on a rainy 17th August. One of the fewer unforgettable dinners we have had. I celebrated my partner's birthday (as a surprise treat) and all staff were highly accommodating in serving us throughout our visit from start to end. We were shown to our seats by a friendly staff and had the menu explained to us, with recommended best-sellers. Staff attended to our many questions with ease. Food portion and aesthetic was of worthy quality. However, we noticed a bug had entered one of our drinks and had staff informed. Recovery was prompt as they made us a new drink, on the house. Manager/supervisor and the attending staff were sincerely apologetic but remained professional. The birthday cake slice with the Happy Birthday message was well-managed by the crew as well. The attending female staff also took the initiative to take pictures for us. Beautiful alfresco ambience, surrounded by greenery, perfect lighting, table deco and interior. Bar appeared somewhat exquisite and manned by passionate bartenders. All front-of-staff house seemed well-trained. Outer and dining area and toilet hygiene were all well kept. All was perfect that night. A bit sad we didn't get names of all attending staff that night, but thank you PS. Cafe Harding for successfully delivering us a special night. Can't wait to visit again!

Didn’t make reservation and just popped by to try our luck after lunch at Long Beach Seafood. No luck and we had to wait for our table if any cancellations. We waited about an hour and finally got a table. 4 of us, we ordered a cake, Double Chocolate Blackout Cake slice with vanilla ice cream, 4 drinks and 2 bottles of San Pellegrino sparkling water. Total bill was $84.04. Always Fullhouse and highly recommended to make a reservation regardless weekdays or weekends to avoid disappointment or long wait for the table. Heard this branch is the top sales among all PS Cafe outlets. No doubt ambient was good and relaxing. One funny thing, if you booked a table, they hold for 45 minutes before releasing to others. I wonder why should you hold for 45 minutes? Usually only hold for 10 - 15 minutes and the booking will be cancelled if no show.

Came here for lunch on Friday, there is quite a crowd. I suppose you can chill and relax a bit on the last day of the week. Had some challenge getting someone to take our orders initially but after that the food service was quick. Once the food was served enjoyment began. I tried everyone’s order and I must say they were all really good. Apart from this I really like the ambience, huge windows bright natural light and blending with nature. All in all it was a wonderful experience, definitely coming again.

We decided to try this cafe. The ambiance was good with the green scenery. I like the interior design with a humongous lily at the entrance. We decided to try Cesar Salad, Truffle Fry and Double Choco Blackout Cake w/ Ice cream. The double choco was delicious. If you are sugar tooth person, you need to try.

Tossup between 4 and 5 stars. My only issue is that it’s a little pricy for the portion size - could have been a little more… great taste, coffee was though good size and at the right temperature, not cold. Setting is lovely and just nice to sit outside with lots of green and feel ‘out of the city’. PS is always at the higher end of café restaurants here and nice menu for a chain. Food is not simply reheated. Look forward to my next Sunday brunch here… Update, my guest decided to go for some truffle fries and I then the passion fruit eclair - both very good. Fries is wrong time of day for me, but the signature fries are always a huge portion and most ended up being left. The eclair was fresh and nicely balanced and not too sweet. My complaint - the desert arrives 15 min before the fries which limited the sharing. Who wants desert before truffle fries?? I know it’s not unusual here, but serving together and in order is something I wish restaurants can improve on. What do you think? Agree?

Had crab tart, truffle fries and key lime pie. Tart was good but not mind-blowing. Truffle fries were great, in a massive serve. Key lime pie was awesome. Coffee was acceptable. White sangria was amazing. Overall 8/10.

Superb ambience in the midst of the greens and of course, exceptionally inaccessible if you’re without a 4-wheel. I’ve had not-so-great experiences which formed my impression of the PS. Cafe chain, but this experience (powered by an all-expenses-paid-for work dinner) updated my impressions. As always, great and generous serving of fries. I tried my colleague’s laksa, not bad for a cafe. I had a PS. burger, medium rare, that was fabulous. I was surprised that I could inhale the huge serving. Great red, too! Courtesy of my boss, of course. Sticky date pudding, a crowd favourite, is far from mine. It’s way too sweet for my palate.

Perfect place with a beautiful backyard view but it’s oh so crowded on weekends. As with all PS cafes, we have to make reservations prior to coming down. But however, as the place was so busy during tea time, the staff is just so loaded that everybody queue in one queue irregardless of whether you made a reservation or not. On the Sunday which I came, we waited for approx 15minutes before we were seated. We were seated just near the cakes display (yum!) and we could see the beautiful natural forage/forest just outside. We were kind of thankful that we weren’t seated outside as the weather was quite hot that day. We ordered a seafood basket, truffle fries, and an all day breakfast with 2 iced chocolate. We weren’t too impressed with the ice chocolate as it was very diluted and was tasteless. The all day breakfast was very loaded with ingredients, and the sausage and bacon was cooked just right. The seafood basket was fried just right and the batter was crispy. Only feedback is some of the squid tasted quite stale and had a strong freezer taste. The truffle fries was as usual wonderful. Service was good, but only with the right staff. We were lucky we got one of the more experienced lady supervisor or manager to serve us. She knew what we wanted with one small signal, and was good for a quick chat and very prompt with her service. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

This place usually has a queue so make sure you have a reservation beforehand if you're not willing to wait. The prices are on the higher end for a cafe but it's not without it's merit. Ordered the P.S. Burger and the P.S. Steak Sandwich. Among the two, I'd highly commend the Burger as the medium-rare patty is literally oozing with goodness when you cut into it. And if that's not enough, there's bacon 🥓 on top of that. Both is served with this lemony (or mango?) sauce pairing which is quite unique in taste and adds more to the experience. I wouldn't upgrade the shoestring fries to a truffle though because I think the truffle taste is a little on the mild side. Do note that either of these meal is difficult for a single person to finish, which is great value given its cost but do remember to pick your meals wisely. Also, every staff in this branch is super attentive despite the the hectic lunch weekend crowd. And that's not even covering dessert yet! (tbc)

Beautiful Sunday for a late brunch. Cool crisp air after the rain, beautiful atmosphere. I don't blame the service crew for taking about 5 mins before attending to me to get a table, since I walked in alone and probably didn't stand out much, and it doesn't help that there's quite a number of patrons at the time. My only gripe was with the poached eggs, which were fully cooked. The rest of it is acceptable I guess. Ordered a big breakfast and an Americano for $39.80.

An upscaled cafe compared to the other PS branches. Price was also more expensive compared to the other outlets as well. But quality/presentation of food, service of staff, and atmosphere was excellent as well. A good place for brunch once in a while. Good job PS cafe!

The place has a very nice ambience and it is sitting in front of a small forest which creates a sense of isolation with the rest of the world. The food is not as pleasing. The pesto penne I had is a bit too dry and too bland for my liking. My friends having other dishes such as bolognese and aglio olio have the same opinion.

A cozy little cafe hidden away behind a few trees in the Dempsey Hill area. The food here is a bit pricey, but so is everything else in the area. The staff are friendly and the food comes out relatively quick. Taste-wise, the food is above average but you're really paying for the setting and ambience. It's quite a comfortable feeling to be eating inside a grassy and wooded area; and even if you're indoors, there is floor to ground glass windows that let you see the surroundings. Coffee here wasn't too bad though.

The prettiest one by far! The perfect brunch spot for that garden city vibes. Alfresco dining a must but not for the faint-hearted due to the heat. You can’t go wrong with the brunch menu and the Chocolate Red Velvet is always a winner!

Good food with greenery environment. Their impossible burger and spicy king prawn aglio olio are the must to order! While for the dessert, worth to try their triple chocolate cake! However, this location is not easy to access by public transportation.

Enjoyable sticky date pudding, though sauce was a little cloying after a while. Lively ambiance though coffee needs improvement. Do check out the giant fishes in the nearby pond outside, a sight to behold

Great scenic cafe in picturesque Dempsey Hill. When you are planning for a day out at the Botanic Gardens, this romantic cafe is a good option for a relaxed morning or afternoon snack. Tasty food with some healthy options - we usually go for the Thai Basil Chicken and Rice, as well as the superfood salad - This time we chose the prawn noodle soup instead of the salad which was not as great as it lacked depth of flavour. The service unfortunately is not matching the general environment and food and has lots of room to improve with quite inattentive wait staff. Prices are also steep - however, you will be getting quite substantial servings. Overall - just ok.

Excellent service by the table and good recommendation when certain item runs out. Menu is rather extensive and caters to different people and palate. Better to drive to this location. Outdoor seats may not be a bad choice. Couple table can be better to fit all dishes and drinks.

Food was so so and kinda pricy. Overpriced cake and drinks but tasted not much leaving impression. However, the staff was accomodating to our walk-in request and wait was less than half hour. Like their seating design and the outdoor seatings facing alot of greeneries. Would be good if they can open up (the closed space in the photo) during peak weekend brunch period.

Nice ambience as it was situated away from the main “stretch” of restaurant. Can choose outdoor seating if you want to have an evening tea while enjoy the green surrounding. The food and service was great too!

My daughter and I had a great brunch here at PS Cafe Demsey. We walked in without any reservation but was immediately allocated a table despite the usual full booking on Sunday. The food was sumptuous, and the service staff were warm and attentive. Special thanks to Mr Parma and Ms Jia Xuen for their hospitality. We will be back soon!

As we all already know what to expect from this establishment which reputation precedes, what was supposed to be a lovely date night turned incredible when people brighten up days creating a memorable impression, at least for my partner and I, whose experiences were elevated when we were at the care of who I'd call the MVP, Kamal. Attentive, friendly but maintained professionalism - it is with such service staff I'd trust the care and attention for my family and loved ones. Keep up the great work, you are a true gem and gentleman.
