A nice dive bar, great place to end your night. It has a pool table, beer buckets and music. It's pretty much impossible to get inside now and it's pointless because they barely let anyone in so the ambience inside is pretty lame. But the outdoors is still fun and you are allowed to smoke there which is nice for smokers. Overall we go there pretty often because it's still is fun at times and one of the better place to go out.

Bouncers were making it up as they go along saying absolute nonsense throughout. Place is obviously going downhill based on recent reviews. My Singaporean friend was shocked. Edit: went back Sunday and had a good time as there weren’t rude bouncers changing their story every minute. Would avoid on the weekend but still a lot of fun during the week!

After my friends went out outside they didn’t allow them to come back inside saying the capacity was full? Bad management. Also the toilets were small and dirty. Easy to transmit viruses.

I patronised this joint with my friends and were allocated a table outside. When we asked the staff if we could be seated indoors, they simply told us that only people who will spend $300 and above will be allowed to do so. The thing is that no one mentioned this to us earlier. However, we noticed the staff randomly allowing people to sit indoors despite claiming there is a minimum charge. I guess the staff here profile customers on the basis of looks. We used to be regulars but not anymore. Avoid this place at all cost.

if you’re an introverted, lowkey and probably anxiety-ridden person, pot to pot, tomayto-tomato, this place is probably not for you. we understand this is probably going to be a very unpopular review! but we thought it might be helpful to someone like us. we visited the bar at around 12am, looking for a late night location for a few drinks. walked in and took the outdoor seatings, because the lights and music seemed a bit much for our overstimulated brains. this is not the establishments fault at all, but a matter of personal preference, seeing as we’ve always frequented the quieter, less boisterous bars. maybe we would’ve had a better experience if we’d taken the inside seats? pretty sure we went through the seven stages of grief sitting outside due to the Very Loud Crowd that we weren’t used to. a lot of shouting and yelling, which wasn’t really our scene, and had one of us almost bolting away in panic 🤩we stayed long enough to order a few drinks, which we thought weren’t really worth the price. we went with a vodka cranberry, gin and tonic and a mock tail, all of which were pretty disappointing, consisting mostly of ice and juice, with barely discernible alcohol for $15. alright, this review has gone on long enough, but we hope it helps your own drunken decision making at 1am. - a broke college kid

Dive bar down in Boat Quay. The bar has a line on the weekends and you need to wait for capacity to enter. Very good environment inside. Music is a little eclectic with no real theme or thought put into song selection. Drinks strong enough, but very expensive as expected in Singoaore. Bathrooms were in rough shape, but it is a dive bar. Expectations met mostly.

Come in with two females an hour and half before they closed, and spent around 150-200 USD on drinks for my table, I ordered another beer while 1 girl went to the bathroom, and the other ordered water, literally not even 5 minutes after getting my beer a waiter that I haven't seen before asked us to leave because my friend asked for a water, "because she wasn't spending money", I explained we ordered a bunch a drinks already and she needs a water " it's unsafe for her to continue drinking like that" the lady continued to say if you she drinks water she has to leave, what kind of unsafe environment is this. I tried to reason with her as other tables were empty and I just was given my drink, she suggested I drink outside if we weren't gonna continue ordering drinks.. now remember there is 27 minutes left till closing and I have 1 friend in line for the the bathroom, an empty table next to us and my friend is just drinking a water for a hot second. I didn't wanna continue arguing with her so we just left. Go to headquarters, Public House, or even southbridge if you want a better environment without pushy staff. I will never spend another dollar at this establishment, the music was good and the female waiter who was bold was really nice before she left, but that new waiter left us with just a bad taste I'm never going back

Well... this spot won't be a repeat experience unless I am desperate for a pool game... literally the only thing there that was good. One experience of the impatient hostess who insisted on being paid upfront for 2 simple drinks and then poorly constructed (unbearablly sweet) American Lemonade Mocktails are enough. I guess my kind were not considered worthy to order, enjoy, then pay, like others I saw there.

Cheap free flow. Pay entrance fee and every 10 minutes. They offer plenty of games eg. Beer Pong, darts etc. The bartender is quite friendly although you need a little effort to get the service staffs attention. The music is not bad. It is a very good deal for the price. However, the toilet could use some cleaning and upgrade.

8pm is way too early to drink here, but it’s a cool space in a great location. The style is almost like a deliberate and safe dive-bar. Beer mats are pinned to the ceiling, eclectic objects are scattered behind the bar. Their drinks cover the range from Blue Ribbon up to decent cocktails. After we did consume three big orders we were asked to switch tables and our table was offered to two new guests who shared one small beer. Furthermore the waiter spilled my new Sprite all over me. Good place if you want to have fun in groups. There is a karaoke room that doesn't need booking and that's pretty cool! Skinny's is a must-visit bar at the end of Boat Quay. Popular as a nightlife venue and hosting a tiny karaoke room in the back which can get pretty wild (back when the karaoke room was open before COVID-19 times!) this bar is still going despite the current hardships. Dropped in recently for a bottle of craft white beer and the staff recognised me, even after over a year and a half. Lovely place and extremely welcoming!

We were told that this place opens after midnight and so we went just because we want to go to a place to dance after 12. We were horrified as there were really no theme inside. The deco is just everywhere... and old (assorted bras hanging over the cashier). Music is good, ranges from classics to new genre. My friends said the toilets looks and contains so much trash (a bloody tampon on the floor) that it feels like someone bombed it. You really don't want anyone to step on your shoes as the floors... urgh! The cocktails are still good. The beers... much to be desired. One word... Sleazy. Kinda disappointed. Never again.
