One of the finest Indian restaurants in Singapore, with authentic and sumptuous north Indian food. The weekend brunch with the unlimited pani puri is an amazing treat, with other bite sized menu items (the pav bhaji bun and samosa are my top picks). The dinner menu is fantastic too.

April 2023: Enjoyed a delicious dinner outdoors overlooking the water. Started with the samosas and the fried cauliflower appetizers. Both were very tasty 😋. For mains, had the palak paneer and the butter chicken. We complimented with the roti, the garlic naan, and the paratha. Everything was delicious. I'd come back again for more delicious Indian food!

Had Sunday brunch at Gabbar's. By far, one of the best indian restaurants I have been to in a while. Loads of options at an affordable fare. And the unlimited pani puris are the icing on the cake! The Parle G biscuit with the "cutting" chai was a nice touch as well. Overall, a must try for anyone who is craving for a taste of authentic Maharashtrain food.

Great place for Indian food and drinks. No music outside, best place for people watching. Great music inside, mostly Indian/Hindi songs. Almost all the food that we had was good. Gobi Manchurian was the star with the right amount of crispiness and spice level. Even the biryani tasted pretty decent. The tandoori chicken and garlic prawns were also good. A good location in Clarke quay.

Hands down the craziest Bollywood experience in all of Singapore. The best music. The best staff. The best vibe. A staple in my weekend party routine.

Great mixture of Western and Indian food, especially for the appetizers. I like their creativity inside: mushrooms + cheese with Indian spicy. Bayari were too salty for me, but still a delicious meal.

Came here for brunch, reservations is a must. Interesting experience, you get to try Indian street food in a cool and hip Indian environment although the music was a bit too loud. Liked the Vada Pav which seems to be the most popular dish. The Chole, Omelette, Paneer Roll and Paneer Burger were delicious too except the burger patty was too salty. The Kachori samosa was the only disappointment. The masala Chai is nice but is more like our Teh halia.

Good food and enjoyable experience along the river. But the construction happening around the place is unsettling for now. On the day, the music was too loud for my liking. But I liked the food and service

I have been to gabbar 2-3 times. This time, my friends and I chose to sit outside next to the river.. This outside seating is best for people who don't want loud music and want to chit chat with friends. For dance and loud music, you can step-in and enjoy the moves!! Music is all bollywood.

Free flowing phuchka's (Pani Puri), amazing Bombay omelette and loved the chole bhatture! If you don't reserve a table, be ready for a long wait.

Gabbar itself means heavy weight monopolist strong influence. This place serve great Indian food , staff are friendly , once can also opt for outdoor sitting watching people going or sitting inside with live Dj and good music. One needs prior booking at least two hour before to visit this place.

The sunday brunch is $35 with no option of ala carte, and pani puri, which is really a snack, is one of the 3 dishes in the brunch package. While there are some egg & chicken options with a slice of sandwich bread, the rest are really vege & potatoes. No drinks included, just water. Taste is alright but not outstanding, there are better value great indian food around … Service is swift. For a Sunday brunch, indian house music blares in a neon-lit setting. Probably better as a night bar place.

Honestly came here for the bottomless Pani Puri and it did not disappoint! Really enjoyed gobbling up the ever flowing Pani Puri, the other items on the brunch were so so. The best was probably the momos and pav bhaji buns! The service was awful, literally only one competent person but cuz he was good he was busy.

Great food and ambience. So far, from whatever we have had, this looks to be among a few of the really good Indian restaurants in Singapore - and believe me when I say this, "there aren't many, sadly". We had ordered the Surkh Lal Chicken Tikka Kebab, chicken biryani, samosa and chilly cheese paratha. They were all very good. And the Kebab - it was awesome! If you want to order just one item, order that. Also, found the samosa to also be one of the very few authentic ones. The other being KURRY KORNER in Changi Business Park.

It is a very nice place to sit out and look at Singapore river while dinning. The scenery is just gorgeous at sunset. The menu although is quite typical of an Indian restaurant, the dishes came liking very modern and well plated. For the price of this place I guess it is expected of somehow. The dishes order are large in quality and therefore for 2 pax, 3 dishes is more than enough and we hardly can finish it. The Gobi fried broccoli is an interesting one which tasted slightly different from the traditional dish. The sauce is creamy and flavourful. Tandoori chicken is authentic and the tandoori nicely with the charred. The meat is tender too. The garlic naan is fresh and garlicky. Go very well with the chicken. However note that they do go by default to give u Evian still bottled water that is pricey.

We went to Gabbar for dinner with friends on a Thursday. Restaurant has a big outdoor patio seating area, right by the river/canal. Food was very flavorful and visually appealing. Drinks were ok. Staff was well trained and attentive during the service. We had vegetarian dishes but there are a number of non-vegetarian dishes on the menu. I would recommend this place for its location, vibe, and food.

Lively atmosphere situated beside the heavy traffic of of Clarke Quay's party goers. There is a plethora of seating outside the restaurant. While distinctly average, the food was still better than expected, given what they could probably get away with. Not our first choice for food but relieved not to be greatly disappointed. The service was prompt and the food didn't take long to arrive. Prices were high, but this is Singapore.

If you like Indian food then the weekend brunches at Gabbar are the best ones to have in Singapore. The menu is very simple and you can order 2 dishes per person and you have got the free flow of paani puri and you won’t be disappointed. I rarely enjoy the paani puri but here I love them. Pyaz kachori and vada pav are just amazing and whenever I have them I feel like having more of them. The Amritsari kulacha is another flagship product with amazing taste and presentation. They’ve done some experimentation with pav bhaji and the avocado toast. They are nice but not that great. The ambience is good as well and the service is quick. Go for it if you like Indian food 😊

Really great delicious food with one of the best service in Indian restaurants in sg. It's not cheap but damn good food. Pics of the veg and non veg platter here and everything in there was good. Can do without the garlic prawns, wasn't what we expected. But the Gobi Manchurian and mutton biryani is highly recommended as are the galauti kebab and malai tikka. Since we were celebrating a bday they gave a complimentary big chunk of lava cake, really nice, The cocktails ordered were not diluted and pretty good as well. The place turns into a club post 930 with dim lights. Only issue was lack of space to effectively dance and there was a scdf/police raid/inspection that dampened the evening. Else overall experience would have been 5 stars, will definitely be back.

The place has amazing positive energy and great view. Best time to be there is in the evening, when weather is more congenial.we went for a brunch and sat outside and it wasn't bad. Their signature dish is Paani Poori, which is outstanding. Other dishes like Momos, Amritsari Naana and chicken were wlso good

Great place for North Indian food. I ordered a non-veg kebab platter and a mutton Rogan Josh. It's easily the best I've had in Singapore till now. I'm certain there are other eateries, but for one to get both kebab and curry right is an achievement. A bit pricey though.

Service was great! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was okay catering to western palettes by diminishing the chili level. Looking back, I wish we had ordered differently.

We keep coming back to this modern Indian restaurant Gabbar at Clarke Quay. Their bottomless brunch is always a hit with the free flow of Pani Puri / Gol Gappas. I absolutely enjoyed their latest menu which includes chicken tikka, chicken tacos, pav bhaji, vada pav and of course their paan ice cream that is a must order.

The place is nice to catch up with friends. Sitting outside by the riverside is the most popular option - especially when it’s not too hot and humid. If you like to dance to the live band crooning Hindi songs, you may consider sitting inside. However, the music is too loud - difficult to have a conversation when seated inside. Food is good. Service is satisfactory. Atmosphere is lively for those who love to dance to Bollywood songs.

Loved the bottomless brunch and the friendly servers! Its a family friendly place and it’s pretty authentic. I gotta say it really is bottomless, we were struggling to finish our orders. Recommendations: Smoked paneer nachos 💕 (the crunch and the sauces were amazing, definitely a must-try) Egg kejriwal Bombay grilled sandwich Noodles paho was so-so Not a big fan of their pani puri as the masala wasn’t heated up but the tamarind sauce was great! they serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks so it’s definitely suitable for all :) will be back again!

The best Indian pub in Singapore. Probably the best live Indian music band and decent food options as well.

They have recently(about 6 months ago) changed the place, shifted to another location. They have both kinds of seating, outdoor and indoor. We preferred the outdoors, it was more lively, by the water. The starters were great, we didn't really order a lot of main course. The paan ice cream was quite different and refreshing.

It is for Indian sg because it will give you a desi pub/restro lounge vibes. People who are traveling to sg as a tourist you can give other places such as highlanders, chupitos a visit. Because these places will give you some new experience and you will feel okay you are abroad and stuff. More about gabbar, the place is cool, food is great and will definitely give a Desi vibes.

We tried grill sandwich, sabudana wada, papadi chaat and chhole kulche along with free flow pani puri and aam panna and sweet and salty lime soda for drinks for 2 pax. The sandwich and papadi chaat were the stars of the show, with the quantity of food being more than sufficient.

Right from booking to dine-in experience was 4/10. For booking the keep your credit card details incase no-show its $10/pax deduction! The scanner code doesn't work seamlessly so we ordered our drinks to the waiter. It took time for 1st drink which is ok. 2nd round of drink and platter arrived in good time as it was not that crowded. Worst was we placed our dinner order to the waiter who noted it down but the food never arrived almost 40 mins over! We reminded them again but to no avail. We were on our 3 round of drinks still waiting for our dinner which had to finally asked them if they want to serve us dinner. Dinner came finally. We were four of us and two of our friends are frequent diners. The worst part was when the bill came they had charged us double for the dinner which means the 1st time the waiter did key in our dinner order but never served us. How unprofessional is that ! The bill is reflective of what dinner item n quantity we ordered. We don’t expect this of a restaurant that charges top dollars for the food to forget our dinner order and then overcharge. Our total bill $327 after correction! Always check your bill and items ordered. I find it overpriced restaurant where the tables are so cramped together .. not much privacy. Food is good but overpriced. The indoor music lounge area they rudely refused us to let us in even though we dined at the restaurant. Rude staff!

Follow @vegolution_sg for vegetarian friendly reviews: We had the brunch promo - free flow pani puri (sweet and sour filled flour shells) + any two dishes - for only $30 ($35 with gst) per pax! We had a fantastic experience and HERES WHY: ✨ The sauces and dishes were very authentic and flavorful - loved the spicy mint chutney and peanut-crunchy sabudhana (tapioca) vada ✨ Lovely view of the CQ river - our table was just beside it 🥰 ✨ Easy to share and try all options on the menu with a group! ✨ FREE FLOW PANI PURI ‘nuff said 🫶🏻 Only warnings would be ☠️ Need a healthy spice tolerance - inform them to reduce the spice if not! ☠️ Can be crowded with slower service on weekends - we had to chase for our last few dishes. But the staff are friendly and took great pictures for us ☺️ ☠️ SKIP BREAKFAST cause the meal is super filling! Would definitely come back! ❤️

It was our first time dining at Gabbar. The service was excellent. Food was fantastic. Special shout-out to Raj who helped surprise my husband with a yummy brownie for his birthday. Truly appreciate the gesture! Raj was super friendly and hospitable right from the start. We’ll be back again for the good food and good service. Cheers.
