Good drinks, good food, great live music! Had a bottle of red wine, which was reasonably priced, and tried some appetisers and main dishes. The scallops and prawns in wine sauce were delicious and very appetising! The fish and chips were fresh and very meaty! Batter wasn’t overpowering, but lacked firmness for my personal preference (still good though!). Some of my favourite dishes there are the scotch eggs and Haggis with chicken. Very tasty and nicely presented! Had a Guinness while we enjoyed the live music there which is very good! Highlander at Millenia is a great place to chill for dinner till late! Food and drinks and entertainment at its best! This new outlet at Millenia is slightly larger and more cosy than the previous one at Clarke Quay. Also has a very ambient Al fresco area! Will be back for more! Service and staff are very attentive and friendly which makes for an overall complete evening experience!

Pretty convenient how Caucasian people can stay outside later than people of color. We were told we “weren’t allowed” to order drinks outside when white Americans (perhaps people with the same accent) were politely asked to finish their drinks in the outdoor seating area and leave. This was well before closing, too.

Visited on a Thursday night. Decided to try after walking by many times. Waited more than 45 minutes for food. When we checked, told us that their system has an issue but then they served the food to a table that arrived at least 15 minutes after us. If they could have told us about the food delay, we would have adjusted our plans instead of waiting mindlessly around and watching people who arrived later than us enjoy their food. There was no service recovery after that and price of the place was $110+ for 2 cocktails and 2 mains. Food was not good and cocktails were okay okay. Totally not worth it at all.

It was my first time going there, and I love the atmosphere. And also I enjoyed singing and dancing together with my friends while sipping our red wine.Overall it was a nice and unforgettable experience🥰🥰🥰

One of the few clubs that they stay late open with music during the week.. visited Monday and Tuesday both days live music... even though was the same band and were playing the same tracks :) the prices are quite affordable for a club so it’s a good choice to spend your night...

After sitting in the outside section of the restaurant for an hour with my wife, having 4 glasses of wine, the waiter & the manager refused us to go inside to have a look ! A lot of people on the tables next to us had already gone inside, they were all probably Singaporean. Absolutely Ridiculous and racist!

As a local, this is the standard hospitality that everyone should receive. Place is crowded most nights, which I think is a good testament to how great this bar is.

Have visited this place quite often and enjoy it everytime. Drinks are a little overpriced but the live music bands are always a good source of entertainment. Best to go on sat night post 10pm when the crowd is really good and the music is music is at its peak.

We had guests visiting from down under. There was a bit of a line getting in, we managed to get in at a reasonable time. There is a live band who knows how to get the crowd dancing to their tunes. 😊 I don’t remember much of the DJ’s music. Staff are courteous and were friendly with my guests. Will go again and update this review.

Had an excellent Guinness Beef Pie the other night. I’ve eaten other items off the menu before and they are usually of a very high standard. I’ve rated atmosphere as 4 stars only because their dinner crowd isn’t as good as the food deserves. Top notch Scottish/Western offerings. Serve crew are friendly and efficient. Good live bands from 9pm and you’ll see a crowd stream in to listen once the band starts. To all the people coming in for the live entertainment, do come early one night and have dinner here! 😊

Bar with the best live band in Singapore! I walked into Highlander because of the live music I heard while walking at Clarke Quay. The vocals here can really sing! I had great time, stopped by 2 times in 3 nights I spent in Singapore. Drinks are okay, a few mix drinks I had were good. Shots of liquor are measured accurately, so do not get sad if the shots look smaller than what we would usually see in the States. Drinks are not cheap anywhere in Singapore, so I would still recommend highly!

Well, aggressive marketing and up selling re going too far. Just got a horrible experience over there last night. Even so I come to highlander quite often. Me and gf were passing by and decided to drop by. After we entered the club , itwas quiet empty. We reached the dance floor and before we even stopped moving someone pushed me. I turned and it was a waiter . Didn't see this Indian gentleman before but I really hope that I won't cos after almost throwing the menu "* you have to order *. Where is hell or good evening or even sorry for pushing. Perhaps some people just never learn manners or etc. Or maybe never been into a fight. Lol

Food were average. Service were fast and attentive. Here for pre Halloween and all staffs were a good sport wearing funny costumes. Live band were lively and energetic

This is the first bad review I have ever written because Highlander's way of dealing with their customers is UNACCEPTABLE. I had a horrible experience with the Highlander managers and customer service team. When I visited a couple of weeks ago, I was charged TWICE for the same transaction. After i found out later through my bank statement, I contacted them asking for a refund. I even clarified and double checked with my bank that there were TWO transactions. Unfortunately, the Highlander team tried to convince me that there is only 1 transaction cause "sometimes debit cards get charged twice" and made me chase them for more than a week before they gave me an answer. The issue is still not resolved and I will get in touch with their management team. They cant even resolve a simple mistake that was clearly made from their side and instead make ridiculous remarks. Very unhappy with this. SAVE YOUR TIME, SAVE YOUR MONEY - DONT GO THERE.

Waiting for nealy one hour to have some fries. Flavourless cocktail. Headhake. Turn back and avoid this place.

Happened a few times when It was not only that but touching part as well! Duo to we didnt see the waiter because it was loud so the gentlemen garbed me and turned me with a very loud voice and it was some arguing. Well< I have mothing against minimum order but you should give at least a moment to take a breath and the first thing to say should be a Hello instead of : you have to order. Like: if you want me to leave you alone then you have to order! Of course< its always a different story If you will have a table. Then nobody will disturb you and will clear everything before you even finish your drinks. We had a few times issues over there and I cant say that it was resolved by whoever we were talking< can we talk to the manager? It was just more arguing and etc...I thought that the job scope is to calm and solve the problem instead of evolving . anyway< it was a while since the last time We were there so I hope something changed! I still would recommend it to my friends because except that part - place is nice and fun going! The ambience and music! Always people from all over the world and anytime of the week! cheers!

We still went ahead since we had travelled so far. Ordered drinks and just one dish, and were being denied nearly every request. Staff spoke to us rudely. Had high hopes but female staff seemed to be only concerned about the men in the venue and were paying little to no attention to our table. We felt very poorly treated. Never coming back.

Stunning area. Highlander is a nice size with loud live bands and DJ’s alternating. You can get table service and there are a good amount of chairs. The area is very cool so if it’s not your thing there are a dozen other bars within eyeshot.

This review has been pending for some time now. I just love the place, music, drinks and bar bites. In the heart of Clark Quay, it does the job for a perfect entertainment on a weekend night. If you are coming with friends, I would highly suggest to make reservations, to avoid long queues. I am fan of their staff member..Ianne(server at the entrance). She is always helping out the guests and makes sure we get an excellent service.

Been to so many drinking places, so far this is a place where I could be drunk not solely because of the alcohol, but their environment which is awesome with friendly staffs providing decent services all night long. They also serve truly Scottish food!

My first visit to the club on 09 -09-23 {Sat} was not quite to my liking. The deejay were horrendous. They were playing the kind of music all nite that was pathetic to say the least. Electronic type of music is not my cuppa of tea. His knowledge of music must be limited compared to the ones experienced in the US, UK or Europe where I usually go to. I wonder what has Formula 1 due to be held next weekend got to do with the type of music played at the club, I requested for a 80"s song by Kool & The Gang it was never played. So disappointing, On a positive note, the food served was delicious and appealing with good service provided. I must say the decor of the club was well chosen.

I think everyone would be very happy to see those red lights removed. We could leave with our retinas intact and not get blinded every 10 seconds all night
